As an All-American running back at the University of Georgia and a Pittsburgh Steeler first-round draft pick, Tim Worley had life by the tail. But despite all the God-given ability and unlimited opportunity at hand, his life began spiraling out of control. The landing was very hard but life-changing for him and many others as he now traverses the country telling his story. Go Dawgs.
Monologue: :Tim Worley charted out a six-year NFL career with the Pittsburgh Steelers and Chicago Bears. Worley was an original first round pick of the Steelers in 1989 and flashed talent during his rookie season. He rushed for 770 yards and five touchdowns. While Worley had a fairly prosperous pro career, he is a legend at Georgia. During his junior season with the Bulldogs, he ran for 1,216 yards and 17 touchdowns. Certain publications named him a first-team All-American and he was also UPI's SEC Offensive Player of the Year. Worley is also a member of the Florida-Georgia game Hall of Fame. He now is active in the motivational speaking field.
