Winter slips off like last season's coat, leaving only light, skin, and possibility. Spring 2026 steps in—tailored, radiant, and just a little bit irresistible.“GO Moving Towards Spring ” is a meditation on thawing — the quiet, necessary melting of winter's emotional frost. After a season of personal stillness, isolation, and reflection, January becomes a landscape of frozen habits and lingering fears ready to dissolve. Like nature preparing beneath the soil, we begin stirring things inside, shedding heaviness, releasing what no longer belongs to us, and turning instinctively toward warmth. Spring does not ask permission to arrive — it simply does — reminding us that movement is not optional, but elemental to being alive.Inspired by the rhythm of the seasons and the elegance of fashion's perpetual reinvention, this episode explores transformation as both survival and art form. Just as a runway silhouette flows forward without hesitation, we are invited to step into light with intention and glamour, carried by renewal's momentum. The world is already changing color, already softening, already moving — and so must we. We are almost there, just about to bloom. Spring approaches like a promise we are meant to walk toward, beautifully and without fear. -SG

As a new year begins, it is easy to fall into the trap of resolutions rooted in self-reliance, perfectionism, and shame. In this episode, John and Victor talk honestly about why those approaches fail and why true renewal does not come from reinventing ourselves by our own effort, but from allowing God to convert and restore us to who we were created to be. Find a healthier way to approach 2026 by grounding life in identity, choosing accompaniment over isolation, and committing to daily surrender. If you are tired of chasing change that never lasts, this conversation will help you shift your focus away from worldly resolutions and toward real restoration by moving steadily, intentionally, and humbly toward God. Drawn Towards the Center (John 12:20–33) - Pastor Donnell Wyche - a2cc.org. Watch our livestream Sundays @ 11:00am - vimeo.com/annarborcommunitychurch  Summary: In this second sermon of the 2026 series Moving Towards the Center, Pastor Donnell Wyche invites the congregation to reflect on faith in a chaotic and fear-filled world. Building on the Epiphany theme of attentiveness, he reminds listeners that the Spirit of God does not operate through fear or coercion, but through presence, desire, and attraction. Gathering together, he says, is itself an act of resistance to isolation and despair, a declaration that we are not alone as God continues to unfold a larger story of grace, belonging, and transformation. Turning to John 12:20–33, Pastor Donnell centers the sermon on Jesus' words, “When I am lifted up from the earth, I will draw all people to myself.” He highlights the significance of the Greeks—outsiders—who come simply saying, “We wish to see Jesus.” Their honest desire becomes a sign that God's work is expanding beyond insiders and boundaries. Jesus does not offer them easy answers or rigid rules; instead, he orients them toward himself. Faith, Pastor Donnell explains, is not about mastering ideas or guarding lines, but about being drawn into relationship with the living Christ who awakens desire rather than enforcing compliance. The sermon culminates in a vision of “centered faith”: a life shaped not by fear of crossing boundaries, but by movement toward Jesus over time. Pastor Donnell challenges listeners to shift the core question of faith from “Am I good enough?” to “What direction is my life heading?” Growth, he reminds us, is uneven and imperfect, but faithfulness is found in leaning forward, trusting that Christ is strong enough, loving enough, and alive enough to draw us closer. The invitation is simple and hopeful: you do not have to be finished, certain, or complete—only willing to move toward the center.

We are finally seeing genuine momentum. This week, Bethany and Brian report being in a "good space," having successfully navigated a conflict without spiraling into a negative cycle for the first time in weeks. You'll hear how Bethany paused to articulate her intent, allowing Brian to truly hear her rather than react. This session focuses on solidifying that win through somatic work—helping Brian's nervous system physically "install" the feeling of peace . We also revisit Bethany's "badass" comment to uncover the deep shame she has carried regarding her financial infidelity. She admits that feeling "flawed" led her to hide her true self . The breakthrough comes when her vulnerability is met not with anger, but with validation, proving they are finally building a positive cycle. This week's prompt: Recall a recent moment where you felt truly heard or understood by your partner. Close your eyes, bring that memory to mind, and notice: what physically happens in your body? Does your chest loosen? Does your breath deepen? Practice feeling that safety. Interview with Niël Pretorius, CEO of DRDGOLD Ltd.Our previous interview: https://www.cruxinvestor.com/posts/gold-strategic-vision-vs-market-hype-how-mining-leaders-navigate-cycles-7468Recording date: 29th October 2025DRDGOLD represents an unusual opportunity in the gold sector—a company that has paid dividends for 18 consecutive years without interruption, maintained a debt-free balance sheet through multiple commodity cycles, and is currently funding a transformative expansion entirely from operating cash flows. For investors seeking gold exposure through operational discipline rather than exploration speculation, DRDGOLD's business model warrants serious attention. The Johannesburg-based company, listed on both the JSE and NYSE with a market capitalization exceeding $2 billion, operates a distinctive business extracting gold from mine tailings—the waste material from historical mining operations. Current production runs between 100,000-155,000 ounces annually from two main operations: Ergo and Far West Gold. Success in this business depends entirely on processing massive volumes at the lowest possible cost, requiring relentless operational efficiency.CEO Niël Pretorius emphasizes a critical operational philosophy: "We don't gauge our efficiency on the basis of dollar per ounce. We gauge our efficiency on the basis of rand per ton." This focus on unit costs per ton processed rather than per ounce produced enables profitable operations across wider gold price ranges. As head grades inevitably decline when mining tailings, controlling costs per ton processed becomes the only sustainable path forward. Strategic investments in renewable energy—including a solar farm and battery storage at Ergo—have reduced power costs by 9-15 rand per ton, demonstrating management's commitment to continuous efficiency gains.DRDGOLD is currently executing Vision 2028, its most significant capital investment program. The initiative includes three major projects: extending Ergo operations with new infrastructure including the Withok tailings facility, expanding the DP2 plant to double processing capacity to 1.2 million tons monthly, and constructing an 800-hectare Regional Tailings Storage Facility—one of the largest in South Africa—capable of holding more than 800 million tons of mine residue. These projects will establish infrastructure for processing 3 million tons monthly and increase production to approximately 200,000 ounces annually by 2028-2029.The financial execution is particularly impressive. Vision 2028 requires $100-120 million in annual capital expenditure, dramatically higher than the company's typical sustaining capital of approximately 5% of cash operating costs. When designed, management anticipated requiring debt financing during peak capital periods. However, the gold price rally enabled funding the entire program from cash flows while maintaining the debt-free balance sheet and even doubling recent dividend payments. Upon completion, sustaining capital requirements will return to historical levels, substantially improving free cash flow generation.Beyond current operations, DRDGOLD is positioning for two growth opportunities: regional consolidation of nearby tailings operations leveraging existing infrastructure, and environmental restoration services for global mining companies. The restoration concept involves reprocessing mine tailings and depositing material into exhausted open pits, addressing the industry's escalating mine closure challenge while potentially generating economic returns. Management is actively engaging with operators of mature open-pit projects worldwide.Pretorius articulated the company's value proposition candidly: "Our value proposition is one of asset optimization. So we have a very large asset base. We can process at a particular rate, and our efforts are towards putting in the infrastructure to do that for as long as we possibly can and not leaving any value behind." This embedded resilience—prioritizing stability and longevity over speculative growth—has enabled uninterrupted dividend payments through commodity cycles and positions DRDGOLD as a disciplined, operationally focused investment in the gold sector. For investors seeking gold exposure through proven management, operational excellence, production growth, and financial discipline without exploration risk or acquisition-driven volatility, DRDGOLD presents a compelling case built on 18 years of demonstrated resilience.View DRDGOLD's company profile: https://www.cruxinvestor.com/companies/drdgold-limitedSign up for Crux Investor: https://cruxinvestor.com

Contact the radio station or leave a review on your favorite app. We want to hear from you! ⸻ Multiplication Thinking Part 1: The Power of the Questions We Ask (Vision & Theology) Theme: Questions reveal what we believe about God's mission, our role, and the future. ** 1. Why Questions Matter **  Questions expose vision (or the lack of it) Show how “addition” questions limit scope vs. “multiplication” questions which expand possibilities.  Example: “How many people can I gather?” (Level 2 thinking) vs. “How many disciple-makers can I release?” (Level 4-5 thinking). .The Five Levels of Church Mutiplication 1.subtraction 2. Plateau 3.addition 4. Reproducing 5. Multiplication . *** 2. The Five Levels of Leadership (from Hero Maker) ***  • Level 1: I count (thinking addition, personal results).  • Level 2: I count what I do (improving programs).  • Level 3: I count what we do together (team success).  • Level 4: I count leaders I raise up (reproduction).  • Level 5: I count leaders who multiply leaders (movement/multiplication).  • Use examples of how each level asks progressively bigger questions. *** 3. Biblical and Theological Foundation *** .  • Jesus modeled multiplication: He invested in 12 → sent 72 → great commission to all.  • Paul's instruction to Timothy: “Entrust to reliable people who will also be qualified to teach others” (2 Tim. 2:2).  • The kingdom grows like a seed — designed for multiplication, not maintenance (parable of the mustard seed, yeast in the dough). *** 4. Why Maintenance Mindset is Dangerous ***  • It keeps leaders in survival mode (protecting what is).  • It makes ministries inward-focused rather than kingdom-focused.  • Ultimately, it limits generational impact. ***  5. Challenge: ***  • What questions are you currently asking in your ministry?  • Are they addition questions or multiplication questions?  • (Good interactive moment: invite participants to write down their top 2 questions they ask about ministry and assess what “level” they reflect.) ⸻ **(00:00) END PART 1** **(27:00 – 5:00) BEGIN PART 2* Part 2: Asking Multiplication Questions  Leaders at every level can shift from addition to multiplication by the questions they ask. *** 1. Shifting the Question at Every Level of Leadership*** .  • Sunday school teacher: Instead of “How many kids will show up?” ask “How many kids can I equip to share their faith?”  • Deacon/volunteer leader: Instead of “How do I fill this need?” ask “Who can I invite and empower to step into leadership?”  • Pastor: Instead of “How do we grow this church?” ask “How do we plant churches and send leaders?”  • Church planter: Instead of “How do I build this church strong?” ask “How do I build this to multiply from the start?” *** 2. Practical Multiplication Questions to Introduce***  • Who am I discipling right now?  • Who could they disciple next?  • What leaders am I raising up?  • Who in my ministry could replace me if I left tomorrow?  • What's stopping me from giving more away? *** 3. Tools & Practices to Reinforce Multiplication Thinking***  • Permission-giving: Start saying “You can do this” more often.  • Scorecards: Redefine success — not just how many are attending, but how many are multiplying.  • Apprenticing model: Always have someone learning beside you. *** 4. Case Studies / Stories***  • Share short stories of multiplication in action (a teacher who trained kids to lead, a church that planted another church, a small group that reproduced).  • Highlight that multiplication is possible at every level, not just at the top. *** 5. Closing Challenge & Vision Casting***  • Ask participants: “If every leader here multiplied themselves once in the next 2 years, what would happen in our church and community?”  • Cast vision for generational leadership: thinking in terms of “spiritual grandchildren.”  • Call them to choose one multiplication question they'll start asking this week. *** 6. Sample Multiplication vs. Maintenance Questions*** Sunday School Teachers  • Maintenance: How many kids will show up this week?  • Multiplication: Which kids can I disciple so they can share their faith with others?  • Multiplication: Who could I apprentice as a future teacher? ⸻ Deacons  • Maintenance: How do we meet the needs of our members better?  • Multiplication: Who else can we raise up to serve so more people are empowered?  • Multiplication: How do we multiply servant leaders, not just serve needs? ⸻ Sound Booth / Tech Team  • Maintenance: How do I make sure the sound and slides run smoothly this Sunday?  • Multiplication: Who can I train so they can run sound in the future?  • Multiplication: How do we multiply tech leaders so new services, campuses, or ministries can launch equipped? ⸻ Worship Leaders  • Maintenance: How do we sound better this Sunday?  • Multiplication: Who in the band or congregation can I mentor to lead worship in the future?  • Multiplication: How do we multiply worship leaders so that every group, gathering, or church plant has someone to lead? ⸻ Pastors  • Maintenance: How do we grow this church bigger?  • Multiplication: How do we raise up pastors and church planters from within?  • Multiplication: Who are my “Timothys” that I'm intentionally training to multiply leaders? ⸻ Church Planters  • Maintenance: How do I make this church strong and healthy?  • Multiplication: How do I plant in such a way that this church will plant another church within 3 years?  • Multiplication: How do I build a culture of sending from the very beginning? ⸻ General “Every Leader” Questions  • Maintenance: How do I succeed in my role?  • Multiplication: Who am I apprenticing to take my place?  • Multiplication: Who are my spiritual grandchildren — the people being discipled by those I discipled? ⸻ ***  7. Progression of Questions: From Addition to Multiplication*** Level 1: I Count (self-focused)  • How am I doing?  • Did I do a good job teaching / leading / serving?  • Did people like what I did today? (Example: A sound booth worker asks, “Did I get the slides right?”) ⸻ Level 2: I Count What I Do (program-focused)  • How many people showed up to my class, service, or ministry?  • How can I make this better for those who attend?  • Did the event/service/program run smoothly? (Example: A Sunday school teacher asks, “How many kids are in my class this week?”) ⸻ Level 3: I Count What We Do Together (team-focused)  • How is our team doing?  • How can we grow this ministry bigger or better together?  • How can we serve more people as a team? (Example: A deacon asks, “How can our deacon team meet more needs this year?”) ⸻ Level 4: I Count Leaders I Raise Up (reproduction-focused)  • Who am I apprenticing right now?  • Who could I trust to lead if I wasn't here?  • How can I release more people into ministry and leadership? (Example: A worship leader asks, “Who in the band can I mentor to lead a worship set?”) ⸻ Level 5: I Count Leaders Who Multiply Leaders (movement-focused)  • Who are my spiritual grandchildren — the leaders raised up by the leaders I've discipled?  • How do we create a culture where leaders naturally multiply leaders?  • How can we measure success by kingdom expansion, not just local growth? (Example: A pastor asks, “Who are the church planters being trained by the leaders I've already raised up?”) ⸻ ✅ Progression Summary (for a slide or handout):  • Level 1–2 questions: focus on me and my ministry.  • Level 3 questions: focus on our ministry team.  • Level 4 questions: focus on leaders I raise.  • Level 5 questions: focus on leaders who raise leaders.   **(1:00)**  What kinds of questions are you asking? Do your answers move you toward reproduction and multiplication or do they keep you stuck in the status quo? I know what kind of questions I want to be asking! – “Thank you for listening today!  -If you enjoyed the show you can listen to all the past shows wherever you listen to podcasts. What do we mean by 'intercultural church ministry'? What steps can churches make to move from being 'mono-cultural' towards being 'inter-cultural'?Each group of people shares a pattern of doing things: its culture. As cultures from around the world mix more and more, communities can be mono-cultural or multi-cultural.When we read about the great multitude from every nation, tribe, people, and tongue in Revelation 7:9, we see an 'inter-cultural' community united around the throne. In order for churches to reflect this vision of heaven, they need to move from mono- or multi-cultural to inter-cultural: welcoming people from all cultures, being blessed by then, and blessing them.In this episode of In:Dependence, Phil Topham (FIEC Executive Director) is joined by Justin Gill (FIEC's Intercultural Ministry Advisor) and Tim (a form FIEC pastor with experience in intercultural ministry) to explore what intercultural church is and how we can make steps towards being more intercultural in our churches.Show notesFIEC Leaders' Confernece 2025 (fiec.org.uk)Reflecting Heaven: building an intercultural church where you are (fiec.org.uk)About In:Dependence: In:Dependence is FIEC's official podcast, where you'll hear conversations on topics for church leaders.About FIEC: We are a fellowship of Independent churches with members of the family across England, Scotland and Wales. This week's message centered on the rich young ruler and Jesus' invitation to “come, follow me,” highlighting how surrender is not about losing, but about making room for something greater—intimacy with Christ.   We explored how Jesus isn't after our performance, but our hearts. Like the young man, we're often held back by what we won't release, yet Jesus looks at us with love and calls us to trust Him. Following Him means letting go of our grip on control, possessions, and pride so that we can live in the fullness of His way. The call is personal, costly, and deeply worth it—and it begins with a surrendered yes.   Link to Sermon Guide & Activations: 05.04.25 Sermon Guide

The wonderful civil rights elder Vincent Harding liked to look around the world for what he called "live human signposts" — human beings who embody ways of seeing and becoming and who point the way forward to the world we want to inhabit. And adrienne maree brown, who has inspired worlds of social creativity with her notions of "pleasure activism" and "emergent strategy," is surely one of these. We're listening with new ears as she brings together so many of the threads that have recurred in this season of On Being: on looking the harsh complexity of this world full in the face while dancing with joy as life force and fuel, and on keeping clear eyes on the reasons for ecological despair while giving oneself over to a loving apprenticeship with the natural world as teacher and guide. A love of visionary science fiction also finds a robust place in her work and this conversation. She altogether shines a light on an emerging ecosystem in our world over and against the drumbeat of what is fractured and breaking — the cultivation of old and new ways of seeing, towards a transformative wholeness of living.adrienne maree brown's influential books include Emergent Strategy, We Will Not Cancel Us, and Pleasure Activism. More recently, she has published Maroons, a work of speculative fiction, and she co-edited the anthology Octavia's Brood: Science Fiction from Social Justice Movements. She also co-hosts the podcast How to Survive the End of the World. And, a special heads up: in late summer 2024, adrienne maree brown will publish a phenomenal new book — Loving Corrections.Find the transcript for this show at onbeing.org.______Sign up for The Pause — a Saturday morning companion newsletter to the On Being podcast season, and our mailing list for news and invitations all year round.
