Not many of us think about money as something you would have a relationship with. But it's the one thing we all rely on to keep our lives in our society going, and, if we want an uplevelled life, we generally want more of it! My finances grew and grew in ways I didn't think were possible as soon as I started to become conscious of my relationship with money. How was I talking about money? If money was a person would it want to be my friend? If these concepts sound weird to you, this episode is for you! Because if they sound weird, my guess is that you have some money stuff going on that you would like to improve! I'd love you to une in and just be open to the learnings in this episode. After all, money can do so much good in the world, and in the words of one of my favourite humans, David Stirling, "Imagine what kind of a world we would live in, if all the good people in the world had all the money". Reflecting on your past year with positive eyes

It's no secret that 2020 has been a year that most of us do not want to relive! A year that has been overwhelming, confronting, confusing, frustrating and has peeled back the veil on so many things that the majority of us had no idea about. It's caused us to reflect, think about what is important and what we are doing with our lives. What you look for is what you are going to find. As I quote the movie "Pollyanna" in this episode "If you look for the bad in humankind, you are sure to find it". Likewise, if you look for the good, it will be there. In this episode I talk you through how to find the good in 2020, and go into 2021 holding onto those memories. Making a list of 36, reflecting on the lessons but the more the light than the dark. It's easy to find the dark, you don't even really have to try. But what would feel better, heading into the new Year holding onto the good or the bad? The choice is up to you. How to create family memories that last a lifetime without leaving the house

I am so grateful that my Mum gave my siblings and I family traditions for Christmas and our birthdays. In the wellness world there are very strong opinions about presents, how things should be celebrated etc, whether it creates a behaviour of expectation and stuff over connection and love. I think we can take this so seriously and forget that joy, magic and possibilities are some of the greatest gifts we can give our kids and family. Whether your children have an expectation attitude and a I want stuff attitude has nothing to do with what's given, and everything to do with how you parent and the values you instil in them. Personally, after loosing my mother to early onset dementia, the special traditions, the joy and the magic if those events each year are something I value more than anything. The feeling of love, joy and happiness they bring to me when I reflect on them is something I wish for all children to have. Tune into this episode and learn about what my family traditions were and are and how I create family memories and traditions that will last a lifetime with my own daughters. The lack of emotional awareness or intelligence in this society is causing the most extreme amounts of pain in so many lives. The difference between wellness and wanker

You would think that the health and wellness world is exempt from idiotic behaviour, it is after all about health and wellbeing. But nope, just like every other industry, this too has it's fair share of the dark and the light! My two core values are honesty and fairness, so basically dishonesty and inequality are a fabulous way to make my blood boil. There's this thing in the wellness world called "spiritual bypassing". It's where people use spiritual excuses to excuse bad behaviour, avoid tough conversations, avoid looking at their own behaviour and also avoid considering other people's perspectives. And it drives me mental! I'm a straight shooter, if I want to go somewhere the highway is my preference over the scenic route, and a lot of spiritual bypassing is done via the scenic route that is so off track that you get swept away in the spiritualness (made up word) of what someone is trying to say that you forget what your question was. A lot of celebrities have made comments like 'I wish everyone could have all the fame and money they want, to realise that it's not that great and it's not actually what you want". Shay had a taste of it, could have dived right into it, but she chose not to, because, it wasn't true to her. To her truth, her soul, her calling. But this book, this is one that I will happily read over and over again, I would go as far to say that it is in my top 3 fav books EVER! Gina DeeVee is phenomenal! And this book is one that every single woman on the planet needs to read. When I first got it, the Queen part put me off. Not another woman's book about being a queen! All the fluff, faries and unicorns that comes with it. It's just not what connects with me at all! This book is the complete opposite of anything fluffy! It is strong, powerful and invites women to think about what Queen is for them, and how to identify with the other archetypes that sabotage us and take us away from stepping into our own version of Queen. Anita is a free birthing Mama, birth keeper, energy healer and women's circles facilitator. She is a light and shadow worker, leading conscious women to an awakening of a new (yet ancient) paradigm of birth. She guides birthing mothers and wild women through the reclamation of their power, via reconnection to the spiritual and ritualistic elements of nature, intuition, earth medicine and the sacred cycles. But it wasn't always that way. Anita took the typical 'box checking path' that society drills into us by going to uni to pursue a career in teaching that she didn't even really know why she was doing it! By chance (or fate), a move for her family across the other side of the country, allowed her to step into her true self without the judgment of those around her that she had known all her life. But then, she had to come back home and decide to either step into that true version of herself or hide herself to avoid the judgement from the people who had known her her whole life. In fact you can say you've forgiven someone but if you still get a little bit of happiness when you hear of them struggling or feel a bit angry when they have something good happen in their life, you haven't truly forgiven them. I share a story of how I forgave someone in my life who has hurt me more than I ever humanly thought possible. I don't talk specifics about them or the situation, but I'm sure alot of you can relate to having someone do wrong by you and inflict so much pain that you wonder how on earth you would ever forgive it. It's a process, and for me it took alot of meditation, journaling and inner work, and then one day I let it go. I physically felt it leave my body. It was at that moment I realise forgiveness has nothing to do with the other person, it's not condoning what they did or saying that they are right, it's about freeing yourself of the pain. It's very easy to watch those who have been doing to personal development work for years and getting amazing results and ask "why am I not there yet", or even think "I don't even know what purpose is, what all these purpose people talking about". My beautiful amazing wonderful friend Jess, who I met 4yrs ago, totally gets this. She is a successful work from home mother who is trained and used to work in early childhood before having her own babies and it wasn't until the birth of her first child that she started to 'wake up' and look into things more. The realisation that she is now fully responsible for the life of this child and all the decisions being made for her are on Jess, she wanted to understand things more, look into things more and do what she could to do what's best for her daughter. Enter the Rabbit Hole of unlearning all we have been fed and actually looking at things critically, questioning things and asking yourself "how does this feel for me and my life". If you are feeling a bit lost and "when the F is my purpose going to drop into my life", this is the episode for you. How on earth do you pull someones purpose out of all these achievements…… lawyer, comedian, radio host, yoga instructor, podcaster, producer, business owner….oh and MOTHER! And no, I am not talking about multiple people, all this is ONE woman! Mel Sargent is my podcast producer, the owner and founder of Newcastle Podcast Station and one half of Australia's top rated podcast for mothers NHM - I Got It From My Mumma.   I'm a bit of a people watcher, I love watching people when they're not on stage, not ‘working' or have an audience, and just see what they do. As I started to work with Mel and watch her work with her clients and myself, and learnt about her and all she has accomplished in her life, her purpose was so clear to me. Mel lives to empower people to ‘be better'. Not in a you're not enough way, but to use me as an example, great at talking, no idea about podcasting, media, PR, none of it. Have a mission and vision I want to share with the world, no idea how to do it, I'm just following the breadcrumbs. Mel see's me, and she's like ‘oh you've so got this, let me help you do it better'. She hates injustice, is all for putting the power back with the people and uses her skills to elevate people so that when they're ‘doing it better',  they're having a bigger impact and helping more people. She is hilarious and so much fun to work with. Enjoy listening to her wisdom of how to overcome rejection, keep going, and being ok with the process as your purpose changes and evolves as you do. What does a life on purpose look like

Deliberate. Conscious. Humble. Three words that will come out of your mouth when you are looking at someone who is living their life on purpose. Purpose driven people don't whinge and complain much if at all. They don't wish their life was different because they are doing what they can to create the life they want. They have taken the time to sit down and answer the questions: Who do I want to be? How do I want to show up in the world? When people look at me, what do I want to represent? How do I want to be remembered? What makes me happy, full of joy? And then, after they've answered those questions, they are living life daily in accordance to those answers. They do this despite the judgment from others, despite the fact that the majority of the time they are going against what society has brainwashed us to believe. The way they speak, think, dress, invest, spend, work etc is deliberate. There is a reason behind it. With a lot of the reasons being how can I bring more joy to my life and to the world. They are conscious, awake, have decided their terms of what life is FOR THEM, and they are living it daily. I was going to interview Christina about how she found her purpose by dropping her corporate job and stepping outside the mainstream and also loosing her mum helped her find her purpose. However, Christina is also a very vocal activist on race equality and diversity. She constantly uses her social media presence and influence to talk about race, white privileged, what it's like to be someone with brown skin in a majority white skin world and more recently how just because she's brown, doesn't mean she knows what it's like to be a black person. We talked about how over the last year she has lost 600+ followers due to advocating and talking about race and lack of diversity in marketing, corporations etc, to now be flooded with questions and overnight followers because she does talk about it and can relate to it as she has lived it her whole life. It's part of being human, and we fight it so much which causes us alot of pain, guilt, shame etc. What is we didn't fight judgement, what if we sought to understand it?
