In this first episode of Season 4, you will meet Haja Isatu Bah, Founder of Uman4Uman, which serves girls in Sierra Leone by providing sustainable menstrual supplies and education. Almost half of the girls in third world countries miss school monthly due to period poverty and eventually drop out. Sustainable pads and education are needed to end this cycle and allow these girls to become the leaders of tomorrow.  As we start the new year, this is a great opportunity to build awareness on the struggles and barriers to empowerment that girls face around the world and also to learn how you can help.  Start the new year off right by choosing to run a race with ARC to benefit  Uman4Uman. ARC's website (www.activeresoluteconnected.com) has all the details on how to create a fundraising page or you can simply register for a race and make a private donation on your own. The founder of the Rise Resolute Podcast, Gina Meyer, will be running races throughout the year and making a donation each time to help end period poverty! Follow her on IG @riseresolute to find out how you can join in virtually. Become empowered by empowering other women and girls around the world. Happy 2022!
