In this episode of The Birth Lounge Podcast, HeHe sits down with parenting science educator Violetta to unpack one of the biggest questions new parents face: how do you support your baby's development without falling into the trap of over-parenting? Together, they dive into what the research actually says about the first 12 to 24 months of life, including attachment, temperament, responsiveness, language development, and the everyday interactions that help shape a child's foundation. Violetta shares why so much parenting advice online misses the mark, how modern parenting culture often creates unnecessary pressure, and what parents really need to know about raising confident, securely attached children. HeHe and Violetta also explore the difference between being responsive and being overly responsive, how temperament influences the way children experience the world, and what secure attachment actually looks like across different ages and personalities. They discuss practical ways to support development during wake windows, encourage language and social skills, and build connection without feeling like you need to entertain your child every waking minute. The conversation wraps up with a thoughtful, research-informed discussion on daycare, sleep training, and the parenting decisions that often come with the most noise and judgment. If you've ever wondered how to support your baby's development without spiraling over every parenting choice, this episode is packed with evidence-based insights and reassurance. Before the arrest. Before the charges. Before Celeste Rivas Hernandez's name entered the conversation. D4VD sat in front of cameras and told the world exactly who he was — and everybody heard a success story. He said he lived “vicariously through other people.” He said he'd never experienced the feelings in his own music. He said he invented emotional scenarios and performed them so convincingly that millions believed they were real. He grew up homeschooled, recorded in a closet, and went from total isolation to billion-stream fame without ever learning how to navigate human connection outside of a screen. Those aren't accusations. Those are things David Anthony Burke told interviewers voluntarily, in his own voice, before anyone was investigating anything. This episode uses Burke's own publicly available words — alongside the prosecution's People's Brief — to trace the psychology that allegedly enabled what prosecutors describe: a year-long alleged double life, an alleged infrastructure of secrecy, and an alleged forty-eight-hour window after Celeste was allegedly killed during which Burke reportedly sat for a podcast interview, released an album, and attended a party. We examine the welfare check where law enforcement told Burke that Celeste was thirteen, the yearbook photo he allegedly had on his phone when they said it, and what prosecutors say he did next — allegedly paying a classmate a thousand dollars to smuggle a secret phone to her after her parents took hers away. His biggest song is “Romantic Homicide.” His album is Withered. His music video shows a body going into a trunk. According to prosecutors, the art was allegedly running parallel to reality the entire time.Burke has pleaded not guilty to all charges and maintains his innocence.Join Our SubStack For AD-FREE ADVANCE EPISODES & EXTRAS!: https://hiddenkillers.substack.com/ Want to comment and watch this podcast as a video? Welcome back to Dial Emma and to the third episode of this mini-series on reframes. This week, we hear from a listener who wonders if she is having a breakdown...while I wonder whether it's the first honest version of her life.In her own words, our 47-year-old listener feels as though she has 'blown up her life,' after ending her marriage of twenty years, moving into a rented house and trying to navigate midlife, dating apps and new identity as a single mother. Is freedom and autonomy just a false fantasy? Or is that collapse we feel after a big life shift simply evidence that we've stopped trying to maintain a life that doesn't fit?Dial Emma is hosted by Emma Reed Turrell, produced by Lauren Brook.---Social media:Emma Reed Turrell @emmareedturrellDial Emma @dialemmapodcastEmail: contact@dial-emma.uk

Hidden Killers With Tony Brueski | True Crime News & Commentary
She performed the role of successful entrepreneur, devoted wife, and grieving widow so convincingly that she landed a spot on local television to promote a children's grief book she paid a ghostwriter $2,500 to write. But behind Kouri Richins' carefully constructed image was a financial catastrophe — $7.5 million in debt, a business built on forged signatures and unauthorized credit lines, and a prenuptial agreement that turned her husband's death into the only viable exit strategy. In part one of our definitive five-part series, we trace the roots of a murder that began long before fentanyl ever entered the picture. From the Park City cleaning jobs that fueled her ambition to the estate planning attorney who testified about Eric's desperate efforts to protect his children, this episode maps the distance between who Kouri Richins pretended to be and who she actually was. Prosecutor Brad Bloodworth framed it in one devastating line: “Kouri Richins is an intensely ambitious person. She is a risk-taker. There was a way forward — Eric had to die.” The mask, the money, and the motive. This is where the story begins.Join Our SubStack For AD-FREE ADVANCE EPISODES & EXTRAS!: https://hiddenkillers.substack.com/Want to comment and watch this podcast as a video? What if 1 tiny shift could change your entire life? In this episode of The Healing + Human Potential Podcast, I sit down with intuition expert + bestselling author Laura Day to explore how intuition really works, why it is often misunderstood, and how one small shift can begin to change your life. Laura shares why "trust your gut" is not always the best advice, how to tell the difference between fear and true intuition, and why intuition is not vague or mystical, but immediate, practical, and actionable. We also explore how to use intuition to move toward your goals, break old patterns, and create different results. This conversation also touches on manifestation, early childhood conditioning, and why lasting change usually does not come from doing something dramatic, but from doing one small thing differently. If you have ever questioned your intuition, felt stuck in the same patterns, or wondered how to create real change in a way that actually feels doable, this episode offers a grounded and eye-opening perspective. === Guest Bio: New York Times bestselling author and teacher Laura Day has spent four decades using intuition to help individuals and billion-dollar companies alike identify and achieve their goals. She is the author of six previous books (including two New York Times bestsellers), among them Practical Intuition, The Circle, Welcome to Your Crisis, and How to Rule the World from Your Couch. A sought-after public speaker, Laura has been featured in publications including Forbes, The Guardian, New York, Newsweek, Cosmopolitan, Marie Claire, and People, and has appeared on CNN, the BBC, Good Morning America, The View, and The Oprah Winfrey Show, among many others. ==== Connect with Guest: https://lauraday.com/ https://www.facebook.com/lauradaycircle/ https://www.youtube.com/user/LauraDayCircle https://www.instagram.com/lauradayintuit === Want 3 Life-Changing Tools you can use on yourself (or your clients) from inside our Accredited Coaching Certification? Anna Gudmundson, CEO of Sensate, explores the intersection of technology, nervous system regulation, and human potential. From growing up in Northern Sweden with a deep curiosity for systems, to building a career in early-stage tech, Anna shares how she began to see her own behaviors as patterns—“bugs in her code”—that could be understood and improved. But everything changed when years of stress led to a complete breakdown in her health. What followed was a deep journey into functional medicine, meditation, breathwork, and nervous system awareness—ultimately reshaping how she lives, works, and leads. This conversation explores how to regulate your internal state in a chaotic world, why most people are operating far below their potential, and how combining ancient practices with modern technology may be the key to a more resilient future.Show Partners:Get your MENTAL FITNESS BLUEPRINT here! In this solo episode, I discuss the importance of identity in achieving personal change and breaking the cycle of failed goals. I emphasize that true transformation begins with altering one's self-image rather than merely focusing on actions. Today's episode is a long overdue catch-up. I'm finally sharing the fuller story of what happened in 2025: the year God completely flipped my life, my work, my identity, and my priorities upside down. If you've noticed that my content has shifted a lot over the last year, this is the why. For years, this podcast has felt like the most full expression of me. Faith, motherhood, politics, wellness, the Bible, all of it. But Instagram had become heavily political. Eventually, the very work I thought was most important started costing me more than I realized, my peace, my presence, my family, and honestly, my soul. In this episode, I'm sharing the story of how God began asking me to do something that felt harder than any "jump" of obedience He'd ever asked of me before: sit down, pull back, do less, trust Him, and let Him carry what I had been trying to hold together myself. We talk about: how political content became my full-time work the moment I realized my priorities were deeply out of order what disobedience looked like in real time why 2025 felt like my "belly of the whale" year the vision God gave me that changed everything identity, striving, motherhood, and learning to be a daughter before a warrior why I stepped back from politics online what God has been rebuilding in me ever since This one is personal. It's vulnerable. And it's probably the clearest picture I've given yet of the shift God has been walking me through. If you're in a season where God is asking you to slow down, let go, or trust Him in ways you do not like, this episode is for you. For years, I've had notes, to-do lists, and plans scattered across notebooks everywhere. Recently, I went back in time (to 2018 when the bullet journal scene was poppin') and started listening to the book The Bullet Journal Method by Ryder Carroll. Now, I've used bullet journals before (mostly as a creative outlet and habit tracker), but I've honestly never used the official method intended to be a true productivity system. This has truly been one of the most effective shifts I've made in a while. It's a minimal, practical system that brings your tasks, plans, goals, and thoughts into one place. In this episode, I'm walking through how it works, why it's so different from traditional planning, and how you can use it in a really simple way (no art skills required). You'll also hear about the spreads I'm using and why. SEE MORE▷ Watch this episode on YouTube▷ Declutter Your First Room Blueprint▷ Shop my home

Sometimes it's not the noise. It's not the hype. It's not even the big breakthrough. It's one sentence that lands at the right time. In this episode, I share the one thing I heard in church that changed my life — and why it might be exactly what you need to hear right now. We talk about: • The difference between knowing faith and living faith • Obedience over emotion • Why alignment matters more than comfort • Trusting God when nothing makes sense • Letting go of control • Surrender as strength, not weakness • What it really means to walk by faith Sometimes growth isn't about doing more. It's about surrendering deeper. Sometimes the breakthrough isn't outside of you. It's in your willingness to listen. In this episode, I'm diving into something that I've been thinking about a lot lately how the decisions that end up changing your entire life usually don't feel big in the moment. So often we think our life is going to change because of one huge decision or one dramatic turning point. But when I look back at my own life; my marriage, my career, starting empowerHER, investing in real estate .... the things that shaped everything were actually tiny decisions that compounded over time.In this episode, we talk about why you don't need the entire plan to move forward, why curiosity can be enough reason to take action, and how small, mildly uncomfortable choices can quietly change the entire trajectory of your life.If you've been putting pressure on yourself to have everything figured out before you start, I think this conversation will feel like a bit of an exhale.A question to reflect on after this episodeWhat small decision might quietly change your life right now?Maybe it's starting something you've been thinking about.Reaching out to someone you admire.Applying for something you feel unqualified for.Having a conversation you've been avoiding.Or saying yes to something that scares you just a little.Whatever it is, you don't need to have it all figured out. You just need to get the train on the tracks. Rooting so hard for you!

Dave Evans is an entrepreneur, early Apple engineer, former Electronic Arts executive, Stanford lecturer, and author. How does someone genuinely find meaning in their life? We're often told that when things feel empty, uncertain, or painful, the answer is to “find more meaning”. But what does that actually mean? Is meaning something we discover, like a hidden truth waiting to be uncovered? Or is it something we construct through choice, responsibility, and attention? Expect to learn what people actually mean when we're talking about meaning, the problem people are actually trying to solve when they say they want meaning, how to engineer more meaning into your life, what the difference between the problem-solving world and the meaning-making world is, what the red herrings are in terms of meaning, why so many people become objectively successful and subjectively miserable and much more… Sponsors: See discounts for all the products I use and recommend: https://chriswillx.com/deals Get up to $350 off the Pod 5 at https://eightsleep.com/modernwisdom Get a free bottle of D3K2, an AG1 Welcome Kit, and more when you first subscribe at https://ag1.info/modernwisdom Get a Free Sample Pack of LMNT's most popular flavours with your first purchase at https://drinklmnt.com/modernwisdom Get up to $50 off the RP Hypertrophy App at https://rpstrength.com/modernwisdom - Get Dave Evans' new Book - 'How to Live A Meaningful Life' here: https://designingyourlife.link/how-to-live-a-meaningful-life/chris - Extra Stuff: Get my free reading list of 100 books to read before you die: https://chriswillx.com/books Try my productivity energy drink Neutonic: https://neutonic.com/modernwisdom Episodes You Might Enjoy: #577 - David Goggins - This Is How To Master Your Life: https://tinyurl.com/43hv6y59 #712 - Dr Jordan Peterson - How To Destroy Your Negative Beliefs: https://tinyurl.com/2rtz7avf #700 - Dr Andrew Huberman - The Secret Tools To Hack Your Brain: https://tinyurl.com/3ccn5vkp - Get In Touch: Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/chriswillx Twitter: https://www.twitter.com/chriswillx YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/modernwisdompodcast Email: https://chriswillx.com/contact - Learn more about your ad choices.
