    Ivy Insights

The Probably Science podcast is a hidden gem in the podcasting world. With its unique blend of humor and science, it has quickly become one of my favorite shows to listen to. The hosts, Andy Wood and Matt Kirshen, have incredibly likable personalities that make for an enjoyable listening experience. Additionally, they often have fantastic guests on the show, ranging from comedians to scientists I've never heard of before. One episode is all it took for me to become hooked and start bingeing their entire back catalogue.

One of the best aspects of The Probably Science podcast is its ability to seamlessly combine humor with insightful scientific information. The hosts bring a witty and lighthearted approach to discussing complex topics, making it both entertaining and educational. I appreciate that they don't shy away from going down rabbit trails during their discussions as some of the funniest moments happen during these tangents. The show covers a wide range of topics, from dire wolves to psilocybin, ensuring there's always something interesting to learn about.

While the enthusiasm and passion for discovery in this podcast is commendable, sometimes the excitement can get carried away and lead to disorganized discussions. It would be beneficial if the hosts were able to rein in their excitement at times and provide a more structured approach to their episodes. Additionally, some listeners may find that certain episodes only provide cursory appraisals of topics, leaving them wanting more in-depth exploration.

In conclusion, The Probably Science podcast is a fun-filled journey into the world of science with a comedic twist. Its ability to entertain while providing informative content is what sets it apart from other podcasts out there. While there may be room for improvement in terms of organization and depth of discussion, overall it remains an enjoyable and worthwhile listen for anyone interested in science or simply looking for a good laugh.
