Denying that the information to profit exists within would be a lie, so what is the problem? Lack of information or action. Without information, there would be poorly informed action if it goes sideways. With information, it would be a well informed action. Then there is guts, void of information and the pondering of action. With the level of information at our disposal, it's easy to get catch the noise rather than getting the signal. "Your Instagram page is perfect, yes because it's carefully curated. That's why people have nothing on their page until they have something Instagram-worthy, therefore something perfect for Instagram." Perfect doesn't exist, there's improvement, there's better, there's the best possible outcome but pure roses and sunshine forever is a lie and a fantasy. The fraud conversation is an ongoing and expanding one and this conversation I was lucky to have captured this with my phone recorder. The extent of this conversation shows how much and how far this going sideways in details not every one wants to hear so a couple parts were clipped off. This is a recording of a conversation between three friends and an acquaintance. This is an outsider's perspective on the "Fraud: No, The Feeling" episode on the podcast. This episode is timely to me, most likely not the best audio quality, that I'll agree but its "takes", it can be as raw as it gets. Flowers To Who Made It Rain is a reminisce of everyone in my life who had contributed immensely, materially and otherwise to my growth and also watching the friend group share an overflowing amount of love every time we are together. On this episode, which I'd argue should be a little more articulate about the idea that "Friends Are Family". I talk about dependency, feeling undeserving and flower-giving to friends who made it rain to see you blossom. The circumstance surrounding this episode, opened my heart up to the power of collaboration because I - Asher have robbed myself, the audience and the podcast of the perspectives of the beautiful people that are part of the inspirations of the podcast. I have found a way to give my flowers to those who made it rain, I hope this guides you in the right direction too. When you feel your filth, there's nothing to be ashamed of - you just take responsibility and work on it. It's necessary to work on that part of us as we get older. I guess it just dawned on me as I turned a year older yesterday. Surrendering control and taking responsibility for who you are, what you are right now, your perspective on life, what you become, and what you want. Responsibility, not regret - try to remember that whenever your mind or thought falls into the feeling of inadequacy projected by society. I understand that it's a constant struggle for your mental strength. Does it get tougher every day or do you resolve to wake up with the will to fight? The audio clip at the start of the episode is Maya Angelou. Phenomenal. In hindsight, it begs the question “What exactly were we fighting for?”, it's not a question in mockery of the event but honestly, was it worth it? Do we still care about a revolution? The episode art is a collage by Silivio Severino. It's a statement of how jewels - diamonds and precious stones are moved to the west off the capitalization of the poverty of the citizens in the African countries these jewels are present in. Does it have anything to do with the episode? No, but I don't like that question, because you could ask the same of the sentences in the episode title before and after the colon between them. It's abstract but there's a thread between them. My new friend told me as time goes on you'd be able to explain better, that's the most progressive compliment I've ever heard or been given. Now, that speaks to this episode. Rich niggas help rich niggas - it's an unspoken rule we know exists and a number benefit from. I struggled to put words together for this one, that's probably because the story is not clear yet. It's not hazy either, I'd prefer I see it in 4K before I can say everything I can about "the process of getting". Just as there's nothing new under the sun, there's no one blueprint for all. This is a tailor-made life and the more I get to understand that, the more I doubt the existence of jealousy because my process is the art of control and surrender. I'm learning how to balance control and surrender, I may be doing the latter to a fault, but the trick is in the balance - or the balancing act. --- Send in a voice message: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/ventperweek/message
