    Ivy Insights

The New England Legends Podcast is an incredible show that delves into the rich history and folklore of the New England region. As someone living in Quebec City, only two hours away from beautiful Maine, I was immediately hooked after just one episode. The hosts, Jeff and Ray, deliver the stories in a way that is not only entertaining but also informative. They have a casual and natural delivery that is contagious, making it easy to get caught up in the tales they share. Additionally, their shared French last names and the fact that they are based in New England create a sense of connection for me as a listener.

One of the best aspects of this podcast is the storytelling itself. Jeff and Ray are professionals when it comes to narrating these legends. Their voices are engaging, and they incorporate sound effects that help to paint a vivid picture for listeners. The stories are well-researched and cover a range of topics, from paranormal encounters to historical events. Whether you have an interest in the supernatural or simply enjoy learning about local history, there is something for everyone in this podcast.

Another great aspect of The New England Legends Podcast is its educational value. Each episode provides insights into the history of New England and uncovers lesser-known legends that have shaped the region's identity. As someone who loves learning about different places, this podcast has piqued my curiosity about visiting some of these locations myself. It serves as both entertainment and inspiration for future travels.

While it's difficult to find any major drawbacks with this podcast, some episodes may be too short for those looking for longer stories or deeper dives into specific legends. However, this can also be seen as a positive aspect since it allows listeners to consume multiple episodes at once without getting overwhelmed or bored.

In conclusion, The New England Legends Podcast is an amazing show that combines storytelling with history and folklore. Jeff and Ray are excellent hosts who not only entertain but also educate their audience on the rich tapestry of legends that make up the New England region. This podcast is a must-listen for anyone interested in the paranormal, local history, or simply looking for an entertaining and educational experience.

The baby's pregnant mother dove in to try and save him, but also drowned in her frantic attempt. These British sailors didn't know it at the time, but this woman was the wife of Chief Squando, a powerful sorcerer. And the children were his.
