This episode was recorded on location in San Pedro, Ca. at Peter Schroff's @scrhroffsurfboards  home on a hill with Techno the dog.  Mr. Schroff grew up in Newport Beach.  At age 11, he was given his 1st board, a stolen Hobie that he painted purple, and started surfing every day.  Peter tells us how surfing Newps was back in the late '60s and '70s. Eric Vallely is a 4th generation Newport Beach resident and he has a huge passion for the ocean. He began surfing at the age of 5 at Blackies, which is located next to Newport Pier. He bought a camera and was determined to figure it out. It took a few years to really begin capturing images the way he wanted and imagined them. Todays guest is Jesse Miller. Jesse is a Artist, a Craftsman and a Jack of all trades. He is a product of his environment. His art got traction from a young age by being at the right place at the right time. The son of a surfer, he had been taken to the beach a lot in his youth..growing up surfing Sano and Blackies in Newport. With a chance opportunity he moved schools in high school to Newport Harbor. It was here that he would make connections and start doing art for all of the top brands in the surf industry. Jesse would go on to produce many logos for brands as a freelance artist. His art is unique and draws inspiration from nature an Psychedelic 60's poster art. Other than drawing...he's a master painter, Woodworker, Stained glass Aficionado which is reflective of his current work where he mixes all three. These days Jesse can be seen cruising down to Sano in his Guacamole Green VW Bus or at his annual Sawdust Festival booth in Laguna Beach. Jesse stays busy creating extraordinary art that is sometimes functional but always pleasing to the eye. I took my 1972 VW Bus down to Laguna Beach in to the Canyon and down to a street called Canyon Acres. We met up at his Rootsy Art/Surf shack in a tucked back Ferngully he calls home. Novinky a aktuality z české i světové southern rockové scény. Asphalt Horsemen, Blackfoot a Van Zant za hosty a The Cell, Blackies a Sweet Pain za domácí. A nejen to, samozřejmě...

Libor a Roman Kosinovi z mladoboleslavské kapely BLACKIES byli dlouholetými členy legendární kapely MBA Band a po jejím rozpadu dali dohomady novou formaci, takže si budeme povídat nejen o MBA Bandu a Blackies, ale taky o Summer Southern Session, tedy kultovním českém jižanském festivalu Mlejn, jehož 21.ročník se uskuteční o následujícím víkendu po vysílání tohoto dílu a jehož jsou Roman s Liborem hlavní pořadatelé.

Ve třetí hodince si poslechneme písničky, kterým se říká „freebirdovky“ podle velkého hitu kapely Lynyrd Skynyrd Free Bird. Nebude samozřejmě chybět zmíněná pecka, vedle ní uslyšíte další zahraniční, ale i domácí kapely. Blackfoot, Molly Hatchet, Generál Lee, Blackies nebo Pumpu.
