I'm very excited to share my conversation with Joslyn Doiron, Co-Host and Feature Reporter for Coastal Living, as she shares working for KENS 5 in San Antonio after graduating from TAMUCC, returning to her hometown of Corpus Christi to co-host the Coastal Bend's only lifestyle television show, incorporating her love of fashion, fitness, and fun into her day job, why she prefers to uplift others in her segment "Coastal Hero", and actively choosing love and positivity in episode 191.
Today could be the day for a decision to be made by #AaronRodgers - will he stay with the #GoPackGo, go to the #TakeFlight or just simply retire?; the first two #FirstFour games of the #NCAATournament were played, still is unfair for schools like #TAMUCC and #SeMO to not be playing on Thursday or Friday Guest: Talking hoops with the voice of the number one team in #collegebasketball, #Alabama PxP Chris Stewart joins the showgram to preview their chances in the #NCAATournament, just how special #BrandonMiller is, (plus which other players we should watch out for) and the way #RollTide navigated through the late season distractions.
This week UTSA baseball alumnus Chase Keng was kind enough to make time to join Dan on episode 3 of Around the Bird Bath. The guys preview UTSA's next two weekend series (Utah and A&M Corpus Christi) while Chase also shares a few stories from his time at UTSA. It was interesting to hear Chase say that the baseball team considers Rice to be their primary rival! I also appreciated Chase sharing his initial impression of Coach Hallmark as a guy who was going to immediately turn the baseball program around. Thanks again to Chase for joining us! Hope you guys enjoy the episode.

Here at 50 States of Terror we believe that the only way to Break The Stigma of Mental Health is to encourage open discussion and engage others in conversation about it. We think you will enjoy this bonus episode that veers off of your normal content and hopefully brings some enlightenment to some shadowy conversations we try to skirt around. Kailey is joined by the amazing Dr. Anthony Zoccolillo, psychology professor at TAMUCC. He brings a fun, casual, and educational point of view and expertise to the topic. Clarifying some misconceptions we may all be facing in regard to some of the most commonly misidentified disorders. We discuss our own journey with mental health, how it affects how we parent our children, why we can't immediately discredit cryptid sightings solely based on one's mental health diagnosis, and for a brief moment we discuss... why are aliens so obsessed with butts? I hope you get the feel that this episode will educational but also not a stuffy discussion. We share laughs and life experiences. And that is just the way we will break the stigma of mental health. In this episode, we switch gears to a more serious note as we interview a local teacher turned entrepreneur, Andrea Johnson, who co-founded C MATH is EASY alongside Elsa Brown. They created this organization in tandem with original materials to "help a child or an adult understand the basic foundations of math." During a lesson prep, Andrea is perplexed to find a copyrighted workbook of theirs plagiarized seemingly verbatim. Despite their efforts to work alongside and possibly partner with these local educational institutions, it appears copyrighted material is being used but is not credited to the rightful author or organization. Andrea understands and delights in their organization's profound role in teaching others so "they can become their dream" yet feels like their hard work is being exploited rather than justly commended.
