This month, we talked to Amber Berukoff; a certified gunsmith and owner of Can-Tac Firearms, and Jennifer Gadbois; Managing Director of the Canadian Sporting Arms and Ammunition Association (CSAAA). We talked all about women in the firearms industry. Jennifer Gadbois Jenn lives in rural Eastern Ontario and is an avid hunter, angler, competitive shooter, and lady in the firearm industry. While she didn't grow up in a household interested in hunting, she has always spent more time outdoors than indoors and has always been interested in self-sustainability. The moment she graduated college, she had a few extra seconds and a few extra dollars to invest in the one-stop hunting and PAL course. After completing the courses, becoming licensed, and doing her research (the internet can offer some fantastic learning resources), Jenn quickly dove into hunting head first. Vetted and proficient in safe and responsible hunting and firearm handling, this journey still meant a lot of trial and error to figure out what did and did not work in the many other aspects of hunting and shooting. A hunting passion quickly sparked a bigger firearm passion. Jenn went on to take the RPAL course and become a licensed, restricted firearm owner. She never realized how healthy and inviting Canada's firearm community was and how diverse sports shooting was. After a few years of recreational range visits, Jenn completed the Black Badge Course, and she now competes in IPSC and steel challenges through summer while hunting every fall. In December of 2021, she took on the exciting new role of Managing Director with the Canadian Sporting Arms and Ammunition Association. CSAAA (CS-triple A) is a non-profit organization that lobbies, fights and works to support Canada's hunting and firearm industry. Jenn is beyond grateful to have the opportunity to fight for something she is passionate about and a community and industry that benefits tens of thousands of Canadians in many ways. Amber Berukoff Amber is a mother, sister, daughter, licenced gunsmith, owner of Can-Tac Firearms, president of the Castlegar Pistol Club, founder and managing director of the West Kootenay Ladies Shooting Group, range officer, and firearms instructor. About SHE SHOOTS PODCAST: SHE SHOOTS is a podcast for women in the shooting community and for those interested in learning more about it. It is hosted by women who shoot, hunt, and instruct and most importantly share a passion for introducing new ladies to the sport. Coming to you on the second Tuesday of every month, the objective of SHE SHOOTS is to showcase various activities in the shooting sports and highlight the people who participate. We hope this will help you find something you are interested in learning more about and various ways to get involved. Did you know the shooting community proudly boasts over 250,000 licensed women who participate across Canada? This sport has something for everyone and it's easy to get out and give it a try. Join us every month when we host SHE SHOOTS on a variety of social media platforms. This exciting collaboration is brought to you by the Canadian University Shooting Federation, Project Mapleseed and LadyGuns.

Just wanted to say though that "Matt" from Virginia made me want to turn off that episode. Not sure how much of a close friend he is to you but he is an idiot. I've worked 4 1/2 years with Americans in Whidbey Island who have come from all over the states and never have I spoken to someone that made me want to just walk away from them. ( Well one guy was speaking in Ebonics....that's another story ). It’s been a few weeks now, so I really cant remember any of the specific reasons as to why he is an idiot...oh yeah, he was consistently over speaking the rest of you, and had the typical American arrogance. I’m sure that there are other Virginians out there that you can find that would be able to offer better insights into what is happening to their state. ( Even with the attitude of standing up for their rights against a tyrannical govt ) Sooke, Van Isle Byron ( btw, I received my RPAL 3 years ago IOT import my Glock 19 from the states ( which I had an alien firearms licence and conceal carry permit, best thing ever.) It was your intro to the podcast that talks about that "if you dont own an AR then you are wrong", that made me buy my first AR... I had my Glock/shotguns/SKS but not yet the AR. Keep up the great work. https://youtu.be/5WBJsYJwHdQ From Todd There is some good news; the liberals just got their ass kicked in that by-election. Still I am at a loss to explain the Liberals getting 35% of the vote. Guess we are hovering at the .35 tard factor in Canada. I heard on one of your earlier shows that the firearms ownership rate in Canada is 34 per 100. It is my personal commitment to get that to 100. I am going to pay for RPAL courses for all our kids and significant others (8 kids). And it is going to be guns for every occasion.Because If we don’t stop the gun grabbers this next election it will be like the Churchill quote. If you do not fight for right when you can win easily without bloodshed; If you will not fight when your victory is sure and not too costly; you may come to the moment when you will have to fight with all the odds against you and only a precarious chance at survival. There may even be a worse case. You may have to fight when there is no hope of victory, because it is better to perish than live as slaves.Let’s hope it doesn’t come to that From Todd Good show as usual guys. Andrew made an interesting comment about having a hard time thinking of any of The Turdhole’s accomplishments. Let’s see:1) Releasing a few hundred thousand unemployable adherents to the religion of peace in our cities......of course it has no correlation to the increase in violence there.2) The quick destruction of our oil industry.3) Turning our country into America’s cultural dump. Half the border hoppers have a criminal record.4) Creating the worlds largest ISIS AND SIKH separatist base.5) Scaring away billions in business investment.6) Imposing a pointless carbon tax.7) making Canadian men look like a bunch of virtue signalling cuck pussies.I’m sure there is more. I sure hope we flush this turd in October.Todd Outro Andrew - https://ragnaroktactical.ca/ Visit us at www.canadianpatriotpodcast.com like us on Facebook at www.facebook.comcanadianpatriotpodcast We value your opinions so please visit www.canadianpatriotpodcast.com/feedback/ or email us at feedback@canadianpatriotpodcast.com and let us know what you think. You guys have given me much need sollice in knowing that I'm not the only angry Canadian in our glorious country and that there are others vocalizing and fighting the steady pace of the communism that spews from Shiny Ponies side of the isle. Keep up all you do, and if you're ever in Alberta (especially for an event) drop me a line, would love to hang out or go shooting. As for my quick question. Recently the Mounties have graced me with an extra serving of freedom in issuing my rPAL - before I get all gungho in buying anything I want to join either an NFA or CCFR. I'm wondering what the panels opinion is on which one (or both) that would be best to get. I'm leaning towards CCFR after hearing old shows that had Tracy on, but some of my friends are saying to go the NFA route. Thoughts?
