Two mediocre white guys, recall and review classic movies of the past and present. Try to imagine a conversation you might have with a 90s era video store clerk about what you should watch tonight. We WILL tackle films that won't often be discussed as Oscar worthy but are always considered entertaining. We will argue, agree and attempt to mimic accents of the most classic one liners and movie tropes. Come prepared to laugh and it is ALWAYS a good idea to listen after you have seen the film and not before.
The "I Will See You in Hell" podcast reviewed Con Air (1997), an action film about a hijacked prisoner transport plane. The hosts recalled their initial enjoyment, praising the action, comedy, characters, and Bubba's presence, while criticizing Cage's accent and the Vegas ending. They discussed potential winners of "The Bill Paxton Award" for memorable supporting actors and whether Con Air was career-defining for the main cast (likely only for Chappelle). An AI-generated sequel synopsis, Con Air 2: Skyjacked Justice, involves Poe retaking a hijacked plane of cybercriminals. Trivia mentioned Stallone/Russell declining Poe, the film's dedication to a deceased effects artist, Vegas filming at the Sands, marshals' lack of endorsement, Malkovich turning down Air Force One, the film shifting Malkovich to criminal roles, low-flying plane concerns, and the Oscar/Razzie-nominated song.
Ollie and Nathan thoroughly enjoyed revisiting this early 2000's classic. Ollie share's stories of a recent screening where he got to participate in a Q&A with the actual cast from the film.
Nathan and Ollie have danced around covering this amazing, but controversial, film for years. The time finally came to discuss it. Both Nathan and Ollie decided to watch the director's cut in hopes of it having LESS of the awkward and MASSIVELY inappropriate story line. Unfortunately, the opposite was true. The film is still remarkable and worth watching and discussing. Let us know what you think.
Nathan and Ollie manage to get one more episode in before Christmas. They compare it to other Christmas movies and to other Vacation films. This might have been one of the easiest ever films to pick the Bill Paxton winner.
Nathan and Ollie welcome die hard Tron fan, Donavin, to the show to discuss this 1982 computer generated classic. We discuss the first time we saw this classic, how we like now and how it compares to the latest iteration of Tron films.

Ollie convinced Nathan to try this movie and he actually enjoyed it!! The fellas dive into this dark comedy and debate whether it should or could be considered a horror film.
Nathan and Ollie welcome a new guest to the show this week. Brian joins us straight from the pickleball courts to dive into his FAVORITE Quentin Tarantino film, Jackie Brown. We go deep into the joy of this remarkable film.
The fellas revisit one of their favorite directors, Quinton Tarantino. Nathan and Ollie dig deep in to this early 2000's samurai inspired epic with Uma Thurman in the title role. The discussion eventually evolves into a reevaluation of their top QT films.
The fellas welcome back Chris to talk about the NEWEST version of the cult classic, Road House. Ollie is totally correct in his views and Nathan and Chris were both wrong.. Enjoy!!
This is a fun discussion as Nathan and Ollie actually went to see this movie together. We had intended to post this around the Oscars but life happened. --- Send in a voice message: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/seeyouinhell/message
After a long hiatus, the boys are back to discuss ALL of the Dune films. Nathan's brother and buddy are welcomed back for this fun discussion. --- Send in a voice message: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/seeyouinhell/message
It is hard to believe but Nathan had actually never seen this classic 1984 adventure film. We talk about what made us nostalgic and how the special effects could likely have been achieved with the very first iphone. It was a fun movie and a fun discussion. --- Send in a voice message: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/seeyouinhell/message

We hope you like random saxophone solos. There is plenty to be had with this late 80s buddy cop classic. This is for sure the first movie I remember that included Gary Busey and definitely not his best. --- Send in a voice message: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/seeyouinhell/message
The fellas finally publish an episode where they discuss the BEST Indiana Jones movie by far. The most entertaining, the most re-watchable and probably the funniest of the bunch? --- Send in a voice message: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/seeyouinhell/message
This is one of those amazing Arnold films that was hilarious and filled with awesome action. This also had one of the greatest Bill Paxton parts of ALL TIME. --- Send in a voice message: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/seeyouinhell/message
After a couple of failed attempts to get together to talk about this AMAZING COMEDY, Nathan and Ollie finally tuck in to this hilarious movie. This might be the last great ensemble comedy that was made fearlessly. I hope we are wrong as it is INCREDIBLE and we wish there were more of these. --- Send in a voice message: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/seeyouinhell/message
After TOO LONG of a break, the boys are back to discuss the 1997 franchise launching classic, Mission Impossible. The fellas welcome back Tony and Ollie's cousin all the way from Scotland to discuss this game changing movie, Die Hard. There have been many attempts to capture this magic on a plane, a train, a bus, at the White House and yet nothing has come close to the most unfortunate company Holiday party of all time. Enjoy Nathan being wrong again about how this IS a Christmas movie. --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/seeyouinhell/message
Horror is not a genre that Ollie even enjoys but it turns out that Nathan actually studied it in college. In 1996 Wes Craven relaunched the category with this near flawless slasher film. When we both saw this movie, neither of us predicted the clever ending and the only negative we found was that this movie spawned TOO many sequels. --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/seeyouinhell/message
It is impossible to think this movie was made in 1981. Nathan and Ollie dig into the best parts of this Spielberg epic and talk about what makes this character and story so good. This movie could be released today and be just as successful. They didn't have CGI so they had to try to make great characters and story without all of the toys. --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/seeyouinhell/message
Nathan and Ollie go deep into the insanely silly plot of this 1993 Sly Stallone romp. We wonder how it is possible that climbing equipment that can hold over 1,000 Lbs failed while holding up a woman that might have weighed 120 Lbs? --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/seeyouinhell/message
The fella's welcome back our good friend, Tony, to discuss this Val Kilmer / Ron Howard / Warwick Davis classic. Tony does tons of great research on the history of this movie and he brings all the best stuff to the conversation. --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/seeyouinhell/message
The very first film we ever covered was the 1987 classic, Predator. Nathan and Ollie were thrilled to be able to revisit this character with the INCREDIBLE new Hulu film, Prey. We wonder why they didn't release it in theaters as the action and scenery is that good. --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/seeyouinhell/message
Not much needs to be said... this movie is incredible. We welcome Jason back to discuss it and were surprised to learn that he would have enjoyed it more if he actually knew it was about the Manson murders. --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/seeyouinhell/message

Nathan, Ollie and Jason get together to dig into one of the great modern classic action movies, John Wick. We talk in detail about the world that was created for this amazing story and how it is a rare fact that the sequels are actually pretty damn good. --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/seeyouinhell/message
Long overdue posting of this 2013 action adventure. As usual, I loved it and Nathan hated it. At least he is consistent. --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/seeyouinhell/message
Long overdue conversation about this beach volleyball movie. Nathan and Ollie welcome Lau back to discuss this classic. --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/seeyouinhell/message

We got off of our typical era with this one. Ollie convinced Nathan to give this movie a shot and he actually didn't hate it. It was a great movie and gave the boys an opportunity to talk about one of the most exciting directors currently working, Denis Villeneuve. --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/seeyouinhell/message

Nathan accepts the challenge of watching this Tom Clancy story from the early 90s. To Ollie's great surprise, he doesn't hate the movie for not having any wizards, potions, trolls or hobbits. --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/seeyouinhell/message
This movie set the standard for humor and comedy that occurs in modern office environments. It is easily one of the most quoted movies of all time and we all know the frustration and emotion of "PC Load Letter". --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/seeyouinhell/message
After a longer than expected break, the boys are back talking about the 1999 film, The Matrix. This was the movie that everyone owned on DVD and EVERYONE used to show off their new sound system. We welcome back Nathan's brother to discuss what pill we would pick. --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/seeyouinhell/message
Any movie that can be played on repeat every Christmas and STILL be entertaining is worth a watch. Nathan grumbles but I know he likes movie better than he lets on. I also believe he probably had one of those bunny suits when he was a kid. --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/seeyouinhell/message
We rarely dive into Coen brothers films and many might have suspected we would start with Big Lebowski. However, we decided to reach way back to discuss this FANTASTIC comedy that was only made successful with the casting of Mr. Nicholas Cage. Is this his best ever?? Likely. --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/seeyouinhell/message
We jump back in to talk about one of the best Tarantino films and talk at length of our admiration for Mr. Waltz who is absolutely flawless in this film. The opening sequence of this film is easily one of the most impressive character building scenes in recent memory. --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/seeyouinhell/message
Some incredible high quality action movies came out in 1990, this was NOT one of them. Despite its flaws, it is delightful enough to discuss for about an hour. --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/seeyouinhell/message
Even though this film is a period piece set in an era that neither Nathan and myself existed, it captures the essential joy of being in High school that relates to our own experience in the early 90s. It artfully captures what was important at that time, like being obsessed with finding beer, discovering purpose, surviving hazing, learning what Martha Washington did for her husband George. --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/seeyouinhell/message
This is arguably one of the best summer blockbuster movies of all time. Nathan and Ollie get into a healthy debate if this is perhaps a "perfect" film. As usual, Ollie wins the argument. --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/seeyouinhell/message

Wow.... What an incredible and ambitious film for 1984. The fellas welcome back Nathan's brother plus Rob, a DND friend of theirs, to discuss this remarkable movie. 3 of the 4 people on this podcast had read the books and Ollie still managed to throw in the occasional insight or two. ALL 4 are super excited to see this movie re-imagined in a couple weeks with the release of the 2021 look at the subject. This discussion so in depth we have broken the episode into two parts. See you next week for Part 2! --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/seeyouinhell/message
The boys are back talking Arnold... We mostly agree on everything in this EPIC FILM from the 90s. The group agreed that only one major cast change might have been appreciated.
