In 2001, Dermot O'Reilly and Fergus O'Byrne (two founding members of the legendary band “Ryans's Fancy”), along with Gerry Strong, well known flute and tin whistle player, and Colin Carrigan, one of the province's finest fiddlers, recorded a live performance in the old Newfoundland Museum on Duckworth Street in St. John's. It was broadcast on CBC radio St. John's on March 17th., 2001 – St. Patrick's Day. Fergus always wanted to record with his great friend Dermot and has chosen to release this recording now.
