In this episode I talk with Cameron Clutter , Producer of The St. Gabriel Café on St. Gabriel Radio in Columbus Ohio. In this episode Cam discusses how important those 1 on 1 relationships are to building the kingdom of God.To learn more about St. Gabriel Radio go to; https://stgabrielradio.com/
Integrity, It is hard to come in this modern society. When the ends justify the means it's okay to lie, cheat and steal. Hey you can even bare false witness about your neighbor. You can say you had nothing to do with a political decision even when the facts say otherwise. In this episode of Along The Way, Fr. Gabriel Burke joins Dave and Deacon Dave to discuss an incident that made the national news in Ireland. A pro choice politician attempted to receive communion at a funeral. This episode is about integrity, the integrity that Fr. Burke had to stand his ground and say no! In this episode Fr Burke shares some valuable advice about sticking to your guns so that we can be men or women of integrity and children of God.
Suffering, it is not just a subject or topic of discussion, it is a part of the human condition that we will probable understand fully in this life time. Everyone experiences it at some point in their life and when we are in those times of suffering the last thing in the world we need is to understand it at an intellectual level, no, it is in those times that we seek a connection of the heart. In this episode Deacon Joe Delaney from the Diocese of Norwich in Connecticut talks With Deacon Dave and Dave about the first steps in the journey to understand, suffering.
Welcome to the celebration! That's right… this episode is a celebration of one of my favorite people in the worlds return home. Born into the Southern Baptist tradition of Christianity, my brother in Christ has been welcomed into the fullness of truth and is living the next chapter of his life sacramentally. The past few years have been a test of the metal to which he is made and I am more convince that he has the patients of a saint. Fitting for him, that is what he wants to be, a saint. Choosing the name Dismiss Dion as a confirmation name my friend Trace Chamberlain enters into the next part of his journey along the way. I am so proud of my friend who is a model of perseverance to me and anyone else that has the privilege of this man of God's wisdom.
This episode begins season ten of this podcast. I am hoping this season will be a call to action in restoring kindness and charity to a world that is hurting from loneliness and fear. Joining me along the way is my good friend Marty Matullia who knows a thing about building up young men into men. A former educator shares his experience on how to be a mentor for Christ and return manliness to masculinity.
The Political season is once again upon us. I have to say that I have not seen that many political advertisement's this time. I guess because I live in a state that is dominated by the democratic ideology. I, at one point in my life followed the tides of politics, believing that that my vote made a difference. Then out of shear frustration I gave up on politics and politicians. I became a person that didn't think what happens in Washington had any real effect on me. Now with the price of food and everything else on the rise and the wars that rage on I once again have turned my eyes back to the political arena in hopes that someone has an answer to the problems we face as a nation. In this episode Fr. Skip Thompson talks with Deacon Dave and Dave about every Catholics Civic Duty to vote. You may feel as if your vote doesn't count …but stand up and make your voice heard by casting you vote.
We live in times when it just seem like it's okay to offend Christians especially Catholic Christian's. We look and the world and wonder where the world has gone wrong? And it is the world that reminds us of the people that call themselves Catholic and their short comings as well. Scandal and controversy has a way of beating us down. It makes us ask the question who can I trust? Friends I believe Jesus when he said that “This is My church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.” We live in a time as witnesses to the truth that the gates of hell will try to take down the church. Jesus I trust in you! Help your people through these times let us not lose even one of your sheep in these battles of attrition. Joining me along the way is the host of a Catholic Take is someone who prepares for these battles and delivers the information you should know my friend Joe McClane. Dear friends, I am so proud to bring you this episode of Along The Way. This episode is living proof that the tough times in our life can make us bitter or better and my guest has chosen the latter. He became a better man through the trials of alcoholism, a fire that left him with nothing and cancer. Through it all being drawn closer and closer to God and eventually answering the Call to the Deaconate. Today Deacon Lou a.k.a. Chef Lou Aaron uses his restaurants to help others through the tough times. Check out the West Side Drive in at https://www.westsidedrivein.com/about
My Friend Doctor George Seremuga joins me once again, this time to tell about his experience in the Holy Land. It was the time spent there that was the inspiration to his new book “ My 50-Day Pentecost in the Holy Land. What I love about this conversation , it is more about his experience there than it is about selling books. However I think you will want to read the book after hearing about some of Dr. Georges personal revelations. To find out more about Dr. George visit his website at; https://drgeorgej.com/lead-with-love-2/ Doctor George's YouTube channel; https://www.youtube.com/@DrGeorgeJCeremuga
Bob Dylan wrote, “The Times They Are A'changin”, and maybe not for the better. It seems nothing good come from the news. As people we are becoming overwhelmed with a society that is clearly out of control with no moral compass the need to be heard is needed now more than ever. Many problems that we face may not need the services of a psychiatrist or psychologist but maybe a few sessions with a life coach to get a different perspective. My friend Deacon Don Predergast is putting his education and life experience together to create a ministry of service to those that need an ear. To find out more about Deacon Don Prendergast visit him on Facebook at; https://www.facebook.com/donald.prendergast?mibextid=LQQJ4d
Probably one of the most important things we need to remember on our journey along the way is love. Christ said that they will know you are mine by the way you love. In this episode Doctor George Ceremuga and I talk about five pillars of health and God's health plan. What does love have to do with healthy living? Well, Doctor George believes with love. And these are not just words. Dr. George's energy and enthusiasm are…Well…infectious. To find out more about Dr. George J. Ceremuga go to his website at; https://drgeorgej.com/
Eric Meyer is an amazing guy! He has spent much of his adulthood climbing the company ladder. Many times though people ask him to “come with me”. These chance meetings with people along the way have led to some life changing moments in Eric's life. I'm sure you can relate. The wonderful thing is Eric wrote these stories down and compiled it in a book called “The Catholic Company Man”. In it Eric shares a number of personal stories that help others find the on ramp to faith and how to balance family life work life and the Catechism. “The Catholic Company Man” is available at Amazon at the link below https://www.amazon.com/Catholic-Company-Man-Collisions-Catechism/dp/166674459X Eric Meyer is also available as a Speaker for your conference or parish mission.
Some say that radio is a dying medium that will share the same fate as the dinosaurs. True that radio is an old form of communication, but it is still on the front line of the new evangelization. All across this country Catholic radio stations are producing content, and as great as the national content is, I love the locally produced content. Each morning I begin my day with one such radio station from Columbus Ohio. St. Gabriel Radio begins my broadcast day with prayer and guest's that I find interesting and thought provoking. I hope that you will check them out on line at the link below. St. Gabriel café is hosted by Amanda, Cam and my new friend Dave Orsborn. To find out more or to listen on line go to https://stgabrielradio.com/
Doctor Ray Guarendi is both a television and radio personality seen and heard on the EWTN global Catholic Network. His radio show is a staple to my daily line up. Dr. Ray's strait forward approach to parenting and other human interaction is truly a refreshing change from the typical and cultural norms. I always enjoy his comical delivery and experience based advice. In this episode I asked the good Doctor what is wrong with people? Before you know it I was on the preverbal couch getting my head shrunk because I was getting too big for my bitches and needed a reality check. The Doctor is in and he is joining me Along The Way! Please check out Doctor Ray's website at; https://www.drray.com/
Joining me along the way in this episode, is someone that has been there since my reversion back to the Catholic faith and EWTN's beginning, right next to Mother Angelica. I love his down home approach to Catholicism. But, please don't think what he says is simplistic in any way. This episode I have the pleasure to talk with Fr. Mitch Pacwa about his new book “Commentary on the Book of Isaiah”. In this casual conversation Fr. Mitch shares with me the depth of the of this amazing prophet. To find out more about Fr Mitch Pacwa and his book go to; https://tanbooks.com/authors/fr-mitch-pacwa
Every time I talk with Bear Woznick I always take something away from our conversation that honestly I find life changing. He always gives me something that causes me to explore myself at a deeper level. Talking with this man of such deep faith makes me realize that life with God is the adventure of a lifetime. In this episode we discuss His new book and so much more. I guarantee there is something in this casual conversation that you too can build upon and go deeper with your faith and experience with God. Let me begin by saying thank you to all the guests that have joined Deacon Dave and me Along The Way. Let me thank all of you that have listened to the show. Thank you to all those that have told a friend about this show. 2023 was an amazing year of growth for this show and I am eternally grateful for its growing success. This podcast has been for me the catalyst for growth in my life. It has been the key that has opened door to a feeling of fulfillment and achievement. This is episode 100. In this episode the guy's (Trace Chamberlain, Jay Goodman, Eddie Trask and God's Door man My good buddy Pat King) Join me and Deacon Dave to celebrate this milestone. Thank you all for listening to the first 100!
This episode was hard for Deacon Dave. It is dedicated to his brothers Peter and Paul Imhof. Sadly for us this year they both passed on to their eternal reward. This casual conversation is a simple reminder that death will eventually run us down and when the chase is over we will breathe our last breath and be face to face with God. Please remember to have Masses said for those that have gone before you. Remember to pray for the dead. Jesus I trust in You!
No God, no peace. Know God know peace. However you say it, it is a true statement. In this society of sensationalism being the bearer of bad news can raise us to the status of celebrity. Bad news can be worth millions of dollars for those that control the twenty four hour news cycle. This is only one aspect of life that can rob us of the peace that Jesus Christ promised us. So how do we keep that peace or find it in the first place? In this episode Father Gabriel Burke, host of the podcast “Forgotten Treasures” talks with Down The Hall Dave and Deacon Dave about finding peace through trust in God. John Lennon said “Give peace a chance”, maybe the reason the world is falling apart is because we don't give God a chance…the source of true peace. To listen to Forgotten Treasures go to; https://www.castingthe.net/forgotten-treasures.php
This is a fun episode that connects theological truths with the need to just unwind. In this episode author Michael Foley discusses his book “Drinking With The Saints”. He discusses how he came across some of the most delightful sounding drink recipes while pairing them with some 100 proof saints. As someone who enjoys simplicity in all things Michael assures me that beer and Irish Whiskey is a good mix in moderation. I hope you enjoy this episode as it was fun for me to record.
I am convinced that the Holy Spirit is a master of opportunity. I recently had a chance meeting at our guest's recent speaking engagement. For months I was trying to contact him to be a guest. His extremely busy schedule and his priestly duties made it nearly impossible to schedule a time that we could sit down and have a casual conversation. However when the time was right the Holy Spirit brought us together and a block of time was opened. This interview with Fr. Larry Richards was a long time coming and it was so worth the wait. I hope and pray that you will get out of it as much as did. Please check out Fr. Larry's website at https://www.thereasonforourhope.org/
It seems like forever since I have posted an episode of Along The Way. In fact it has been about a month and a half since my last episode. To be honest we had two guests that had last minute schedule conflicts and had to postpone their conversations with Deacon Dave And me. However, a chance meeting with today's guest was another introduction to God's friends. One that has gone on to his eternal reward and one that has written a book about him. My guest today is about Father Aloysius Schwartz. A twentieth century priest that is responsible for the care of thousands of children, even up to today. Father Al as he was known embrace the cross of poverty and made his own. Joining me along the way to discuss Father Al and the continuing work of the order he founded is Catholic Speaker and author of “Priest and Beggar” Kevin Wells. To find out more about Kevin's work go to; www.worldvillages.org Or to find out about his books go to; www.priestandbeggar.org
With the world in a downward spiral, a morality death spin of sorts, and the numbers increasing in those that practice the occult, it is no wonder why exorcist's case-loads are at an all-time high. This episode is a conversation about just that. First we begin by discussing Exorcism and what the Exorcist priest sees and the battle he fights. We will also discuss the rise of the occult. Joining me along the way is Charles Fraune, Author of two outstanding books that discusses both these topics. “Slaying Dragons” and “Slaying Dragons II The Rise of The Occult” both books are fascinating and for me eye opening. To find out more about these books go to; https://www.theslayingdragonsbook.com/
When your prayer is to God, that he introduces you to his friends, it is amazing the parade of life long introductions he will make. For me this began with St. Ignatius being an example of Gods of what God had in store. St. Ignatius's life was transformed by his introduction to the saints, and so would mine. I am so proud to be a Catholic because of our connection to the holy men and woman. In fact it is such an important part of our faith that we profess it as part of the mass. “I believe in the communion of saints” This episode is about how the saints play such an important part in our spirituality, and it is an introduction to who I hope will be the next saint given to the world from Ireland, Fr. Willie Doyle SJ. With Catholicism on the decline not just worldwide but especially in Ireland Devotion to Father Willie may be the answer to the loss of joy that secularism has left us. Joining me Along The Way to discuss the saints and Fr. Willie Doyle is the postulator of his cause is Fr. John Hogan a priest of the Diocese of Meath in Ireland and one of the host's of EWTN's Forgotten Heritage. This episode mentions a podcast that my friend Fr. Gabriel Burke a devotee of Fr. Willie. I believe that Divine Mercy is the most important devotion to the world, because it goes beyond being just devotion and is more a lifestyle. To understand Divine Mercy you really need to understand the image and St. Faustina's diary. From this casual conversation, I look at the image with renewed eyes. I hope it will be as eye opening for you as it was for me. Joining me along the way is the founder of the Original Divine Mercy Institute is Daniel DiSilva. To find out more about the Original Divine Mercy Institute go to; https://www.originaldivinemercy.com/
It is incredible the people that God will intersect our paths with. This episode is an amazing testimonial to the mercy of God. My guest in this episode is a former Pentecostal, former Satanist and professed Buddhist monk that has found his home in the Catholic Church. This self-proclaimed trouble maker found redemption when he came face to face with the Holy Eucharist. This is an amazing journey that I am happy to share with you. Please share this episode with someone who needs to hear about God's mercy. Joining me along the way is David Fisher.
In this episode my good friend Dave Imhof sits down with me in studio to discuss his recent ordination to the Diaconate. From the astute observation of a parishioner and the wise guidance of a trusted spiritual director, God spoke to Dave's heart. This is the complete story of Dave Imhof's answer to the call. This episode is in memory of Deacon Michael Puskis who passed away suddenly during the formation of this class of candidates. As much as this episode is a memorium, it is also remembers with gratitude the wonderful work done by Deacon Ben LoCosto who continued on in the Place of Deacon Puskis. From everyone at Spirit of Truth Radio Arts Congratulation Deacon Dave Imhof! To hear Deacon Dave Imhof's homilies please visit www.castingthe.net
When I returned back to the Catholic Church, My prayer was for God to introduce me to his friends. From that day forth I have had a devotion to many saints. St. Teresa of Avila being my favorite and a long list of saints and blessed men and women that I call on daily to guide my journey along the way. But really this episode is I opening to me because none of the saints that I call upon were ever married. Except For the Blessed Mother and St. Joseph none of the saints I ask for their intersession understand what it was like to be married. Joining me along the way to open my eyes to the list of married saint is Patrick O'Hearn, Author of the new book Courtship of the Saints. Thank you to my friend Eddie Trask, host of the podcast Catholic ReCon. It was Eddie's redesign of Along The Way's cover art that lead me to consider a more contemplative approach to season 8. In this season I hope and pray to help you find the spirituality that helps you along your way. In this episode Fr. Larry Barile and Dave Imhof are in studio to discuss the sacrament's, and how they are connected to the spiritual life. Sign up for my email newsletter and be notified when a new show drops. Here in America, if you hear the word pilgrim you more than likely think of a guy with matching buckles on their shoes and hat eating a turkey drumstick. The truth is, the word pilgrim and pilgrimage goes back beyond centuries old. In this episode Steve Ray shares his experiences on what sets a pilgrimage aside from a vacation. Steve is the author of many books, an international speaker a documentary film maker. But with over two hundred trips to the Holy Land to his credit he is an amazing “Pilgrims Guide” To find out more about Steve Ray go to; https://catholicconvert.com/ or https://inheritancepilgrimages.org/
This Episode really was just a casual conversation between two guys. I wanted to talk to my guest for so many reasons. So we did we talked about his journey to the Catholic Church, his rise and falls in a career he looked to get out of. Then his acceptance of God's will to remain in that career, only to mentor other's and go on to be one of the host of a very successful morning show that airs on Salt and Light Radio in Boise Idaho. I am really glad that I got to talk with Brian Howell so that I could share my dream with him and get the advice I really need to move forward. To find out more about Salt and Light Radio go to: https://saltandlightradio.com/
Each of us has a personal philosophy that guides us and shapes our perception of reality. I think that Philosophy without theology is misguided and leads to disordered thinking. This school of thought leads to the many ism's that are plaguing this modern society. What is your philosophy and what is it rooted in? Does it inspire you to grow in the faith? Joining me along the way is one of the hosts of Coffee Conversation's Fr. David Stavarz
This show will have a different feel to it. This show was done as an experiment. It was done to study a process for future endeavors. This episode is one that I have been giving a lot of thought to, because It is a revisit of episode one with my friend Larry Barile. I have titled this episode “Lessons From Along The Way”. It is a nervous as episode one because the comfortable format has been thrown out the window for a more structured radio format. Also my good friend Eddie Trask makes an appearance to tell us about his new booklet based on an essay he wrote about the Protestant Reformation. All and all this episode was an experiment that I hope you will like. Please remember to subscribe to this show where ever you listen. To sign up for my email newsletter please go to my website at www.castingthe.net To find out more about Eddie Trask go to; www.eddietrask.com
Sometimes the hardest thing we can do is share our faith, Especially, outside of the safety of the church walls. Maybe we don't feel qualified to be an evangelist. Maybe we think it is the priest's job to do all that. No, Jesus himself said to go and make disciples of all nations. In this episode I learn some simple strategies to evangelization. What more can I say? Spreading the Gospel is up to each of us. To find out more about the St. Paul Street Evangelist go to https://streetevangelization.com/
This episode was a long time in the making. For months I have been trying to contact my guest to make this possible. Technology had let me down as neither, he or I could contact each other. Thank God and our mutual persistence it was finally possible for this episode to become a reality. In this episode I ask Bishop Alphonsus Cullinan, the Bishop of Waterford and Lismore Ireland and a known defender of the faith to help me understand the age old question…What is truth?
When Tan books reached out to me to talk to the author of one of their new titles, I jumped at the chance. Fr. Basil Cole is an academic that make Aquinas understandable to a common person such as myself. At the time of this interview I had not received my copy and I felt like I was at a bit of a disadvantage. That could not be further from the truth, this was a fascinating conversation. In Father Coles new book ”Angelic Virtues and Demonic Vices” he talks about a deeper understand of God through living a virtuous life and the viciousness of vice take that all away from us. Again making Aquinas understandable to a simple man with a simple theology; Me.
Discouragement, It may be a suggestion from the devil himself or It may come from the voice of someone else. Discouragement, it can even come from the self-talk we have with ourselves. Where ever this stumbling block to the journey God has called us upon it is important to have trusted friends that have your spiritual back. This episode is devoted to the guys that I call my Spiritual Band of Brothers. Joining me along the way is Dave Imhof, Jay Goodman, Eddie Trask, Pat King and the guy who became my friend in an hour of darkness and was a source of encouragement, Trace Chamberlain.
It's no secret that I am proud of my Irish heritage. I close every episode with an old Irish blessing as a tribute to all of the wonderful things that the Irish have given the world. Poets and Scholars Ireland has delivered some of the best, and according to my guest only the best whiskey comes from Ireland. So, as St Patrick's day approaches and we celebrate everyone being Irish that day, I wanted to know more about the patron saint of Ireland. Joining me along the way is my good friend Fr. Gabriel Burke. In this casual conversation Father Burke dispels the myths that surround Saint Patrick only to reveal a man of such faith.
I am embarrassed to say that before I heard my guest talking about them, my knowledge of the California missions was only what I had seen in a John Wayne movie. After hearing the story of this part of American history that is under attack and in danger of being re-written, I am so intrigued to someday visit the Sunshine state. As an American the history of California touches my heart, but as a Catholic it touches my soul. In this episode, author of the book “Pilgrimage” joins me along the way to discuss the California Mission and his 800 mile journey to becoming a better husband and a better father. Please welcome Christian Clifford. To find out more about the author go to; https://missions1769.com/ Please watch the video that is mentioned in the conversation; https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2I3V9yaQiYs
The Catholic faith is enormously rich in wisdom. For centuries sage men and woman have been sharing this wisdom, but as our culture moves away from the common language of the church these treasures of the faith risk getting lost. In this casual conversation I speak with a Roman Catholic priest about the work he is doing to translate these classic works. Along with Tan Books these treasures of wisdom are being preserved for a new generation. In this episode I talk with Fr. Robert Nixon OSB about his recent translation of a work that I was completely unaware of, Thomas A Kempis's Meditations on Death. This conversation helped me the put meaning of death in a better perspective.
I have always enjoyed seeing new places and meeting new people. That is really what this podcast is all about. I enjoy discovering a deeper faith through these simple conversations. In this episode, I talk with my new friend Andy Bull about the Walsingham Camino. This is a revived version of the ancient pilgrimage to one England's most holy sites. This casual conversation has me adding one more thing to my life's bucket list Joining me along the way is author Andy Bull. To find out more about the Walsingham Camino go to; https://www.facebook.com/ShrineOLW/photos/5799039113488454/
Please don't let the length of this episode scare you away. This is one of my favorite discussions on the mystery of suffering. I met my guest Pat King at a Knights of Columbus conference on evangelization in New Haven. I was fortunate to be assigned to the same table as Pat and had a chance to really get to know him. Pat is a guy that really understands what it means to be Along “The Way”, and he is joining me in this episode to be a witness to the value of suffering in hardships. Like I said, please don't let the length of this episode scare you away.
Fr. Francis Adagyine is a Catholic Priest from Ghana Africa. He grew up as a Shepard, herding cattle to support his family. He also grew up in the Traditional African religion but a chance meeting with a group of Catholics set Father on a different course. This is a great story of how a Shepard of cattle becomes a Shepard of people. And he does so, guided by the Holy Spirit. Without the walls of a church this humble man of God leads his flock to experience the Good, The Beautiful and The True in the simplest of ways. The Knights of Columbus Council 3086 have been raising money to help Fr. Francis with some essentials. If you would like to help please check out their website at; https://www.uknight.org/CouncilSite/officers.asp?CNO=3086f
My guest in this episode has worn many hat in his life, studied many subjects, but most of all he has done what he has needed to do to support his family. In this episode I talk with Sam Todzia about his true passion in life…ministry. Sam is the founder of Red Barn Ministries, a Connecticut based ministry that provides children a solid Catholic confirmation retreat and a men's ministry that “Meats and Greets” men where they are. This is the ministry that is Sam's passion, the hat he would really like to wear. To find out more about Sam Todzia and Red Barn Ministries go to; https://www.redbarnministries.org/
Eddie Trask is the host of the popular podcast Catholic “Re.Con.”, seen on You Tube. Eddie has a great following because his show is genuine and honest. This episode is living proof to me that finding interesting people to have a casual conversation with can be found anywhere. My guest in this episode was a table mate at a recent conference that I attended. He is a self-proclaimed regular guy is how he sees himself but to those that meet him he far surpasses such a simple description. My guest in this episode is truly a gentle and caring soul and yet has a true warrior's faith. He is the author of the book “The Rosary For The Regular Guy or Girl” Sean Burlile.
Deacon Ben LoCasto has been a friend for a while. I have always know him to be a man with great focus especially when it come to the matters of spirituality. Many times he has been asked to join the Knights of Columbus or some other worthy organization, Deacon Ben certainly lends his support but always puts being a Deacon first. So when I heard that he not only joined a worldwide organization but represented its leadership in the New York region I had to find out more. So I made phone call to my dear friend and He told me that he was now the Commander of the New York Commandery Of the Templar Knights. Honestly, I didn't know what to think. I thought that the Templer Knights was some historical group that fought in the crusades and was disbanded by the church and would later be part of freemason folk lore. To my surprise the Templar Knights still around and still defend the Catholic way of life. Joining me along the way is Deacon Ben LoCasto to discuss the Knights role in a modern world. To find out more about the Templar Knights go to https://www.templarstoday.us/
It's no secret that I am proud to be a member of the Knights of Columbus and when my good friend David Imhof was asked to by our State Deputy to serve a newly created position within the State Council, I was so happy for him. Dave Imhof is one of the hardest working guys I know. Using the Knights of Columbus principals of “Charity, Unity and Fraternity along with an strong devotion to Fr. McGivney to evangelize the Gospel, Dave Imhof was the perfect choice to lead this new initiative by the supreme council. Joining me along the way to discuss this game changing project is the man responsible for implementing this pilot program into twenty one different areas of the United States and Canada, The Vice President of Faith and Evangelization for the Knights of Columbus, Damian O'Connor.
Just because your name is McGivney, it's not a given that putting faith first will come easy. For my guest Joe McGivney a distant relative of Blessed Michael McGivney holding on to the faith was not the It seems like the foundation that was given to him as a child growing up in South Chicago remained but on that foundation was a structure of anxiety and selfishness that led to a period of addiction that would eventually be almost life altering if it were not for an aunt, a wife and the intercession of Blessed McGivney himself. Joining me along the way is Joe McGivney to show me how he found a new direction in life.
