Rick Taylor quickly went from a work relationship to a friend more like family for Lance and Noel in just a few short years. His passion for all things outdoors is obvious but his heart lies with the wild turkey. An example might be limiting your harvest this season, or choosing a more difficult approach for yourself. Spring hunting is one of the best gifts to a hunting season. Whether it's turkeys or bears its a great opportunity to keep our skills sharp going into the next fall hunting season. A new favorite tradition of mine is heading to the Sandhills of Nebraska in the Spring to look for antlers on our good friend Nate's ranch. This year we had a blast. Jacob is one of the most hardcore guys I've talked to on this podcast. In 2023 he stared down death on the mountain and miraculously survived. In 2024 he went back west killed a bear, a cow elk, a bull elk and came home to kill a 160 class buck in Ohio. What an incredible season! One of the best realities about hunting is that there are so many avenues to go with it.
