Latvijas Sabiedriskais medijs (LSM) atzīst, ka radio ziņu segums sabiedrības informēšanā vētras radītās krīzes situācijā nebija apmierinošs, tādēļ Latvijas Radio Ziņu dienesta vadītājs Uģis Lībietis nolēmis atkāpties no amata, norāda LSM. LSM valdes locekle programmu un pakalpojumu attīstības jautājumos Ieva Aile atzīst kļūdas gan rīcības koordinēšanā, gan lēmumu pieņemšanas ātrumā par veicamajām izmaiņām Latvijas Radio 1 programmas veidošanā. "Svētdien radio bija vienīgais informācijas avots tūkstošiem iedzīvotāju, kuri gaidīja daudz plašāku aktuālās situācijas izklāstu. Mēs to apzināmies un atvainojamies ikvienam klausītājam," uzsver Aile. Pirmdien operatīvi tika sasaukta LSM krīzes vadības grupas tikšanās, kurā izvērtēta visu Sabiedriskā medija platformu rīcība vētras laikā. Tajā secināja, ka LSM nodrošināja plašu un nepārtrauktu informācijas apriti digitālajās platformās, televīzijā un radio, ziņu dienestiem un raidījumu veidotājiem strādājot arī ārpus ierastā darba laika, bet radio ziņu segums sabiedrības informēšanā nebija apmierinošs. Neskatoties uz to, ka sakaru traucējumu dēļ arī daļa Sabiedriskā medija darbinieku bija palikuši bez saziņas iespējām, LSM salīdzinoši īsā laikā izdevies mobilizēt papildu cilvēkresursus un nodrošināt plašu aktuālās informācijas apriti dažādās platformās, tostarp iesaistot kolēģus, kuri ikdienā strādā citos satura virzienos un reģionos.  Grupas tikšanās laikā secināts, ka nepieciešams uzlabot savstarpējo komunikāciju, koordināciju un proaktīvu gatavošanos dažādiem notikumu attīstības scenārijiem, kā arī vienoties par lēmumu pieņemšanas algoritmu situācijās, kad kāds būtisks ķēdes posms iztrūkst, piemēram, sakaru traucējumu dēļ. Īpaša uzmanība jāvelta radio lomai krīzes situācijās, jo radio šādos apstākļos iedzīvotājiem kļūst par vienīgo informācijas avotu.  LSM norādīja, ka būtiska nozīme bija arī tam, ka vētras radīto seku mērogs, tostarp pašvaldību un iedzīvotāju skaits, kas bija palikuši ne vien bez elektrības, bet arī bez saziņas iespējām, atklājās pakāpeniski. Informācija par elektroapgādes traucējumiem un vēlāk arī sakaru nepieejamību pieauga dienas gaitā, un sākotnēji nebija pilna priekšstata par situācijas kopējo ietekmi dažādos Latvijas reģionos. Svētdien Latvijas Radio 1 programmā "Labrīt" bija papildu ziņu izlaidumi ik pusstundu. Tāpat Latvijas Televīzijas Ziņu dienests sagatavoja divus ārkārtas ziņu speciālizlaidumus plkst. 12.30 un 15.00, no kuriem pēdējais tika pārraidīts arī Latvijas Radio 1. No plkst. 16.00 līdz 24.00 radio ziņas skanēja katru pusstundu, savukārt LTV Dienas ziņu un "Panorāma" ziņu izlaidumi tika pagarināti, lai iespējami operatīvi un detalizēti ziņotu par aktuālo situāciju valstī.

Tā centrā būs vēsturnieka Andra Levāna stāstījums par klosteri un tā iemītniecēm, viduslaiku dziedājumi "Schola Cantorum Vox Iubilantis" izpildījumā (mākslinieciskā vadītāja Laine Tabora) un Andreasa Teobalda (Andreas Theobald) laikmetīgā skaņu vide. Šos elementus vienotā telpiskā un dramaturģiskā risinājumā savienos režisore Anna Viduleja. Koncertstāsta iecere radusies mūziķei, senās mūzikas pētniecei un interpretei Dr. art. Tostarp, šogad Rīgas Fotogrāfijas biennāles notikumu centrā bija ekoloģija. Arī ISSP rīkotajā starptautiskajā izstādē “Nepastāvīgā laika piezīmes”, kas šobrīd aplūkojama "Veldzes" kvartālā. Tajā apkopoti fotomākslas darbi, kuros kā dienasgrāmatā fiksētas piezīmes par to, kas mūsdienu trauksmainajā laikā cilvēkiem rada stresu saistībā ar vidi un kultūras mantojumu. Par ko vēsta putni, kas pret mums pagriezuši muguras, kustīgās smiltis kāpās un cik lielā mērā mēs to kontrolējam?

Zirgs vēl pirms simts gadiem bija draugs, palīgs un acu raugs daudziem laukos dzīvojošajiem Latvijas iedzīvotājiem. Bez tiem nebija iespēja ne pārvietoties, ne apstrādāt laukus, ne izdarīt jebkādus citus smagus lauka darbus. Tā kā zirgs bija vērtīgs resurss, netrūka arī to, kas kāroja zirgu iegūt vieglā ceļā, tos zogot. Zirgu zagļi bija grūti apakarojama sērga 19. gadsimtā un 20. gadsimta pirmajā pusē. Kas bija slavēnākie zirgu zagļi, kā tos apkaroja un kādus sodus piesprieda zirgu zagļiem? Raidījumā Zināmais nezināmajā plašāk stāsta vēsturnieks un etnogrāfs Uģis Niedre un vēsturnieks, Vidzemes Augstskolas padomes loceklis un vadošais pētnieks Gatis Krūmiņš. "Zirgam pirms simts un vairāk gadiem bija ļoti plaša nozīmē. Viena lieta ir lauksaimniecība, bet noteikti tas ir transports kā tāds, tā ir arī militārā joma. Zirgu pasēs es esmu arī kaut kur pamanījis, ka arī, tāpat kā vīrietim ierakstīju, vai derīgas karaklausībai, tad arī zirgam ierakstīja, vai zirgs ir derīgs karaklausībai. Tam bija milzīga nozīme," atklāj Gatis Krūmiņš.  Bet lielais zirgu skaits radījis arī sarežģījumus, īpaši pilsētā, jo zirgi rada arī mēslus, kuri ir kaut kur jāliek. Jau tajā laikā zinātniekus aicināja meklēt risinājumus, ko darīt ar zirgu mēsliem.  "Zirgs arī bija kā statistikas elements, kas arī parādīja attīstību, turību. Viens no tiem pamatojumiem, kāpēc īpaša situācija ātri uzlabojas Latgalē, ir tieši zirgu skaita pieaugums. Tā ir kā luksusa prece. Un interesanti, kad īstenoja Agrāro reformu, tur bija pieejami dažādi kredīti. Viens no tiem bija zirgu iegādei un tos izķēra pirmos," turpina Gatis Krūmiņš. "Esmu lasījis, ka kādreiz arī vienam otram kalpa zēnam zirgs bija pirmā prioritāte. Tagad arī mēs redzam, ka ir viena otra daudzdzīvokļu māja, dzīvoklis ir noplucis, bet ļoti smalka mašīna pie durvīm. Cilvēka domāšana nav mainījusies. Arī toreiz bija viens otrs, kuram tas zirgs bija augstākā prioritāte. (..) Cenas arī bija ievērojamas. Tajā brīdī, kad rocība pieauga 30. gadu otrā pusē, gadatirgū labu zirgu zem 800 latiem nevarēja nopirkt. Ja mēs skatāmies, cik ilvēki pelnīja laukos, tad alga puisim bija kādi 50 lati mēnesī, tātad 500 latu gadā. Luksusa zirgs maksāja pusotru tūkstoti latu. Tā ir trīs gadu alga. Tas arī skaidro, kāpēc zirgus zaga." Runājot par cenu, Uģis Niedre atklāj, ka 19. gadsimta vidū labs zirgs maksāja 50 rubļu, bet pūru labības, labus rudzus, zemnieks varēja pārdot par 2,5 - 3 rubļiem. Straumējot laiku: ekspozīcijas sadaļa “Dzimis savā kārtā” Turpinām iepazīstināt ar Latvijas Nacionālā vēstures muzeja ekspozīcijas "Straumējot laiku" sadaļām. Šoreiz par kārtu sabiedrību un to, cik muižnieku un zemnieku dzīves bija cieši saistītas – ne tikai zemnieki bija atkarīgi no muižniekiem, bet arī otrādi. Soli pa solim raidījumā stāstām par šo ekspozīciju, kurā līdz ar 5. sadaļu nonākam plašā telpā, bet laikā ziņā esam piestājuši 18. gadsimtā. Remembering the artist Mario Miranda on his birth centenary & how he visualised Shekhar Gupta's chronicle of wartime ‘Hotels in Hell'. Both studs of the mid-to-late 2000s, same stretch of tour years, Dane essentially passing through Taj's established timeline. The two met ten times in heats, Taj taking seven. Medicine is something that everyone's vitally interested in. I have anecdotal proof every time I get something. For instance, when I was just in the UK, I was supposed to speak at an event called Rise. It was on Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday. I didn't speak on Saturday or Sunday; only a little bit on Monday. The last sound that came from my mouth was on Friday night, and the next morning, I couldn't say a word. My voice was locked up. For over two days due to the very kind-hearted nature of devotees, I had a little shelf in my hotel room with no less than twelve different kinds of medicine that were run up. Everybody said, "You take this; it'll knock it out in an hour." Of course, I'm never ever sure—if I take all of them—if it was a combination, or one of the other combinations or permutations, or if it was none at all and I just would have got better myself anyway. But the idea of medicine—auṣadhi or rasāyana—is very appealing. The root word of medicine, med, is Latin; it means "to take appropriate measures." Everyone feels that if I can just adjust a little bit, if I just have the right kind of "goop," then maybe I'll feel better about myself. Some people take analgesics to the extreme because they feel it's really hard to feel good in this world, so they take chemical substances to feel better all the time. But then that doesn't work out because there's a limit to how much you can take; and then you don't get the same effect, and after a while, you just become addicted to it. So, this is a conundrum. In the 1980s, there was a famous musician from San Francisco—so I could talk about him—his name was Huey Lewis. Huey wrote some famous songs. We met Huey once while we were waiting in line for an airplane. Unfortunately, he got a disease where he couldn't hear properly, so he can't sing anymore. But in his day, he wrote many hit songs, and one of them was entitled, "I Need a New Drug." In the song, the lyrics bemoan the fact that there are all these different kinds of cures and drugs—mostly drugs that have severe side effects. The kinds of advertisements we see for pharmaceuticals these days, even though there are billions of dollars put into the research, always have a disclaimer and a warning at the end. In fact, if it's a 60-second advertisement, 10 seconds talks about how good you're going to look after you take this, and the next 50 seconds is about how you might have bleeding ulcers from it and it could cause death. This is a problem. 'Duḥkhauṣadham tad api duḥkham atad-dhiyāham.' Prahlāda Mahārāja says the medicine you get here in the material world is often worse than the disease itself. But in taking the rasāyana-kathā—the topics about Kṛṣṇa—into the ear, it very gently enters the heart. satāṁ prasaṅgām mama vīrya-saṁvido bhavanti hṛt-karṇa-rasāyanāḥ kathāḥ Hṛt means the heart and karṇa means the ear. So you take the medicine here (the ear) and it ends up here (the heart). Teherāna prasīja saglabāt tai īpašu kontroli pār kuģošanu Hormuzā, pārtraukt Izraēlas karadarbību Libānā, atcelt sankcijas un izmaksāt reparācijas, izvest ASV karaspēku no reģiona valstīm un vēl vairāku prasību izpildi. Islāma republika negribēja ne dzirdēt par tās kaujas raķešu spēju ierobežošanu, atbalsta pārtraukšanu tās bruņotajām satelītorganizācijām reģionā un acīmredzot nebija gatava arī atzīt Izraēlas valsts eksistences tiesības. Prognozējamais rezultāts pēc divdesmit vienu stundu ilgušām sarunām iestājās svētdienas agrā rītā, kad abu pušu delegācijas pameta Pakistānas galvaspilsētu. Vienīgais, kas ļauj nepiesaukt pilnīgu fiasko, ir pušu izteikumi par iespējamu procesa turpināšanu. Vakar intervijā izdevumam New York Post prezidents Tramps izteicās, ka sarunas varētu atsākties pat tuvāko pāris dienu laikā. Pirmdien pēc Baltā nama saimnieka pavēles Savienoto Valstu jūras spēki sāka Irānas ostu blokādi. Paredzēts aizturēt jebkuru kuģi, kas dodas uz vai no Irānas ostām; izņēmumi attiecas vienīgi uz pārtikas, medikamentu, kā arī citu civilā pielietojuma pirmās nepieciešamības preču kravām. Tiek gan ziņots par vairākiem potenciāli pārtveramiem kuģiem, kuriem izdevies šķērsot Hormuzu jau pēc blokādes izsludināšanas. No tiem gan tikai viens, iespējams, ir ar Irānas naftas kravu; pārējie kuģojuši no citu Persijas līča valstu ostām, bet ir iekļauti sarakstos kā agrāk sankciju režīmu pārkāpuši. Iespējams, šie kuģi izmantojuši speciālus tehniskus līdzekļus savas patiesās lokācijas slēpšanai. Jebkurā gadījumā Hormuzs joprojām paliek praktiski satiksmei slēgts, to dienā šķērsojošo kravas kuģu skaits ir vien 5 % no pirmskara apjoma. Neskatoties uz to visu, izsludinātā uguns pārtraukšana šobrīd kopumā paliek spēkā, lai gan ir ticis ziņots par atsevišķiem tās pārkāpumiem. Tikām vakar Vašingtonā sarunās ar ASV valsts sekretāra Marko Rubio līdzdalību tikušies Izraēlas un Libānas vēstnieki, kas ir pirmā tiešā tikšanās starp abu valstu pārstāvjiem kopš 1993. gada. Abas puses raksturo sarunas kā produktīvas, tomēr karadarbība Libānā turpinās. Prezidenta Žozefa Auna [a'una] valdība gan deklarējusi mērķi atbruņot organizāciju Hezbollah [hezbollā], kura, apšaudot Izraēlas teritoriju, ir izprovocējusi pašreizējo iebrukumu, taču mēģinājumi to īstenot, visdrīzāk, izraisītu Libānā pilsoņu karu.   Ruszkik haza! „Ruszkik haza!” – „Krievi, ejiet mājās!” Šis lozungs Ungārijā pazīstams kopš 1956. gada, kad padomju okupācijas spēki brutāli apspieda toreizējās Ungārijas Tautas republikas demokratizācijas mēģinājumu, paturot valsti Kremļa orbītā. Starp tiem, kuriem okupantu izveidotais marionešu režīms piesprieda nāvessodu, bija arī bijušais Ministru kabineta priekšsēdētājs Imre Naģs. 1989. gadā, padomju sistēmai brūkot, viņa mirstīgās atliekas tika svinīgi pārapbedītas, un šajā piemiņas mītiņā ar kvēlu runu uzstājās toreizējais demokrātiskās opozīcijas pārstāvis Viktors Orbans. Šo uzstāšanos piesauc kā tobrīd divdesmit sešus gadus vecā jurisprudences doktora Orbana politiskās karjeras sākumu. Kā spilgta likteņa ironija nu ir fakts, ka „Ruszkik haza!” kļuva par uzvaras moto politiskajam spēkam, kas pagājušās svētdienas vēlēšanās izrāva varas grožus no premjerministra Orbana rokām, tā pārtraucot viņa sešpadsmit gadus ilgo varas periodu Ungārijā. Ilggadējais premjers un viņa partija Fidesz būvēja savu kampaņu pēc ierastās antagonizējošās politikas shēmas, šoreiz galvenā ienaidnieka tēla vietu atvēlot Ukrainai un prezidentam Zelenskim. Jo tuvāk vēlēšanām, jo groteskāka un tālāka no realitātes izskatījās premjera argumentācija, tajā pat laikā paliekot parādā atbildes uz aktuālajiem sociālajiem un ekonomiskajiem jautājumiem. Tikām globālajā presē cits pēc cita nonāca slepeni iegūti telefonsarunu fragmenti, kas atklāja vispirms Ungārijas ārlietu ministru Pēteru Sijarto, bet pēc tam pašu Viktoru Orbanu kā īstenus Kremļa režīma pakalpiņus. Visbeidzot pret ilggadējo varasvīru nostrādāja viņa paša modificētā vēlēšanu sistēma, kura dod lielas priekšrocības vairāk balsu ieguvušajai partijai. Tā nu Fidesz [fides] konkurenti – partija Tisza [tisa] ar četrdesmit piecus gadus veco juristu Pēteru Maģaru priekšgalā –, vēlēšanās ieguvusi apmēram piecdesmit trīs procentus balsu, tiks pie vairāk nekā divu trešdaļu supervairākuma parlamentā. Bez Tisza un Fidesz Nacionālajā asamblejā iekļuvuši vēl tikai daži galēji labējās partijas „Mūsu Tēvijas kustība” pārstāvji. Jau pirmie nākamā premjerministra izteikumi liecina, ka viņš ir apņēmības pilns atjaunot normālas attiecības ar Briseli, savukārt Krieviju uzskata par draudu. Katrā ziņā var diezgan droši sagaidīt, ka izbeigsies Budapeštas destruktīvā darbošanās Eiropas Savienībā un NATO, pēdējā laikā jau atklāti sabotējot pretdarbību Krievijas agresijai. Kas attiecas uz iekšpolitiku, Pēters Maģars deklarējis: „Mēs darīsim visu, lai atjaunotu tiesiskumu, plurālu demokrātiju un kontroles un līdzsvara sistēmu.” Var gan jautāt, cik ātri varētu būt izmēžami priekšgājēja sešpadsmit gados piedraņķētie Augeja staļļi. Bagātie arī dumpojas Īrijas iekšzemes kopprodukta apjoms uz vienu iedzīvotāju pārsniedz simt desmit tūkstošus dolāru gadā, ierindojot to starp turīgākajām valstīm pasaulē. Eksperti gan norāda, ka šo statistiku nozīmīgi ietekmē šeit reģistrēto globālo kompāniju, piemēram, Google un Apple peļņas rādītāji, un vidusmēra īru pirktspēja ir salīdzinoši tuvāk Eiropas Savienības vidējiem standartiem. Tomēr zināmu pārsteigumu raisa tas, ka tieši Īrijā uzliesmojuši plaši protesti pret degvielas cenu kāpumu. Pagājušās nedēļas sākumā dīzeļdegvielas cena uzpildes stacijās sasniedza divus eiro un septiņpadsmit centus, un uz valsts ceļiem izripoja smagās lauksaimniecības un transporta tehnikas kolonas, kuras, pārvietodamās mērķtiecīgi lēni, radīja sastrēgumus. Tā kā protestētāji pastiprināti bloķēja tieši ar degvielas piegādi saistīto infrastruktūru, drīz vien daudzās uzpildes stacijās beidzās degviela, tika ziņots, ka tās trūkums apdraud pirmās nepieciešamības preču – pārtikas, ūdens un dzīvnieku barības piegādes. Esot apdraudēts arī operatīvā transporta darbs. Protestētāji bija bloķējuši pieejas valsts vienīgajai naftas pārstrādes rūpnīcai, un radās briesmas, ka tā vairs nevarēs pieņemt jaunas piegādes no tankkuģiem un Īrijai paredzētās naftas rezerves aizies tai secen. Varas iestāžu reakcija bija visai asa. Tieslietu ministrs Džims O'Kalahans brīdinājis, ka ceļu bloķētājiem var atņemt autovadītāju tiesības, savukārt apdrošinātāji var lauzt par viņu tehniku noslēgtos līgumus. Nedēļas nogalē policija ar bruņoto spēku atbalstu sāka atbrīvot stratēģiskās maģistrāles un galvaspilsētas centru, pie kam tas noritēja lielākoties mierīgi, protestētājiem pakļaujoties varas pārstāvju rīkojumiem. Tajā pat laikā premjera Mihāla Mārtina valdība paziņoja par vairāk nekā piecsimt miljonu lielas atbalsta paketes iedarbināšanu, kas ietver gan pagaidu nodokļu atlaidi degvielai, gan plānotā oglekļa nodokļa ieviešanas atlikšanu, gan tiešās subsīdijas lauksaimniekiem un zivsaimniekiem. Var piebilst, ka vienu – 250 miljonu – paketi valdība iedarbināja jau pirms trīs nedēļām, taču protestētāji to uzskatīja par nepietiekamu. Vakar, pēc lielākās opozīcijas partijas Sinn Féin [šin fein] ierosinājuma parlamentā tika sarīkots uzticības balsojums, kuru Mārtina labēji centriskā valdība izturēja. Tikmēr ar īru protestētājiem solidarizējušies arī Norvēģijas smagās tehnikas vadītāji, kuri līdzīgas, gan mazāka apjoma akcijas rīkojuši jau kopš aprīļa sākuma. Norvēģijas valdība arī ieviesusi nodokļu atlaižu un subsīdiju paketi vairāk nekā sešsimt miljonu eiro vērtībā. Nelieli protesti notikuši arī Francijā. ASV sarunās ar Irānu esot labi rezultāti - tā saka ASV prezidents Donalds Tramps. Kaut arī Irāna noliedz, ka jelkādas sarunas notiktu, tomēr pasaules tirgi ir atviegloti uzelpojuši cerībā, ka ļaunākais ir aiz muguras.  Lai gan prezidents Tramps izsakās par drīzām kara beigām Irānā, Izraēla ir apņēmības pilna turpināt un ne tikai Irānā, bet arī Libānā, kur jau vismaz miljons cilvēku pametuši savas mājas, bēgot no Izraēlas armijas sauszemes operācijas. Valstī uzdarbojas teroristiskais grupējums "Hezbollah" un Izraēla ir paziņojusi, ka tā grib likvidēt nebeidzamo apdraudējumu sev kaimiņos. Vairākās Eiropas valstīs šajās dienās ir bijušas vēlēšanas, kuru rezultātiem ir vērts pievērst uzmanību. Francijā gadu pirms prezidenta Emanuela Makrona pilnvaru beigām notika vietvaru vēlēšanas, Slovēnijā izraudzīts jauns parlaments un arī Dānijā vakar bija ārkārtas parlamenta vēlēšanas. Eiropā ikviena šāda tautas izvēle ir svarīga, jo tā arī nozīmē, kāds būs konkrētās valsts ārpolitikas kurss. Notikumus komentē Nacionālās aizsardzības akadēmijas pasniedzējs Jānis Kapustāns un Austrumeiropas politikas pētījumu centra pētnieks, valdes loceklis Mārcis Balodis. Libāna – svešas varas un ieroči, pašu zeme un asinis Priekšvēsture pašreizējai Izraēlas Aizsardzības spēku sauszemes operācijai Libānā aizsākās 2023. gadā, kad pēc grupējuma „Hamas” teroristiskā iebrukuma Izraēlā un Gazas kara sākuma grupējuma „Hezbollah” no Libānas teritorijas uzsāka Izraēlas ziemeļdaļas raķešu apšaudes. Šis šiītu reliģiski politiskais veidojums ir, no vienas puses, oficiāli atzīta Libānas politiskā partija, no otras – militarizēts teroristisks formējums, galvenais Irānas Islāma republikas sabiedrotais reģionā. Pēc tam, kad 2024. gada rudenī Izraēla bija īstenojusi pret „Hezbollah” sekmīgas speciālās operācijas, nogalinot tās vadītāju Hasanu Nasrallu un vairākus citus komandierus, kā arī sākusi sauszemes iebrukumu Libānas dienvidos, starp Izraēlu un Libānu tika panākta vienošanās par uguns pārtraukšanu. Saskaņā ar to Libānas valdības spēkiem bija jāpārņem savā kontrolē rajoni, kuros līdz tam saimniekoja „Hezbollah”, tā garantējot, ka Izraēlas teritorija vairs netiks apdraudēta. Tomēr šī vienošanās tā arī netika pilnībā īstenota, kas pierādījās šomēnes, kad pēc Izraēlas un Savienoto Valstu uzbrukuma Irānai „Hezbollah” atkal raidīja pret Izraēlu raķetes un lidrobotus. Pretim tika saņemti vispirms precīzi Izraēlas gaisa spēku triecieni pa grupējuma objektiem kā Libānas dienvidu rajonos, tā galvaspilsētā Beirutā, kas neizbēgami izraisīja civiliedzīvotāju upurus. Izraēlas brīdināja apmēram 50 ciemu iedzīvotājus evakuēties uz teritorijām ziemeļos no Litānī upes, un tiek ziņots, ka karadarbības rezultātā kopš mēneša sākuma savas dzīvesvietas pametuši apmēram miljons cilvēku. 16. martā Izraēlas spēki uzsāka plaša mēroga sauszemes iebrukumu Libānā, iesaistoties kaujās pret „Hezbollah”  vienībām. Libānas valdības spēki atvilkās uz ziemeļiem, vairoties iesaistītes karadarbībā, tomēr to sastāvā ir vairāki bojāgājušie. Smagi ievainoti divi reģionā dislocēto Apvienoto Nāciju miera uzturēšanas spēku karavīri. Savukārt civiliedzīvotāju upuri kopš marta sākuma jau sasnieguši vairāk nekā tūkstoti bojāgājušo un tuvu pie trīs tūkstošiem ievainoto. Šobrīd Izraēlas spēki turpina izvērst sauszemes operāciju, tai skaitā metodiski iznīcinot tiltus pār Litānī un pārtraucot komunikāciju starp apmēram 10% Libānas teritorijas valsts dienvidos un pārējo valsts daļu. Viens no premjera Netanjahu kabineta radikālajiem locekļiem, finanšu ministrs Becalels Smotričs izteicies, ka Izraēlai būtu jāanektē teritorija dienvidos no Litānī, savukārt aizsardzības ministrs Izraēls Kacs paziņojis, ka Izraēlas Aizsardzības spēki plāno uz nenoteiktu laiku okupēt šo Libānas daļu, izveidojot tur buferzonu. Libānas valdība raksturojusi šos plānus kā eksistenciālu draudu. Tajā pat laikā no Libānas ticis izraidīts Irānas vēstnieks, kas liecina par Beirutas vēlmi atbrīvoties no Teherānas režīma ietekmes. Francija – vēlam mēru, domājam par prezidentu 15. martā notikušās Francijas pašvaldību vēlēšanas ir apjomos grandiozs pasākums. Valstī ir nepilni 35000 komūnu, attiecīgi, par mēru un padomju deputātu amatiem šais vēlēšanās sacentās vairāk nekā miljons kandidātu. Tomēr kvantitāte nav galvenais, kāpēc franču vietvaru vēlēšanām pievērsta arī nozīmīga starptautiska uzmanība. Šo vēlēšanu rezultāti tiek uzlūkoti kā indikators spēku samēriem un potenciālajai politiskajai dinamikai nākamgad gaidāmajās Francijas prezidenta vēlēšanās. Jāatzīmē, ka daudzviet mazajās un vidējās pašvaldībās, pavisam 50 līdz 60 procentos komūnu, varu ieguvuši neatkarīgie vai lokālo partiju pārstāvji bez piesaistes valsts mēroga spēkiem. Kas attiecas uz lielākajām pilsētām, tajās joprojām dominē tradicionālās kreisās partijas, kas nākamajā ciklā vadīs līdz pat ceturtdaļai no visām franču pašvaldībām. Parīzes mērs būs sociālists Emanuels Greguārs, viņa partijas biedrs Benuā Paijāns paliks otras lielākās pilsētas Marseļas mēra amatā, sociālistu mēri būs arī Nantē, Monpeljē, Lillē un Strasbūrā, pēdējā gan ar centristu atbalstu. Savukārt ceturtajā lielākajā pilsētā Lionā amatu paturēs Zaļo partijas pārstāvis Gregorī Dusē. Spēcīgas pozīcijas saglabā tradicionāli labēji centriskie spēki, kas koncentrējas ap liberālkonservatīvo Republikāņu partiju un dominē vidējā lieluma pilsētās un biezāk apdzīvotajos lauku rajonos, pavisam apmēram sestdaļā vietvaru. Republikāņu pārstāvis Ēriks Sjoti kļūs par mēru piektajā lielākajā pilsētā Nicā, šeit gan ar izšķirošu atbalstu no galēji labējās Nacionālās apvienības, kura to uzskata par savu uzvaru. Kopumā franču „nacionāļiem” izdevies vairakkārt palielināt pārstāvniecību pašvaldībās, gan tālu atpaliekot no ambiciozajiem priekšvēlēšanu mērķiem. Iemesla gausties nav arī prezidenta Makrona pārstāvētajiem liberāli centriskajiem spēkiem. Prezidenta sociālliberālās partijas „Renesanse” pārstāvis Tomā Kazenāvs kļūs par Bordo mēru, savukārt „Renesanses” stabilāko sabiedroto, labēji centriskās partijas „Horizonti” līderis Eduārs Filips vadīs Havras pašvaldību. Bijušais premjerministrs Filips tiek uzskatīts par nopietnu kandidātu nākamgada prezidenta vēlēšanās. Plaša labēji centriskā koalīcija nodrošinājusi amatu valsts trešās lielākās pilsētas Tulūzas galvam, neatkarīgajam kandidātam Žanam Likam Mudankam. Uz būtisko jautājumu – vai funkcionē kreiso, centrisko un mēreni labējo „sanitārais kordons”, kam jāatur no varas labējie radikāļi? – atbilde ir piesardzīgi pozitīva. Frederiksenas likme nevinnē Vakar, 24. martā, Dānijas karaļa pavalstnieki devās pie vēlēšanu urnām, lai piešķirtu mandātus simt septiņdesmit deviņiem parlamenta – Folketinga – deputātiem. Šīs bija ārkārtas vēlēšanas, kuras iniciatore bija premjerministre, Sociāldemokrātiskās partijas līdere Mete Frederiksena. Stājoties pie sava otrā kabineta vadības 2022. gadā, politiķei nebija ne jausmas, kādi izaicinājumi viņu sagaida, proti, ka būs jāiztur Donalda Trampa nediplomātiskā grābāšanās ap Grenlandi. Pēc visa spriežot, neordinārā starptautiskā spiediena situācija radījusi zināmas plaisas Frederiksenas valdībā, ko veido centriski orientēta koalīcija ar sociāldemokrātu, konservatīvi liberālās partijas „Venstre” un liberālās Mēreno jeb Moderātu partijas piedalīšanos. Nu jau vairākas desmitgades dāņu politiskajā spektrā iezīmējas tradicionāla robežšķirtne starp t.s. „sarkano bloku” un „zilo bloku”,  respektīvi, kreisajām un labējām partijām, kur sociāldemokrāti ir sarkanie, „Venstre” – zilie, savukārt mērenie iestājas par šī dalījuma pārskatīšanu un par savas partijas krāsu izvēlējušies violeto. No otras puses, pretstāvē ar Baltā nama ekscentriķi Frederiksena ieguvusi nozīmīgu individuālās popularitātes kapitālu, ko varēja cerēt konvertēt partijas politiskajā svarā. Ja tāds bija aprēķins, tas neattaisnojās. Sociāldemokrāti šais vēlēšanās izrādījušies lielākie zaudētāji, viņu mandātu skaitam sarūkot no piecdesmit uz trīsdesmit astoņiem. Otrs lielākais zaudētājs ir „Venstre”, kuru no otrās pozīcijas parlamentā uz trešo atbīdījusi Zaļo kreiso partija, kuru vada vēl viena prominenta dāņu kreisā politiķe Pia Olsena Dīra. Lielākie ieguvēji ir labējie populisti un nacionālisti no Dāņu tautas partijas Mortena Meseršmita vadībā, kuri trīskāršojuši mandātu skaitu. Nedaudz zaudējuši arī mērenie, taču situācijā, kad vietu skaits parlamentā sadalījies visai līdzīgi starp „sarkanajiem” un „zilajiem”, tieši līdzšinējā ārlietu ministra Larsa Lekes Rasmusena vadītais spēks var nodrošināt koalīcijai nepieciešamo balsu skaitu. Par ticamāko tiek uzskatīta kreisi centriska koalīcija, kurā apvienotos sociāldemokrāti, zaļie kreisie, mērenie un Sociālliberālā partija. Koalīcijas veidošanas sarunas uz notikušo vēlēšanu fona, kad ārpolitiskos izaicinājumus zināmā mērā aizēnojušas iekšējās problēmas, nesolās būt vieglas. Jaunā Slovēnijas parlamenta raibākā mozaīka Kārtējās parlamenta vēlēšanas Slovēnijā nesa sarūgtinājumu iepriekšējā cikla favorītiem – līdzšinējā premjerministra Roberta Goloba sociālliberālajai partijai „Brīvības kustība”. 2022. gadā šis spēks ieguva četrdesmit vienu no deviņdesmit deputātu mandātiem, kas bija līdz šim spožākais kādas partijas sniegums neatkarīgās Slovēnijas vēsturē. Uzvaru noteica sabiedrības neapmierinātība ar iepriekšējo – labēji populistisko Slovēnijas Demokrātiskās partijas un tās līdera Janeza Janšas valdību. Taču Goloba kabinets, kuru „Brīvības kustība” veidoja kopā ar sociāldemokrātiem un Kreiso partiju, zaudēja popularitāti veselības aprūpes problēmu, dzīvokļu dārdzības un biežo ministru demisiju dēļ. Kā kritisks moments tiek minēts arī valdības lēmums 2024. gadā atzīt Palestīnas valstiskumu, kas izrādījās lielai daļai sabiedrības nepieņemami. Spriežot pēc mandātu sadalījuma, vēlētāju balsis gan lielākoties pārceļojušas nevis pie Janšas labēji konservatīvajiem populistiem, bet pie diviem parlamenta jaunpienācējiem. Viena no šīm partijām ir labēji centriskā Demokrātu partija ar kādreizējo Janšas kabineta ārlietu ministru Anži Logaru priekšgalā, otra – partija „Resni.ca”, kuru vada bijušais policists Zorans Stevanovičs. Šis spēks izauga no vakcīnskeptiķu un pandēmijas ierobežojumu pretinieku protesta kustības, un tā programmā ir arī eiroskepticisms, cīņa pret korupciju, nodokļu mazināšana un līdzīgi motīvi. Rezultātā Slovēnija ir tikusi pie parlamenta, kurā diviem lielākajiem spēkiem ir teju vienāds vietu skaits un miglainas izredzes izveidot koalīciju. Robertam Golobam šai nolūkā būtu jāpiesaista līdzšinējiem kreisi centriskajiem arī kāds no labējākajiem spēkiem – Demokrātu partija vai trīs konservatīvo partiju bloks „Jaunā Slovēnija – Kristīgie demokrāti”. Šīm partijām ideoloģiski tuvāka ir Janšas Slovēnijas Demokrātiskā partija, taču tad būtu jāņem koalīcijā arī vakcīnskeptiķi no „Resni.ca”, vai jāmēģina piedabūt sadarboties sociāldemokrāti, kas esot maz ticams. Vēl viena iespēja ir Golobam atstum līdzšinējos sabiedrotos Kreiso partiju un piesaistīt viņu vietā mēreni labējos demokrātus un kristīgos demokrātus – aritmētiski iespējama, taču ideoloģiski raiba kombinācija. Growing up in Massachusetts, he made his way to Southern California in the mid-1960s where he formed the Group Rising Sons with Ry Cooder, Jessie Lee Kincaid, and Kevin Kelley. They signed with Columbia Records but, upon disbanding, Taj joined forces with guitarist Jesse Ed Davis and remained on the label as a solo artist. After a dozen albums with Columbia, he moved to Warner Bros. Records in the mid-1970s. Following a period spent living in Hawaii and largely out of the limelight in the 1980s, he ultimately reemerged for a new era of commercial success. Taj has been nominated for 18 Grammy Awards, winning five, including Best Contemporary Blues Album in 1997, 2000, 2008, and 2018, and best Traditional Blues Album in 2022 and 2025. He has received the Lifetime Achievement Award from both the Americana Music Association and the Recording Academy.
