However, many people — even children — are experiencing hormone disruptions today.[03:37] Jackie: "It's really our practices, focusing on how the body was designed by God, and how can we work with it to really help that person heal through all stages of life."Jackie tries to help people return to what she believes is the body's "natural" state. She thinks that's what God intends for the human body. Her journey began when she went to Church, and the message was about procrastination. Shame. Fear. Identity crisis. Our generation—especially young adults and parents—is silently drowning in hidden battles. We long for freedom, yet so often search for it through striving, rituals, or more information. All the while, we navigate deep waters of confusion, facing demonic resistance and relentless cultural pressure. Does God still show up in the chaos? Can Jesus really meet us in our mess—just as He did the woman at the well? And when we finally meet Him — can we still find it in ourselves to wholly and completely surrender to God?In this episode of the Revelations Podcast, host Reagan Kramer welcomes Laurel Bunker: preacher, educator, and spiritual mother to many. With over 30 years of ministry in higher education and nonprofit leadership, Laurel shares her deeply personal journey from performance-based religion to radical intimacy with the Living Word. She opens up about confronting demonic oppression, overcoming self-hatred, and raising daughters in a world flooded with lies.Rooted in the story of the woman at the well, this conversation is a call to lay down shame, reclaim identity, and rise in kingdom authority. If you're weary from the fight, questioning your worth, or longing to hear God's voice again—pause. Take a seat by the well. Encounter Jesus. Surrender to God; drink deeply of His grace and be restored. Here are three reasons why you should listen to this episode:Gain biblical clarity on how to surrender to God and live fully in “Spirit and Truth,” beyond mere rituals and religion.Understand how shame, demonic influence, and the culture of people-pleasing hinder identity.Learn how a transformational encounter with Jesus breaks lifelong bondage, as told through Laurel Bunker's story.Become Part of Our Mission! I'm giving it all away for Jesus now, you know. We got to redeem the time.”The cultural tension between Jews and Samaritans sets the stage for Jesus' radical act of compassion and revelation. This moment shatters cultural shame and personal guilt, proving Jesus meets people right where they are.[9:01] Transformation and Worship in Spirit and TruthOne conversation with Jesus turns the Samaritan woman into an evangelist to her entire town. Her transformation ripples outward, showing that personal encounters with truth can spark collective revival.According to Laurel, true worship isn't tied to a location or ritual. Instead, we must act our faith through a surrendered, Spirit-filled life.Living in spirit and truth becomes more than theology—it becomes a multiplying force of freedom.[20:25] Challenges and Encouragement for BelieversLegalism, shame, and spiritual burnout are real struggles for modern believers.Laurel shares how her own religious performance led to exhaustion and how encountering Jesus brought lasting freedom.[22:51] Laurel: “I promise you, growing up all the way into my 20s, in my early 20s, I would look at Christ or images of him, or Christ on the cross, and I wouldn't know who- I didn't know who he was.”Wounds from church experiences don't have to write the final chapter of your faith. Healing and purpose remain possible when we surrender to God.Believers are encouraged to live a lifestyle of repentance, humility, and unfiltered honesty before God.[32:28] The Power of the Holy Spirit in Modern TimesThe Holy Spirit isn't a concept confined to the early church—it's a present force guiding and healing today.Laurel shares stories of spiritual breakthrough and reminds believers that revival begins with personal obedience.Following Jesus means actively listening, discerning, and stepping into purpose led by the Spirit. The call is clear: lean into the Holy Spirit's presence and let Him do the work only He can do.[40:49] Addressing Shame and Finding Freedom in ChristShame distorts identity and silences spiritual authority, but it doesn't have the final word. Laurel herself has journeyed through a valley of deep shame — but Christ's love shattered every lie.Freedom came not through hiding, but through confession and grace. Through the relentless pursuit of truth, she was able to surrender to God.Listeners are urged to stop hiding, start healing, and reclaim their place as sons and daughters of the King.[47:20] Reagan: “That's what Jesus does. He unites people. He does so because he's bringing people together through the truth of the gospel.”[48:40] Living a Life of Worship and ServiceBeing able to surrender to God and worship goes beyond music—it's found in daily acts of obedience, faithfulness, and service.Laurel encourages believers to discover how their unique gifts can be expressions of worship.Even small acts of faithfulness carry weight in the Kingdom when done in love and obedience.Listeners are reminded that God honors hearts surrendered in both the big and the quiet, hidden places.[55:16] Understanding the Spiritual JourneyLiving by the Spirit requires intentional daily surrender.Laurel explains how believers must crucify the flesh and embrace the eternal life birthed through the Spirit. The Holy Spirit becomes the source of joy, healing, and clarity in a chaotic world. It's not about trying harder, but walking in step with the Spirit who renews us from the inside out.[1:03:38] Laurel: “I refuse to give human beings and this world more praise and more of my energy and my day than I give the one who gave his life for me.”[1:12:22] An Invitation to Surrender to GodRather than striving to fix what's broken, listeners are encouraged to sit with Jesus—just as they are—and receive the healing that only His love can bring. No weapon formed against you will prosper. No lie of the enemy can stand against the truth of your identity in Christ.Say yes to restoration. Say yes to Jesus. Surrender to God and let your journey of healing begin—right here, right now.About LaurelLaurel Bunker is a seasoned preacher, educator, and spiritual leader with over three decades of ministry experience across higher education, nonprofits, and the local church. Death, judgment, the end—these terrifying visions marked by chaos, the Mark of the Beast, and a looming Antichrist often haunt believers' imaginations. For many, eschatology stirs a mix of fear and fascination, shaped by teachings of a coming tribulation or a rapture to escape it all. But what if the story of Revelation isn't a distant prophecy to dread, rather a historical and spiritual reality that shifts how we live today? The Bible offers clarity, not confusion, and understanding its context can replace anxiety with purpose.Jenny Mire returns to discuss the mysteries of eschatology in this episode of The Revelations Podcast. Host Reagan Kramer welcomes back this beloved guest from The Rooted Truth, continuing their conversation from “Freedom from Fear: Understanding the End Times.” Jenny dives deeper into the Mark of the Beast, the fall of the Second Temple, and the transition from the Old to New Covenant. With historical insight and scriptural grounding, she challenges modern assumptions about Revelation, Daniel's 70th Week, and the Olivet Discourse—pointing to a Kingdom already at work. This episode is for anyone wrestling with fear of the end times. Fear not the end. Revelation is less about destruction and more about embracing God's plan. And when we do that, I think things make more sense.”The Bible wasn't written to us directly, yet its living truth shines through when viewed through the lens of its original audience. Between Christ's death in 30 AD and the Second Temple's fall in 70 AD, a 40-year window unfolds, rich with meaning for understanding prophecy. This period marks a covenantal shift, urging listeners to rethink timelines and contexts often overlooked in modern teachings.[7:09] The Overlapping CovenantsJenny delves into the overlapping covenants during the 40 years between Christ's death and the fall of the Second Temple.Hebrews 8 reveals the New Covenant's superiority, with Jenny reading how the old system grew obsolete yet lingered until the temple's destruction. The temple stood as symbolism for  "heaven and earth," a concept rooted in Jewish thought and detailed by historian Josephus. Christ's blood at the Last Supper seals the New Covenant, coexisting with the fading old until 70 AD, when its end reshapes everything.[23:16] The Kingdom of God and the Early ChurchJesus' words in Mark 1:14 and Luke 17:20-21 declare the Kingdom of God as a present reality within us. [25:39] Jenny: “The kingdom of God is not coming with signs to be observed, nor will they say, look, here it is. There it is, for behold, the kingdom of God is in your midst.” Quoting Luke 17:20-21Parables like the mustard seed and leaven illustrate its gradual, unstoppable growth, a vision the early church embraced amid shifting covenants. Daniel's prophecy of a stone crushing empire aligns with this first-century arrival, as believers saw Christ's reign begin. Living in the "last days" of the Old Covenant, they focused on spreading the gospel, not awaiting a far-off end.[34:13] The Mark of the Beast and Historical ContextJenny explains the different views on the Mark of the Beast, including the spiritual mark and the literal mark.[36:03] Jenny: “He causes all those small and great, rich and poor, free and slave to receive a mark on their right hand and on their foreheads, and that no one may buy or sell except those who have the mark or the name of the beast or the number of his name.” Quoting Revelation 13:16-17Revelation 13's imagery of a mark on hand or forehead ties to first-century Rome.Nero's rule demanded allegiance for marketplace access—ashes marked those who bowed to Caesar. Persecution surged as Christians refused, facing exclusion or worse, a reality Josephus records with chilling detail. The number 666 (or 616 in some texts) links to Nero's name in ancient numerology, grounding this symbol in history, not future dread.[45:59] The Antichrist and the Abomination of DesolationConfusion swirls around the Antichrist, a term absent from Revelation but vivid in John's letters as a first-century Gnostic heresy denying Christ's flesh. History unfolds with the "abomination of desolation" in 70 AD, when Roman armies surrounded Jerusalem, fulfilling Jesus' warning in Matthew 24 and Luke 21. Christians fled as God provided an escape, leaving no record of their deaths amid the temple's ruin. This event, as explained in Daniel, dismantles futurist expectations of a third temple, rooting prophecy in the past.[57:25] The Mission of the Church and Spiritual Gifts[58:27] Reagan: “Lord, what do you want to teach me? You know, through this, and I find… when I don't go to all the resources I have, like, I get so excited because I think he is teaching me through the power of the Holy Spirit.”Jenny emphasizes the mission of the church to share the gospel and make disciples.Spiritual gifts ignite this calling, edifying the body of Christ to fill the earth, as Jenny envisions a mature church triggering Jesus' return. Humbling ourselves before the Holy Spirit unlocks this purpose, shifting focus from fear to action. Attacking the enemy's vulnerabilities, not just observing his moves, defines the church's offensive role in this Kingdom age.[1:08:01] Eschatology and Our CallingClarity replaces chaos when eschatology aligns with history. Again, Revelation is less about destruction and more about Christ's triumph. Freedom flows from shedding futuristic fears—no Antichrist looms, no temple awaits rebuilding—leaving us to live boldly now. Jenny's journey with The Rooted Truth (therootedtruth.com) offers tools like Bible studies on Revelation, Daniel. Let us embrace our identity as Kingdom ambassadors, rooted in peace and purpose for today.About JennyJenny Mire is a passionate Bible teacher, author, and co-founder of The Rooted Truth, where she equips believers to dig deep into Scripture and live out their faith with boldness. Mullen's mentorship. He shares his pivotal moment at 11, choosing America's Got Talent over a Belize trip, becoming a finalist and facing the lure of secular success.Despite giving glory to God on the show, he admits to running from his calling, wanting freedom to chase his own desires while still loving Jesus.[05:41] God Redeems Quintavius's Childhood ExperiencesQuintavius reveals how international fame from America's Got Talent was misused for self-interest, a pattern God is now redeeming for His glory.[5:41] Quintavious: “After I fully submitted to Him, got saved, filled the Holy Ghost again, He now has allowed me to redeem that he is redeemed again. Now I was on the national, international stage, and I am making his name great, and it's for the purpose of God.”He opens up about misunderstood spiritual gifts—like seeing visions—initially confusing them for demonic or medium-like experiences due to lack of guidance.A turning point came when he surrendered fully to Christ, allowing God to refine these gifts for prophetic ministry and deliverance of others.Reagan connects this to listeners, noting how God's protection kept Quintavius from darker paths, now using his platform to win souls.[20:50] Demonic Torment During Early YearsQuintavius claims to have had chilling encounters with demons in elementary and middle school, like beds shaking and hearing hoof-like footsteps, fueling a spirit of fear. The enemy exploited his ignorance, tormenting him with nightmares and voices urging harm, aiming to silence his future calling.Quintavius credits the Holy Spirit for guiding him to fast and pray—sometimes for weeks—leading to physical deliverance, like vomiting out demonic influences. He mentions influential figures like Alexander Pagani and his pastor Shelley Morrison, whose teachings and hugs broke spiritual chains.Dreams once filled with torment became tools of deliverance as he rejected demonic offers in sleep, waking up free by God's power.[32:54] Bringing His Spiritual Gifts to the World StageQuintavius reluctantly joined American Idol after receiving persistent invitations. He sang “Alabaster Box” for judges Katy Perry, Lionel Richie, and Luke Bryan. He felt the song was a powerful movement—Katy cried, Lionel claimed he felt God's presence, and Luke likened it to a baptism—shifting the show's atmosphere.Behind the scenes, revival broke out: crew members and contestants got saved, atheists turned to Christ, and the theme changed from gladiators to classmates.[37:38] Quintavious: “They literally started calling it revival. It was such a revival of the love of God and of the power of the Holy Ghost that people want to get more.”Quintavious' performances are on his Instagram, demonstrating how his worship visibly carried the Holy Spirit to impact thousands.[42:28] God's Permission, or God's Plan?Quintavius reflects on a misstep during American Idol; he chose a song God permitted but didn't ordain, learning that lawful actions aren't always in line with God's wishes.Despite the permission, not following God's exact plan halted his progression. He learned to prioritize precise obedience over rationalized choices.[49:19] Reagan: “God's opening doors, well, why? Because you've been faithful, you've screwed up. He's the God of second chances.”He shares how God still redeemed this, as a viral “12 Days of Christmas” video in December 2024 brought greater reach than the show, saving lives and opening doors.[52:53] Staying Faithful to God's Call TodayQuintavius stresses prayer, fasting, and staying rooted in Scripture to balance his dual presence in gospel and secular spheres, keeping his focus on God's assignment. He credits his local church community for grounding him, offering safety in counsel and keeping pride at bay as his influence grows.[53:31] Quintavious: “I stay faithful to my church community. Having a community around you is important, you know, the multitude of counsel, there is safety.”His mission bridges worlds, bringing salvation to both gospel artists who don't live it and secular folks unaware of Jesus, acting as a “secret agent” for the Kingdom.Quintavius envisions God deepening his intimacy with the Spirit and expanding his ministry globally, not just in industry fame but in soul-winning across nations. He sees himself growing as a leader in the body of Christ, shaped by ongoing lessons in manhood and stewardship of his gifts. His local church remains vital, providing covering and training—like casting out demons in outreach—keeping him humble and accountable.[1:00:49] Encouraging the LonelyQuintavius encourages trusting God over self, rejecting the lie of isolation. God has a community for everyone. He advises praying for revelation of that community, warning against the enemy's tactic to isolate and confuse through lack of guidance. The body of Christ is collective, not solitary, and finding a church or group stirs gifts and offers support.Reagan prays for Quintavius, asking for strategic discernment, protection, and boldness to spread the gospel worldwide through his voice.Quintavius requests prayer to steward his transition well, avoiding procrastination and aligning with God's will as his influence rises.About QuintaviousQuintavius Johnson is a worship and gospel singer, prophetic minister, and dynamic voice for God's Kingdom, celebrated for his powerful testimony and anointed performances. Rising to fame as a finalist on America's Got Talent at age 12, he later captivated audiences on American Idol in 2024, where his singing sparked revival and led souls to Christ. With a background rooted in church choirs and a family of singers, Quintavius discovered his spiritual gifts early, navigating demonic torment and prophetic visions that God has since redeemed for deliverance and global ministry. Now 23, Quintavius bridges the secular and gospel worlds, using platforms like his viral “12 Days of Christmas” video to spread hope and salvation. A faithful servant in his local church, he ministers through worship, intercession, and outreach, drawing from years of intimacy with the Holy Spirit to cast out demons and ignite faith. for a deep spiritual dive.Returning guest Marjorie Cole, founder of Life Recovery, steps back into the conversation, building on their earlier exploration of bloodline curses.Years of counseling and deliverance fuel Marjorie's enthusiasm, revealing a wealth of insights yet to uncover about breaking generational strongholds.[04:17] Decoding the Roots of Generational CursesSeven books and decades of experience shape Marjorie's mission to equip people with knowledge about spiritual battles and bloodline patterns.Proverbs 26:2 weaves into the discussion, highlighting that curses have causes—reasons that believers can tackle rather than accept as fate. The absence of "coincidence" in Hebrew sparks a call to dig deeper, pushing past surface explanations like bad luck to find the true source.Jesus' forgiveness lays the foundation, but enforcing it becomes the key to stopping generational woes, turning passive faith into active victory.[10:17] Marjorie: “There's a designer and there is a predictable pattern… So when you see that, you know there's an intelligent, something, entity, behind these calamities, behind these troubles.”[10:55] Fear, Witchcraft, and the Enemy's footholdMarjorie connects fear and witchcraft as drivers of ancestral agreements, often made subconsciously for blessings, giving Satan legal groundReagan shared an example through infertility which illustrates how agreeing with lies—like “something's wrong with me”—keeps these curses alive through generations.Ancient potions laced with demonic spells evolve into modern traps like psychics and pharmaceuticals, each offering false solutions with hidden costs.Trust in God falters when fear takes hold, opening doors for Satan to exploit, a pattern that spans from history to today's counterfeit fixes.[15:52] Marjorie: “God votes for us all the time, and Satan votes against us all the time, and we decide who we're going to believe and who we're going to go with.”[26:50] Tracing Patterns to Break the ChainsMarjorie links physical issues like endometriosis to ancestral bloodshed, urging forgiveness of past generations to break cursesShe shares a story of a man crippled by a false diagnosis of early death, showing how agreements shape life outcomes.Rejecting labels like “bipolar” shifts the battle from medication to spiritual authority, exposing them as demonic footholds rather than destiny.Depression surfaces as a spirit of exhaustion, born from unresolved conflicts, conquerable not with pills but with the liberating truth of God's Word.[35:16] Marjorie: “The devil makes it look like God's mad at you, because you think I've got to be good to get to heaven.”[39:35] Standing Before Heaven's CourtMarjorie offers a prayer process: forgive ancestors, stand as a bloodline representative, and ask God to judge demonic crimes. She specifies removing judgments like back pain or divorce, citing a case of a man's back injury tied to childhood abuse.Reagan recounts a car crash she survived, declaring defiance against the enemy's attack on her podcast mission.Marjorie suggests such events echo ancestral patterns, encouraging listeners to seek the original lie with Jesus' help.[50:24] Confronting Territorial SpiritsTerritorial spirits rise from biblical shadows, like the Prince of Persia, ruling over lands and lives with ancient authority.Binding them with names from birth certificates cuts their power, a practical step to reclaim dominion over personal kingdoms.Cleansing a home—once a death site—transformed Marjorie's office into a place of peace, achieved through prayer and oil.Precision in spiritual warfare, likened to a deer hunter's aim, proves essential to dismantling these unseen rulers effectively.[1:02:05] Unraveling Family MysteriesReagan shares a listener's story of siblings hearing voices, with Marjorie tracing it to the mother's side and sexual assault roots. She explains schizophrenia as demonic voices from identity confusion, treatable by commanding them out, not medicating.Marjorie stresses personal agreement is ideal for healing, likening it to driving one's own life bus, not letting demons steer.Patterns like firstborn attacks urge a direct confrontation, exposing the enemy's tactics through interrogation and faith. [1:07:55] Bloodlines Tainted by Royalty and OathsMarjorie ties a listener's congenital defects to royal bloodlines or Freemasonry, marked by bloodshed and oaths. She describes Freemasons' horrific oaths (e.g., “let my eyes be plucked out”), giving demons permission to afflict.Healing involves confessing iniquities and pleading that Jesus' blood cleanses DNA.Reagan and Marjorie affirm how covenant prayer's power, especially with a spouse, amplifies authority against curses. [1:17:44] Healing Kids and Building CommunityMarjorie advises asking Jesus to reveal kids' lies (e.g., fear from in utero trauma), clearing them as their representative. She shares a hyperactive child's healing from incubator trauma, proving the method's efficacy when specific.Speaking God's Word aloud rewires DNA, a tool seen in seniors reciting hymns, offering hope for deep restoration.[1:24:59] Prayer and a Call to PersevereMarjorie prays for revelation to free listeners from lies, urging them to bring curses to God's throne.Co-laboring with Christ promises healing, a partnership Marjorie urges with boldness and faith in His justice. The episode reinforces the idea of perseverance, tying back to Reagan's crash survival as a testament to God's protection.About MajorieMarjorie Cole is a dedicated servant of God, committed to guiding others through the complexities of faith and spiritual growth. Throughout history, mountains have held deep spiritual significance—serving as meeting places between heaven and earth, battlegrounds of supernatural warfare, and stages for divine encounters. From the Garden of Eden to Mount Sinai, from the transfiguration of Christ to the crucifixion, the Bible is filled with moments where mountains play a pivotal role in God's plan for humanity. But why? What is the deeper connection between these sacred heights and the cosmic battle between good and evil?In this episode of the Revelations Podcast, host Reagan Kramer welcomes back pastor, author, and theologian Doug Van Dorn for an eye-opening discussion on biblical mountains, the divine council, and the supernatural forces that have shaped human history. And the question becomes, why would that be? And that's where you need to understand first of all, that God is meeting with people on all of these mountains.”The "axis mundi," a concept describing mountains as divine meeting points, reveals their role as a bridge between heaven and earth.Mountains hold significance not only in the Bible but also in global mythologies, including Mount Olympus and sacred Native American sites.Isaiah 14 introduces the “mount of assembly,” linking biblical mountains to divine councils where heavenly beings gather.[5:10] Divine Council and Mythological ConnectionsMountains serve as the setting for the divine council, where God meets with angels and heavenly beings to rule over creation.Ancient mythologies mirror biblical narratives, with figures like Zeus and Baal representing the same rebellious entity—Satan.Mount Zaphon, recognized as Baal's sacred mountain, connects directly to the divine council and the spiritual battle against false gods. The fall of Lucifer in Isaiah 14 echoes the rebellion of spiritual beings, linking the serpent in Eden to later deceptions throughout history.[17:42] Eden and the Divine CouncilThe Garden of Eden is depicted as a mountain, a place where heaven and earth intersect.Adam and Eve's use of fig leaves for covering may symbolize an early attempt to seek refuge in fallen supernatural beings.Satan's jealousy over humanity's God-given authority fueled his deception in Eden, setting the stage for spiritual warfare. The Edenic narrative connects to a larger biblical pattern of rebellion, redemption, and the ongoing struggle between good and evil.[24:01] The Post-Flood Rebellion and the Return of the NephilimFollowing the flood, fallen angels were imprisoned in "gloomy chains of darkness," as described in 2 Peter 2:4 and Jude 6.Despite this judgment, the Nephilim reappear after the flood, indicating a renewed rebellion by supernatural forces.Ancient texts, including the Book of Enoch, describe how 200 fallen angels conspired to corrupt humanity. The struggle between God's people and these rebellious beings continues throughout Scripture, reinforcing the need for spiritual vigilance.[36:29] Moses, Mount Sinai, and the Law as a Divine RevelationMount Sinai is a sacred site where God revealed His law to Moses, establishing a covenant with Israel.Patterns in Scripture link Sinai to Eden and the future Temple, each acting as a central place of divine presence and instruction. The tabernacle mirrors the structure of the mountain, symbolizing levels of access to God's holiness. The law delivered at Sinai not only governed Israel but also foreshadowed Christ's fulfillment of righteousness.[40:16] The Golden Calf and IdolatryThe Israelites, fearing God's presence, attempted to worship Him through an idol, reshaping Him into something they could control.[41:02] Doug: “Idolatry is we're going to make that God that's up there come and be in this calf, so that we can somehow manipulate him because that's too terrifying for us.”The golden calf represented a common struggle—seeking to domesticate God rather than submitting to His true nature.Idolatry in all forms distorts faith, leading people to trust in tangible symbols rather than divine truth.Understanding this historical moment sheds light on the continuous human tendency to replace God with lesser things.[43:58] Jesus' Ministry and Supernatural BattlesEach phase of Jesus' ministry strategically dismantles Satan's authority over the world.[48:27] Doug: “Jesus's ministry is a multiple phased attack on Satan, and you have to understand some cosmic geography, and some of the motifs we've been talking about here are also very helpful.”The region of Bashan, known as "the land of the serpent," becomes the battleground where Christ begins His campaign against darkness.Key moments—including His temptation in the wilderness, His healing miracles, and His transfiguration—symbolize a reclaiming of territory from the enemy.Through these events, Jesus openly declares war on the forces of darkness, establishing His dominion over both heaven and earth.[52:48] Jesus' Death, Resurrection, and AscensionCalvary stands as the cosmic mountain where Jesus' sacrifice defeats sin and death.Descending into Hades, Christ proclaims victory and liberates those who awaited redemption. His resurrection seals His triumph, securing authority over all spiritual forces.By ascending to the right hand of God, Jesus asserts His role as the ultimate conqueror over evil.[57:10] Practical Implications of a Supernatural WorldviewThe desire for control, often expressed through worry and fear, stems from spiritual forces working against faith.Trusting in God's sovereignty dismantles the illusion of control and realigns believers with divine truth.Spiritual warfare manifests not only in extraordinary events but in daily battles over faith, trust, and obedience.Understanding Christ's victory allows believers to walk in peace, embracing their role in God's kingdom rather than being consumed by speculation about the future. About Doug Van Dorn Doug Van Dorn is a pastor, author, and theologian known for his deep exploration of biblical The Spiritual War of the Sons of God (Ft. Dr. Laura Sanger)

From the beginning of time, a war has raged over humanity—one that seeks to distort, defile, and ultimately sever our connection to God. The Fallen Sons of God abandoned their divine purpose, descending to earth and corrupting its people through deception and genetic manipulation. Their offspring, the Nephilim, were more than just giants of old; they embodied an agenda to erase the image of God from humanity. Though their physical presence faded, their influence remains—woven into the fabric of our world through mind control and ideological deception. But darkness does not have the final say. In this episode of the Revelations Podcast, host Reagan Kramer welcomes back Dr. Laura Sanger, a researcher, author, speaker, and clinical psychologist with a deep passion for awakening people to the spiritual battle at hand. Together, they dive into the spiritual war between the sons of God and the forces of darkness, tracing its origins from biblical times to its modern-day manifestations. They discuss the erosion of biblical truth, the dangers of gender ideology, transhumanism, and the corrupt systems that seek to enslave future generations. Whether you're new to these concepts or looking to equip yourself for the days ahead, this conversation will challenge and inspire you to step into your identity as a son or daughter of God.Here are three reasons why you should listen to this episode:Learn the hidden truths behind the Nephilim agenda and how it impacts our world todayGain practical insights on how to rise up as a son or daughter of God, equipped with spiritual authority to combat these dark forces.Reflect on the urgency of spiritual maturity and the call to live a victorious life aligned with God's truth in perilous times.Become Part of Our Mission! Her books, The Roots of the Federal Reserve and Generation Hoodwinked uncover deep-seated deceptions designed to enslave humanity.A recent gathering at Blurry Con provided an opportunity to reconnect with like-minded individuals and reaffirm the urgency of exposing these dark forces.[5:28] Dr. Laura's Vision and MissionA dream and vision she had in May 2020 led to the title Generation Hoodwinked, revealing a world where AI and spiritual oppression silence the voices of future generations. In the vision, Jesus led Dr. Sanger into an underground cavern where children were trapped in cages, symbolizing the control systems designed to enslave them. The Nephilim agenda thrives on deception, and exposing it is essential to breaking its power.Ephesians 5:11 and 2 Timothy 4:3-4 serve as guiding scriptures in this mission, urging believers to stand against false doctrines and wake up to the battle at hand.[11:43] The Battle of the Sons of GodLong ago, the Fallen Sons of God abandoned their heavenly domain, descending to corrupt humanity and unleash the Nephilim agenda.Their goal was to defile the human genome and stage an insurrection against God's divine order.Though Jesus secured victory through His death and resurrection, the war still rages in the spiritual realm. The need for God-fearing believers to rise up has never been greater, as deception seeks to strip humanity of its divine identity.Spiritual warfare is not passive—strongholds must be torn down, and the authority of Christ must be wielded with boldness.[15:38] Defining the Sons of GodNot all believers walk in the full authority of the Sons of God.Romans 8:14 states that those led by the Spirit are the true sons, yet many remain trapped in self-reliance rather than surrendering to divine direction.Cultural norms encourage independence, but spiritual maturity requires complete dependence on Jesus.Obedience to the Holy Spirit is the mark of a true Son of God, distinguishing those who move in divine authority from those merely going through the motions of faith.[20:28] Laura: “Sons of God are not their own person. They don't make their own decisions. They are fully surrendered to the Father's will.”The invitation to step into sonship is available to all—but it requires a willingness to follow God without hesitation.[27:13] Mixture and SyncretismThe mixing of truth with deception opens doors to bondage, preventing believers from being led by the soul rather than the Spirit.Operating from the soul—through emotions and human reasoning—rather than the Spirit leads to misguided intentions, no matter how well-meaning.Syncretism, the blending of Christian faith with pagan influences, is rampant in modern culture, from Halloween celebrations to the normalization of ideologies that distort God's design.Spiritual purity demands discernment, and the removal of compromise is essential to living victoriously in Christ.[30:12] Laura: “The Fallen sons of God, they mix their seed with human seed to birth the Nephilim. And so giving room to mixture, what that does is that allows us to take the bait that causes many of us to become hoodwinked”[36:28] The Nephilim Agenda and TransgenderismA systematic effort to erase human identity is at play, progressing from transgender ideology to full-scale transhumanism.Dr. Laura describes how this movement is being fueled by the United Nations and comprehensive sexuality education (CSE).She highlights the harmful effects of CSE on children, including promoting sexual stimulation and normalizing bestiality. The long-term effects of puberty blockers and gender-affirming surgeries on children's development and mental health are not acts of liberation but of enslavement[48:04] The Impact of Media and TechnologyMedia and technology are not just entertainment but tools of indoctrination.Future Humans for example, a bestselling children's book, subtly introduces transhumanist ideals by showcasing technological modifications.Movies, music, and television shows create fantasies that reinforce the allure of enhanced abilities, steering the next generation toward a post-human reality. The Nephilim agenda thrives on deception; its end goal is to wipe out humanity and cut at the heart of the Kingdom of God.[50:50] Laura: “The Nephilim agenda is really about defiling the human genome so much that we can't have relationship with Jesus anymore”[52:48] The Role of the Sons of God in Spiritual WarfareThe Sons of God are warriors, called to push back the forces of darkness with unwavering faith. The Hebrew phrase Rak Chazak Amats embodies the strength and courage required to stand in battle.Dr. Laura highlights the importance of the Sons of God in arising and maturing to become heirs of God and walking in their inheritance. As deception intensifies, Dr Laura encourages listeners to find Jesus in the secret place to develop an intimate relationship and learn His voice.[1:05:54] Practical Steps to Become a Son or Daughter of GodVictory begins in the secret place, where intimacy with Jesus is cultivated.Dr Laura emphasizes the importance of distinguishing between the true Holy Spirit and false voices in the church and media.Recognizing this requires deep connection with the True Shepherd, and daily communion with Him to ensure that fear and deception lose their grip.As the episode closes, Dr. Laura prays for listeners, asking for protection, boldness, and the empowerment to walk as Sons of God in a world desperately in need of truth.About Laura SangerDr. Laura Sanger is a researcher, author, speaker, and clinical psychologist dedicated to equipping believers with the knowledge and spiritual tools needed to navigate the unseen battle against darkness. These wounds created a deep fear in him, and he always tried to hide from new environments.Through God, Rob found his soul healed. Today, he has the strength to fearlessly travel the world to spread God's healing.Reagan Kramer reflects on how many people can relate to childhood experiences that impact their soul and how they may not realize it.Rob explains that the soul is synonymous with the Old Testament concept of the heart. It is the center of human operations. Many people do not give enough importance to the idea of the soul, and Reagan thinks it is used too flippantly in the modern day.[6:35] Starting the Soul Care MovementRob Reimer started the soul care movement after planting a church in Boston. He experienced a marriage crisis that led him to realize the need for personal change rather than focusing on the other person's issues. But Rob was able to overcome this crisis through his faith. He received principles to live by from God, and applied them to his life.Today, he feels confident enough to pass on these principles to help others, leading to the development of his book and ministry.[8:30] Narcissism and Self-CenterednessEveryone has a bias towards self. That self-centeredness is a result of sin. But focusing on oneself leads to misery, while focusing on Jesus and others brings peace.Rob describes a powerful idea: the biblical concept of dying to self as essential for experiencing abundant life in Christ.Dying to self involves overcoming self-centeredness, self-protection, and self-reliance. Reagan Kramer herself has found that this concept helped her in her spiritual journey.Without dying to self, Christ cannot be formed in a person, and they remain bound by their sinful nature.[13:05] Repentance, Brokenness, and Soul CareDr. Rob explains the first step, identity, and its importance in Christian life. True identity is found in Christ, who makes us part of His family. The second step, repentance, heals the soul and places us in God's presence.Repentance is part of the good news of Jesus and essential for living in His light. Rob points out the Western value of tolerance with the biblical concept of sin and repentance.People are more open to discussing their brokenness and dysfunction than their sinfulness.Reagan Kramer agrees, noting that many people are desperate for healing and open to solutions, even if they don't understand the theological aspects.[26:11] Breaking Family Sin PatternsThere exist patterns of sin in families that we must break. This unaddressed sin can have a devastating impact on future generations.Rob uses the example of Abraham's family sin pattern of favoritism and how it continued through his descendants.Breaking free from sinful patterns and living a holy life is a noble and honorable goal that emphasizes soul care.Furthermore, addressing these family sin patterns requires profound trust and honesty. The healing process will come by being open to each other.[32:01] Forgiveness and Overcoming FearForgiveness is difficult because we are afraid. Fear prevents us from accessing forgiveness. However, Rob emphasizes the importance of forgiving those who sin against us to allow God's healing and peace to flow in our lives.Rob shares his personal experience of forgiving a man who spread lies about him, demonstrating the power of obedience to Jesus' commands.Forgiveness and overcoming fear are essential for living a life free from anxiety and the bondage of sin.[49:42] Healing Wounds and DeliveranceMoving forward in freedom is easier if we begin by healing wounds from the past. Unresolved anger and pain create barriers to God's healing and must be addressed.God's deliverance lets us cast out demonic spirits that cause torment and bondage in our souls. These wounds or indwelling demons might even be the result of generational curses that went unresolved.Reagan Kramer shares her personal experience of hearing demonic manifestations and the importance of the Church in setting people free.About Rob ReimerDr. Rob Reimer is the founder and president of Renewal International, a ministry dedicated to equipping believers, pastors, and leaders worldwide to experience spiritual renewal and live in the fullness of the Holy Spirit. And I'm a vehicle for God's healing.”[11:43] Defining the OccultIn medicine, “occult” means a hidden or undetected disease. Its Latin origin means “to hide from view, cover up, or conceal” and there can also be some things that are hidden in us spiritually that hold us back from living fully. Many diseases have spiritual roots.Guilt and shame make us hide from God.[22:16] Creating Spiritual StrongholdsA cult is a secret disclosed only to those who are initiated. In Haiti, it's common to see manifestations of evil and voodoo practices. The occult can be coupled with different religions to make it seem more acceptable.Haiti and other countries that aren't blinded by media and materialism accept these manifestations of demons and turn to God to cast them out.George: “In Haiti and a lot of these other countries where they're not distracted by all the things we're distracted by, they see the manifestations. And then they accept that they're there and not blinded by media and by materialism, and they have to rely on God to cast out demons of illness because they don't have any doctors anyway.”[29:17] What Makes Us Walk in DarknessDabbling in the occult can lead us down an occult road and stray from the Lord's path.Pray, repent, and ask God to shut the door to any demonic presence in your life that might have entered through the occult.Bind the strongholds in your life and walk in Christ's freedom.Spend time with God.[37:25] Overcoming StrongholdsReceive Christ in your life because He has the power to cast out evil.Speak out loud that Jesus is Lord.George: “Because the evil spirits, the non God beings can't read your mind. You have to say it out loud. And then they know you are God's child and they don't have power over you.”Have faith in GodReagan: “No matter what darkness you feel you may be in, Jesus can overcome it. And the light will always overcome the darkness because Jesus has won the war against the enemy. It is finished and we all stand in victory right now as believers in Christ.”

The man loves his wife but feels like she doesn't love him backAs the man poured out his heart, Bryce felt a revelation from God that he had been treating Him similarly to the man's relationship with his wife. Bryce had been neglecting his relationship with God and failing to notice the little things He did in his life.Bryce was deeply moved by the man's words and realized that he too needed to invite God into every aspect of his life and totally surrender to him.Listened to the full episode to be inspired by Bryce's revelation.[12:34] "There's no growth in a relationship if the love isn't mutual." — Bryce Crawford[15:14] How God reveals himself to Gen Z PeopleYounger people are getting involved in negative things earlier, which may cause them to seek God sooner out of desperation.Bryce believes that sharing meaty biblical teachings with simplified explanations can help reach younger people on social media.Listen to the full episode to learn more about the stories of young people encountering Jesus and how their lives are changing.God can reveal Himself to the Gen Z population through personal experiences and encounters with God.[21:32] "I believe that every morning when I wake up, as my eyes are opening, Jesus is at the end of my bed. Uh oh, he's waking up. He's waking up. And then I get up, and he's like, yes, he's woken up. Bryce, you're awake? I can't wait to spend this day with you." — Bryce Crawford[25:15] How to break down scripture in a simplified wayStart with the context: Before diving into a specific passage or verse, it's important to provide some context about the book or chapter it's from. This can help the listener understand the overall message or theme.Use real-life examples: Try to illustrate the lesson or teaching with an example from everyday life. This can help make the message relatable and applicable.Keep it concise: Avoid getting too deep into theological discussions or complex language. Stick to the key points and keep it short and simple.Bring it back to Jesus: Always remember to tie the message back to Jesus and the Gospel. Help the listener understand how the specific passage or teaching relates to their relationship with God.[26:59] "I don't have to prove myself to anyone. I can just be myself. People are going to understand me for me."  — Bryce Crawford[44:50] Love Keeps No Record of WrongWhen we love someone, we don't hold their past mistakes against them. Instead, we forgive them and give them a fresh start. This applies not only to our relationships with other people, but also to our relationship with God.Bryce explained that sometimes we hold onto past mistakes and allow them to define us, leading to feelings of shame and guilt. However, when we understand that love keeps no record of wrong, we can let go of those negative feelings and learn to see ourselves and others through the eyes of love. It's also important to extend this same grace and forgiveness to others, even when we feel wronged or hurt by them. Through love, we can find healing and restoration in our relationships, both with others and with God.Overall, the idea of love keeping no record of wrong is a powerful reminder of the transformative power of love and forgiveness. By embracing this concept in our lives, we can free ourselves and others from the burden of past mistakes and move towards a future full of hope and joy.[57:02] "If I can hit my knees and pray for my friend or my loved one before I approach them, what can I do? If you're going to see them on a daily basis, love them. Love the snot out of them." — Bryce Crawford [58:53] How should you approach the Lord? Approaching the Lord should be done with intentionality and an open heart. It's important to prioritize intimacy with Jesus by spending time daily in prayer and reading the Bible. When approaching the Lord, it's important to be honest, vulnerable, and willing to listen to His voice.Inviting Jesus into every aspect of your life and seeking His guidance in decision-making can also deepen your relationship with Him.Remember that Jesus is always waiting for you with open arms, excited to spend time with you. So approach Him with confidence, knowing that He wants to be a part of your life.About Bryce CrawfordBryce Crawford is a young evangelist who was selected to participate in Pulse 100, a ministry program that trains up-and-coming evangelists. That's the mission of Jesus.”[21:02] On Evangelism, Healing, and Deliverance Reagan: “I think that's the missing link sometimes. Evangelism, healing, and deliverance go together.”Believers need to carry God's mission forward. When the gospel is preached, we set captives free from demons and heal the sick.[24:02] Casting Demons Away People might be possessed by demons without being aware of it.Occult practices can give the devil access and control over a person's flesh.God initially granted humanity authority over the Earth. However, through Adam and Eve's fall, this authority was relinquished to Satan. When we receive Christ, our allegiance shifts, and the demon no longer has legal authority over us.[33:50] Light and Darkness There is no middle ground; we must choose to be fully in the light or in the darkness.False churches claim to walk in between, yet this is impossible.Deliverance is essential and ought to be welcomed. Sammy: “Those that will claim that they are walking in between, you cannot. You're either in the light or in the darkness. As Jesus says, you're either hot or cold. You can't be lukewarm, I'll spew you out.”[36:46] Generational Curses If we want to fully experience God's grace in our lives and have an impact on others, we must identify and renounce generational hindrances.Generational curses are real and require intentional prayer and renunciation. We experience the eternal and present consequences of walking in God's freedom when we embrace the fullness of His might and break free from entanglements.[39:30] On Demonic InfluenceChristians cannot be owned by demonic influences but can be influenced or oppressed by them.Satan attempted to influence and manipulate Jesus throughout His ministry.Even Church leaders may be demonized, leading to actions that contradict God's will.Satan exploits our fleshly desires, thus emphasizing the importance of living by the Spirit to avoid giving room for demonic influence.[45:12] Completing The Book of ActsThe book of Acts is a continuation of God's work through the body of Christ, and it is still ongoing today.Believers are called to walk in the fullness of God's power until Jesus returns. The power and manifestation of God's work through the Church and believers are present and active in the world today.[51:40] Training Christians to Cast Away DemonsConfronting the demons requires wisdom and discernment. Not every instance requires immediate engagement.Deliverance from demonic influence is by invitation; It is important to discern the readiness and openness of people.Sharing the gospel and leading someone to Christ can grant authority to drive out evil and bring people freedom and joy.[58:07] On Sharing the GospelSharing the gospel is a lifestyle and should be integrated into our daily interactions.Bible studies provide an opportunity to bring individuals closer to Jesus Christ and should not be missed.Politeness should not prevent us from offering people the opportunity to give their lives to Christ.Seizing every opportunity to share the gospel helps others come to Christ and protects them from spiritual dangers.Planting seeds of truth paves the way for future opportunities to bring others closer to the Lord.[01:00:48] Demons are Always PresentDemons are constantly active and work through cultural expressions and channels.Satan wants people to think he doesn't exist, operating incognito to cause devastation. Many issues attributed to medical or psychological origins may have demonic roots that require prayer and spiritual intervention.Deliverances and healings in Africa revealed the connection between demonic influence and physical ailments, emphasizing the need for spiritual discernment.[01:08:19] Lean on God's PowerThe Holy Spirit dwells within us and can bring healing to our physical bodies.Healing extends beyond physical diseases, including emotional, mental, and spiritual renewal.Testimonies of healing serve as powerful reminders of God's faithfulness and encourage us to seek His healing touch in our lives.[01:10:40] Starting God's Mission Recognize the burning passion in your heart as a sign from the Holy Spirit.Spend time with the Lord, seek His guidance and fill yourself with the power of the Holy Spirit.Be passionate in proclaiming the gospel and His authority in every situation.Approach your church with humility and wisdom, converse with your pastor and respect their authority while sharing Lord's promptings.[01:14:35] Sammy's Book on Deliverance His ministry focuses on evangelistic outreach and regularly conducts training sessions.Sammy has been reading numerous books and is currently working on writing a comprehensive guide on deliverance. The manifestations and deliverance experienced during his campaigns highlight the power of God to expel demonic influences and bring salvation, deliverance, and grace to people's lives.[01:16:33] Biggest Miracle in Sammy's Ministry The greatest miracle is experiencing salvation and encountering the saving grace of Jesus Christ.Sammy's ministry emphasizes the importance of encountering Jesus rather than focusing purely on healing and deliverance. His ministry cherishes the powerful moments when God's work is manifested in people's lives.About Sammy WanyonyiExperienced World Missionary Leader Sammy Wanyonyi has a burning desire to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ. A support of a group of prayerful women became a turning point, as Susie likened their encouragement to having an army by her side.During the 2020 pandemic, Susie received a powerful vision of a prayer "power grid," illustrating the strength of intercessory prayer and community support.[05:30] The Power of Community and PrayerSusie emphasizes the importance of community and finding like-minded people to pray and intercede together.Dreams are conceived and achieved in intimacy and the need for new strategies and engagement in the current times. There is power in finding community and continuing to stand firm for a cause or a group, whether it's a school, church, community, or the world.Susie encourages listeners to find their fiery people, pray, and find trust in God together. Doing so can lead to breakthroughs and new strategies.[08:37] Revival and the Church's RoleDuring the pandemic, the resilience of the church has been evident through the depth of faith and spiritual hunger among believers. The church is alive and thriving.`One testimony sparks another, creating a ripple effect of faith and deliverance; sharing your personal story can empower another person to overcome their challenges.[10:48] Personal Testimony of DeliveranceSusie shares a personal story of a woman who experienced a miracle healing after attending a retreat and being prayed for.It serves as a reminder of the importance of persistence in prayer for deliverance and healingAddressing the stigma surrounding mental health, there's a call for believers to root their identity in Christ rather than their struggles. Sharing stories of deliverance not only inspires others but also builds a community of faith and hope.[16:27] Susie: “It takes work to contend, it takes work to contend for freedom. It almost feels better to go, oh, I can just accept this.”[16:40] Surrendering to God vs. CircumstancesThere is a difference between surrendering to God in our circumstances and surrendering to our circumstances.True surrender, Susie explains, is about turning to God in the midst of hardship rather than succumbing to the weight of circumstances. [17:13] Susie: “Surrendering to your circumstances is really like just wearing your affliction like that is your identity, and you accept it and you expect everybody else to accept where surrendering to God in your circumstances, say this is real. I'm walking through it. It's hard, it's messy. It does not define me.”By acknowledging pain without letting it define us, we can hold onto holy anticipation and faith in God's promises. Freedom requires active contemplation, encouraging listeners to reject the lie that their afflictions are their identity and instead live boldly in the victory God has promised.[18:00] Practical Steps to Trust in GodReagan asks Susie how she copes with her own health challenges and feeling unwell.Community and prayer were central to Susie finding resilience despite the health issues she had.Reaching out to her prayer partners and entering into the throne room of God are key parts of her strategy. Additionally, Susie uses a redeemed imagination to visualize herself healthy and strong, reinforcing her trust in God's healing power.[24:38] The Power of Imagination and VisualizationThere is a powerful science behind visualization and how it can help with healing and achieving goals. She shares a story of a doctor who helped a patient visualize walking again and how it led to the patient's recovery.Susie encourages listeners to use their imagination to picture themselves well and to seek God's vision for their next place of promise.A redeemed imagination is grounded in Biblical principles.[33:12] Susie: “Your dreams should be so big that they're destined to fail without divine intervention, otherwise, your dreams are too small.”[33:45] Upcoming Initiatives and Invitation to JoinIntroducing her upcoming initiative, "Activate for Good," Susie outlines its focus on renewing the mind, setting goals, and supporting a global cause. Partnering with Venture, the initiative aims to rescue girls from human trafficking through physical and spiritual disciplines.Susie invites listeners to join the initiative, set their own goals, and raise funds to support the cause.Community and accountability go a long way toward achieving personal and global goals.About Susie LarsonSusie Larson is an author, speaker, and radio host, celebrated for her unwavering faith and resilience in the face of life's challenges. If we think of Ozzy Osbourne or Manson and all of those people that were sort of a part of this sort of occult, satanic worship and the hip hop plan. How many souls could have been saved if we would have seen Satan's agenda and tried to stop it?”Hip-hop's evolution from art form to a recognized religious influence has shaped perceptions worldwide.Music in general has a profound effect on the human mind, since it affects both left and right brains. It's vital to consider the spiritual messages woven into all the music you listen to.[07:05] Blurry Con and Spiritual WarfareBlurry Con was a conference that viewed supernatural topics through a Biblical lens. The speakers shared their stories of real-life spiritual resistance.Spiritual warfare isn't just an internal battle. It can affect your daily life and your real-world interactions — that's why the faithful need to stay vigilant and spiritually equipped. There are several unseen forces that impact the world and society at large.Blurry Con wasn't without its own strange happenings, such as a sudden power outage during the discussion on spiritual warfare.[12:27] Education and Moral Standards in SocietySchool curricula have changed over the years, making it important for us to scrutinize what our children are learning.Young minds are now able to see different perspectives and learn from different cultural influences instead of being locked to a single viewpoint.A broader education will have a significant effect on younger generations. It's still valuable to have a strong, faith-based identity. This identity is best built at home. It's a good idea to focus on biblical principles and engage in discussions that build resilience and a moral foundation.[16:57] Identity in ChristKnowing your true identity in Christ builds a foundation that influences choices, relationships, and inner strength.Embracing that identity also helps believers withstand spiritual attacks and live with courage. But the effects aren't just within. A solid sense of identity shapes a person's response to everyday trials and moral dilemmas.[17:21] Jenny: “I just think that God's moving. I think we saw it with the storm Milton too, the amount of people that prayed and really stood in their authority.”[21:42] Role of Faith and Authority in Spiritual LifeChristians who stand firm against dark influences always witness their faith prevail.[22:05] Lori: “Occultists understand the supernatural better than Christians do, and that sucks, and it shouldn't be that way.”Jenny and Lori share personal stories on how embracing spiritual authority adds purpose and confidence to a Christian's walk.We should all remember that faith in action, supported by biblical truths, enables us to be unshaken by the challenges and influences of the world.About Jenny MireJenny Mire is a passionate faith leader, podcast host, and co-founder of Rooted Truth a ministry dedicated to helping people understand their identity in Christ and walk boldly in spiritual truth. But thanks to medical technology, she was able to overcome it.[06:14] Natalie: “I went from not walking the first two years of my life to being able to complete a marathon. That's a miracle.”Concord Counseling, which is Dr. Atwell's practice, believes in integrating biblical teachings with mental health care.Part of her work involves developing tools and assessments to address both psychological and spiritual challenges to mental and spiritual health.[11:24] Rising Spiritual Warfare in Mental HealthPost-2020, Dr. Atwell noticed a sharp increase in spiritual oppression linked to mental health, particularly dissociation, sleep paralysis, and suicidal ideation.Dr. Atwell developed a test to identify occult influences that might be affecting her clients' mental and spiritual health.Discerning spiritual influences alongside psychological factors is a core part of Dr. Atwell's methodology.Dr. Atwell is concerned about the rise of occult practices, being used in therapy. She warns against non-Christian influences in mainstream mental health treatments.According to Dr. Atwell, non-Christian practices in mental health services could open the gateway to dark forces that seek to harm your spiritual health.[23:30] The Divine Council WorldviewThe Divine Council worldview lets you approach Scripture using a supernatural lens.According to this perspective, there is a council that rules over the universe. Conversely, the rebels are the Enemy and fallen angels. [25:20] Natalie: “Being human is special, and I don't know that we talk about it enough, but being an imager of God is so important, and it is our identity that we were called to represent him on earth and to have dominion.” Natalie believes all sexual perversions stem from fallen angels mating with human women.Demonic forces attack your identity and the concept of you as an image of God.[31:21] The Role of Parents in Spiritual ProtectionParents play a central role in protecting their children from dark powers. Dr. Atwell advises parents to harness the power of prayer. She also stresses the importance of teaching children about spiritual warfare and their identity in Christ.Parents should closely monitor their children's exposure to technology and social media. The power of scripture and the divine influences children's spiritual health.[35:45] Impact of Technology and Social Media on YouthDr. Atwell links rising anxiety, depression, and suicidal ideation in youth to social media use. Unmonitored technology tends to have a negative effect on children's mental health.Technology is often a gateway to exposure to dark spiritual influences, even unintentionally.Gender confusion is often a result of children having access to more sources of information and learning, giving them alternative perspectives.[47:56] The Importance of Ephesians 6 in Spiritual WarfareEphesians 6 discusses the armor of God, and as such is a central part of spiritual warfare. It has since become a central verse to Dr. Atwell's approach.Donning the armor of God can help people protect themselves from spiritual attacks and safeguards spiritual health.A critical element to remember about Ephesians 6 is the importance of fighting not against flesh, but against spiritual forces. The armor of God also includes tools like the helmet of salvation, shield of faith, and sword of the Spirit.[50:44] Deliverance and Mental Health TreatmentDr. Atwell has developed a treatment model based on biblical principles for spiritual deliverance. The model focuses on renouncing spiritual influences, confessing sins, and reclaiming identity in Christ.[51:17] Natalie: “I am a human, an imager of God, and that is my call and plan and purpose in life.”Dr. Atwell advocates for spiritual freedom through the power of the Holy Spirit and God's word.About NatalieDr. Natalie Atwell is a licensed mental health expert with over 20 years of experience, specializing in the intersection of mental health and spirituality. Nothing happens down here without it happening in the spiritual first. And like I was saying, we have to combat that. That's why we pray. That's why we're able to change atmospheres with prayers.”[22:05] The Fallen Angels in the Spiritual WarfareGenesis 6 explains the fallen angels' interactions with human women resulting in the birth of the Nephilim.Historical texts such as Enoch and Josephus provide additional context and support for the biblical narrative. The discussion explores the hybrid nature of the Nephilim and their supernatural abilities. The spiritual warfare that ensued was a result of these events. The fallen angels' evil intentions fueled this ongoing conflict.[35:40] The Flood and Its AftermathActing as a divine intervention, the flood cleansed the earth of the Nephilim and their evil influence. The creation of demons from the spirits of the fallen Nephilim highlights the emergence of a new spiritual realm.Evidence of the flood, such as fossils and petrified remains, is also discussed to illustrate its impact on the earth.Grasping these supernatural events is crucial for understanding the full scope of the biblical narrative.[51:31] The Tower of Babel and Its SymbolismLori elaborates on the story of the Tower of Babel, explaining the significance of the ziggurat's construction.Old writings, such as those of Flavius Josephus, provide insight into the motivations behind building the tower. The tower symbolizes humanity's attempt to reach the divine without relying on God.Lori connects this story to the broader theme of the seed war and the ongoing spiritual struggle between good and evil.[1:01:08] The Role of the Divine Council and Deuteronomy 32God delegated authority to angels to govern the nations.Deuteronomy 32 highlights the roles these divine beings played in the Old Testament.Recognizing the role of the divine council is essential for understanding the larger biblical narrative.[01:05:46] Lori: “ God stands in the congregation of the mighty. He judges among the gods. How long will you judge unjustly and show partiality to the wicked? … And then verse six says, I said, ‘You are gods, and all of you are children of the Most High, but you shall die like men and fall like one of the princes.'”[1:07:55] The Redemptive Plan of JesusJesus reclaimed dominion over the earth, defeating the powers and principalities that once ruled the nations. His actions at significant locations, such as Mount Hermon, and their profound impact on the spiritual realm.Understanding the significance of Jesus' victory over the enemy is crucial for believers.Lori encourages believers to exercise their God-given authority and dominion in the world today.[01:19:30] Lori: “ Jesus literally has conquered it all. He took everything back that the enemy stole, and so the entire ministry of Jesus was not only to bring the kingdom, but to destroy the works of the devil, it's to break the chains and the strongholds that hold us captive in sin, because his authority demonstrated a power over both the physical and the spiritual worlds, and that's what he gives us.”About LoriLori Brazier is a devoted follower of Christ, wife, and mother who balances her faith with a dual career in interior design and writing. Or that somebody said something mean to you and you didn't think you were good enough — or an earthquake.”You can experience brokenheartedness in your everyday life too, like going to bed angry. This gives the Enemy a foothold in your heart.Samantha shares a personal story about her daughter's sensitivity and how it gave the Enemy an opening.Addressing these issues is important early on to prevent long-term damage in children. However, not all trauma is extreme, and even small, unresolved issues can build up over time and cause significant emotional pain.[09:43] The Role of the Church in Healing Satanic Ritual AbuseThe church is important in providing healing and deliverance especially when many people feel rejected or unheard in church settings. Many Christians struggle with the idea of being affected by demons despite being saved from Satanic ritual abuse — although salvation came unto them, they have yet to heal.In the same vein, there's a critical difference between the regeneration of the spirit and the healing of the soul.Christians need to understand that healing is not a one-time event. It's a process.[15:36] Practical Steps for Healing and Surrender to ChristAs Christians, we must remember the power that comes from surrendering to Christ and immersing ourselves in prayer and the Word.Being prayerful and seeking guidance from the Holy Spirit are some of the most powerful tools for us to receive true healing.[18:25] Samantha: “You can't just expect the Spirit to just fall on, the Holy Spirit to just do everything. You have got to take initiative and surrender to the Lord.”Healing doesn't come from nothing — it's hard work. It requires us to take the initiative to heal ourselves as well.We need a genuine desire for Jesus and the willingness to do the difficult work that goes into healing your soul.[20:27] The Importance of Identity and Whose We AreIt is important to recognize your identity in Christ and understand who we belong to.David, despite his sins, was remembered for being a man after God's own heart because of his desire for the Lord. There is a need for discipleship and understanding the word to grasp one's identity in Christ.[29:43] Michelle: “I want you to know that when someone finally recognizes who they are and whose they are, this is one of the key things. Even while Daniel was in Babylon, Daniel never forgot who he was.”As Christians, it's our God-given obligation to love others and bear witness to the love of Jesus.[30:38] The Role of the Holy Spirit in HealingMichelle discusses the role of the Holy Spirit in healing and the importance of being open to His guidance. One story to remember in the Bible is that of the woman at the well, who, due to her faith, was transformed and healed by the love of Jesus. There's a need for genuine love and support from the Church to help others heal.Receiving healing lets a person help others in turn. The Church becomes the bridge between brokenness and healing.[36:28] Holiness and RepentanceThe role of the church in addressing triggers lies in providing healing for those who are struggling. The soul needs to walk in the power and authority of God and Christ — something a person's Church must understand.Healing requires holiness and repentance; part of a true desire for God comes from overcoming and repenting our sins.Healing comes from a place of genuine love and support, especially from the Church.Overcoming the deep wounds of Satanic ritual abuse requires addressing the root causes behind a person's emotional pain and trauma.[51:28] Closing Prayer and EncouragementThrough God's guidance and protection, we can overcome all adversity, even that which comes from the Enemy.May you remember to be a part of the remnant Church.Keep true to God's commandments and love.About MichelleMichelle Young is a devoted servant of God, with over 30 years of experience in discipling and counseling those seeking spiritual healing and freedom. It's a process.[18:45] The Role of the Holy Spirit in Healing Your HeartThe book of Isaiah proclaims Jesus' mission to heal the brokenhearted and proclaim liberty to the captives. The Hebrew word for soul is the same as the word for heart — heal the heart, and you heal the soul. [20:07] Samantha: “If we follow Yeshua, how do we heal the brokenhearted?...How do we proclaim liberty to the captive? So there's healing of the soul.” Healing the soul allows faithful Christians to walk in victory and power.[22:07] Understanding Triggers and Their ImpactA trigger is something or someone that reminds us of past trauma, particularly unresolved pain.A memory, feeling, or event can pull someone back to the moment of their trauma, “triggering” what they felt at the time; hence the term “trauma triggers”.Partners in marriage need to understand each other's trauma triggers to avoid — or even heal — conflicts between them.Michelle shares an example of a survivor of satanic ritual abuse whose trauma triggers were specific words.Christians should not allow triggers to control them but seek help and healing to respond as Yeshua would.[34:24] Medication, Healing, and the Word of GodReagan shares her personal experience with anxiety and the decision to avoid medication in favor of healing through the Word of God.Medication isn't the only answer to managing your trauma triggers. It's more important to address the root cause.Healing is a process. Medication can help, but Christians should not be quick to resort to it without addressing the underlying issues.Discipleship and counseling are powerful tools in the healing process. [38:39] The Fragmentation of the SoulSoul fragmentation is where parts of the soul detach to cope with intolerable trauma.Michelle tells the story of a child who fragments their soul to cope with abuse, explaining how this coping mechanism helps them survive.True healing is achieved when a Christian can integrate the fragmented parts of her soul.Only Yeshua can integrate the fragmented parts of the soul and heal the wounds.[48:10] The Impact of Satanic Ritual Abuse on the SoulMichelle shares a story of a survivor of satanic ritual abuse who was triggered by certain words and needed to reject the thoughts and choose to do the right thing.Survivors of satanic ritual abuse often have deep-seated triggers and need specialized healing. As Christians, we have to understand the programming and mind control used in satanic rituals to address the trauma triggers effectively. It is only through Yeshua that Christians can heal the deep-seated wounds inflicted by satanic rituals and abuse.[58:48] Spreading True Healing to Those in NeedNot enough Christians understand the reality of how spiritual healing works, preventing them from receiving healing. [59:04] Reagan: “This is real. This is real life. It happens. It's in our churches, it's in our small, little towns, it's in our big cities. It's everywhere. But we're not believing that it's real, and so those people are sitting there hurting, you know, and and not getting the healing that they need from their fragmented souls” We can be emissaries of that healing and a channel for God's peace when we join movements to reach out, like Pulse 100.Becoming a channel for God's peace is also a way for us to grow spiritually. About MichelleMichelle Young is a devoted servant of God, with over 30 years of experience in discipling and counseling those seeking spiritual healing and freedom. The mystery of Genesis 6 has been on the hearts and minds of many Christ followers as they search for answers and the truth of what the scriptures say about the dark forces at work in the Nephilim.  These evil giants have long had a plan to corrupt the human genome and strip people of their humanity and they are still at work today.   Christians can use their spiritual power garnered through true faith in Christ to fight these Nephilim[1] and their agendas. In this episode of The Revelation Podcast, we talk to Laura Sanger, Ph.D. Laura is a clinical psychologist and author with an M.A. in Theology from Fuller Theological Seminary and a spiritual warrior who, through the power of faith borne through her childhood, has seen, felt, and experienced the power of God. Today, she fights with her spiritual authority in Jesus Christ to share God's manifold blessings unto all Creation. Here are three reasons why you should listen to this episode:Learn how the Nephilim agenda is still alive and well in the world today.Discover how true faith and trust in God gives spiritual authority to defeat the giants in our lives and in the world.Understand the origins of the Nephilim and the Nephilim Hosts.Want to be part of what God is doing through the Revelations Podcast? Laura describes it as a three-step process: reconnaissance, research, and intercession.Reconnaissance involves physically going to a location. For example Laura thinks she can detect witchcraft in a location, because she gets intense headaches. The research component involves looking for documents and interviewing people to look for data that supports the presence of what Laura calls “defilement”.Finally, intercession unleashes the full measure of the Lord's blessings on an area.Listen to the full episode of how Laura's book began with spiritual mapping, but eventually became so much more.[00:20:14] The Unconventional WarLaura thinks that humanity is waging an unconventional war against invisible shadow agents looking to convert people.[21:10] Laura: We really have to come to terms with the fact that humanity has been under assault, like constant assault, and the ferocity of those attacks have really intensified."These invisible enemies include the Illuminati and several other people that she says are working in the shadows.Laura's book can supposedly help people discern the presence of Nephilim and their effects. Some people are what Laura calls “Nephilim hosts”, who are people who have partnered with the forces of darkness to further the “Nephilim agenda”.Laura thinks that the Nephilim agenda is to strip people of their humanity and eventually control the world.[00:33:37] The Origins of the Nephilim AgendaLaura says that the Nephilim were able to survive the Great Flood because, although Noah and his family were pure, the wives of Noah's sons may have had Nephilim genes.God gave Adam and Eve dominion over the Earth, but Laura believes the original Hebrew word indicates some kind of combative victory.[38:00] Laura: “If we look at the Hebrew word for dominion, it's ‘radah'. And it means to rule, have dominion, dominate, tread down, and prevail against, and so really this, you know, this definition suggests that we're going to face foes or entities that will resist us as governors and so we need to tread down and prevail against them.”The Nephilim agenda goes back to Lucifer, who fell to pride. Whenever people receive fame and glory, it's vital to reflect that back to God.Laura points out that God gave Adam and Eve dominion, but they also had free will. This is in contrast to Lucifer, who offers dominion but demands control.[00:46:34] Spiritual Power: How We Fight the Nephilim AgendaAccording to Laura, there are spiritual giants on earth that take our territory, inheritance, and freedom.Walking with Christ gives us the power to walk in the footsteps of the biblical giant slayers: Deborah, Josha, Caleb, and David.Their lifestyles indicate how we gain this power: a lifestyle of obedience to God.Laura describes how she believes she commanded a storm to turn away from her beach vacation through faith.[01:02:15] The Spiritual Power Power in PraisePraise, worship, and releasing a new song to God actually reverberates in the land itself. In the book of Exodus, Moses released a new song to create victory for the Israelites. That power impacts Creation, regardless of who hears it.The spiritual power of praise can resonate through time — even forty years later, as evidenced by the victory at Jericho.[01:09:11] Defeating the Spiritual Giants in Our LivesLaura recommends that we cultivate an intimate relationship with God, based on what the giant slayers in the Bible did.We should linger in the presence of God and carve out time to listen to Him.Laura finds that she can do anything correctly if she asks the Holy Spirit for guidance — it will never forsake you nor leave you.[1:13:18] Reagan: “I would just encourage our listeners, like if you want intimacy with Jesus, like, Sure, read your devotional, okay. Do your Bible study, but literally spend time sitting with him trying to hear His voice.”About LauraLaura Sanger is a clinical psychologist devoted to her faith in God. She has personally experienced the hand of God all throughout her life and believes in setting people free from the darkness that encroaches on the world.Follow Laura on Instagram or her website, No Longer Enslaved. But there's another side: could these things be demons instead, or the angel agents of the Enemy? In this episode of the Revelation Podcast, Amy and Reagan discuss Christianity and aliens. But we can strengthen ourselves through the Bible.[12:12] What Does the Bible Say About Aliens? Some Bible stories and other religious texts may indicate that the ancient prophets had experiences with extraterrestrials. These stories include the Nephilim, Zachariah's flying scroll, the watchers on Mount Hermon, and more.Aliens and demons may have similarities as well. It's vital that we use the Bible to understand these phenomena and encourage Christians to approach the topic without fear.[13:18] Amy: “We don't have all the answers. But when you start to look at these mysterious verses, are they going to start to make a little more sense as the days draw near? Potentially, yes.”As Christians, we have to understand the power and authority in Jesus Christ to face these confusing times with wisdom and discernment.[22:45] Importance of Discussing Controversial Topics in ChristianityDiscussing topics like extraterrestrial life and UFOs openly is crucial for Christians to stay informed and prepared. The conversation should be rooted in humility and reliance on the Holy Spirit, acknowledging that not all answers are known by man.Demons need a body to inhabit and are possibly the dead spirits of the Nephilim.Fallen Angels could possible be the extra-terrestrial life we call Aliens.[23:33] Reagan: “God knows everything. So if they [fallen angels] brought any of that knowledge to Earth, right, because Satan is always trying to be God and counterfeit God.”It's vital that, through Jesus, we overcome our fear and anxiety. These negative emotions can be exploited by the Enemy.[31:15] Humanity and Alien Influence Throughout HistoryMedia and celebrities significantly influence public perception, often promoting fear and confusion. These outside influences have converted people into thinking that aliens and demons are cute and friendly, such as depictions of garden gnomes, mermaids, or faeries.Evil organizations such as the Third Reich have always attempted to use alien knowledge to further their goals.Christians should find ways to present the gospel and biblical truth in the context of current events, history, and popular culture.[42:09] Amy: “It's all connected. And so you see kind of this full kind of timeline of what is potentially happening here. Sounds like Fallen Angel technology is what it sounds like to me.”[42:34] Christianity and Aliens in the Modern EraChristians are called to stand firm in their faith, equipped with the knowledge and power of Jesus Christ, to face the bizarre and often frightening events in the world. The importance of rooting out fear and trauma to prevent the enemy from exploiting these vulnerabilities.Even your history and genetics can affect your connection to God.Encouragement to use discernment and wisdom, bolstered by scripture, to navigate the complexities of modern phenomena and media influences.Listen to the full episode for a story from Reagan about a close paranormal encounter she had.About Amy From Eyes on the Right.Amy is an educator, counselor, speaker, and Bible teacher who helps others deepen their understanding of the Scripture. He eventually became a tool for God to heal others. When Henry couldn't heal others suddenly, God taught him about the spiritual roots of disease. In the full episode, Donna shares an incredible anecdote of how Henry, through God, was able to heal a woman who was allergic to everything. Most diseases can be traced back to spiritual roots. Be in Health believes only around 20% are not.[11:37] How God Heals Doctors will only treat certain conditions or even just look at the symptom.God, on the other hand, heals us wholly — mind, body, spirit, and soul.Remember, God desires our bodies and soul to get along. As a believer in Christ our bodies are a temple of the Holy Ghost so that we may glorify Him.[15:13] People Have Become Sick There are so many people now who are sick.God gifted Henry to understand the correlation between sickness and a spiritual defect. For example, fear is a significant component of diseases. Fear affects the immune system and leads to anxiety and stress.God gave us power, love, and a sound mind. However, when we have fear, we put an obstacle to what God is giving us.Those who have autoimmune diseases also have spiritual problems. It is common that they don't like themselves.[17:18] Donna: “God has said, He did not give us that spirit of fear…what did he give us? Power, love and a sound mind.”[20:12] How the Enemy Keeps Us SickOur sickness isn't just limited to us. Chances are, there's a spiritual sickness that's been in our long line of family history. Not only do these sicknesses affect your physical body, but they can also affect your personality. This is commonly due to the enemy's work.Donna emphasizes that they are not anti-medicine. In fact, she supports doctors and the medical industry. However, there has been a shift in the pharmaceutical industry that believes itself to be the savior when it was only meant to be a bridge.[23:24] The Importance of Prevention and CommunityBe In Health programs aren't just about healing. It's about prevention. People need to understand what feelings like fear and bitterness can do to the body.We all need to know the Word more so that we can discern what comes from God and what does not. It's important to be immersed in a community of believers so we can develop discernment. It's easy to get caught up in what's not from God because we're all trained by the imposter father in some way.[25:27] Reagan, excerpt from Henry's book: “You have to decide what you will embrace as truth. Because you need to learn the word well enough to know what is of God and what isn't. So wake up.” [29:42] Many Do Not Have a Relationship with GodOften, our earthly fathers give us a misrepresentation of our heavenly father. The trauma of not having the correct father impacts us in a way we can't even understand. The enemy knows this. When you realize who your heavenly father is, He will show you that nothing is impossible.[30:56] Donna: “When you have a revelation of our heavenly Father, nothing is impossible to you. Nothing. When I say nothing impossible, that means God can show you everything about everything. And the doors are open to you for understanding spiritual things at a level that you just never ever conceived of.”[31:57] About Be In Health Conferences Donna shares that they have many repeaters to their programs and conferences. This is because there's so much information that they can come back and learn in a different light. The reasons to join aren't just for physical health. It can also be about relationships or spiritual needs. Not only that, ill feelings typically come in layers and heaps. One conference isn't enough to work on all of it.Donna reminds us to take back control, repent, and give ourselves to God.[36:02] The Spiritual BattleWe are constantly fighting a spiritual battle. This is why we need the Word of God.Overcoming the enemy is not a lazy walk but a difficult one.The enemy has made so many narratives about the Bible that many of us don't even really know what the Bible says anymore.[40:09] The Truth About DiseaseThe reality is that God never gives people diseases. Yet, we often blame him for them.God can get your attention in different ways.Donna shares that when Henry died, she went through so much suffering. She realized that God wanted her to learn more about his love.God wants us to always remember His love for us no matter what happens. In the full episode, Donna shares Henry's inspiring story and dedication to God even when he had cardiac issues.[46:49] Donna: “Just because you don't overcome all things, doesn't mean you should not speak truth.”[48:03] How to Start HealingFirst, recognize exactly what you're battling. Ask yourself, “what sin am I battling?”Then you renounce it. Push back against what God did not intend you to be.You should also take responsibility for what you've done and repent. This process is not easy, but you need to put in the work and give God the glory.[52:54] Donna's Powerful StoriesIn Alaska, Donna met a man who was hit with a pipe, suffered from a stroke, and had a crippled arm.He realized who he was because of the Father's love and was healed.Donna also saw how cancers were healed despite being on stage four.Henry also reached out to people suffering from Multiple Chemical Sensitivity - Environmental Illnesses and shared the Gospel with them to help them have realizations about their disease.Donna shares that this is the impactful story that keeps her doing what she does. She hopes people don't believe they are not less because of their disease.About Donna Wright Pastor Donna Wright co-founded Be in Health and Hope of the Generations Church, formerly known as the Pleasant Valley Church. It's not been my own strength that's gotten me through. It's because of him.”Kelly studied Elementary Education and now works as a dyslexia tutor. She enjoys being a mother to her three children and working as the baptism coordinator in church. Her parents divorced when she was a child. Her father struggled with alcoholism and her mother's role as a single parent had a big impact on Kelly's upbringing.Alcoholism is a generational curse her family has struggled with. However, Kelly is determined to end the cycle of divorce and alcoholism in her own family. From a young age, her mother brought her to Church and taught her about belief in Jesus. She fondly recalls her own baptism when she was just 5 years old. While Kelly has always believed in Jesus, there were times when she rebelled as a young adult.[07:02] Finding God and Grace Amidst IllnessKendall, one of Kelly's children, has a heart defect and lung issues since birth. She has undergone extensive testing, multiple surgeries, and procedures to treat her condition.During this time, Kelly felt emotionally and spiritually exhausted, finding it hard to pray and find God during the worst of Kendall's illness. The turning point came when she heard the Holy Spirit's call to find grace even amidst her child's suffering. [17:08] Kelly: “I realized fully that our children are not our own. They're loaned to us. They're God's children and He is her Father, and He knows what's best for her.”She drew strength from 2 Corinthians 12:9 and found herself trusting God more. She found comfort in surrendering to God's plan.As her family faced these challenges, Kelly and Kyle struggled with the strain it put on their marriage. Despite this, her husband remained a calming presence amidst the crisis.[22:46] Medical Challenges and Miraculous RecoveriesKendell continued to undergo multiple treatments and surgeries. With time, prayer, and community support, Kendall greatly improved and was on the road to recovery.Unfortunately, Cade, her son, was also diagnosed with epilepsy causing frequent and severe seizures. At first, Kelly relied on natural remedies and essential oils. However, she realized her reliance on natural medicine was a barrier to her faith. Kelly decided to seek God first and shift her approach to health and healing to focus on prayer and God's guidance.[35:39] Overcoming Spiritual Attacks with JesusKelly shares her terrifying experiences with sleep paralysis during the day. She was paralyzed and helpless against the attacks against her. With the help of prayer, she realized that these experiences were spiritual attacks by demonic forces.Kelly turned to prayer and deliverance through Jesus to strengthen her. By saying the Lord's Prayer, she was able to regain control of her body. This terrifying experience strengthened her faith in Jesus.[43:19] Becoming God's Sober ServantKelly quit drinking alcohol in August with the help of God's calling. It was a difficult journey, and she struggled with the transition to giving up alcohol due to expectations. After quitting, Kelly found positive changes in her marriage and family. She experienced a newfound sense of peace within her after times of crisis and chaos. She started new habits and routines that brought stability and joy into her life. It's important to live in obedience to experience the peace that God offers us.[48:03] A Deeper Journey of Healing and FaithKelly found healing through the Bible and being a part of a church community. She also decided to seek help through therapy. As she experiences healing, Kelly and Reagan discuss the importance of addressing past trauma and emotional wounds. If you're facing a similar struggle and seek peace and healing, trust God. Even during difficult times, it's important to obey Him.Read the Bible and stay grounded in your faith. Experience the joy and peace that come from a deep relationship with God. [55:06] Kelly: “On the other side of that obedience is the fruit and the gift of peace, the peace that passes understanding. So sometimes you just have to do the hard thing and trust him even when you can't see.”About Kelly KingKelly King is a devoted wife, mother of three, and passionate follower of Jesus Christ. With a background in Elementary Education, she works as a tutor for the dyslexic. Kelly has found strength, peace, and faith in God amidst the challenges her family has faced. It aims to train people to talk to God, share their faith, and evangelize without fear.[04:44] Daughter of the Most High KingLaurel first experienced a rigid relationship with God, driven by fear and duty rather than love. She was taught to fear Him and felt at fault for Christ's suffering and sacrifice. She learned the truth in college. Laurel realized God's love for her and changed her perspective as the daughter of the High King.Your relationship with Christ and how you see yourself in the eyes of God changes your Christian life.Laurel lived in fear and was bound by it. Jesus pulled her free so that she could move in Him and talk to God without fear.Don't simply listen and believe what others say. You also need to examine what you believe and study it. Use the Word of God and the many resources we have today to stand boldly in our faith.[21:11] What Is Prayer and Why Is It An Integral Part of Your Life?Prayer is the heart's posture and soul's surrender in communion with God. We need to focus our hearts and minds on our time and conversation with God.Even if God knows everything, He still wants to hear from you and communicate with love through prayer. [22:46] Laurel: “When we have both our heart and our soul, in communion with God, without fear or shame, we can communicate with the one who loves us and knows us best.” Like in any relationship, communication is important. Talk to God. Maintain your union with Him through communion in prayer.Pray to the One True God and not to any false gods. Don't let idols distract and divide your heart and mind.A lot of people were never taught about prayer. However, it's important to learn about prayer, fasting, and meditating on God's Words to keep you focused on your intimate relationship with God.[30:42] Understanding Prayer in the Word of GodLaurel talks about John 17, the moment when Jesus is preparing to sacrifice Himself to take on our sins. He prays not just for His disciples but also for His future believers.Daniel's prayer, Hannah's prayer, and Esther's prayer show their honesty and their hearts on display as they pray to God. It is this honesty and knowledge that they can go to God for grace and help that is in these prayers.Jesus is constantly interceding and fighting for us. He prays for us, the Holy Spirit is with us, and angels watch over us to protect us.Even when you're too busy or have no words, you can do it anywhere and however short or long. It doesn't have to be perfect.Beyond the power of prayer in strengthening our intimate relationship with God, it also aligns our minds and prepares and protects us. Prayer is a part of our armor.[49:38] Living a Prayer LifeGod listens and recognizes our pain. He might not always act on it how and when we want Him to but it's important to trust Him.Understand God's character and His many names. From El Roi, Jehovah Shalom, and more, these names help you understand the vastness and multifaceted nature of God.We know Jesus from a human point of view. However, we can know Him differently and remember how we're made new through His sacrifice.Coming together in prayer can be powerful. Laurel and Reagan talk about their tabernacle experience where they felt the Holy Spirit come and sit with them.Read the Scripture and the conversations between God and His people. The simple personal prayers based on His Word can be the most powerful.[01:05:30] The Power of Praying Out LoudPraying out loud is a proclamation of faith. It is a way to decree and declare God's truth and authority. With His absolute authority, prayer pushes back the enemy and denies the power of what Satan speaks. As we pray, it's important to believe in God's strength especially when you are weak.Prayer and God's Word can pull you out of negative emotions and situations, just like how Laurel was pulled out of her fear by building her faith through prayer.Don't be afraid, the Lord is with you. Get past the fear and resignation to go and spread the gospel and faith. [01:13:53] Reagan: “Proclaim who Jesus is and that you are covered in the blood of Christ so that the enemy can't touch you. There is power in speaking that out loud that the enemy knows that you are speaking in your authority in shutting the door.”[01:14:17] Why Pray?Prayer is a gift that was given to us, no strings attached; all you have to do is accept it.Know that God responds, He hears, sees, knows, understands, and loves us.In your relationship with God, commune with him. Talk to God and let him know that you love Him. Know too that God loves you. It's worth cultivating your relationship with God so that you can stand before Him and worship Him for what He's done.[01:17:22] Laurel's Answered PrayerGod has always opened a door for Laurel when one closes as she applies for a job. However, that didn't happen for Laurel. Instead, God answered in a different way by providing rest, allowing her to preach, and travel the world. [01:19:03] Laurel: “Answered prayer oftentimes doesn't come in one giant perfected, tied with a bow, answer. Sometimes it comes unrolling something where you get bit by bit.” Stepping into a new season of life for Laurel, her answered prayer was revealed little by little. It is through this time of elongated prayer that she was able to get to know God, talk to God, cultivate an intimate relationship with Him, and learn to forgive and trust.God wants you. He is listening. The first step to communicating with God is to receive Him as your Lord and Saviour.About LaurelLaurel Bunker is a dynamic preacher, educator, and leader with over 30 years of experience in ministry, higher education, and non-profit sectors. He experienced different churches that were united in Jesus Christ. He emphasizes that God wants the Church to be united with Christ at the center despite these differences.Tom's experiences hearing God and His direction have formed who he is today.[05:36] The Desire To Hear And Listen To The Voice of GodIn today's world, there are many voices and opinions that make noise and make us weary. On the other hand, the Word of God strengthens, comforts, and sustains us. [08:03] Tom: “One word from heaven changes everything. One word that comes from God to our hearts has strength in it and it sustains us.” That's why it's critical to listen and be able to discern His voice. He wants us to open our ears and desire to hear His voice.Raegan shares that the reason she started the podcast was because God spoke to her. It may be hard to hear Him, but He is there.[10:23] Examining The Prophecies Many use God's name to manipulate others for their own gain. Examine the prophecies you hear, discern the voice of God, and cling to Him.Tom advises never to place your identity in your ability to hear God. Instead, place your identity in being God's child whom He loves. You don't have to perfectly hear God all the time. You don't have to declare that this is what God has told you. Instead, leave it open and align it with the Scripture.Your relationship with God starts with Him speaking to you first. All you need to do is to reposition yourself to listen, not just to what He is saying now but also to His Word.God speaks to us through the Bible. Prophetic experiences align with and honor the written Word.[20:31] Delighting In God's Presence Every DayRaegan shares her personal journey of seeking God's presence in her daily life. She shares her need to rest with God amidst the busy times. It starts with a desire for intimacy to be with God. Make it into a discipline that will become a delightful part of your every day.Tom shares how his greatest delight is to have a coffee with God every morning. This way, God is at the center of his life all throughout the day.You don't have to work too hard to hear the voice of God. Instead, treat him as a friend you love building a relationship with rather than a mission to get your reward.[27:02] An Addiction To GodIt's important to differentiate between an assignment from God and a relationship with Him.Even within the ministry, don't put your identity into how much you're doing for God. Instead, host His presence and let him help you with your assignment.Tom shares how he had burned out in 2013 as a pastor of a large church and planned a sabbatical. Before he left, he dreamt of two women being worn down by the enemyGod tells him His plans to refresh these women by giving a drink of the Spirit of God and nurturing an addiction to His presence. It is through this addiction to God that we become free. We live our lives easier in delight with Him.[35:22] Surrendering Our Human Weaknesses To God's SpiritThere are two ways we can miss the voice of God and end up listening to the enemy: human agenda and human strength.Do not put God's name for your personal agendas and interests. This is a manipulative way of using God's name in vain. One example of this in Scripture is how Jesus rebuked Peter and the apostles after their denial of Jesus' incoming death.Doing things with human pride and strength can lead us to be deaf to God's voice. Just like how Peter and the apostles insist that they will never forsake Jesus despite what Jesus says will happen.Don't rely on human effort. Surrender your human agenda and strength to be with His Spirit and do things together with our Lord and God.[41:44] How the Voice Of God Reaches Us[41:47] Raegan: “Intimacy is: into me see, into me see. God, He wants to see into us and He allows us to see into Him through His word but also just by His presence we get to see more of Him and experience more of Him.” Intimacy with God allows us to be in His presence and experience Him. Jesus speaks through the Holy Spirit which speaks to us and reveals the truths from Scripture. The voice of God can reach us through many ways, like dreams and the even events in our lives. Our lives are God's platforms to speak. Whatever we may be experiencing, we need to notice when God is speaking to us and listen. We can see this in how He reaches out to Moses, Samuel, Elijah, and other prophets through their circumstances.Just like how God led Elijah out of the cave when he was depressed and in despair, the Lord also speaks to you and calls for you to leave the depression and walk with Him.He is the Shepherd and we, as the sheep, need to know his voice, listen, and follow Him as He leads us to the next place.[47:24] Discerning The Voice Of God From The Enemy's WordsWe have to acknowledge that the enemy is here and actively trying to get to us. Whether through human agenda or strength, it tries to pull us away from God.One way the devil speaks is loudly through fear and intimidation. The loud voice in your head can make the fear feel overwhelmingly real. However, we have to submit to God, rise up, and resist the fear. Command the enemy to go using the authority and support of Jesus Christ. The enemy also speaks to us through accusation. It tries to define us by our worst sins. However, the whole truth is that God loves you and Jesus died on the cross for our sins.Against the accuser, we stand victorious with God's love and Jesus' blood covering us. Place your identity in God and not in your sin, others' opinions, or self-hatred. [51:56] Tom:“My identity is not in my worst behavior. It is in His love, it is in His grace, it is in His favor and there is no argument in hell that can overcome that. That is the place of victory.”[57:20] Riding In God's Car: Obeying And Following HimRaegan shares her personal experience of learning to sit with God without an agenda. So many people receive silence from God because they have failed to do what He first asked of them. Be easily led and quickly agree and obey Him.Love God unconditionally and He will lead us through our lives. At times, it may not go the way we want it to go, however, this is His raising you to be pure. He is building and strengthening your relationship together.Christianity has its own engine. We don't have to hook it up to a horse and pull it ourselves. Instead, intimacy with God is the gas that allows Him to lead us all day.The only cost that we have to spend is to patiently wait on God. Listen, do less, and spend more time with Jesus.[01:08:25] Security In Intimacy With GodThe enemy is present in our lives. However, Jesus Christ covers us and strengthens us as we move forward. In the Scripture, God declares Jesus as the Son of God. However, the devil continues to tempt Him through doubt and insecurity. Jesus turns away from insecurity and refuses.Just as Jesus resists the devil and the insecurity it brings, don't act on insecurity. Be secure in your identity and cast off fear as God's beloved.God created intimacy in our relationship with Him as something pure, beautiful, and loving. This is what God intends for us.[01:13:40] Dancing With Jesus Tom shares the acronym, GUIDANCE to remember to dance with God. Say yes to dancing with Him! Once you ask and surrender, He will lead you in the dance of your life.God speaks to us differently. You have to turn to Him and discern that He is speaking. This includes attending church and hearing God speak through the pastor.Have the humility to listen and notice the many ways God converses with us.Listen and resonate with the Holy Spirit to discern when God speaks. Use the tools and the truths He gives us to stay strong and stand against the enemy at all times. The enemies will be in our lives every day, however, we don't have to face them alone. We have God and the anointing of the Holy Spirit to guard our hearts and minds.About TomTom Flaherty is the Head Pastor at City's Church in Madison, Wisconsin. Bible Scholar Melanie Hurlbut joins us again with her great wisdom and Bible knowledge to teach on these amazing two chapters of Acts.  In these chapters we see God heal a man crippled from birth, an angry mob stones Paul and leaves him for dead  as well as a big argumet about circumcision!  The Jerulalem Council gathers and the Apostles argue that both Jew and Gentile are saved by the grace of our Lord Jesus with four guidlines placed on Gentile Believers.  Never a dull moment as the first followers of Jesus continue to see the Holy Spirit move in and through them as they have to work out the details of following "The Way" of Jesus.  Despite disagreements in the church, God's plans will always prevail!Want to be part of what God is doing through the Revelations Podcast?
