Last time Doug Weatherman, COO of Rare Restoration, was on the show, he ended the conversation with a tease: something called Justified was coming, built to give restoration contractors a real weapon against AI driven claims systems like Elysian and Guidewire ClaimCenter. That product is here, and it's called JSTFYD. In this episode, Doug returns alongside Carlos Ramirez, owner of Pure Restore in Denver and the creator of JSTFYD, and Max Pena, who leads marketing for the platform. Carlos built JSTFYD to solve bottlenecks inside his own restoration company, and the results speak for themselves: Pure Restore's net margin went from 11 percent in 2024 to a projected 35 percent in 2025, without a major jump in revenue, largely by catching missed line items, cutting collections staffing from three full time employees down to about 27 hours a week, and hiring for culture instead of restoration experience. Carlos, Max, and Doug break down the four core features of JSTFYD, including a restoration specific AI assistant, a final review tool that has found between 800 and 3,000 dollars in missed scope per job, automated adjuster response drafting that fights delay, deny, and defend tactics, and a comparative tool that flags every discrepancy between two estimates in five to seven minutes.

Ten years ago, Charlotte and her husband took out a mortgage on a derelict farm with no real money and no concrete plan beyond a hunch that animals could change lives. Thus, Elysian was born. Today, that farm supports over 400 young people across three sites, many of whom had stopped attending school altogether before finding their way to her. In this episode, Charlotte shares the personal experience that sparked it all, the early scepticism she had to overcome, and the surprising lesson learned about which animals make the best therapy companions. She also talks about what winning a Special Recognition Award at the Best Business Women Awards meant to her. It's why she was inspired to launch the Elysium Awards. Finally, she shares her vision for professionalising animal assisted intervention across the UK. What is building a large scale battery-powered aircraft was more feasible than originally thought?Our guest on this episode of the podcast, Daniel Rosen Jacobson co-founder and co-CEO of Elysian Aircraft, has come on the podcast to explain how asking the right questions and conducting scientific research laid the groundwork for the truly ambitious project that is the E9X electric airliner.While most electric aircraft projects have focused on the development of smaller aircraft, Elysian Aircraft is taking on the mainstream air travel market with a zero-emissions aircraft concept capable of carrying up to 90 passengers over distances of 1,000 kilometers.This is certainly a bold proposition, but one that, Daniel explains, is well grounded in science and engineering principles laid out by two papers co-authored by researchers at the Technical University of Delft, in The Netherlands.What's more, Elysian Aircraft is backed by Panta Holdings, a company that is no strangers to the world of aviation since it is the owner of Fokker Services Group, which is the remaining part of the iconic Dutch aircraft maker of the same name, now providing a range of MRO and other technical services to aircraft operators. Elysian's take on the future of zero emissions aircraft has also attracted the interest of consolidated industry players such as the Air France-KLM group and leasing firm TrueNoord, both of which have signed collaboration agreements with Elysian Aircraft with a view to potentially using the E9X aircraft one day in the future.This will, for now, have to wait a few years, as Elysian Aircraft refines its concept and builds and tests its first prototypes. In the meantime, though, we can listen to Elysian Aircraft's co-founder and co-CEO, Daniel Rosen Jacobson, explaining the key elements of this projected aircraft and the role he expects it to play in the future of commercial aviation!

Hurray's Girl Beer isn't just another craft brand. It's a calculated rebellion against an industry stuck in the past. In this episode, Hurray's founder Ray Biebuyck joins Taste Radio editor Ray Latif and Brewbound managing editor Jess Infante to share her vision for a beer brand that doesn't just challenge convention, it openly mocks it.
