Jordan Sather and Nate Prince tackle a rumor mill moment first: Robert Malone claims RFK Jr. is set to resign as HHS Secretary in July, and HHS immediately fires back calling it fake news. Jordan, who has tracked Malone's track record before, is skeptical but keeping receipts. Then things get heavy fast. Senator Ron Johnson calls the COVID vaccine cover up a scandal bigger than Watergate, and a powerful clip from a Children's Health Defense event captures the moment people realized the system was lying to them. On a lighter note, RFK and Ben Greenfield talk biohacking basics: sunlight, breathwork, and why you do not need fifty bottles of skincare products. The FDA approves a new sunscreen ingredient after 25 years, and Jordan explains why most drugstore sunscreens are trash. Plus, ivermectin shows real promise in cancer treatment, screwworm creeps back into Texas, and a new study links ultra processed food to a 60 percent higher dementia risk. Coke and Hershey are apparently on board with MAHA now. Sure.
In early May 2026, transport vans rolled out of Ridglan Farms in Blue Mounds, Wisconsin, carrying beagles toward new lives—grass under their paws, sunlight on their faces, and homes instead of stacked wire cages. Nearly 1,500 beagles were purchased by rescue organizations like Big Dog Ranch Rescue and the Beagle Freedom Project after years of documented suffering at one of the nation's largest commercial beagle breeders for biomedical research. This outcome marks a rare, tangible win for animal advocates. But it came only after daring direct-action raids, mass protests met with tear gas and rubber bullets, a special prosecutor's investigation, and persistent legal pressure. Even now, roughly 500 dogs may remain behind as Ridglan winds down its commercial breeding operations by July 1, 2026. The Ridglan story is not just about one facility. It exposes deep, systemic failures in U.S. law that leave millions of animals in laboratories with minimal protections—and even those “covered” by federal rules often receive little meaningful relief. The Raids That Forced Change On March 15, 2026, activists from groups linked to the Coalition to Save the Ridglan Dogs breached fences and buildings at Ridglan Farms. They removed around 22–30 beagles. Some were successfully rehomed; others were recovered by police. However, an estimated 2000 beagles remained in captivity, potentially subject to additional horrific experimentation. Our guest, Dean Guzman Wyrzykowski, was one of these activists. A second, larger action on April 18 drew roughly 1,000 protesters to rescue the remaining beagles. Law enforcement responded with tear gas, pepper spray, and rubber bullets. No additional dogs could be rescued that day. Dozens of protesters were arrested, including our guest on The Breggin Hour, Dean Guzman Wyrzykowski, a San Francisco Bay Area-based animal rights activist and political organizer. He is co-founder of The Simple Heart Initiative—a nonprofit dedicated to advancing species equality through open rescue, impact litigation, undercover investigations, and activist training. With over eight years in nonprofit advocacy, Dean has recruited and trained hundreds of activists and is one of the lead organizers of the Ridglan campaign. He now faces serious felony burglary charges—potentially up to 12 years in prison—along with several co-defendants for the first March 15, 2026, rescue effort. Further charges may be pending. As a top priority, we urge that the charges be reduced or dropped to reflect the vastly important ethical basis of the actions of these animal advocates. How to Help Dean Dean reports that the best way to assist him with legal costs is to become a paid subscriber to his Substack at Urbananimal.substack.com. To support ending the breeding of dogs for lab testing, go to Save the Dogs, make a donation, and join over 111,581 others who have already signed the petition to end breeding of dogs for laboratory use. These weren't the first efforts to expose and stop the abuses of these dogs. Ridglan had faced scrutiny for years, including earlier investigations. The raids amplified public outrage and accelerated negotiations between rescuers and Ridglan Farms. In late April, rescue groups announced they had reached a deal to acquire ~1,500 dogs. Transports began in early May, with many “frosted face” seniors (older dogs with graying muzzles) now adjusting to life outside the facility—initially flinching at touch but quickly learning to wag tails and play. Decades of Alleged Cruelty at Ridglan — and Why It Is Winding Down Ridglan Farms operated for decades as a major supplier of beagles for testing. Former employees and state inspections described windowless warehouses, stacked cages over waste pits, high ammonia levels, rusted wires causing injuries, and routine surgeries (including eye procedures and devocalizations) performed without anesthesia or proper pain relief—sometimes by non-veterinarians. In 2025, Wisconsin's Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection (DATCP) cited Ridglan for hundreds of violations. A judge found probable cause for animal cruelty. Special Prosecutor Tim Gruenke was appointed to investigate. Rather than face criminal charges, Ridglan chose to wind down. In a negotiated settlement in late 2025, the company agreed to surrender its Wisconsin commercial dog-breeding license by July 1, 2026. This effectively ends its large-scale commercial breeding and sales of beagles to external laboratories. In exchange, the state dropped the threat of felony animal cruelty prosecutions. This agreement was driven by years of accumulated citations, whistleblower testimony, undercover investigations, and intense public and activist pressure. While Ridglan can still conduct limited on-site research under its federal USDA licenses, its days as a major commercial beagle supplier are over. Parallels with Envigo and Other Scandals Ridglan is far from isolated. In 2022, a major scandal erupted at Envigo's breeding facility in Cumberland, Virginia. PETA's undercover investigation revealed severe neglect: inadequate food, veterinary care, housing, and staffing; dead puppies were left among litters; and unqualified staff performed invasive procedures. The U.S. Department of Justice intervened, leading to the rescue of over 4,000 beagles—the largest such seizure in U.S. history. Envigo (and its parent company Inotiv) later pleaded guilty to conspiring to violate the Animal Welfare Act and the Clean Water Act, agreeing to pay a record $35 million+ in fines and shutting down the breeding operation. From the Beagles to the Breggins, Senator Bill Stanley Sought Justice for the Underdog At a state level, key Virginia state legislators were involved in advocating for stronger animal welfare regulations in response to documented Animal Welfare Act violations, poor conditions, and high puppy mortality in the facility. Sen. Bill Stanley (R-Franklin County) was a leading champion at the state level. He visited the facility multiple times, co-sponsored several “Beagle Bills” in 2022 (e.g., SB 87, SB 88, SB 90, SB 604) to increase oversight, close loopholes for research animals, require adoption offers before euthanasia, and penalize repeat violators. He adopted two Envigo beagles (Daisy and Dixie) and worked on adoptions/rescues. We are especially happy to acknowledge Sen. Stanley's contributions because, among several attorneys we contacted to defend us against Robert Malone's lawfare defamation suit against us for $25 million, Bill was the first attorney willing to seriously pursue our case, which ended in the presiding judge throwing Malone's case out of court. From the beagles to the Breggins, Senator Stanley has sought justice for the underdog. The Sand Fly Experiments and High-Profile Scandals Public outrage over government-funded beagle suffering peaked in the early 2020s with revelations about NIH-funded experiments under Dr. Anthony Fauci's National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID). One widely criticized study involved beagle puppies in Tunisia exposed to sand flies carrying parasites (to study leishmaniasis). Reports described dogs having their heads locked in mesh cages filled with infected sand flies, being used as live bait in desert cages overnight, and in some cases undergoing cordectomies (vocal cord removal) to silence barking. The experiments sparked bipartisan congressional criticism and intense media coverage. The Nonhuman Rights Project (NhRP) and partners filed habeas corpus petitions seeking court recognition of the Ridglan dogs' right to freedom from cruelty and immediate remedies. While initial petitions faced dismissal, appeals continue for the remaining animals. Why U.S. Law Fails Experimental Animals The core federal statute is the Animal Welfare Act (AWA) of 1966 (and its amendments), enforced by the USDA's Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS). It sets minimum standards for housing, feeding, veterinary care, and handling of certain animals. Critical Limitations Include: Massive Species Exclusions: Rats, mice, and birds bred for research—accounting for roughly 95% of lab animals—are explicitly excluded. Cold-blooded animals and others also fall outside coverage. Weak Standards for Covered Species: Even for dogs, cats, primates, etc., the AWA permits painful procedures if deemed “scientifically necessary.” There is no outright ban on specific types of experiments. Self-Regulation via IACUCs: Institutional Animal Care and Use Committees—dominated by researchers at the institutions they oversee—review protocols. Approval rates hover near 98%, with limited external oversight. Enforcement Gaps: Under-resourced inspections, reliance on self-reporting, and modest penalties limit impact. Ridglan itself had passed many USDA inspections despite state-level findings of serious issues. Property Status: Animals remain legal property. Novel habeas efforts like the Nonhuman Rights Project (NhRP) challenge this but face significant judicial hurdles, as courts have historically rejected animal “personhood” claims. For those of us who learned in childhood about unconditional love from our dogs, they are not only of equal value to people, but they seem on a higher spiritual level in the love they have given to us. Other frameworks, such as the Public Health Service Policy, apply only to federally funded research and offer even less robust enforcement. The 2022 FDA Modernization Act opened doors to non-animal alternatives, but broader statutory mandates for the “3Rs” (Replacement, Reduction, Refinement) remain limited. Reform efforts often stall due to powerful research lobbies, congressional agriculture committees' oversight, and public support for medical research that can overshadow welfare concerns. Broader Context and the Path Forward Ridglan and Envigo show that systemic problems persist despite occasional rescues and fines. Millions of animals continue to be used annually in U.S. labs, yet positive developments exist: growing adoption of alternatives (organ-on-chip, AI modeling, human cell cultures), increased rehoming programs, and shifting public opinion favoring stronger protections. The Ridglan victory shows that sustained pressure—investigations, lawsuits, public protest, and direct rescue—can force change where law falls short. Yet relying on activists risking felony charges is not sustainable. Meaningful reform requires: Expanding Animal Welfare Act coverage to all vertebrates. Stronger, independent oversight and enforcement with real penalties. Mandatory consideration and funding for non-animal methods. Judicial tools (like effective habeas relief) to address cruelty in licensed facilities promptly. A Call to Readers The beagles now tasting freedom represent hope—but hundreds may still face uncertainty, and systemic issues persist for countless others. Share their stories. Support reputable rescues and organizations like The Simple Heart Initiative, the Nonhuman Rights Project, Beagle Freedom Project, and others working on legal and legislative fronts. Contact your representatives and demand real modernization of the Animal Welfare Act. Persistence works. Now we must translate outrage into lasting legal change—so no more facilities like this exist in the first place. What are your thoughts on balancing research needs with animal welfare? Ein Kommentar von Claudia Töpper.Prof. Jonathan Howard and Wendy Orent call this week their "Red Wedding": within days, FDA Commissioner Marty Makary resigned, Vinay Prasad was pushed out of CBER, Tracy Beth Hoeg was fired, and Senator Bill Cassidy lost his Louisiana primary. The hosts argue this is not a tragedy but a long-foretold collapse — a group of physicians who built careers as COVID-era contrarian podcasters discovering that running a regulatory agency is fundamentally different from posting about one. Howard works through the wreckage: Makary's reported approval of flavored nicotine products days before his ouster, the FDA's treatment of the rare disease community, the leaked memo claiming pediatric COVID vaccine deaths that career staff refused to sign off on, and the broader pattern of "regulatory whiplash" that drove the agency into dysfunction. The episode then turns to who is still standing — Jay Bhattacharya at NIH, Robert F. Kennedy Jr. at HHS — and what Kennedy is reportedly doing to vaccines from behind the scenes via Martin Kulldorff's review effort. Throughout, the hosts return to a single thesis: the skills that made Makary, Prasad, Hoeg, and Cassidy famous during COVID — opinion, tweeting, posturing — do not translate into running institutions, and the medical commentators who vouched for them (John Mandrola, Adam Cifu) have lost any remaining credibility. Key Topics Discussed Bill Cassidy's primary loss and the cost of the Kennedy confirmation vote Cassidy's earlier vote to convict Trump after January 6 followed by his decisive vote advancing RFK Jr. as HHS Secretary. Howard and Orent's view that Cassidy's promise to "keep Kennedy in line" was hollow from the start. What Cassidy's defeat signals about Trump's grip on the Republican base in Louisiana — and the hosts' read that his lame-duck status may give him cover to block the next round of HHS nominees. Marty Makary's resignation and the "worst FDA Commissioner in 25 years" framing The Stat News piece characterizing Makary's tenure, and the reporting that flavored nicotine was the precipitating issue with Trump's tobacco-industry donors. Howard's counterpoint: Makary reportedly approved a batch of electronic nicotine delivery systems (ENDS) on May 5, 2026 — the weekend before he resigned — undercutting the "principled stand" narrative. The pattern of selfie videos, public-facing performance, and what former FDA staff describe as hostile management of career scientists. Makary's pre-FDA record: the "medical error is the third leading cause of death" claim, Omicron as "nature's vaccine," "Omicold," herd immunity calls in May 2021, and the Nazi-bioweapon Lyme disease theory amplification. Vinay Prasad, regulatory whiplash, and the rare disease community How Prasad's stated preference for randomized controlled trials translated into rejection of rare disease therapies — and the disconnect between calling for RCTs on Twitter and the practical impossibility of running them for small patient populations. Right-to-try advocates, the libertarian wing of MAHA (Senator Ron Johnson), and why they turned on Prasad. Howard's point: Pfizer's halted COVID vaccine RCT in 50–65-year-olds is the case study — the trials Prasad demanded couldn't actually be enrolled. Tracy Beth Hoeg, the leaked pediatric deaths memo, and the Maryanne Demasi interview Hoeg's insistence she was fired, not resigned, and her interview with Brownstone Institute–adjacent journalist Maryanne Demasi. Her claim that the chaos at the FDA was "created by the media" rather than real. The memo alleging 10 pediatric deaths from the COVID vaccine that career FDA staff would not sign off on — and Howard's contrast with the J&J/thrombosis response, where nine deaths produced immediate, transparent action. Hoeg's role in the Denmark-style vaccine schedule rollback memo alongside Makary. The Makary–Prasad ZDoggMD clip on FDA "vindictiveness" — and the irony Audio pulled from a pre-appointment Prasad/Makary appearance describing the FDA as "erratic," "capricious," and politically pressured. Howard's read: every criticism they leveled at the Biden-era FDA describes their own tenure — political pressure from Trump, demoted career staff, inconsistent standards. The Peter Marks / Marion Gruber / Phil Krause booster episode reframed in light of what followed. John Mandrola, Adam Cifu, and the cost of vouching Mandrola's "Can We Give the New FDA's Leadership a Chance?" piece a year earlier — and the line about Prasad and Makary inducing companies to run proper RCTs, set against Pfizer's halted trial. Howard's account of an email exchange with Cifu following Cifu's visit to NYU — Howard's offer of a serious content-level conversation, and Cifu's decline. The broader "medical conservatives" project and what the hosts argue has happened to its credibility. Jay Bhattacharya, NIH, and the resignation letter from departing staff The letter from a senior NIH scientist on Bhattacharya's leadership — political termination of grants, deals institutions are making to recover funding, and Bhattacharya's silence. Howard and Orent's read on Bhattacharya's visible deterioration and his retreat into Great Barrington nostalgia. Kennedy's behind-the-scenes vaccine review and Martin Kulldorff The New York Times reporting (Christina Jewett and Sheryl Gay Stolberg) on Kennedy's vaccine inquiry being led by Kulldorff. Howard's pushback on the framing of Kulldorff as merely "a critic of restrictions and mandates" — and the 2020 record of his herd-immunity-through-infection advocacy, including his Stockholm "almost at herd immunity" claim in April 2020. The hosts' concern that the COVID amnesia project lets pandemic-era pro-infection figures re-enter regulatory power with their record sanitized. Casey Means, Surgeon General nomination withdrawal, and MAHA fracturing The withdrawn Surgeon General nomination and what it signals. The Robert Malone vs. Makary public falling-out over the unreleased pediatric deaths data. Why the MAHA coalition — held together by shared COVID grievance — is coming apart now that COVID has receded from headlines. Notable Moments On Cassidy: "He betrayed his oath as a physician, he betrayed the American people, and he's going down into the ignominious dust." — Wendy Orent On the Makary–Prasad–Hoeg trio: "The same skill sets that catapulted these guys to power — essentially being excellent podcasters — do not translate into leading a government agency of tens of thousands of employees that regulates 20 percent of the US economy." — Jonathan Howard On the legacy: "These guys are now cautionary tales for medical students. I would love to teach a course called 'Be the Opposite of Bill Cassidy, Marty Makary, Vinay Prasad, and Tracy Beth Hoeg.'" — Jonathan Howard On Bhattacharya: "His soul has been totally corrupted by the people who he teamed up with. You also see it in his face. He's not the same person that took the position." — Jonathan Howard References Mentioned in the Episode Stat News — "Why Marty Makary Was the Worst FDA Commissioner in 25 Years" Vinay Prasad's 2016 Stat News rebuttal of Makary's "medical error" claim David Gorski (Science-Based Medicine, 2016) — rebuttal of the medical-error-as-third-leading-cause-of-death claim Jonathan Howard, Science-Based Medicine — recent piece compiling Makary's COVID-era statements New York Times — Christina Jewett and Sheryl Gay Stolberg on Kennedy's vaccine inquiry Washington Post — "Ouster of RFK's Allies Tests MAHA-Trump Alliance" Ben Mazer, The Atlantic — on whether Makary and Prasad enacted lasting change Francis Lee — In COVID's Wake Alfred Crosby — America's Forgotten Pandemic Maryanne Demasi interview with Tracy Beth Hoeg MedPage Today — Makary and Prasad, "The Importance of Humility in Medicine" People Referenced Marty Makary — outgoing FDA Commissioner Vinay Prasad — former CBER Director Tracy Beth Hoeg — fired FDA official Senator Bill Cassidy (R-LA) — lost primary Robert F. Tom interviews investigative journalist Sonia Elijah about her book 3/11 Viral Takeover, a five-year, evidence-based chronicle of the COVID era with 941 citations drawn from FOIA releases, emails, and leaked documents. Elijah argues COVID policy reflected a coordinated, censorship-driven response, tracing a timeline of pre-2020 pandemic exercises, media/government coordination, and conflicts of interest. She discusses the WHO's March 11, 2020 pandemic declaration, alleged suppression of lab-origin discussion, flawed modeling used to justify lockdowns, and problems with PCR testing. The conversation covers propaganda and censorship networks (including the Trusted News Initiative), suppression of early treatments, harms from ventilators and drugs, and allegations of misclassified vaccine trial and safety data, including pregnancy and myocarditis concerns, urging accountability and preparedness against repetition.00:00 Meet Sonia Elijah00:18 Book Thesis and Censorship01:17 Research Depth and Purpose02:49 Will It Happen Again04:40 Why 3 11 Matters06:01 Pandemic Drills and mRNA Push10:53 Bat Database Goes Dark12:18 FOIA Emails and Lab Leak15:04 Cracks and Conflicts18:10 Lockdowns Driven by Models19:19 PCR Testing Anomalies25:31 Harms and Care Homes26:37 Testing Kit Profiteering29:40 Fear Messaging and Propaganda32:10 Dancing Nurses and Empty Wards33:39 Trusted News Initiative37:17 Natural Immunity Censored38:17 Lancet Study Fallout40:13 Ivermectin Smear Campaign41:57 Silencing Doctors Online43:30 Hospital Protocol Controversies45:09 Redefining Vaccinated Data46:38 Retracted Myocarditis Research48:46 Missing Safety Reports53:31 Pfizer Papers Deep Dive58:13 Vaccine Injured Silenced59:52 Pregnancy Harms Revealed01:04:40 Justice and Accountability01:07:32 Closing Thoughts on the Bookhttps://x.com/sonia_elijahhttps://linktr.ee/SoniaElijahBook Review by Robert Malone— 3/11: Viral Takeover: https://www.malone.news/p/book-review-311-viral-takeoverOrder it at Amazon here: https://www.malone.news/p/book-review-311-viral-takeover=========Slides, summaries, references, and transcripts of my podcasts: https://tomn.substack.com/p/podcast-summariesMy Linktree: https://linktr.ee/tomanelson1
RFK Jr.'s push to reduce antidepressant dependence is drawing fire from MSNBC and Reuters, and Jordan and Nate break down why. With 1 in 6 American adults on SSRIs and the global market generating $20 billion per year, the push for deprescribing pathways backed by a new CMS billing code is a genuine disruption to pharma revenue. RFK shares a personal account of a family member's SSRI withdrawal he describes as harder than heroin detox. The show then dismantles the hantavirus media cycle: 5 cases on a cruise ship, Moderna already codeveloping a vaccine, and Robert Malone reminding everyone that a lightning strike is statistically more likely. FDA Commissioner Makary's admission that the FDA deliberately misled the public on dietary fat for nearly two decades gets its moment, followed by a DOJ investigation into the Big Four meatpackers for antitrust violations and foreign ownership concerns. The episode closes with a discussion on statin overuse, CoQ10 depletion, thyroid health, iodine sources, and the structural problem of corporate consolidation across farming and food supply chains.

Rescue the Republic 2026 In Grand Rapids, Michigan May 22 http://www.americansforibogaine.org/ https://www.jointheresistance.org/ Josie sits down with Angela McArdle, Eric Bolling, Dr. Robert Malone, and Brian Hubbard for a candid discussion on politics, public health, and the future of the America First movement. They break down Trump's policy evolution, the push for unity across political factions, and rising concerns about chronic illness, Big Pharma, and food safety, including the growing debate around glyphosate. Plus, a look at the upcoming "Rescue the Republic" event and what it means for the movement going forward.
Jonathan and Wendy unpack the most surprising political move of Trump's second term: the nomination of Dr. Erica Schwartz — a physician, lawyer, former Coast Guard public health official, and unapologetic architect of military vaccine mandates — to run the CDC. Praised by figures like Jerome Adams, Vin Gupta, and Dorit Reiss, and openly loathed by RFK Jr.'s attack-dog attorney Aaron Siri, Schwartz's selection is read as a signal that the White House is quietly sidelining Kennedy ahead of the midterms and trying to win back the saner corners of the GOP. From there, the hosts dig into the widening fault lines inside MAHA: Marty Makary vs. Robert Malone — the "10 children killed by the COVID vaccine" report Makary promised has never materialized, and Malone is now publicly accusing him of the exact cover-up Makary accused his predecessors of. Vinay Prasad's exit from the FDA — his much-hyped randomized controlled trial of the Pfizer COVID vaccine in healthy 50–64-year-olds failed to recruit, proving (again) that tweeting about RCTs is easier than running them. Jonathan plays Prasad's own year-old promise back against him. The rumored FDA replacement — ophthalmologist and Twitter personality David Hooman, whose COVID-vaccine misinformation record would send exactly the wrong signal. Jay Bhattacharya on the rally circuit — CPAC, Turning Point USA, Kennedy rallies, DeSantis rallies — all while insisting "science shouldn't be political." Plus his role in suppressing a CDC vaccine-safety study and the UCSF faculty petition to block Prasad's return. The peptides free-for-all at the FDA, and why Kennedy still has enough juice to throw bones to his wellness-grifter base. Steve says Trump's endeavor in Iran is proving many of the naysayers wrong, but if it isn't wrapped up relatively quickly with a clear win for the American people, some of the worst factions of America's political landscape will be emboldened and vindicated. Then, Dr. Robert Malone joins the program to discuss his time at the CDC on an important vaccine advisory committee and why RFK Jr. still faces a gargantuan task at HHS. In Hour Two, Fake News or Not reacts to three clips and posts that caught Steve's eye recently. Finally, rabbi and commentator Pesach Wolicki joins the program to discuss a viral story that surfaced while the crew was off. The episode opens with a caffeine-fueled kickoff and a memorable trivia night story before pivoting into "Judges Gone Wild." Tim breaks down the Olympus Spa case in Washington, where a traditional Korean women-only nude spa was sued for refusing entry to a biological male identifying as a trans woman — and the now-famous Judge Van Dyke dissent that called out the court's selective outrage. From there, they unpack a Massachusetts ruling against HHS and ACIP's revised childhood vaccine schedule, the 1986 Childhood Vaccine Safety Act implications, and why liability — not science — is driving the legal pushback. The second half shifts gears into a conversation every couple needs to hear. Inspired by a viral clip outlining four habits of strong marriages — have more fun together, pray together, make eye contact, and always be touching — Tim and May reflect on grievance culture in therapy, right-hemisphere bonding, the power of 20-second hugs, and why meeting each other's core needs matters more than chasing Hollywood-style romance. They close with a plug for their Substack series on fixing healthcare, including this week's piece, "Exorcism." CONNECT WITH US Thanks for joining us — you are the reason we are here. Have questions? Good morning from Pharma Daily: the podcast that brings you the most important developments in the pharmaceutical and biotech world. Today, we delve into the fast-paced changes shaping these sectors, focusing on the latest scientific breakthroughs, regulatory shifts, and industry trends.First off, Denali Therapeutics has achieved a significant milestone with FDA approval for its enzyme replacement therapy targeting Hunter syndrome, a rare genetic disorder. This therapy addresses neurological complications that have been challenging to treat, marking a pivotal moment for the rare disease community. Hunter syndrome is characterized by enzyme deficiencies leading to harmful accumulations in the body. The availability of this treatment not only provides new hope for patients but also underscores the potential of targeted therapies to manage complex neurological symptoms effectively. In oncology, Corcept Therapeutics has secured FDA approval for Lifyorli (relacorilant), designed for platinum-resistant ovarian cancer patients who have already undergone multiple lines of systemic treatment. This approval highlights the critical importance of strategic clinical trial design and persistent regulatory engagement, expanding treatment options for a patient population with limited alternatives.Meanwhile, Ionis Pharmaceuticals made headlines by slashing the annual price of Tryngolza by 93% ahead of its intended label expansion for severe hypertriglyceridemia. This strategic move aims to make the drug more accessible and capture a broader market share while addressing pricing pressures from regulators and patients alike. Such pricing strategies might set new precedents in the industry, particularly for drugs initially developed for rare diseases now targeting more common conditions. The funding landscape presents challenges as biopharma investment has dropped 20% in 2025. Companies are now prioritizing high-impact projects over broader portfolios, reflecting a shift towards focused R&D investments. This cautious climate may accelerate breakthroughs in prioritized areas yet poses risks if diversification is neglected.Regulatory dynamics are also in flux. The departure of Dr. Robert Malone from the CDC's Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices highlights ongoing tensions within vaccine advisory panels. These developments underscore the intricate balance between scientific evidence, public health policy, and stakeholder communication in guiding vaccine-related decisions.Technological advancements continue to reshape operations within life sciences companies. AI-driven platforms are playing a vital role in enhancing Medical-Legal-Regulatory processes by offering adaptable solutions that transcend traditional automation limits. This innovation is crucial for organizations aiming to optimize regulatory compliance while maintaining operational efficiency. In medical devices, Philips' AI-powered cath lab copilot has gained FDA clearance in collaboration with Edwards Lifesciences. This technology assists in transcatheter mitral valve repair—a complex procedure requiring precision and real-time data analysis—illustrating how AI can significantly enhance procedural outcomes and patient safety.Shifting focus to genetic therapies, Beam Therapeutics has shown promising progress with its base editing technology for alpha-1 antitrypsin deficiency (AATD), potentially revolutionizing treatment approaches for genetic disorders. Similarly, Sarepta Therapeutics is advancing RNA-based treatments with positive biomarker data for muscular dystrophies, reinforcing RNA therapies as viable alternatives or complements to traditional gene therapies. However, not all news is positive. Wave Life Sciences faced a setback when its obesity drug candidate showed only a modest reduction in body weight over six months. This highlights the competitive pressures and high expectations within metabolic disoSupport the show
First, Dr. Robert Malone breaking down the growing ACIP controversy and the legal and political fallout surrounding the CDC vaccine advisory committee. As a judge sides with the American Academy of Pediatrics against the new vaccine schedule tied to Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and suspends appointments to Kennedy's newly selected committee members, Del and Dr. Malone examines what this means for vaccine policy, public trust, and the future of medical freedom. While an activist court is attempting to reverse RFK Jr's progress at HHS, ICAN's lead attorney Aaron Siri took center stage in the heart of D.C., with an evening presentation and discussion with Senator Ron Johnson at the Kennedy Center. He presented a damning case against the entire vaccine paradigm before an influential audience including federal employees, reps, and the press, that you have to see to believe. Aaron breaks down the powerful evening, and details his recommendations to reform this corrupt program for good. Then, Jefferey Jaxen reports on accelerating AI disruption as Palantir CEO Alex Karp warns of major disruption across society, industry, and global power. What does the AI revolution mean for your future, your work, and the speed of change now underway?Plus, Del sits down with Dr. Patrick Porter, inventor of BrainTap, to discuss nervous system reset, focus, brain optimization, and mastering the mind in an age of nonstop stress and technological overload.Guests: Dr. Robert Malone, Aaron Siri Esq., Dr. Patrick PorterMarch 26, 2026Become a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/the-highwire-with-del-bigtree--3620606/support.

During the Cold War, the Pentagon explored a terrifying possibility: weaponizing insects to spread disease. At laboratories like Fort Detrick and Plum Island, scientists studied ticks, mosquitoes, and fleas as delivery systems for biological agents. Now, newly examined documents are raising unsettling questions. Did secret military experiments help shape the mysterious emergence of Lyme disease in the 1970s? Dr. Robert Malone joins Richard Syrett to investigate one of the most disturbing chapters of biowarfare history. GUEST: Dr. Robert Malone is a physician, biochemist, and internationally recognized pioneer of mRNA vaccine technology whose early research helped lay the foundation for modern genetic vaccines. In recent years he has emerged as a controversial voice examining the intersection of public health, national security, and government transparency. MAHA News is back with a packed Friday show covering the latest developments in health policy, technology, and transparency. The hosts kick things off by discussing a proposed New York bill that would restrict AI chatbots from offering medical or legal advice, raising questions about whether powerful industries are trying to slow the disruption AI is bringing to healthcare and professional services. They also examine a new MIT study suggesting heavy reliance on AI tools may weaken critical thinking and memory retention. From there, the conversation shifts to Robert F. Kennedy Jr.'s push for greater accountability in the food industry, including calls for Dunkin' and Starbucks to release safety data on high sugar drinks. The show also highlights a new initiative requiring medical students at dozens of schools to complete nutrition training before graduation, a step toward addressing chronic disease through better education. Later in the episode, the hosts break down major declassification claims from Dr. Robert Malone linking historical U.S. military experiments to the spread of Lyme disease. They also discuss newly announced peptide policy changes, debates over glyphosate lawsuits, and continued scrutiny of vaccine messaging from federal health agencies.

The Disney movies I grew up with made it easy for a kid like me to recognize good vs. evil. We knew, walking in the door, that goodness would prevail, because it must. The alternative is nothing less than the end of civilization as we know it. Goodness was personified by the beautiful princess, whose purity of heart drew the forest creatures and eventually, a handsome prince. Their union was a symbol of harmony, stability, and happy endings.Evil was embodied in the wicked queen, who was jealous of the princess's purity, so much so that she couldn't rest until the princess was obliterated. Somehow, the villains never know their demise is a certainty because goodness must prevail. Some might say that is what happened to the MAGA movement, one bright sunny day in Utah, when a psycho killer avenging the crippling despair of his transgender furry lover took aim and shot the handsome prince, killing him within minutes. Since then, MAGA has struggled to hold onto the coalition Charlie built, the support for the president he helped elect, and to protect the beautiful princess from the evil forces that threaten to destroy her, Turning Point, and MAGA.Candace Owens might think she's the hero of this story. She's written herself in after she was left on the cutting room floor. She's amassed an audience of dimwitted women and a weaponized army of international bad actors hoping to infiltrate the US and use Candace to shape public opinion. A growing portion of her audience, as with many influencers on the Right now, is comprised of people convinced that Jews are behind every evil thing that ever happens, has ever happened or will ever happen, and in Candace Owens, they've found their princess. Candace is the only one who sees the truth!Candace is an instrument of God!Candace will make sure justice is served! How good it must feel for someone who's always been a whole lotta charisma with no real place to land. She tried out many different masks over time, moving through political parties and various ideologies until finally landing the role of a lifetime: mean girl with a microphone. After being booted out of the Daily Wire, her gossipy YouTube channel would take her into the wet, slimy corners of culture and politics, and her audience would lap it up. But she would hit paydirt when she decided to run with the idea that Brigitte Macron was really a man.Cruelty sells online, and Becoming Brigitte was a huge hit. Getting slapped with a massive lawsuit by the Macrons only seemed to make her more popular. By the end of that mess, everyone knew her name.So then what? Back to Blake Lively and Diddy's Freak-Offs? Not for our Disney villain. She needed something as big, if not bigger. What could really dig into the tender spots and manifest itself as emotional terrorism in the same way? Who is as protected a target? Social media amplifies the ugliness inside of us all. The algorithms do the rest. The Left has been unleashing levels of dehumanization and bullying at Erika Kirk since the day Charlie died. Why her? Who knows. They hated him and were happy he was dead. They wanted to see his widow suffer, especially because she's a pretty blonde. All the while, Candace, who'd been sidelined from Charlie's life, didn't attend his wedding to Erika, so the story goes, and was pushed out of TPUSA and not present at the memorial, saw that Erika was suddenly a subject both too hot to touch and impossible to ignore. And yeah, a pretty blonde. And so, just as the evil Queen in Snow White can't stand it any longer and sends a huntsman to kill what torments her, Candace finally pulled the lever, especially after Erika Kirk told her to stop, in an interview with the very Jewish Bari Weiss, no less.So many women, and even some men, wanted to see our princess fall, and Candace was more than happy to serve it up fresh and hot. The Disney PrincessCharlie Kirk's marriage to Erika was always met with the refrain, “she's out of his league.” Charlie got lucky and found himself a true beauty. Half Syrian/Lebanese and half Swedish. Erika Kirk looks like no one else. With cascading platinum locks and sparkling blue eyes, she was Charlie's dream girl. How did he ever get so lucky? He saw her, knew he wanted her, and he said to her, “I don't want to hire you. I want to date you,” so goes the famous story of how they met.Candace is pretty, but she's not that pretty. Few women are. Candace had to develop other skills that pretty girls usually don't have to worry about. Candace is better on camera than Erika. She is better at performing and at storytelling. Erika is still slightly awkward and hasn't yet found her voice. She's trying under enormous pressure and undeserved scrutiny to keep Turning Point alive and make Charlie's dreams come true. Not to mention caring for two small children and an ailing mother. But it's Erika's beauty, especially her leaning into her half-Swedish identity, that seems to drive Candace into fits of despair and jealousy. What else could explain it? Candace admits she wasn't the kind of kid that people sought out to be in beauty pageants. “I was funny looking,” she says. “I had an underbite.”And therein lies the tragedy of Candace Owens. She has an abundance of charisma and is a gifted storyteller. But none of that gave her the happy ending she wanted because it was never about the handsome prince. She wanted power, influence, all eyes on her. And that has taken her down a dark path.A Disney VillainHer slice and dice this time would be called The Bride of Charlie, like the Bride of Frankenstein (get it, FrankenSTEIN?), with Charlie as the hapless creature, and Erika built just for him and used as bait to lure him into a trap that would eventually get him killed. The views were up in the millions as Candace's audience spread the lies and rumors far and wide on social media. Her idiot followers pretended like there was something to the story when it was obvious they just needed another woman to hurl into the public arena, our modern-day Colosseum. Why? Because they're bored, they're stupid, and they don't know what else to do with their time. Her “investigative series” is a whole lotta nothing. It is petty and dumb, revealing that Candace just wants to be back in the movie and keeps writing herself back into the script.“He was like a little brother to me,” she has said. No one would treat their little brother this way. She brags about encouraging Charlie to date women and pushing him toward Erika. All the while suggesting she was more important to Charlie, to Turning Point, to the entire world than Erika ever could be. Pick MELook at METalk about MENot her.But not even Charlie is as important as the bigger conspiracy that Israel killed him. Candace repurposed Charlie's corpse as proof of her delusional fantasies that Israel would even bother. She has invented a version of Charlie that never existed and used him as a prop to push insane levels of Jew hate not seen for a long time in media, if ever, not counting Nazi Germany. It wouldn't be until the US and Israel bombed Iran that it would all come together for her in a nice, neat package. They needed Charlie out of the way so they could start this war. Whatever is happening now, courtesy of algorithms and anonymous users driving influencers farther to the Right, Robert Malone warns that we're seeing the kind of hate we haven't seen since World War II, the last Fourth Turning. And So Shines a Good Deed in a Weary WorldCalling out Candace Owens is dangerous. Once she makes you a target, her minions will attack like the flying monkeys in The Wizard of Oz. Some people on the Right do have the courage not so much to attack Candace, although plenty have, but to stand up for Erika. One such person is the Daily Wire's Matt Walsh, who dedicated an entire show to exposing just how ridiculous The Bride of Charlie actually is, and none of it is evidence of any crime. It's not true, Matt says, and so it's wrong. But for someone like him, who mostly exists in the Tucker Carlson lane, to do so was brave. The whole video is worth watching, and you can find it here. Here is how he opens it:Candace might be playing with fire like Alex Jones did when he was hit with a billion-dollar lawsuit after Sandy Hook. Candace is slippery in the things she says, always careful to add “in my imagination” or “this is speculation.” But she has done visible harm to Erika Kirk's reputation, the very definition of defamation. She's also made the children of Charlie Kirk have to grow up with these lies, this unfair albatross that will haunt them forever. How could anyone who calls themselves a friend of Charlie do that?So that's all the more reason I was moved by Matt Walsh's willingness to go there. He didn't attack her, and he could have. He didn't destroy her, and he could have. He tried to appeal to the better angels of her nature, but the thing is, I don't think she has any. Matt was a very good friend of Charlie Kirk, and this is what friends do. They don't pillage the corpse for clicks and views. They don't bully, harass, and smear the widow and endanger the lives of their children. They don't try to dismantle the movement Charlie built. Candace was no friend to Charlie Kirk. But Matt was. If I had to guess, I'd say he made a silent promise to his good friend that he would step up and provide support and be a kind of guardian angel for Erika and their two kids. His monologue is so good, so well written, so moving it should have been more of a reason for others to do the same. But the content churn won't allow it. It's onto the next thing.Matt's monologue makes me think Charlie Kirk was right in how he chose his closest friends. If it's true that he had parted ways with Candace Owens before his death, that speaks volumes. If his legacy is to be handed over to anyone, let it be to those who cared about him, so they care about Erika. Those seeking to destroy the ones Charlie loved the most should be kept far, far away. But all you have to do is listen to Charlie's voice, to his children, and to Erika to find solid ground. This is real. That other stuff isn't. Charlie Kirk is missed because, like Scott Adams and even the podcast America This Week, he had a calming effect on the spiraling craziness. His words echo from beyond the grave to shame the pretenders like Candace, who can never be like Charlie. In the end, it would turn out that Candace's object of scorn wasn't Erika at all. It was Charlie. She could never be him. She would never be loved like that. She will never lead a movement like he did. She will never change the world. She will always be on the outside, her face pressed against the glass, screaming into the void.Candace cast herself as the villain in our Disney movie. And if her rise has been fascinating to watch, her fall will be spectacular. If, for no other reason, goodness must prevail. // This is a public episode. Hawk recaps the first 48 minutes of a recent Joe Rogan Experience episode featuring comedian Jim Brewer, and it does not disappoint. Joe Rogan and Jim Brewer open with the redacted Jeffrey Epstein autopsy report, zeroing in on a medical detail — Epstein allegedly had no prostate — while the body that was autopsied reportedly did. That discrepancy fuels a lengthy Epstein body double theory, with Rogan firmly believing Jeffrey Epstein is alive and living in Israel. A newly surfaced DOJ email in which an assistant US attorney refers to investigating the murder of Jeffrey Epstein adds another layer to the confusion, since Rogan and Brewer don't even think Epstein is dead. The Epstein files also reference hidden hard drives stashed in storage units across the country, which somehow leads Rogan into a rant about Storage Wars being fake. The conversation then shifts to baseball, steroids, Barry Bonds, Mark McGwire, and the Balco lab before arriving at what Hawk calls the centerpiece of the episode: the Tall Biden Conspiracy. Jim Brewer believes Joe Biden has been dead for years, replaced by a taller body double in a Biden mask whose gait, height, and eye color were all noticeably different from the real Biden. Rogan conducts a full physical analysis of video footage. Neither man detects the irony of warning against conspiracy theories moments later. Hawk reflects on his own history with the Joe Rogan podcast, including a 2020 episode with Dr. Michael Osterholm that accurately predicted COVID's devastating toll — before Rogan went off the rails with COVID conspiracies, antivax rhetoric, and guests like Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and Dr. Robert Malone. This week on The Joe Rogan Experience Review, we break down Joe's latest conversations with Robert Malone, MD (biomedical insider turned institutional critic), Evan Hafer (Special Forces veteran and Black Rifle Coffee founder), Roger Avary (Oscar-winning filmmaker and storytelling obsessive), and Cheryl Hines (comedian, actor, and long-time Hollywood operator). We separate signal from noise, pull the best angles for each episode, and dig into the online reaction and why certain conversations land as "truth" for some listeners and total nonsense for others. If you want the context behind the clips and what these episodes actually reveal about culture, credibility, and where Rogan's head is right now, this is the breakdown. President Trump's Executive Order 14212 established the Make America Healthy Again (MAHA) Commission under the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. to address the nation's escalating childhood chronic disease crisis The MAHA Commission identified four key drivers of illness — poor diet, chemical exposure, chronic stress, and overmedicalization. It also introduced a coordinated national strategy built on research, systems reform, public awareness, and accountability In a recent report by Dr. Robert Malone, one of RFK Jr.'s appointed vaccine advisers, he explains that Congress must turn MAHA's executive directives into law to ensure the reforms become lasting national policy Malone categorized the MAHA legislative agenda into five areas of reform — addressing food standards, medical accountability, agricultural freedom, agency coordination, and government transparency To show your support, call or write your representatives directly, because real reform starts when your voice reaches the people writing the laws that shape your family's future
Today we give a tribute to Charlie Kirk: who he was, how he engaged with people, and what we lost when we lost him. Kirk was a patriot, a Christian, a husband and a father, and believed in the humanity of all people. It's very clear who's on the side of making Americans healthy and safe again and who's not. Stigall lays out very clearly why this presidential administration is focused on saving lives and serving justice on behalf of victims. The hissing and screeching on display during yesterday's hearings was no match for the strength of RFK Jr.s message. A packed show with reaction from Dr. Robert Malone - the inventor of the mRNA delivery and vax technology, Dr. Michael Schwartz - author of "Vaccine Fiction," and the broader cultural implications of what's really ailing our country - mental health and our lack of willingness to discuss it. -
