Cassie Mendoza-Jones is a business coach, kinesiologist, NLP practitioner, author of three books (You Are Enough, It's All Good and Aligned & Unstoppable), and a naturopath and speaker. Working with her is a catalyst for real, deep and radical change in your business; in how you show up; in how deeply you believe in yourself; how highly you regard yourself; and in the ways your energy and emotions speak to your body, being and business (and vice versa), guiding you from where you are to the growth you're ready for. Cassie and Helen have been close friends for many years, and before children, they would chat every fortnight and provide each other with coaching, reflection, and celebration. This conversation picks up as Cassie talks about returning to work after her second child, gaining perspective and trust that she would find a nanny and clients. She found her strength in believing that every sale and client she signed was bringing her closer to the next. With this newfound faith, she was able to build up her business and launch a successful Mastermind with 10 clients. She realized that all the time she had was all the time she needed. In this episode, you will learn the following: 1. How to navigate writing, motherhood, and business life at the same time 2. Trusting the energy you put into something will bring a return 3. In today's episode, I speak to another one of my favorite people and someone I'm very lucky to call a friend, Cassie Mendoza Jones. Cassie is a published author of three incredible books – ‘You Are Enough', ‘It's All Good' and ‘Aligned and Unstoppable'. She's a business alignment coach, Kinesiologist and overall incredible human. In this episode, we go back to her second book – ‘It's all good'. We talk all about the lessons that we can take from perceived failures, from not meeting expectations and really diving into the conversation about releasing this need to be so hard on ourselves. Trusting in the greater plan and in the bigger plan, learning the magic of forgiveness and really tapping into and connecting with your future self so that you can keep that dream alive. So much gold, so much wisdom in this episode, I can't wait for you to hear.
Do you ever have those stints when you’re working so hard, but all you can do is doubt yourself. A few years back Cassie Mendoza-Jones put her heart, soul, time and money into a big work project. This project came to her easily and felt effortless and joyful. It felt like she was in total alignment, so you can imagine how devastating it was for her when the project did not achieve the success she was hoping for. In fact this so called failure had her down. Losing faith in herself, her intuition and the universe she was forced to go deeply into her own healing. In this experience she could see how hard she was on herself- how controlling she was of her life and how easy it was for her to get stuck in the “doing” rather than the “being”. Cassie also shares with us: + Why showing up and doing the inner work is much more than just “doing the work” + How she has had to redefine goal setting and success so that she is less controlling and more allowing + Why allowing things to be as they are, leaves space for things to be even better than you could possibly imagine + Why it was just so hard for her to forgive herself and how a health crisis forced her to really go there + How her mother first initiated her intuition at a toy shop and how she keeps this alive these days with automatic writing for more info go to www.nicolemathieson.com/podcast14

Don’t be naive. At minute 7:00, talks about why you can’t just assume that you’ll get a return on investment. Lay down your boundaries. At minute 12:00, Cassie talks about “burning 10 candles at both ends” and learning to say no to work that isn’t right for you. “Everything is an experiment.” At minute 19:00, Cassie talks about taking the pressure off and just trying things out to see how they work. Take a big step back. At minute 25:00, Cassie talks about what to do when things feel overwhelming.
