Tonix Pharmaceuticals Holdings CEO Dr Seth Lederman joined Steve Darling from Proactive to share encouraging preclinical results presented at the American Association for Cancer Research, highlighting the company's novel therapeutic candidate TNX-1700 for gastric cancer. In the study, a murine fusion protein (mTFF2-MSA) was tested, modeling the human fusion version TFF2-HSA currently under development as TNX-1700. Dr. Lederman explained that combining mTFF2-MSA with anti-PD1 immunotherapy significantly reduced tumor immunosuppression in animal models. Specifically, the therapy decreased immunosuppressive neutrophils and cancer-induced granulopoiesis, while stimulating CD8+ T-cell responses that helped inhibit tumor progression. The study also revealed a negative correlation between TFF2 expression and PMN-MDSC levels in gastric cancer patients, supporting the clinical relevance of TFF2 modulation in immuno-oncology. Tonix plans to continue advancing TNX-1700 as a first-in-class fusion protein therapeutic for hard-to-treat cancers. #proactiveinvestors #tonixpharmaceuticalsholdingcorp #nasdaq #tnxp #Biotech #TonixPharmaceuticals #TNX1700 #GastricCancer #CancerResearch #Immunotherapy #PD1Blockers #AACR2025 #BiotechNews #OncologyInnovation #CancerTreatment

Michael Knox, the visionary producer behind Jason Aldean's groundbreaking sound, pulls back the curtain on one of country music's most remarkable success stories. Knox's candid revelations about their journey expose the harsh realities of Nashville's music business—an incredible 40 showcase rejections, multiple lost record deals, and years of struggle before breakthrough success. What makes this conversation extraordinary is hearing how Knox deliberately architected Aldean's revolutionary sound when mainstream Nashville wasn't ready for it. "The whole plan with Jason was to be Tim McGraw's nightmare, to be the replacement of that generation," Knox explains. "You can't do that if you don't cover all the bases—I can tear your head off, steal your girl, make you cry."Knox shares fascinating production stories, including how executives at Broken Bow Records first heard "Hicktown" with a broken speaker that eliminated the electric guitar parts—yet still loved it. He reveals the battles fought for now-iconic songs like "She's Country," "Big Green Tractor," and "Dirt Road Anthem"—all initially dismissed as career-ending risks by industry gatekeepers. The conversation takes a personal turn when Knox discusses his father, Buddy Knox, who had the first self-written #1 hit in rock and roll history ("Party Doll") yet remains excluded from the Rock Hall of Fame. This family connection illuminates Knox's deep understanding of the music business's often unfair nature and his determination to help Aldean succeed against overwhelming odds. What emerges is a masterclass in artistic vision and perseverance. In today's era of overnight TikTok sensations, Knox questions whether artists who haven't weathered rejection and struggle can develop the character needed for lasting careers. "These people today don't suffer like that," he reflects, celebrating the hard-earned journey that shaped Aldean's authentic connection with fans. The Try That in a Small Town Podcast is powered by e|spaces! TekVizion is helping enterprises move from legacy PBX systems to cloud communications platforms with speed, accuracy, and customer-centric focus. Speaking at the Cloud Connections 2025 event hosted by the Cloud Communications Alliance, TekVizion CEO Chakra Develler and Craig Decker emphasized the company's role in transforming complex cloud migrations into seamless, automated processes. “There's a lot of transformation happening in enterprise communications,” said Develler. “As companies shift to the cloud and embrace AI-enhanced CX, the challenge becomes maintaining quality and consistency across increasingly complex systems. That's where we come in.” TekVizion, long known for its vendor-agnostic testing and automation tools, is now focused on accelerating enterprise adoption of next-gen communications by reducing the cost, risk, and time associated with migrating to modern platforms like Microsoft Teams, Webex, and Zoom. Craig Decker noted that many traditional PBX vendors are faltering or have entered Chapter 11, leaving customers looking for cloud alternatives. “There's an urgency now,” said Decker. “Customers want to go from engagement to deployment in under 10 minutes. We're automating migrations to make that possible.” The two executives described a global trend, particularly in Europe, where service providers are racing to modernize their offerings and upgrade customer communications infrastructure. “We're hearing from carriers and resellers who are trying to solve for both CX and AI simultaneously, and they don't want to rip and replace blindly,” said Develler. “Our platform lets them migrate intelligently.” TekVizion's automation approach helps enterprises manage both the technology transition and user experience, cutting down project timelines while ensuring performance and compliance. As businesses increasingly demand cloud-native deployments and AI-ready infrastructure, TekVizion positions itself as a trusted guide for every step of that journey. Learn more at tekvizion.com.

At Enterprise Connect 2025, Microsoft's announcement of Microsoft Teams Phone Extensibility marked a significant leap in the evolution of Teams-integrated communications. Among the first to harness this new capability is Luware, whose Teams-native contact center solution, Luware Nimbus Power, was front and center at the event. In a podcast recorded live from the show, John Wright of Luware joined Technology Reseller News publisher Doug Green to discuss the implications of this breakthrough. “Luware Nimbus Power leverages Microsoft's Azure Communication Services (ACS) to enable what we call ‘dual persona' functionality,” Wright explained. “This means agents can manage and receive audio calls through either the contact center console or the Microsoft Teams client—seamlessly.” Wright emphasized that while many competitors took the fastest route to market by simply connecting existing solutions to Teams, Luware made a bold move: they rebuilt their contact center platform natively within the Teams environment using the Extend model. Now, with Power certification, Luware adds advanced capabilities that integrate fully with Microsoft 365 tools like Power Automate, SharePoint, and Dynamics, and allow real-time AI enhancements via Microsoft Copilot Studio. This cloud-native, Teams-embedded architecture not only enables secure handling of calls without rerouting media through third-party infrastructure but also offers deep flexibility for integrations with CRMs, ticketing systems, and third-party platforms. “The call stays within the Teams tenant,” Wright noted. “That's a major advantage for organizations with strict compliance and security requirements.” For multi-vendor enterprise environments or long-standing organizations with diverse tech stacks, Wright sees the Luware approach as a powerful unifier: “You might have different departments working with different systems—Salesforce, Freshdesk, you name it. Luware can centralize communications across those platforms while keeping the user experience rooted in Teams.” Luware's robust partner program also makes this a compelling opportunity for MSPs and MSSPs. “We built a rewarding, intuitive partner program around Nimbus,” Wright said. “You can deploy a full-featured, omni-channel, AI-powered contact center in under 40 minutes.” Luware's commitment to native Teams integration and close collaboration with Microsoft positions it as a top-tier option for modern, scalable, secure contact center deployments. As the sun shines over the Las Vegas Strip, the future of POTS replacement is being redefined from a panoramic suite high above the city. In a special Technology Reseller News podcast recorded live at Channel Partners Conference and Expo 2025, Jonathan Alarcon, Senior Director of Technology at TELCLOUD, sat down with publisher Doug Green to discuss the company's innovative, carrier-grade approach to POTS replacement—and the growing opportunity for channel partners and resellers. “POTS lines are going away. Regulations are changing. Prices are going up. And legacy systems in buildings—many hidden or forgotten, still depend on them,” said Alarcon. “We're solving that challenge with a fully modular and white-label-ready solution.” Alarcon emphasized the scale and complexity of the issue: from elevators to fire panels, healthcare fax lines to security systems, legacy analog infrastructure remains pervasive across commercial real estate. TELCLOUD's platform has been engineered to support those use cases with true analog line reproduction, including appropriate voltage support and compliance for life safety systems. What sets TELCLOUD apart is its modular hardware approach. Unlike single-box LTE solutions, which are often limited by installation constraints, TELCLOUD allows partners to separate the router from the endpoint by up to 250 feet using a simple Cat6 connection. This flexibility ensures better signal strength and deployment across diverse environments, especially in telco rooms located deep within buildings. The company also offers a comprehensive remote management platform, delivering one pane of glass for full visibility and control—integrated with leading router management systems. Resellers and channel partners can handle firmware updates, monitoring, and diagnostics anywhere. “Coming from the alarm and life safety industry, I knew we needed something better,” said Alarcon. “Our platform is tailored to the realities of fire code compliance and the needs of mission-critical legacy devices.” TELCLOUD's channel-first, white-label strategy is designed to accommodate partners at every stage—from MSPs just entering the space to seasoned telco veterans. The company offers full deployment support, installation services, and turnkey go-to-market options. “Whether you need us to handle everything, or just provide the platform, we're here to help,” said Alarcon. “We tailor our engagement to your needs.” As copper networks continue their sunset and regulatory deadlines loom, TELCLOUD invites channel partners to explore the business opportunity now—before demand exceeds deployment capacity. Ruth E. Carter is a two-time academy award-winning costume designer whose creativity and talent have left an incredible mark in the film industry. From the African-inspired designs of “Black Panther” to the symbolism behind the costumes in “Malcolm X,” each piece is a testament to Carter's skill at blending history, culture, and storytelling.During an exhibition of her costumes at The Children's Museum of Indianapolis, she said, “It's amazing to me because each one is a different time in my life, and now they're all here together.”Carter's journey to success started when she auditioned for an acting role but didn't get the part. She was asked to design the costumes instead, and her passion grew. “Quickly, I realized that I could play all the characters, not just one. That I was able to do a character discovery, a deep dive into the intricoes of each of the characters and bring the characters to life amongst all of them.”“Each one of these pieces here, they represent some passion that I had. I made lots of decisions on each one of these costumes.”As Carter sees it, making costumes became a new way of exploring art, photography, textures and design. “I can recreate this in a medium that tells the story of them. I see their story, I see behind their eyes and who they are, and it just fascinates me.”Her work is featured in many popular TV shows and films including, “Coming to America,” “Selma,” “Roots,” “Rosewood,” and “Wakanda Forever.” Carter came to Indianapolis during the past weekend for the debut of her exhibition at the Children's Museum and for a panel discussion at the Madam Walker Legacy Center. For young women or people of color who aspire to Carter's career, she says, it's important to know that it's a passion career and not always glamorous, but it's key to be excited about one's own individual path. “You have to be a student of your passion and you have to stay the course. You learn so much even from your mistakes. There is no such thing as a mistake. It is sometimes difficult, but that just means you have to push yourself.”See Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.

At Enterprise Connect 2025, Sam Etler of Numeracle joined Doug Green, publisher of Technology Reseller News, to discuss how enterprises can protect their brand identity and restore trust in voice communications through secure branded calling. Solving the Growing Threat of Spoofed Calls Branded calling has become a critical tool for enterprises looking to authenticate their phone calls. However, traditional branding solutions have been vulnerable to spoofing, where scammers mimic legitimate businesses, damaging reputations and causing financial losses. “This is a way of securely adding your logo, a reason for calling, and your name to a call in a way that cannot be spoofed,” said Etler. “Unlike legacy branded calling solutions, our cryptographic signatures ensure calls are verified by the mobile provider.” What Makes Secure Branded Calling Different? Protects against spoofing: Traditional branding can be manipulated by fraudsters who hijack a business's caller ID, but Numeracle's solution prevents unauthorized branding. Enhances customer trust: Securely verifies the caller's identity before the call reaches the recipient. No third-party apps required: Works natively on iOS and Android without additional software. Live Demos at Enterprise Connect Numeracle is demonstrating this secure branded calling solution live at Booth #1000 at Enterprise Connect, showcasing real-time call authentication. “You'll see our logo appear on devices with no prior setup, proving that the branding is delivered over the network securely,” said Etler. Why Should Enterprises Pay Attention? With brand reputation at risk, large enterprises need to act now to prevent call spoofing and ensure their customers trust incoming calls. For those not attending Enterprise Connect, more information can be found at numeracle.com, where enterprises can also learn about call reputation management solutions to combat spam labeling issues.

Join Jim and Greg for 3 Martini Lunch as they analyze President Trump's decision to strike Iran-backed Houthi terrorists in Yemen, former Sen. Kyrsten Sinema exposing the Democrats' hypocrisy on the filibuster, and Trump's claim that President Biden's pardons are invalid. They also pay tribute to two influential figures on the right who recently passed away.First, they support Trump's move to target Houthi militants for their ongoing attacks on U.S. and allied ships in the Red Sea. Jim explains why the strikes are justified and responds to concerns about escalating conflict and whether Trump has congressional authorization.Next, they enjoy watching former Arizona Sen. Kyrsten Sinema call out the Democrats' blatant filibuster hypocrisy. Sinema became a pariah in her own party for refusing to kill the legislative filibuster. Now she's gleefully highlighting the same Democrats for demanding that Senate Democrats filibuster the government spending bill last week. Then, they consider Trump's assertion that Biden's pardons are invalid because they were signed with an autopen and possibly without Biden's awareness. They cite past evidence of Biden's confusion over executive orders but doubt Trump could legally overturn the pardons—a precedent he might later appreciate. They also offer some ingenious ideas for speeding up the resolution of all the legal challenges to Trump's policies. Finally, they pay tribute to two important figures on the right who died last week. First, they remember former Wyoming Sen. Alan Simpson. Then they reflect upon the life of longtime Reagan speechwriter Tony Dolan, who had a significant impact on Jim's career. Please visit our great sponsors:If I needed to find a doctor quickly, Zocdoc is what I'd use.
