Rachel finally convinces Matt to watch 2007 WWE, starting off a 2007 SummerSlam PPV re-watch. Matt is absolutely appalled at the quality of the party decorations in Mr. McMahon's office and the looming shadow of Chris Benoit. They walk through all of the matches, with Rachel providing her watching background on previous rivalries and storylines to a bewildered Matt. They've never been more divided on why they like wrestling, but they find common ground through their dissection of what many may consider “trash”. Trisha Paytas had her baby and Matt's shock continues as Rachel reveals the baby's name.FOLLOW US ON SOCIALS:TWITTER @ilwpodINSTAGRAM @ilwpodTIKTOK @mattvogel5 and @ilwpod#ilikewrestlingpod #ilwpod

Other potential aspects of the Summerslam card are mentioned, as well as the news that Kevin Eck has joined the WWE creative team. The "piledrivin' post of the week" (www.thesportsstuff.com/boards) is handed out, and in the "Finisher" segment Alex mentions the news that the WWE is interested in bringing back former big names to try to attract viewers back to the product. "The Alex Reimer Show" is on an indefinite hiatus due to programming changes at "The Money Matters Radio Network." But stay tuned...news on the future of the show will be coming shortly.
