Nikki got the chance to talk with Alex Miranda Cruz, Co-founder of Bravebird, a Madison Based film company about his first feature length film "Trace the Line" and the challenges of creating the film during the Pandemic. Alex also discussed the importance of diversity in filmmaking and storytelling.  Bravebird is based in Madison, Wisconsin and founded by Alex Miranda Cruz and Noel Miranda using their methodology of Cinema Dignité™, it demands diversity from the top-bottom and bottom-up to evolve the messaging framework of the story, inspire new heights of the creative, and fundamentally transform the way narratives depict diversity and gender on-screen. Cinema Dignité leans into the complexity, invests in visceral characters, develops stronger plots, and implements a cinematography that depicts dignity. "Trace the Line" tells the story of two young artists — a Black poet wrestling with his purpose and a white painter facing her privilege Website: https://www.tracethelinefilm.com/   See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

Do filósofo chinês Confúcio (551-479 a.C.). Até o próximo, Papo da Ponte.

I don't exactly hide the fact that I'm a Christian but I also don't regularly talk about it on the podcast. However, I do strongly believe in being transparent about your core beliefs when you're in a place of leadership and, seeing that it's Easter week, I felt the need to address the often-confusing dilemma of mixing your faith with your business. Alex Miranda is a former Miami nightclub promoter who, after having a "come to Jesus" moment, left the nightclubs behind to start the Daily Godpreneur; a personal development brand for Christian entrepreneurs. One topic that's always been of interest to me as a Christian entrepreneur, is the balance between needing money to survive but not worshiping it. During this part of the conversation, Alex summed it beautifully when he said, "The profits are a byproduct of me doing what I’m born to do." In this episode, Alex and I talk about his professional and religious journey, how he sees the Bible as a book on how to run a business, the importance of discovering your calling and then shaping your business around that, how he takes his clients down the path of finding their calling, how to balance your business and being open about your faith, and so much more! "Agora me parece fácil. Outros discos seguiram e tudo aconteceu naturalmente."
