Unia Europejska ustanawiając wspólny rynek i wspólną strefę celną, wspierając rolnictwo zapewniła 450 milionom Europejczyków, w tym Polakom, dobrobyt niespotykany w ich historii i twardo negocjowała z USA warunki handlowe.
