Do you Bridgerbuddies have some extra traveling this Thanksgiving season? Some extra time in the car, on a plane, or just drowning out your relatives? Well, we've got a sort of on theme bonus podcast for you, bringing it over from the Patreon to the main feed. (Plot summary starts at 9:04 time stamp) We hop back into the Regency Era for the 2005 Jane Austen adaptation of “Pride and Prejudice” starring Keira Knightley. Elizabeth Bennett has to solve a few mysteries before she catches feelings for Mr. Darcy, but our “plain” heroine does just that, while also trying to play wingwoman for her sister Jane. We've got a potato-eating pervert, Mr. Bing Bong, drunk children, a dink with a ponytail, and a nice dad along for this classic ride, and we hope you enjoy it as much as we did. This podcast happened via a request from SEVERAL patron pals, and if you haven't yet, join the fun over there at patreon.com/kevinandjon! The video version of the podcast can be found over there. And as always…rate and review us, you dukes and debutantes.

In which we chat with Bobby Matthews about the hidden singular southern small town, analyzing the complexities of relationships against different socioeconomic backdrops, and what can only be described as brilliant speed writing. We also discuss his new release Living the Gimmick. Bobby Mathews is a writer and journalist based in Birmingham, Alabama. Over the past two years, 22 of his short stories have been published in magazines, websites and anthologies of various stripes, and he was a finalist for a 2021 Derringer Award for flash fiction. A native Southerner, his work often deals with people learning to (hopefully) survive in a slowly changing South. His novel, Living the Gimmick, was released in May 2022 from Shotgun Honey, while Magic City Blues is slated for publication in Spring 2023. When he's not writing fiction, he's covering sports in suburban Birmingham and being a parent to two amazing sons. His recently published work is 'The Swahili Word for Hope,' a literary crime story, was also recently published in The Dillydoun Review. Find him on Twitter and his Website. This podcast is all about taking up the *perfect* amount of space in your life and in your relationships. I jump right into the downfalls of shrinking back and not taking up enough space but I also share about moments when I've noticed what it feels like to take up too much space.

Sorry everyone, I've been trash recently on uploading these in a timely manner... And this episode got away from me completely... Here it is! This one goes off the rails... The maintenance men came into my apartment, and sealed up my bathtub because there were cracks in it... I was not supposed to come back for a while, but I figured what's the worst that could happen, and the answer to that question is this podcast episode...
Misty Knight: “"All right, listen up, everybody. I know you don't wanna be here, but it seems that you are all of interest to some pretty powerful and dangerous people. Now, to protect you, I need your cooperation. Sit tight for now. We'll have more answers soon." Also: Elektra's loyalties are questioned, Colleen clashes with an old acquaintance, and Luke proves he knows how to take a hit. I bring you the FULL series of 13 commentaries for each and every episode! Winner of the prestigious Peabody Award, Jessica Jones is everyone’s favorite alcoholic, smile-free, self-loathing superhero. JJ is a dark, disturbing, but extremely funny and relatable Netflix series that has already been green-lit for second season. JJ is my favorite Marvel property to date, which might come as a shock to those who know the BizzleCast and how much I love the Avengers and Cap movies. JJ offers a new brand of female empowerment that we can all hopefully get behind. No intros here - Queue up any JESSICA JONES on Netflix, set your TV or device to 0'00"00 and hit play on the podcast and your TV at the same time to sync it up! Enjoy, Bizzle Friends. Lots of laughs and chills in this amazing series.

We're back from vacation! This week we're talking about Limp Bizkit's intensely lame stab at the Mission Impossible theme, which, for some reason, is called "Take A Look Around" and almost entirely about hitting back at critics. I talk about how this song definitely affected me for the worse, John Woo's bizarre entry into the Mission Impossible canon, and the painfully uneventful music video directed by Fred Durst himself. We've got kung-fu nose wheelies, exploding Oakley sunglasses, and intensely suspenseful soup-eating. Music We Like: Meat Wave's "The Incessant," Chipmunks on 16 speed Tay-K, and Trouble

Are you jonesing for Jessica Jones? We know we are! Jonesing for Jessica discusses the hit Marvel and Netflix show Jessica Jones episode by episode. Graphic Policy Radio hosts Brett and Elana are discussing the series and are joined each week by special guests. For this episode the team is joined by Kendra James and Darryl Ayo to discuss the twelfth episode "AKA Take a Bloody Number." The hunt for Kilgrave reunites Jessica with Luke. Trish receives some unexpected information about Simpson and Jessica. Double majoring in Cinema Studies and Anthropology, Kendra James graduated from Oberlin College in 2010 and immediately started working in talent management in NYC. When running a blog chronicling her horrible first "real job" experience got boring, she started searching for a writing outlet similar to the ones she'd had in college. That led to a position as the lead Television Correspondent with Racialicious.com (the foremost blog about the intersection of race and pop culture on the web) beginning in 2011. Her writing has been referenced by Gawker, Jezebel, Clutch Magazine, The Root, The Atlantic Wire, and The New York Times. Synopsis for Jessica Jones S01E11 AKA I've Got The Blues Podcast With Hope dead the survivors of restaurant Nika band together to hide the truth of the tragic events from the authorities as Jessica (Krysten Ritter) goes in search of Kilgrave's father whom she expects to find in the hospital morgues across New York City.
