Hour 4: Shaun Morash gives us the five best NY Baseball trade deadline deals plus what did the Yankees do at the deadline?
Hour 1: It's a beautiful summer Monday after a rainy Sunday and the New York baseball teams returned from the All-Star break with a dud. The Mets are done and the Yankees are on the road to nowhere. Gio spent the weekend partying with his father-in-law. They started early Friday afternoon and stayed out very late Friday night. Gio left a sliding glass door open and a lot of mosquitos and flies made their way inside. The Yankees bullpen melted down on Sunday. We know what the Yankees problems are but not if they can be fixed midseason. When will Aaron Judge come back and how close to 100% will he be when he does return? Fans are counting down the days until football season starts. CLo is in for Jerry and begins with the Yankees blowing a game in Colorado and losing another series to a bad team. Aaron Boone got very testy with the media. Jerry doesn't think we appreciate Gerrit Cole enough. The Mets salvaged the finale of their series against the Dodgers. Max Scherzer actually pitched very well. Jerry was at a baseball field with a mound that wasn't centered. Today is deadline day for Saquon Barkley and other franchise-tagged players. DeAndre Hopkins took more money to sign with the Titans. Gio had a problem with the coverage of the Scottish Open. Steph Curry wins at everything. In the final segment of the hour, Gio shares some top - and bizarre - headlines with Jerry. What words could Gio tweet out of context without getting in trouble? We've grown numb to cursing. Does Gio curse more than the average person? Jerry got duped by a well-known scalper and Gio scalped a fake ticket to the Aaron Boone game.

Fans are counting down the days until football season starts.
Hour 4: How many New York baseball teams will we be talking about this fall? Gio guesses zero. For every bad team that goes on a run there are a ton that stink all the way through the end of the season. The Yankees have hope but are not playing to the standard we have for the Yankees. So much will come down to when Aaron Judge comes back. The Mets ruined any momentum they could have had with their recent 4 game losing streak. The Mets would have to play almost exactly like last year's team to make a run this year. It's a large enough sample size this year to believe they aren't capable of playing that well. CLo returns for his final update of the day. The Yankees lost a game and series and Aaron Boone told a reporter to “save it” with that question. The Mets only scored 3 runs this weekend. At least they won a game. Gio has a story of our friend Pete Bellotti just missing out on meeting his favorite actor, Paul Rudd. Vic Dibitetto posted about the reaction to his clip being played on the show and then calling into the show. CLo has a Moment of the Day featuring Jerry asking questions he probably regrets. In the final segment of the day, Gio and Jerry offer condolences to the family of Elise Finch from CBS News. Would you legally represent an alleged serial killer?
Will Chiarucci talks about the Islanders recent re-signings, Josh Bailey getting traded and the current state of NY Baseball.
I discuss the state of the Mets and Yankees whose to blame should they be sellers at the deadline why fans need to be more realistic will ohtani be in the Bronx or queens and a lot more
Will Chiarucci talks about the current state of the New York Yankees and New York Mets and the return of Shawn Thomas coming back to the podcast.
Jerry is in for Boomer today and he and Gio talk about the greatness of Aaron Judge. Gio said he's the best NY baseball player in a really long time and they try to think who else was as great as him. We are talking day in and day out. Judge is the best player in baseball as we sit here today. C-Lo is in for Jerry and is here for his first update but first we talked about our Kickoff to Summer show. He started with the Aaron Judge HR that tied the game at 5 in the bottom of the ninth. Gerrit Cole was not great and put the Yankees in a hole early but the Yankees battled back. DJ Lemahieu did a poor job on a squeeze bunt. Anthony Volpe's sac fly in the tenth wins it for the Yanks. The Mets fell behind early to the Cubs and never recovered. Gary Sanchez had his first passed ball as a Met. Pete Alonso hit another HR in the loss. Aaron Rodgers strained his calf warming up yesterday. He also talked about how great it's been to be a Jet so far. The Celtics finally won a game over the Heat and are now down 3-1 in the series. In the final segment of the hour, both Jerry and Gio said Aaron Judge is the most impressive player they've seen in NY in their lifetime. Gio has a funny Joe Benigno/Sandy Alomar story. Joe also had an awkward Phil/Joe Niekro moment. A caller compares Judge to Dave Winfield.

Jerry has audio of Judge's 60th HR from John Sterling and Michael Kay. Judge is the current Triple Crown leader. Alonso & Lindor homer in the Mets win over the Brewers. In the final segment of the hour, Boomer does not like the traffic the UN causes. We got a call from the baseball coach of the kid who caught the HR ball last night.

The Yankees look completely different from the team we watched in the first half. We took calls on the Yankees problems. And we finish up with a call from a concerned Mets fan.

Hour 3: The 8am hour starts with talk about how well the Mets and Yankees are both doing right now. Both teams are expected to make moves at the trade deadline. The question is, are these teams built to win in the playoffs. Boomer knows someone who knows Aaron Rodgers' new girlfriend, ‘Blu of Earth'. A caller wants advice on being a ‘girl Dad'. Jerry returns for an update and starts with the Yankees beating the Rays 2-0. The Mets also tossed a shutout of the Brewers, 4-0. Cardinals pitcher Miles Mikolas lost a no hitter with 2 outs and 2 strikes in the ninth. Deshaun Watson met the media again. Brooks Koepka has had enough of your questions about the LIV tour. In the final segment of the hour we talk about Mekhi Becton showing up at the Jets tomorrow. He didn't really work out with the team but worked with a trainer.
