We are all so excited to present this brand new episode. The first of 2023! We follow RedGrin from House's hallowed halls to the planet of Akhatainia; this time accompanied by Jamie Mortima, Robin Marek, Johnny Marek, Lana Marek, Hunter McCarthy and Greyson Wolf in an attempt to obtain the keys to Grandma Grin's survival! This story is, of course, the third part of the Grandma Grin story arc. But,  narratively and in terms of event chronology, this story is also a direct follow up to the Mystery Guessed event, featuring the Marek family, that also feature in this episode. The mid season finale, "An Epilogue in November", was the conclusion of the SleepDoctor Event. A story set before the events of "Grandma Grin - Part 1".And so, "Grandma Grin - Part III", is the culmination of all of these aforementioned stories. Even  the not previously mentioned  "Outlaw Country"... but that comes next month! ;) In all honesty, this one is a bit of a bit of a slow burn. At least the first half, given the amount of characters present within the story. However, we did also consider that we've  been off for two months, so this is really two episodes in one! Welcome to the mid season finale, Listeners! The show will be back in February next year, where we shall be returning to stories involving Grandma Grin and the Outlaw Country crew! We're super excited that the show has made it this far and we couldn't do it without your amazing support!Extra Timeline DetailsFor all those who are new to the show, perhaps you found us at the beginning of the continuation of the SleepDoctor event, and went back to part 1 to catch up, maybe you're an avid Listner that just wants to know a bit more, or get a few confirmations on the chronology of the VC timeline.  Whatever the case, its no secret that this show's narrative is not necessarily always presented in chronological order. It's a timey-wimey show, so that's only fair!This certain kind of narrative presentation holds true for the SleepDoctor event especially, given that the events of SleepDoctor (SD) part 1 begins the story (obviously) but elements of part 1, ie, the ending of the story were presented in episode 2 of the series. We didn't come back to this story for a while because we wanted to get it right, but we thought it would be cool to set the events in the remaining parts of SD, parts 2 to 5, which were recently released back to back, IN BETWEEN the third and fourth episode of the series: Outlaw Country pt. 1 and Grandma Grin part 1. In a nutshell, the events of SleepDoctor take place in between episodes 3 and 4 of the series. So, if you found us at the latter half of this event then you'll be lopped back around to episode 4. Might give you a unique perspective on the narrative! Furthermore,  the stories that follow Grandma Grin pt 2, Mystery Guessed and Future's Fate in Time take place after the SleepDoctor event, narratively speaking, of course. I'll be honest, the show file became corrupted and it happened yesterday; and given that at least half a week is needed to record and edit an episode of VC, I've had to make the choice to do a shorter episode this time around that was easier to put together in a short space of time so that my Angels have something to tide them over.
