Prawda o polskiej agresji. Dlaczego Polacy nienawidzą kolarzy (103)

Regularnie, co roku piszę i mówię o agresji w Polsce. Robię to wtedy, gdy pojawiają się czynniki wyzwalające. Jestem kolarzem amatorem. Polakiem. Skutek odwrotny. Zmiana przepisów też nic nie da. Mamy dobre przepisy. Takie same jak w całej Europie. 1.
Dlaczego kolarz to największy wróg? 2/10? Określmy to procentowo. A teraz pytanie ilu kierowców ciężarówek łamie przepisy? Wyzywanie całej społeczności, wrzucając wszystkich do tego samego worka, jednocześnie dając przyzwolenie, aby werbalnie i czynnie atakować całą tę grupę uczestników drogi. On TYLKO nie jedzie ścieżką. I tu przechodzimy do kolejnego czynnika dlaczego to kolarz obrywa. Bo jest małe ryzyko, że mnie dogoni. Otworze okno, wydrę się i dodam gazu. Jestem mądry, bo mam gaz, bo mam szybę. Najłatwiej bije się słabego. To jest dokładnie to samo. Ten sam schemat z podstawówki. Dlatego jakbym jechał swoim autem wolno i trzeba było wykonać ten sam manewr to nie usłyszałbym ani klaksonu, ani cudzego otwartego dzioba. 3. Przeciwny pas musi byc pusty by wyprzedzić.
33 ust. 6. –
To zorganizowana kolumna pojazdów.

Jaki peleton? Jacy kolarze? Przecież jestem Ja i mój cel.
Jestem lepszy. Ja mam rację. Jestem JA i ONI.
W odpowiedzi dlaczego pani trąbi usłyszałem „bo ja codziennie tutaj musze Was wyprzedzać a ja tutaj mieszkam, w Skawinie macie ścieżki” – odpowiedziałem „ja też tu mieszkam”. Cisza.
Mogę uderzyć słabszego i uciec. I dwa to brak tradycji kolarskich.

When a shotgun blast tears through your face at point-blank range, survival seems unlikely. But for former Deputy Houston Gast, surviving was just the beginning of an extraordinary journey. On a freezing January morning in 2015, Houston answered a domestic disturbance call that would forever alter his life. The blast from a 12-gauge shotgun shattered his face, knocked out his teeth, and filled his body with metal fragments that remain to this day. Through dozens of surgeries, a complete facial reconstruction, and learning to navigate life with permanent injuries, Houston discovered something unexpected – the power of forgiveness. In this powerful episode, Houston shares the raw details of that fateful day and the grueling recovery that followed. He reveals the moment he made the remarkable decision to forgive the man who nearly killed him, sitting face-to-face with his shooter to say the words that liberated him from hatred. With unflinching honesty, he discusses the departmental abandonment many injured officers face and offers crucial guidance to police leaders on supporting their wounded.Beyond the physical trauma, Houston opens up about the psychological battles – the nightmares, the suicidal thoughts, and the struggle to find purpose when your identity as an officer is threatened. His story isn't just about survival; it's about finding meaning in suffering and the freedom that comes from choosing forgiveness over vengeance. The episode concludes with the team reviewing body camera footage, analyzing law enforcement tactics, and discussing de-escalation strategies that could save lives. Houston's unique perspective as someone who's faced death in the line of duty brings invaluable insight to these discussions.Whether you wear a badge or simply want to understand the human capacity for resilience, this conversation will challenge and inspire you. ASHLEIGH GASS- A CANADIAN IN FLORIDA-MERGING GYMNASTICS STRENGTH TRAINING (Calisthenics) WITH TRADITIONAL STRENGTH TRAINING NUTRITION/MOBILITY/STRETCHING/MOVEMENT/STRENGTH/ www.movegst.com Firstly let me apologise for the very inconsiderate Australian wildlife you will hear in the show- bloody crows and kookaburras!! But I digress- on with the show! Ashleigh Gass- owner of movegst.com, based in Florida, successfully grew her business during the dark ages of 2020-2022 and I was intrigued to find out exactly how she did it. The answer lay in three words- EVOLVE, GROW & DISOBEY. The lockdown saw the team launch online in 2020, at a time much like Body Synergy gym in NZ Dunedin did, and stayed ahead of the curve. We spoke about former Olympic Coach Christopher Sommer's programming and how it saved her body post neural surgery and by simply following the process from baby beginner steps to where she is now- it works.Ash has adapted the exercise programming at movegst.com to combine GYMNASTICS WITH TRADITIONAL STRENGTH TRAINING like kettlebells, dumbbells etc. And they achieve phenomenally surprising fat loss with teaching NUTRITION/MOBILITY/STRETCHING/MOVEMENT/STRENGTH. We talked about the similarities of our processes with clients using empowering nutrition, trusting the programming and not being too tied to the process of weight loss, to achieve great success for the people who are ready to learn. Experts like Professor Andrew Huberman, Dr Peter Attia, Robb Wolff came up in our discussion, and it was great to share the synergies in what we learn, teach and use in our daily lives. Ashleigh Gass is an underrated understated wealth of knowledge, and I am sure you will love watching her videos on Insta

Laugh Tracks Legends of Comedy with Randy and Steve

Time to get your rock and roll shoes on with Tenacious D -- the musical comedy creation of Jack Black and Kyle Gass -- who turned a fun novelty act into an ever more fun worldwide recording and touring machine. When Black and Gass first met in an LA theater troupe they couldn't have known how much their futures would be intertwined. While an early HBO show didn't catch fire, their debut album was a smash -- earning airplay on traditional hard rock stations as well as on comedy shows. The secret is that their music is REALLY good. Both Jack and Kyle are fine musicians and Black is possessed of a voice that would make metal vocalists the world over envious. There is a reason that in their movie "The Pick of Destiny" Jack Black's character (in a flashback to his youth) has a picture of Ronnie James Dio on his wall that he worships (and that talks to him). From there the boys have mixed albums with concert tours and they show no signs of stopping after 30 years. Rock on! And, as always, find extra cuts below (NSFW for sure) and thanks for sharing our shows! Want more Tenacious D? Tenacious D's first breakout song was Tribute -- and it's perfect that they purport to record this version in one of those cheesy recording booths that pop up at parties and clubs. https://youtu.be/_lK4cX5xGiQ? The Face of Latina Professionals

Nallely Suárez Gass has spent her life challenging norms, embracing opportunities, and building meaningful connections. Raised in Chicago to Mexican parents, Nallely grew up understanding the importance of adaptability and resilience. Her journey, from the west side of Chicago to co-founding Drop Needle Drinks, is a story of determination, cultural pride, and fearless ambition. Today, her wine-based ready-to-drink cocktail brand is redefining what's possible in a competitive market, all while staying rooted in quality and authenticity.Growing up in Chicago's vibrant cultural mosaic, Nallely's early years were filled with family gatherings and rich traditions. Everything changed when her family moved to a predominantly white neighborhood during her childhood. This shift made her hyper-aware of her identity as a Latina, shaping how she navigated the world. In high school at Lane Tech, she found a sense of belonging through cultural clubs like Hola and Aspira, which celebrated the diversity within diversity. "Chicago is a bubble of diversity," she says. "You don't realize how special it is until you leave." These formative experiences laid the foundation for her confidence and cultural pride. While pursuing her degree at the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC), Nallely discovered a love for problem-solving through econometrics—a mix of economics and statistics. Her passion for analyzing complex systems carried her into a thriving corporate career at PepsiCo and Molson Coors, where she honed her skills in sales and strategy. But what truly set her apart was her ability to cultivate relationships. “Cheerleaders are everything,” she says. “Focus on the people rooting for you, and don't waste energy trying to win over the naysayers.”Despite her success in the corporate world, Nallely always had an entrepreneurial spirit. In 2019, she launched two businesses simultaneously: a consulting firm and a trucking company. “I was scared one of them might fail, so I started both,” she admits. While the consulting business allowed her to focus on leadership development, the trucking company thrived during the pandemic, employing over 130 people at its peak. “One of my proudest moments was helping my team support their families during such a challenging time,” she says. The experience taught her flexibility, grit, and the importance of asking for help when needed. The idea for Drop Needle Drinks emerged from a collaboration with four former colleagues from her time at Molson Coors. While Nallely joined the team last, she quickly became integral to the brand's success, leading sales and market strategies. “We all have our silos of expertise, and we respect each other's strengths,” she says. Drop Needle Drinks stands out with its wine-based cocktails made from natural ingredients sourced from a family vineyard in Paso Robles, California. The flavors—crafted with real juices—are a reflection of the team's commitment to quality.Entering a crowded market didn't faze Nallely. “It's crowded because there's demand,” she explains. “If you believe in your product and know what makes it unique, go for it.” She emphasizes the importance of differentiation, pointing out that the ready-to-drink cocktail market is one of the fastest-growing segments in the beverage industry. “Our goal was to create something that feels fresh, approachable, and delicious, and I think we've done that.”For Nallely, working with her co-founders has been a masterclass in teamwork. “You have to have clear expectations and hold each other accountable,” she says. “We're all betting big on this, so respect and trust are key.” She believes that successful partnerships stem from understanding and appreciating each person's role. “I don't try to micromanage the creative aspects because that's not my area of expertise. I focus on what I'm good at and trust my team to do the...

TRIGGER WARNING: This episode touches on topics related to suicide. If you're experiencing suicidal thoughts or feeling overwhelmed, support is available. Call or text 988 — it's a free, confidential help line available 24/7. Seeking help is a sign of strength, and we want you to be here. You matter.By nature, humans are drawn to the edge of existence. We hear that unsettling whisper, beckoning us toward danger, and we feel tempted to tip-toe toward it. "The Call of the Void" is a strange and primal phenomenon — thoughts of self-destruction that pop in our minds seemingly out of nowhere — from the urge to jump off a great height or the sudden desire to swerve into oncoming traffic. It's ominous. But it's not as scary as you might think. Here's the paradox: The Call of the Void is not about wanting to die; it's about appreciating what it means to feel alive. These thoughts are a reminder of the pulse of life. It's a way we feel our mortality and sharpen our existence. In this episode, we walk the fine line between intuition and impulse to discover how risk-taking behaviors can be a gateway to spiritual transformation. Risky endeavors can lead us to a "flow state" where we deepen our connection to the universe, leading to peak experiences and even mystical revelations. Are we wired to crave risk as part of our spiritual journey? And what happens when we ignore that inner voice — when we let fear and self-doubt stagnate our potential? We learn from these moments on the edge, when chaos gives way to creation. You are here for a reason, and sometimes, following that gut instinct — even if it feels a little risky — is exactly how you'll feel closer to your purpose. The universe has a collective field of ideas, and if you don't act on that pull toward something extraordinary, someone else will. When the Call of the Void rings, will you take time to listen a little deeper? Or will you be left wondering what could have been?*****************************************Questions / Journal Prompts / Meditations:What's your flow state? When do you find yourself feeling captivated by other people who are in their own flow state or engaging in behaviors you might think are risky? How does watching them make you feel? Why do you think you're captivated by them? What do you want the most in life, and what risks might you need to take to achieve those goals? If you don't know you want, ask yourself what you're afraid of and explore those fears. Chances are, if you get honest about what scares you, you'll be led to revelations about what you want the most.*****************************************Episode Resources:Movie: ThelmaSong: "Heat Death (The End of Everything)" by Sophia JamesBook: "The End of Everything (Astrophysically Speaking)" by Katie MackBook: "Sensation Seeking: Beyond the Optimal Level of Arousal" by Marvin ZuckermanBook: "Flow: The Psychology of Optimal Experience" by Mihaly CsilkszentmihalyiBook: "The Archetypes and the Collective Unconscious" by Carl JungBook: "Religions, Values, and Peak-Experiences" by Abraham MaslowBook: "Adventure Therapy: Theory, Research and Practice" by Gass, Gillis & RussellBook: "Chaos: Making A New Science" by James GleickArticle: "Do You Have The Adventure Gene?"Article: "The Confidence/Competence Loop"Study: "An Urge to Jump Affirms the Urge to Live"*****************************************Podcast & Host Resources:Clairannoyance InstagramClairannoyance TikTokClairannoyance WebsiteMegan's InstagramMegan's TikTokMegan's WebsiteRyan's InstagramRyan's TikTokRyan's Website
