In the first segment (0:29-37:28), Anne from Pikapi Podcast drops in to talk about the music of Pokemon Snap for the N64. Despite being somewhat different from most other Pokemon games, we were able to make some interesting observations about its soundtrack and voice acting. As for the game itself, listen after the outro for that conversation. Our second segment (38:46-43:03) is an interview with Erica Lindbeck from Anime Milwaukee 2020*-you might remember her from episode 7. Since then, she’s done some additional work for Pokemon, this time for the Pokemon Masters mobile game. You’ll find out about that, as well as other projects she’s been involved in. *A press pass was provided for this event. For the first segment (1:03-4:04), I interview the winner of a Super Smash Bros. Ultimate tournament from this year’s Anime Milwaukee. We talk about the game itself, and why he chose Ganondorf for the event. If you'd like to know more about what I did at the convention, look for a link to a recap video in the episode description. The second segment (4:13-48:40) is a discussion of the music of the 15th Pokemon movie, "Kyurem Vs. The Sword of Justice". Anne from Pikapi Podcast helps me compare "Memories" by Rola to "It's All Inside Of You" by Jess Turner. Both performers have some interesting career trajectories, so it's a fun conversation. As usual, we also talk about the opening themes and score, and read a comment or two. Lindsay went to Anime MKE this past weekend as a member of the press representing Beauties and Headcanons for the first time, where in the past she’s been a volunteer there, as well as a parent con-goer. This week she talks with Emily about the experience of going to a convention, and the unique experiences it brings. There was a charity ball she was fortunate enough to be a part of which proceeds went to Generations Against Bullying in Milwaukee, which helps young people go from being a bystander to an upstander- taking a stand against bullying in all its different forms. The girls talk about the different things to do at a convention from family friendly events, the vendor hall, panels, meeting voice actors, gaming and watching everyone’s amazing talents come to life with their cosplay and creativity. They touch on a few important subjects regarding inclusion and acceptance as well as ‘cosplay is not consent’ where it is paramount to be mindful of the great lengths artists and cosplayers go to be creative but respectful. Listen in as Lindsay tells Emily exactly what to expect when she gets to go!

It's time to get to know May's family, and Ash looks like the responsible young man you want to bring home. So much so that Norman and Caroline trust him with their daughter... and their son. I don't think Ash was planning on a babysitting gig, but he warms up to the idea pretty quickly. Tune in to hear how that ended up happening!Pokepress is uploading all sorts of fun interviews from Anime Milwaukee! Like this one with Vic Mignogna! I'm sure I don't have to explain who he is, right? ;)You should also head over to their blog for the Pokepress Digest Podcast and so much more!
This episode has two segments. In the first (0:46-39:24), Anne from Pikapi Podcast returns to discuss the English and Japanese ending themes of Pokémon 4Ever. We talk about the songs themselves, and which one we prefer. Our second segment (39:32-46:57) is from Anime Milwaukee 2017, where I interviewed the winner of the Pokémon Sun & Moon Tournament, who just so happens to be a YouTube Manga reviewer. Find out about his team, and his channel. Note: During the first segment, Anne incorrectly states that Russel Velazquez wrote "Two Perfect Girls" and "Biggest Part Of My Life" on Totally Pokemon.
