On this week's show, I'll be sharing some more audio from the summer convention circuit recorded and contributed to us by our good friend Blake Reilly from The Blake and Sal Show. This time, we have audio from the Chicago Cominc and Entertainment Expo (C2E2). This audio features a panel titled "Creating Star Wars: Playing in a Galaxy Far, Far Away" with Dave Sheidt, Jeffrey Brown, Joe Corroney, Katie Cook, and Ramon Perez. This is a collection of authors and artists who have worked together to bring characters in the Star Wars universe to life in books and graphic novels. They'll talk about what it's like to work in the Star Wars universe and create stories without disturbing an already well-established balance in the force.

Blake Reilly from The Blake and Sal Show and D5: The Mighty Ducks podcast joins me for another impromptu, off-the-cuff discussion about all things Disney. Together we'll touch on various Disney-related topics including vintage Disney Channel shows, Disney toys and collectibles, New Years Eve in Walt Disney World, and we might even veer off-topic with some Bruce Springsteen, Billy Joel, and Kevin Smith thrown in just to make things interesting. 

Last week I got to sit down and talk with one of my favorite musical groups, Weatherbox. The band was started in 2004 by singer/songwriter Brian Warren in San Diego, CA. They recently reunited after going on hiatus in 2016. Their current lineup consists of some new and familiar faces.This podcast was recorded at Brooklyn Bazaar, a day after the band played a sold out show upstairs with Person L, Fire is Motion, and the Sal Show. I’ve seen them a couple times in my life and this was for sure the best set I’ve seen.I’ve been a pretty geeked-out fan for about 10 years (still remember buying “American Art” on interpunk) so I tried to ask as many questions as I could about the band’s history and ethos.Their last album “Flies in All Directions” was released on Triple Crown Records in 2014. They’re currently working on some new music and recently dropped some live session videos produced by Shane and Jake’s session project, Half Way Home Sessions.
