We spend 40% of our lives at work. Think about that for a second—that's a lot of time! If God knows we're spending 150,000 hours on the job, you can be sure He has a purpose for every single one of those moments. In this message, Pastor JC brings our "Made For Mondays" series to a close by challenging us to see our work not just as a paycheck, but as a mission field. Our jobs aren't meant to be a tension against our faith, but a place where our faith can shine brightly. Are you ready to see how God can use your job to change lives? You were created for a purpose, and what you do is a gift from God. The mission field is right where you are—in your cubicle, in the classroom, or on the field. Jesus wants to work through you, and He’s given you the greatest tools to do it: being aware, committing to prayer, showing care, and being ready to share your story. GO Church exists to love anyone from anywhere into a personal and growing relationship with Jesus Christ. We believe in loving people to life. If this message encouraged you, please share it and let us know what you think in the comments below!

When Mondays Hit Hard: A Message of Hope What do you do when the world is in chaos? The news is filled with stories of evil and division. The devil is running wild, and it can be easy to lose hope. But what if there's another story happening? What if God is up to something? In this powerful message, Pastor JC challenges us to shift our perspective from the chaos around us to the hope we have in Jesus. He dives deep into the theology of work, reminding us that work was a part of God’s perfect plan from the very beginning. While sin may have made work difficult, it's not without purpose. In fact, our jobs can be a place where we find true meaning, passion, and fulfillment. This week, we learn that what you do matters, and God cares about your work because He cares about you. You may not be able to change your job, but you can change the way you see it. Pastor JC shares three ways to transform your approach to work: be thankful, be faithful, and be excellent. Doing your best and leaving the results to God can make your life a testimony that points others to Jesus. Because no matter how tough the week looks, we know how the story ends—we win.

We’ve all heard the phrase: “Hurt people hurt people.” But what if church hurt doesn’t have to define you—or destroy your faith? In this powerful message, Pastor JC Worley unpacks how unresolved pain often spills over into relationships, breeding more hurt. Looking at biblical truth and real-life experiences, he reminds us that while people may wound us, God offers a path to healing, forgiveness, and restoration. This isn’t about minimizing pain. It’s about breaking the cycle of hurt and allowing Jesus to transform our response.

One of the most common reasons people give for leaving or avoiding the church is simple: “It’s full of hypocrites.” In this honest and challenging message, Pastor JC Worley confronts the reality of hypocrisy in the church and its devastating impact. Drawing from the story of Ananias and Sapphira in Acts 5, he shows how hypocrisy destroys trust, damages the witness of the church, and even separates us from God. But the good news is that what hypocrisy breaks, God’s truth and grace can heal.

Church hurt is real—but it doesn’t have to define you. In this compassionate and challenging message, Pastor JC Worley tackles the reality of pain caused by people within the church. Using the story of Hannah in 1 Samuel 1, he shows that even when leaders miss it, or fellow believers wound us, God offers healing and hope. This isn’t about pretending the hurt never happened—it’s about facing it, refusing to let it shape your view of God, and choosing to stay and heal instead of walking away.

In the ninth episode of Soundscapes NYC, host Ryan Purcell traces the trans-Atlantic movement of artists associated with punk culture in New York and London. In conversation with British cultural historian Matt Worley, we follow New York-based artists like Jayne (née Wayne) County, Johnny Thunders, Jerry Nolan, and others to the U.K. where they embedded themselves in a growing music-based subculture. As the punk aesthetic expanded internationally it diversified in form incorporating elements of fashion, literature, and cinema like Derek Jarman's apocalyptic masterpiece JUBILEE (1978). Matt Worley is a Professor of Modern History at the University of Reading and author of numerous books that cover modern British history with a special focus on music and the British Labor movement. His book No Future: Punk, Politics and British Your Culture, 1976-1984 (Cambridge University Press, 2017) explores the evolution of punk as a fashion, a musical form, an attitude, and an overall aesthetic. Setting punk culture against a backdrop of social fragmentation, violence, high unemployment, and socio-economic change, Worley recaptures punk's anarchic force as a medium through which the frustrated and the disaffected could reject, revolt, and re-invent. Today we looked at one of the most iconic battles in Scripture - David vs. Goliath. We were reminded that giants still show up in our lives. They may not carry swords, but they can still paralyze us with fear, doubt, or insecurity. “You come to me with sword, spear, and javelin, but I come to you in the name of the Lord.” (1 Samuel 17:45) David didn’t win because he was the strongest - he won because he was prepared and he knew who was fighting for him. Sometimes, the only one who believes you can win… is you. But if God is in you, that’s all you need. ✅ Name your Goliath. ✅ Be ready when the battle shows up. ✅ Silence the critics and stand firm in your calling. ✅ And trust that God will use what was meant to destroy you to develop you. Preparation in the quiet places is what brings victory in the public ones. You don’t wait until the battle to build your faith, you train now. Because the same power that raised Jesus from the dead lives in you.

Pastor JC kicks off our Ask Way series, addressing one of the most common and challenging topics—the problem of sin. This sermon explored what sin truly is, why we struggle with it, and how to overcome it through faith in Jesus Christ. Drawing from Scripture and real-life experiences, Pastor JC breaks down the cycle of sin—starting with thoughts and leading to actions—and emphasizes the importance of taking every thought captive. He also clarifies the difference between condemnation and conviction, reminding that guilt doesn't come from God, but that conviction is His way of drawing us closer. This message serves as a heartfelt reminder that God is faithful and just to forgive us, no matter how many times we fall.
