JESUS LIVES Part 5: In His BodyBrad HarlowOriginal Air Date: 2025.05.25When someone we love dies, we take great pains to keep their memory alive through pictures, how they impacted us and stories of things they accomplished. We also “see” them in the faces, personality and mannerisms of their children and grandchildren.Almost 2,000 years ago, Jesus Christ, gave His life in exchange for ours – to take the penalty of death for our sin, so that we may live! For those who choose this gift of forgiveness and grace, they have become God's children and as His children live out their daily lives, we can “see” the personality and character of Jesus. The difference is that Christians don't simply keep His memory alive, He IS ALIVE... having conquered death, risen from the grave, ascending to heaven and sending the Holy Spirit to all believers to teach and guide so that they become the very image of Jesus! In this series, “Jesus Lives”, we will learn that Jesus is alive and active in every aspect of our life and world. We invite you to invite your friends and family to join us for this exciting journey!Regular Service Times are Saturday Evening at 5:30pm and Sunday Morning at 10:30 am. Influencers Part 1: The Father of FaithBill CorleyOriginal Air Date: 2025.03.23“Influencer,” one who exerts influence: a person who inspires or guides the actions of others. There are millions of influencers across social media platforms today... who are some of the most famous influencers today? Who influences you? How have they influenced you?We may follow someone for different reasons, but we may also notice that the influence someone has on a person can be temporary as fads or circumstances change - most often due to false claims or offensive material. So, how do you know if an influencer is the real deal? ... LONGEVITYWhether we realize it or not, the idea of influencers is nothing new, in fact it started in the beginning – in the book of Genesis, Satan influenced Eve to sin when he sold her a bill of goods that got her, and her husband, kicked out of the Garden of Eden. Since that time, the power of influence is everywhere. But there is one influencer who had stood the test of time - God. His influence, as seen in His plan to repair the damage done by Satan, working through average people like you, to influence the world and reconcile others to Him, has lasted for thousands of years and continues on.Our new series, “Influencers” will take a look at some of the greatest influencers throughout history, the impact they made, and how it all ties into Jesus and the plan of salvation. The series begins the weekend of March 22-23 and goes through Easter. We invite you to invite your friends and family to join us for Easter Services on Saturday the 22nd at 5:30 PM and Sunday Morning at 10:30AM. Kids' Church and Youth are available at the Sunday service only.Regular Service Times are Saturday Evening at 5:30pm and Sunday Morning at 10:30 am.
