The Doing Life with Ken and Tabatha podcast is an incredible resource for anyone on their journey towards becoming a Christian. As someone who is fairly new to the faith, I have found this podcast to be incredibly relatable and insightful. After seeing Ken speak at ECCC in Viera, I was thrilled to discover this podcast shortly afterwards. It has provided me with guidance on how to manage conflicts in my relationship and has helped us reach our relationship goals.

One of the best aspects of this podcast is that every episode is engaging and provides a valuable take away. No matter the topic, Ken and Tabatha always encourage listeners to dive into themselves and make changes or take action based on what they hear. Their transparency and openness about their own experiences and struggles make them relatable and trustworthy sources of advice. I have yet to come across an episode that I'm not fully engaged in.

Another great aspect of this podcast is the way it incorporates God into all aspects of life. The hosts, Ken and Tabatha, are clearly devoted Christians who love God deeply. They discuss all things related to God with enthusiasm and authenticity. Their marriage serves as a true testament to their faith, as Ken always praises Tabatha in public, showing his commitment to pouring into their relationship.

The presence of God's hand is evident throughout this podcast, making it truly impactful for Christians looking to deepen their walk with God. It has brought so much light into my life, and I am grateful for the blessing that Ken and Tabatha are through this platform. Their words resonate deeply with me, often giving me exactly what I need to hear each day as I seek ways to worship God.

On a personal level, this podcast has been instrumental in both mine and my husband's growth as we navigate our spiritual journey together. We include it as part of our daily routine -- starting every morning with a prayer before listening -- which helps us gain knowledge and find wisdom through Ken and Tabatha's teachings. Their advice and insights have been invaluable, and we are thankful to have stumbled upon this podcast.

While the podcast has many strengths, one area for improvement could be the audio quality. Some listeners have found it difficult to hear all the knowledge that Ken shares due to his microphone being too low. This issue can sometimes detract from the overall listening experience, but it does not overshadow the valuable content that is being delivered.

In conclusion, The Doing Life with Ken and Tabatha podcast has had a profound impact on my life. It offers encouragement, wisdom, biblical truth, and a sense of feeling heard and understood. Ken and Tabatha genuinely care about people and want them to know and love God more. Their love for others is evident in every episode, leaving listeners encouraged and refreshed. I eagerly look forward to new posts each week, knowing that they will provide further guidance on my journey. This podcast is truly a blessing for anyone seeking encouragement and Godly advice in their everyday lives.

Burnout: Letting go of the fear of burnout

Send us a textThe phrase "burnout" has become a buzzword, almost a badge of honor in some circles, but what if our fear of burnout is actually preventing us from discovering our true potential? In this eye-opening conversation, we challenge the prevailing narrative around burnout and offer a fresh perspective on stress, capacity, and growth.Drawing from personal experiences, we distinguish between genuine burnout—characterized by emotional, mental, and physical exhaustion—and the increasingly common fear of pushing ourselves too hard. This distinction matters profoundly. When we're so afraid of burnout that we back away from our limits, we never discover our ceiling, which means we can never raise it.Think about building muscle. Growth happens when you push slightly beyond your comfort zone. The same principle applies to life capacity. We share the powerful "one more principle"—doing just one more rep, making one more call, having one more difficult conversation—which creates the stress needed for expansion. Your ceiling must become your floor if you want meaningful growth. For those genuinely experiencing burnout, we provide practical strategies: recognizing that rest is holy (not lazy), implementing delegation, making small adjustments to daily habits, prioritizing physical health, and helping others. We outline five key approaches to overcoming burnout fear: seeking mentorship, identifying your current capacity and committing to grow it, differentiating between actual burnout and fear of hard work, developing an "I can" mentality, and breaking up with fear. The freedom comes not from avoiding stress but from building the capacity to handle more without being overwhelmed. This requires finding your limit, pressing against it, and allowing that threshold to expand. Rather than living in fear, choose to walk by faith—embracing the growth that comes through pressing your limits while maintaining wisdom about true self-care.What's your ceiling? And are you ready to raise it?GET THE BETTER MARRIAGE BOOTCAMP HERE:Better Marriage Bootcamp (kenandtabatha.com)Better Marriage 90-Day Devotional:90 Day Better Marriage Devotional - Ken and Tabatha (square.site)DOWNLOAD THE FAMILY MEETING OUTLINE HERE ⬇️https://www.kenandtabatha.com/pl/2148103888Support Our Ministry: https://myalivechurch.org/giveConnect with us:- Website:https://www.kenclaytor.comhttps://www.tabathaclaytor.comhttps://www.myalivechurch.org- Socials:Instagram -https://www.instagram.com/kenclaytor/https://www.instagram.com/tabathaclaytor/https://www.instagram.com/myalivechurch/TikTok-@Ken_Claytor@Tabathaclaytor@myalivechurchFacebook-https://www.facebook.com/PastorKenClaytorhttps://www.facebook.com/pastortabathaclaytorhttps://www.facebook.com/myalivechurch- Ask us questions: info@kenandtabatha.com

Having walked this path ourselves, we're pulling back the curtain on what it truly takes to support a spouse battling the darkness of depression.Tabatha shares her 12-year journey through severe depression that began in childhood following her father's death and experiences with abuse. The physical manifestations—debilitating migraines, panic attacks, insomnia—became as real as the emotional pain. Yet after finding spiritual healing at 24, she's experienced over two decades of complete freedom from these symptoms."Depression isn't occasional sadness—it's getting stuck, becoming debilitated by it," Tabatha explains. "It's not something you can simply snap out of." This misunderstanding often leads to shame and isolation for those suffering.Ken reveals his own unexpected battle with depression following church leadership challenges and betrayal from those close to him. During this dark season, Tabatha became his bridge to healing—not by forcing him out of depression, but by supporting his vision when he couldn't see it himself, gathering resources to help him move forward, and giving him space when needed. We explore the powerful connection between unforgiveness and depression, sharing how forgiveness became the key that unlocked Tabitha's healing. The spiritual dimensions of depression often go unaddressed in clinical settings, yet we've witnessed countless breakthroughs when both spiritual and natural interventions work together. For those supporting a depressed spouse: speak life, not criticism. Send us a textWould you want to live with you? This powerful question lies at the heart of Ken and Tabatha's wisdom-packed conversation about marriage and relationships. Drawing from over 24 years of marriage experience, they tackle the essential principle that life is simply too short to sweat the small stuff. The couple explores how our memories work – we remember wedding days and children's births, not dirty dishes or minor frustrations. Yet many marriages crumble over "irreconcilable differences" that partners can't even specifically recall years later. Through personal stories and biblical principles, Ken and Tabatha outline practical ways to focus on what truly matters. One fascinating distinction they unpack is the difference between mothering and wifely support. A mother hovers and dictates, while a wife comes alongside to support and uplift. They introduce the concept of "incubation" – how a wife can nurture her husband's vision like a seed, helping it grow through encouragement rather than criticism. This partnership approach allows both spouses to rise together, creating a marriage where both partners feel valued and respected.Kindness emerges as a central theme throughout their conversation. Ken and Tabitha challenge the notion that kindness equals weakness, pointing to scripture that shows how love "is not easily angered" and "keeps no record of wrongs." They suggest becoming a "CEO" – Chief Encouragement Officer – in your home, creating an atmosphere of celebration rather than criticism. The episode culminates with a beautiful exploration of 1 Corinthians 13, revealing how these ancient principles of love provide practical solutions for modern relationship challenges.Whether you're newlyweds or celebrating decades together, this episode offers transformative perspectives on creating a marriage filled with patience, kindness and mutual support. Navigating Grief: A Guide to Overcoming Loss and Finding Healing

Send us a textFacing the death of a loved one can shatter our world and challenge our deepest beliefs. When Ken's mother passed away after a four-year battle with cancer, he found himself wrestling with profound theological questions. Despite believing in divine healing and standing on promises from Scripture, his mom transitioned to heaven at age 69, leaving him to navigate complex emotions of grief, faith, and acceptance. This raw, heartfelt conversation explores the mystery of death from a biblical perspective, reframing it not as a fearful end but as a transition between realms. "I didn't lose her," Ken shares, "I know exactly where she is. She's with Jesus." For believers, death becomes less a tragedy and more a graduation—painful for those left behind but joyful for those who've entered eternity free from suffering.Tabatha vulnerably shares her own journey through the fear of death during her cancer battle, describing how studying near-death experiences and Scripture transformed her perspective. "I am not afraid to die," she testifies. "This is a promotion. This is someplace that we are all going." Their discussion demystifies what happens when we die, offering comfort through biblical truths that affirm continued existence, reunion with loved ones, and the promise of new bodies. The most powerful moment comes when Ken discusses Hebrews 11:13, which speaks of those who "died in faith, not having received the promise." His mother exemplified this—maintaining unwavering faith despite not seeing her healing manifested on earth. "I can't make a healing come," Ken reflects. "I'm the mailman; I deliver the package, but I can't make the package.
