Christina Parks, Ph.D., is convinced that messenger RNA, or mRNA, technology is here to stay. From one perspective, it's the vaccine industry's attempt to clean up its manufacturing processes. Previous methods used animal cells and aborted fetuses to make vaccines. This came with a host of animal viruses and human cell fragments mixed into the vaccine that caused health problems in the vaccinated. But when Ms. Parks looked closer, the new mRNA vaccines also have their own problems. These problems again reside in the manufacturing process. Worse yet, the inherent nature of mRNA can have consequences that we haven't had the time to fully understand.
