Wednesday of the Second Week of EasterJohn 3:16-21God so loved the world that he gave his only-begotten Son,so that everyone who believes in him might not perishbut might have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world might be saved through him.
Jn 3:16-21God so loved the world that he gave his only-begotten Son,so that everyone who believes in him might not perishbut might have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world might be saved through him.Whoever believes in him will not be condemned, but whoever does not believe has already been condemned, because he has not believed in the name of the only-begotten Son of God.And this is the verdict, that the light came into the world, but people preferred darkness to light, because their works were evil. For everyone who does wicked things hates the lightand does not come toward the light,so that his works might not be exposed. But whoever lives the truth comes to the light,so that his works may be clearly seen as done in God.

The Wrong Direction (Greed & Selfish Motives) Luke 12:13-21God's word calls us to steer clear of greed and other selfish motives that cause us to place too much value on money and possessions. We are to trust God, resist temptation, and be willing to give.________________________________________Navigating GenerosityGod is incredibly generous. He's given us everything we have, including our very lives. In turn, God calls us to be generous as well. The idea of being generous people may appeal to us, but navigating our way to generosity isn't as simple as we'd like. It's easy to get turned in the wrong direction or lost along the way. With this series, we'll focus on steering clear of greed and selfish motives and toward trusting in God's provision so that we can reach our destination of becoming generous people.Orchard Community Church8180 Telephone RdVentura CA 93004www.OrchardVentura.orgContact us at Info@OrchardVentura.orgOrchard's Streaming and Song Select CCLI# 160190

Does God have a purpose for my life? How do I know what that is and walk into that? God gives us a few examples here in 1 Kings 19, that allows us to understand the proper response to the great call on our lives. In this conclusion to the Elijah Series Pastor Fikre Prince encourages us through the interactions between Elijah and Elisha to see the hope that comes in succession and calling.1 Kings 19:19-21God faithfully calls people into his mission1. God's Direction can be trusted (v19)2. God's call demands commitment (20-21)3. God's assignment involves development (v21)

Our guest, Rachelle Starr, is guaranteed to make us pray and move more boldly on faith and obedience because she is unapologetic about her love for Christ. We often begin to think that those who minister in strip clubs must have some history with it, but that's what makes Rachelle's story even more powerful. She truly embodies 1 Corinthians 9:19-23.As we prepare to get into this conversation, it is my prayer that we would all see the grace that abounds in the middle of some of the darkest places.Romans 5:20-21God's law was given so that all people could see how sinful they were. But as people sinned more and more, God's wonderful grace became more abundant. So just as sin ruled over all people and brought them to death, now God's wonderful grace rules instead, giving us right standing with God and resulting in eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.Rachelle Encouraged Us To Remember The:Full body of Christ is beautiful;Adult entertainment industry is in all of our cities;People and their salvation in the darkest places we often judge;Holy Spirit will lead you when you choose obedience;Community you have is essential to your mission.Tag me and let me know what your favorite point was! What Would You Do for More? A SERMON BASED ON LUKE 12:13-21God doesn't condemn earthly wealth, but he is concerned about our attitude towards it. He wants to be the King of our hearts, and he doesn't want us to be lured away by worldly desires. He desires that our hearts would be set on him and on him alone. And he proved it by giving up his Son to win for us an inheritance that this world cannot give.

Islay Baptist Church - Jim McNultyno00:22:21God provides what is necessary - 10. Hosea
God's message for the world needs a messenger, that is, you. Fortunately, the message you share is a message you cherish. 2 Corinthians 5:14-21 14For the love of Christ compels us, because we came to this conclusion: One died for all; therefore, all died. 15And he died for all, so that those who live would no longer live for themselves but for him, who died in their place and was raised again. 16As a result, from now on, we regard no one according to the flesh. Even though we knew Christ according to the flesh, we no longer know him that way. 17So then, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away. The new has come! 18And all these things are from God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation. 19That is, God was in Christ reconciling the world to himself, not counting their trespasses against them. And he has entrusted to us the message of reconciliation. 20Therefore, we are ambassadors for Christ, inasmuch as God is making an appeal through us. We urge you, on Christ's behalf: Be reconciled to God. 21God made him, who did not know sin, to become sin for us, so that we might become the righteousness of God in him.

Thank you for joining us today as we continue in our fifth week of our sermon series "Experiencing God". Matthew shares the memory verse John 14:21God has ordained certain Spiritual Disciplines to help us grow closer to him.For us to experience God we must:• Know God• Love God• Believe and Trust God• Obey God
Series: So Will IMessage Text: John 20:21God has called us to "make disciples of all nations." God's mission is our mission, to share the Good News of Jesus. God is actively sharing His love. The question is if we will respond to His call with the answer "So Will I."
The Problem Of Wineskins. Luke 5 NIV 37And no one pours new wine into old wineskins. Otherwise, the new wine will burst the skins; the wine will run out and the wineskins will be ruined. 38No, new wine must be poured into new wineskins. 39And no one after drinking old wine wants the new, for they say, ‘The old is better.’” 2 Corinthians 5:1-5 NLT For we know that when this earthly tent we live in is taken down (that is, when we die and leave this earthly body), we will have a house in heaven, an eternal body made for us by God himself and not by human hands. 2We grow weary in our present bodies, and we long to put on our heavenly bodies like new clothing. 3For we will put on heavenly bodies; we will not be spirits without bodies. 4While we live in these earthly bodies, we groan and sigh, but it’s not that we want to die and get rid of these bodies that clothe us. Rather, we want to put on our new bodies so that these dying bodies will be swallowed up by life. 5God himself has prepared us for this, and as a guarantee he has given us his Holy Spirit. 2 Corinthians 5:14-21 NIV 14For Christ’s love compels us, because we are convinced that one died for all, and therefore all died. 15And he died for all, that those who live should no longer live for themselves but for him who died for them and was raised again. 16So from now on we regard no one from a worldly point of view. Though we once regarded Christ in this way, we do so no longer. 17Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here! 18All this is from God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation: 19that God was reconciling the world to himself in Christ, not counting people’s sins against them. And he has committed to us the message of reconciliation. 20We are therefore Christ’s ambassadors, as though God were making his appeal through us. We implore you on Christ’s behalf: Be reconciled to God. 21God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.
The Names and Titles of Jesus -Jesus the Great I Am - Episode 91 This new series of the names and titles of Jesus will give us a more in-depth understanding of Jesus Christ our Lord. The following is an outline. Jesus – Name Above Every Name God 1. God (Elohim) is the plural of EL – “in the beginning, God created the heavens and earth” Genesis 1:1 2. God (Elohim) = A term describing essence 3. The name of GOD YHVH Exodus 3:15 “And God said unto Moses, I AM THAT I AM”: and he said, “Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, I AM hath sent me unto you.” 9 Now, therefore, behold, the cry of the children of Israel has come unto me: and I have also seen the oppression wherewith the Egyptians oppress them. 10 Come now, therefore, and I will send thee unto Pharaoh, that thou mayest bring forth my people the children of Israel out of Egypt. 11 And Moses said unto God, Who am I, that I should go unto Pharaoh, and that I should bring forth the children of Israel out of Egypt? 12 And he said, Certainly I will be with thee; and this shall be a token unto thee, that I have sent thee: When thou hast brought forth the people out of Egypt, ye shall serve God upon this mountain. 13 And Moses said unto God, Behold, when I come unto the children of Israel, and shall say unto them, The God of your fathers hath sent me unto you; and they shall say to me, What is his name? what shall I say unto them? 14 And God said unto Moses, I Am That I Am: and he said, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, I Am hath sent me unto you. 15 And God said moreover unto Moses, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, the Lord God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, hath sent me unto you: this is my name forever, and this is my memorial unto all generations. “It is to be God’s name forever, my memorial unto all generations” see Exodus 3:15-16 Exd 20:7 "You shall not take the name of the LORD your God in vain, for the LORD will not hold [him] guiltless who takes His name in vain. Psa 72:17 His name shall endure for ever: his name shall be continued as long as the sun: and [men] shall be blessed in him: all nations shall call him blessed. YHVH appears 6800 times in the Old Testament. But it’s not translated YHVH LORD = YHVH (Adonai) Lord = Master (Adonai) GOD= YHVH God= (Elohim) EL = short Jehovah = YHVH Yahweh = YHVH YAH = YHVH Exd 20:7 "You shall not take the name of the LORD your God in vain, for the LORD will not hold [him] guiltless who takes His name in vain. I AM = eternal Micah 5:2 states that Israel's Messiah would come from Bethlehem, and He is described as He "whose goings forth have been from of old, from everlasting." This states not only His preexistence but the fact that He has existed from eternity. The term "from everlasting" is, according to A.R. Fausset, "the strongest assertion of infinite duration of which the Hebrew language is capable."1 The term is also used in Psalm 90:2. Psalm 90:2 Before the mountains were born Or You gave birth to the earth and the world, Even from everlasting to everlasting, You are God. In Isaiah 9:6, Israel's Messiah is described as the "everlasting Father" or, as it is better rendered, "Father of eternity". This also points to His existence from eternity past. John 5 New American Standard Bible (NASB) 39You search the Scriptures because you think that in them you have eternal life; it is these that testify about Me; 40and you are unwilling to come to Me so that you may have life. YHVH YHVH LORD = YHVH (Adonai) Lord = Master (Adonai) LORD = YHVH (Adonai) Lord = Master (Adonai) GOD= YHVH God= (Elohim) EL = short Jehovah = YHVH Yahweh = YHVHYAH = YHVH Yahushua הוֹשׁוּﬠְי 1 The first element is YAH, which is the commonly accepted abbreviated form of YHVH 2) The interesting word group that starts with YAH then the Hebrew verb (shua), meaning to be saved or delivered. Yahshua is the name Joshua is a compilation of two elements. Isa 26:3 You will keep [him] in perfect peace, [Whose] mind [is] stayed [on You], Because he trusts in You. Isa 26:4 Trust in the LORD forever, For in YAH, the LORD, [is] everlasting strength. Isa 12:2 Behold, God [is] my salvation, I will trust and not be afraid; 'For YAH, the LORD, [is] my strength and song; He also has become my salvation.’ “ Yahushua הוֹשׁוּﬠְ י I AM the I AM that saves Who am l? Ons lewe in die era van informasie: Nog nooit was soveel inligting binne bereik van die gewone mens op straat nie, tog blyk dit dat inligting nie mense moreel beter maak nie. Net so min as die inligting op ’n sigaret pakkie jou gaan laat ophou rook, net so min gaan inligting jou ‘n beter mens maak. ‘n baie geleerde man wou my eendag kom sien. Sy woorde na ‘n lang gesprek het my getref: “I have exhausted my intellect and cannot seem to find real peace” Later sou hy eenvoudig bely en erken dat hy glo dat Jesus werklik is. Wisdom is a Person. All true wisdom comes from God, He is the source of all true wisdom. Daarom word ons verplig om tot God te nader om wysheid by Hom te bekom. James 1:5-6 Your proximity to the source of wisdom will determine the measure of Godly wisdom you will possess. Wisdom is having the mind of God. The more you think like God, the more you will act like God. Daarom moet ons ons denke laat vernuwe. Rom 12:1 Sy gedagtes is nie ons gedagtes nie. Isa 55:8 Hoe meer jy tyd in die Woord spandeer, (Col 3:16) en lewe gevul deur die Heilige Gees (Eph 5:18) en wandel in dit wat Hy jou leer (
