How to Trade Stocks and Options Podcast by 10minutestocktrader.com
Are you looking to save time, make money, and start winning with less risk? Then head to https://www.ovtlyr.com.This video ended up being way more interesting than expected. It starts out as a simple reaction to a massively viral piece titled “Five Things You Should Never Tell Anyone,” but the conversation ends up going in all kinds of unexpected directions. Money, jobs, relationships, trading, even a few personal stories that are a little too real. And honestly, that's what makes it work. It feels like the kind of discussion you'd have with a friend over coffee, where you start on one topic and suddenly you're deep in something way more meaningful. There's a lot of talk about why sharing things like your salary or savings almost never helps you. People either get jealous, uncomfortable, or competitive, and nothing good comes out of it. Then there's the whole idea of telling coworkers you're thinking about quitting. Turns out that can come back to bite you fast. There are stories in here about getting pushed out of a job simply for being honest a little too early, and they're the kind of stories that stick with you.But the wild part is how naturally the conversation shifts into the markets. One minute it's workplace drama, the next it's all about SPY, NASDAQ, and the Dow throwing sell signals. And it's not sugarcoated. The trend isn't bullish, breadth is weakening, fear is rising, and buy signals are dropping off. That's not a market you fight. That's a market you respect. Here are some of the simple takeaways the video really drives home:✅ Talking about money with others can create problems fast✅ Oversharing your plans to quit or retire can cost bonuses and opportunities✅ The current market setup isn't bullish and doesn't deserve blind optimism✅ OVTLYR signals saved traders from getting caught in a downtrend✅ Sitting in cash can be smarter than forcing trades that don't existThe part that really stands out is the talk about cash positions. It isn't just “sit and wait.” It's strategic. You can move money into something like an ultra short term Treasury setup, collect daily interest, and stay out of the chop. Meanwhile, you get time to review your trades, study your emotions, backtest your plan, and sharpen your skills without risking a thing. Most traders never give themselves that breathing room. But it matters. If you want more breakdowns, more market talk, or more OVTLYR insight, there's a whole lineup of videos waiting for you.Gain instant access to the AI-powered tools and behavioral insights top traders use to spot big moves before the crowd. The book is a true story full of twists and turns, but it is not the whole story. It never could be. The “twists” are secrets and the “turns” are fateful choices. The characters struggle with confession, contrition, and forgiveness. They seek happiness, disrupted by unexpected pregnancies, and altered lives. This tale weaves together the secrets of the author, birth parents, adoptive parents, and their families to reveal the delicate and emotional parts of the whole. In this book, the nutshell is cracked, and secrets spill out. Some parts are myth, which serve as lessons; other parts are a quest for identity and treasured memories of heartfelt acceptance. The author found the process of unraveling truth from long-held secrets and uncovering two unknown biological family histories overwhelming. However, the bigger challenge for him was how to integrate “Who you really are,” is never really a secret. Provenance of identity is hard wired.

New fashionable items appear in stores almost every week, so you want more and spend more. Sometimes, large brands create clothes made with well-known designers. Their aim is to make customers pay more for exclusive items. Clothes manufacturing involves chemicals that can't be identified without proper lab testing. The customer thinks that a cotton or woolen blouse isn't that expensive compared to a synthetic one and buys it without a second thought. Lux brands often make items from cheap materials specifically for outlets to receive income from those who can't afford their clothes in expensive boutiques. Our parents have left us things that we can still wear. Today's clothes, however, are often of poor quality. Sometimes, stores artificially raise the prices just before the sale to announce it later and attract customers. Different manufacturers have different size scales. Therefore, you'll be able to fit into a small item in one store yet hardly be able to squeeze yourself into a medium in another. As humans, we tend to have a problem asking for help. I think we can chalk that up to our proud hearts. Often, when we are really up against it, that's when we resist seeking help.Jesus does away with all that.Matthew 7:7, “Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you.”Ask yourself: is my pride keeping me from asking for help? If so, mull that over. And then, take a step toward the Lord and ask for what you need.God opens doors when we ask Him to. And sometimes what we find on the other side isn't what we expected. When that happens, we choose patience. And we remain open to His good plans for us.When you've asked God to help and prayers are answered, share the Good News with people you meet. Tell anyone who will listen that the Lord of the universe cared about you and delivered you from a problem no one else could solve. And if the answer He gave was totally unexpected, and sent you in a different direction—share that, too! Accepting God's plan when it doesn't match up with our own best-laid plans is what faith is all about. Let's pray. Lord, please give us a heart that seeks you. God, we want to be obedient, and we know that your blessings, whatever they look like, will follow. Thank you. In Jesus' name, amen. Change your shirt, and you can change the world! On this week's Talkhouse Podcast we've got an absolute legend of a singer-songwriter in conversation with a guy who's no slouch himself: Lucinda Williams and M. Ward. Williams has been writing and recording incredible songs since the late 1970s, though she didn't really break through in a huge way until 1998's stone classic Car Wheels on a Gravel Road, which garnered her the Best Contemporary Folk Album Grammy—her second Grammy—but also some of the most well-deserved critical accolades of that year. She certainly didn't rest on those laurels, having released close to a dozen more revered albums since, many of which found themselves also at the Grammy and Americana awards ceremonies—as well as in the hearts of listeners and other songwriters. Last year, Williams released a fantastic memoir about her journey from small-town Louisiana to the music business and beyond. It's a lovely look at a life well lived called Don't Tell Anyone the Secrets I Told You. The other half of today's conversation is M. Ward, another literate singer-songwriter with a varied career whose music can't be easily pinned down—he's been called folk, Americana, and indie-rock, none of which quite do his songs justice. Ward has been making records for 25 years now, and his discography includes not only thoughtful, beautiful solo records, but an entire catalog of albums made with actress Zooey Deschanel under the name She & Him. Ward's latest is last year's Supernatural Thing, another set of songs that feel like they exist out of time. Check out “Too Young to Die” from that album right here. In this conversation, Ward and Williams talk about the time they worked together, when Williams contributed vocals to an M. Ward record back in 2009. Then they get into Williams' memoir and just scratch the surface on her incredible life and career before the conversation turns to their literary influences and more. Enjoy. 0:00 – Intro 2:33 – Start of the chat 4:30 – Williams on the hard part of writing a memoir 8:13 – Ward reads his favorite passage from Williams' book 12:58 – Williams recalls meeting famous writers as a child 23:50 – "I want to be James Joyce!" Likely you're a good person living a decent life, making a living and working hard. You go to church on Sundays and pray before your meals. But you have a secret, a hidden part of your life that you'd be ashamed for anyone to find out about. The thing with secrets is that they eventually come out. Instead of hiding, let's have a difficult conversation, a real talk about secrets and shame and sex and a lot of things in between. Difficult conversations don't have to be difficult, but they do have to be honest. In today's episode and in her book, Don't Tell Anyone You're Reading This, Lina shares her own struggle with sexual temptation with openness and vulnerability. She points out where the church and purity culture have failed our communities. Lina gets real about the excuses we make and the lies we tell ourselves even when our behaviors point to a larger problem. This is a no-holds-barred discussion on why Christians still struggle with sexual sin and what the church needs to be doing to support Christians and the community at large. Most importantly, you'll see that despite our constant failures as humans, Jesus doesn't ask us to be perfect. He just asks us to be His. If you're going to have a difficult conversation, you might as well have it with a doctor. Connect with Lina: Livingwithpower.org

Are you hurting and find yourself turning to whatever it takes to quiet the ache inside? You're not alone. We're all broken, lonely people in need of love and affirmation, but what if instead of seeing our pain as something to be numbed, we'd let it awaken us to what we really need – intimacy with God? In this podcast episode you'll hear a conversation with Ainsley Britain where I share my story of writing Don't Tell Anyone You're Reading This. My hope and prayer are that God will use my brokenness and my story to help you step out of your dark tunnel into the light. It's time to see your ache as an invitation to depend on Jesus and rest in His unconditional love for you!
