"Space Ritual" by Hawkwind is a live album released in 1973, capturing the essence of their unique blend of space rock, psychedelia, and hard rock. The double album, recorded during their 1972 tour, is a sonic journey through interstellar themes, featuring extended jams, swirling synthesizers, heavy guitar riffs, and driving rhythms. Standout tracks like "Master of the Universe" and "Orgone Accumulator" are complemented by poet Robert Calvert's spoken word interludes, creating an immersive, otherworldly experience that transports listeners to the far reaches of the cosmos. This album is a quintessential piece of Hawkwind's legacy and a landmark in the space rock genre.Listen to the album: SpotifyApple MusicLinks:RedditOfficial websiteContactSupport us on PatreonDISCLAIMER: Due to copyright restrictions, we are unable to play pieces of the songs we cover in these episodes. The Space Ritual Alive in Liverpool and London”.

Space Ritual is an excellent document of Hawkwind's classic lineup, underscoring the group's status as space rock pioneers. As the quintessential "people's band," Hawkwind carried '60s countercultural idealism into the '70s, gigging constantly, playing wherever there was an audience, and even playing for free on five consecutive days outside the 1970 Isle of Wight Festival.

Grace is one of those elusive words that gets tossed around a lot, but what exactly is it? Saving Grace, Grace under fire, God's Grace, Graceful. What does it all boil down to? I think you would get a different definition of Grace from nearly anyone you talked to, and I also think some people would have no idea how to describe it, and I think that's for valid reasons. Grace can feel like an elusive term that describes many things which really is describing one thing. And yet despite it's elusiveness, to be called Graceful or if someone said you exuded Grace, would be such a high compliment. So what is it, how do we fall from it, can we give it to ourselves, and how do we become it? Disclaimer: For me, Grace is NOT a religious conversation, but a spiritual. I am by no means advocating a specific religion, and when I say God you can feel free to insert whatever description suits you best; universe, spirit, higher power, goddess etc_____Get the Grace and Space Ritual in video format by going to alyssakuzins.com/episode70 Connect with Alyssa:Instagram

Hey folks, it’s time to bring you some new Love That Album podcasting for 2016. We’re starting off with episode 23 of Eric Reanimator’s  Love That Album – The Compilation Edition. In the last couple of weeks, rock music has lost (at least) three iconic rock music figures. Stevie Wright of The Easybeats, David Bowie (who did a cracking version of “Friday On My Mind”), and Ian “Lemmy” Kilmister. Eric starts this episode discussing two facets to Lemmy’s career. First, he discusses Lemmy’s first important band Hawkwind and their live album “Space Ritual” before moving onto the more iconic Motorhead live album “No Sleep 'Til Hammersmith”. Then, he discusses a compilation of a very different artist, producer Joe Meek. He created a hit for the Tornados with “Telstar”, but as the compilation “The Alchemist Of Pop - Home Made Hits & Rarities 1959-1966” shows, he produced a lot of hits with his very distinctive style of heavy reverb and sped up sounds. Eric discusses the man and this compilation. You can download the show by searching for Love That Album in the iTunes store or downloading streaming directly from  http://lovethatalbum.blogspot.com Send the show feedback at rrrkitchen@yahoo.com.au (written or mp3 voicemail) or join the Facebook group at http://www.facebook.com/groups/lovethatalbum If you enjoy what you hear, please tell a friend or ten to tune in.
