Roberto Fierro is Director, Legislative Strategy with BSA | The Software Alliance.  BSA is a leading advocate for the global software industry before governments and in the international marketplace. With headquarters in Washington, D.C., and operations in more than 30 countries, BSA pioneers compliance programs that promote legal software use and advocates for public policies that foster technology innovation and drive growth in the digital economy. As a member of the Legislative Strategy team, Roberto helps drive engagement with the U.S. Congress by developing government relations strategies and implementing plans to advance BSA's policy agenda. Roberto attended the University of San Diego for his undergraduate studies, and the University of Denver for his master's degree. His first foray into politics was working in the office of the County of San Diego Auditor and Controller. Roberto then worked in education in a number of different capacities, before taking a position with Solidarity Strategies, working in administrative and financial management.
