Well everything from leveraging digital media, enhancing access to research collections, and reinforcing its role as the world's leading center for golf scholarship. Hilary has worked in some of the nation's leading museums, such as the Art Institute of Chicago and the Frick Collection in New York City. With all of this experience, she shared with us how she came upon the USGA and its museum as well as why she wanted to work there. We also talk about the storied history of women caring for and communicating golf history. For example, the Museum's first curator, Janet Seagle, led the Museum from 1963 to 1989 and women have been in leading roles ever since. I'll let Hilary take it from here, enjoy the conversation! - Abby
"I go with the same intensity as if I'm covering the Olympics. I want to do a great job no matter what, but it's fun [to capture] such a moment that people still talk about. It could happen anywhere." We welcome Maddie Meyer, a staff photographer at Getty Images, as our next Ladies of Golf interview. Maddie's assignments for Getty include covering the Patriots, Red Sox, Bruins and Celtics, among other sports. She has photographed the Olympic games in Rio and Pyeongchang, The Men's and Women's World Cups, the FINA World Swimming Championships, PGA TOUR and LPGA tournaments. Maddie shares her path to joining Getty, how she immerses herself into sports she hasn't played and how she captured that epic photo of Jordan Spieth and Michael Greller at the 2017 Travelers Championship.

Our 30th episode! Baby steps … Abby kicks off the episode with a Waste Management Phoenix Open short and sweet recap, followed by an interview with Jaye Marie Green. Jaye is a professional golfer on the LPGA Tour and her career has continued to trend upward since her 2014 rookie season. We talked about Jaye's decision to turn pro upon a successful amateur career and having her dad and brother as caddies. Jaye has faced obstacles in 2020, including a bike accident that required intense therapy, and she shared how that has changed her mindset into this year. Enjoy!
For this week's episode we welcomed professional golfer Marina Alex as our next Ladies of Golf feature. Marina is a LPGA Tour winner and was part of the 2019 U.S. Solheim Cup team.
