Branch of biology which studies biological activity at the molecular level
POPULARITY
Sometimes good people are able to withstand one depopulation strategy, like the covaids injections, but they can't withstand next level propaganda that would have them put poison in their body that is likely to make them infertile among other damage.I have been injured by big pharma multiple times in my life, without knowing it, because I believed what doctors said. Now it's easy to withstand the mainstream recommendations, but when I saw the alternative (natural?) health world pushing this dangerous substance (that includes some key elements of the jabs they avoided), I have to draw a line in the sand.Join us for a livestream with Cell and Molecular Biologist, Kelsey Kenny, to talk about the science behind this. Please share to support this information, the facts, science, and history of how this pharmaceutical came to infect the “freedom” world in particular and why it is not “safe and effective” by any stretch of the imagination. Before the 1990s, small bits of RNA were considered junk by most, but the 1993 discovery of microRNA (miRNAs) began to reveal that bits of only 19-24 nucleotides of RNA can have an important gene regulation function in cells. Since their discovery, there has been a flurry of work to catalog known miRNAs and understand their functions, which include being tied to specific disease states such as leukemia. According to our guest, Dr. Guy Novotny, Molecular Biologist at Herlev Hospital in Copenhagen, it's now relatively easy to identify a miRNAs and follow their expression, but to figure out what they're actually doing is a real challenge. We hear how he and his team have recently adopted digital PCR, and the benefits that come with it, to study microRNAs and figure out what proteins they're regulating the expression of. This includes basic research, where Guy is “adding to the big pile of data that's existing out there,” and he also does clinical research that has a closer connection to specific disease states and subject outcomes. As always, you'll get to learn about his career journey and learn that there's really not much that cake cannot fix.Visit the Absolute Gene-ius page to learn more about the guests, the hosts, and the Applied Biosystems QuantStudio Absolute Q Digital PCR System.
Optimizing your gut microbiome is arguably one of the most important things you can do for your health as it plays so many integral roles in almost every body system. This is why, in this episode of Biohacking Superhuman Performance, I chat with Chidozie Ojobor, Ph.D. about the importance of the microbiome's influence on human health, particularly on the gut-brain connection and mental well-being. He discusses the role of butyrate, leaky gut/brain, probiotics, and the importance of diet diversity in promoting a healthy microbiome. The conversation also covers the impact of modern lifestyle, antibiotics, and colon cleansing on gut health, and how to get accessible gut microbiome testing - in particular, the testing done by Vitract. Chidozie Ojobor Ph.D. is a Molecular Biologist with over 12 years of experience in Medical Microbiology research, and the co-founder and Chief Science Officer of Vitract. In his early research years, he worked on human rotaviruses that cause severe gastroenteritis in children. Afterward, he proceeded to earn his Ph.D. in Molecular Genetics from the University of Toronto, Canada. During his doctoral training, he developed through genetic engineering, novel therapeutic entities that target disease-causing bacteria such as the ones found in complex biological ecosystems as the gut microbiome. These tools he developed worked with high specificity and precision, making them the ideal candidates for targeted therapy. Dr. Ojobor's works in the fields he worked in have been well-cited by numerous scientists across the globe. The MacArthur Foundation named its class of 2023 “genius grant" fellows last month. The recipients join an exclusive group of previous fellows who have demonstrated outstanding talent in their fields. The award acknowledges the fellows' demonstrated talent and potential as leaders in their fields. Cellular and molecular biologist Jason Buenrostro is one of this year's MacArthur fellows. "For me, [being a scientist] is like I'm living in a dream. Growing up, my parents didn't graduate high school or my extended family, none of them went to college, and the probability that that things would work out in this way are just unfortunately low rate," said Buenrostro. "I like to think that what was once a challenge for me to move through the academic system, to sit down on the desk and to listen to somebody go on and on about about something in a classroom, is now a tool in my tool belt." Buenrostro, who is also a Harvard University associate professor, studies the mechanisms that “turn on” genes, and is the pioneer of a popular method to assess chromatin accessibility across the genome. There are 20 MacArthur fellows across the country, and Buenrostro is one of four based in the Boston area. We talk with professor Buenrostro for Under the Radar's series, “The Genius Next Door.”

Episode 212 hosts Dr Nichola Conlon a Molecular Biologist from Newcastle, UK. Nichola is an academic scientist with a particular interest in how and why we age. She's the founder of Nuchido, a company who's mission is to help bring affordable anti-aging strategies to the public domain. When we started the IA podcast back in 2019, some of our older episodes covered wellness topics that looked at the relationship between looking good & feeling good. But we didn't address aging itself or the evolving field of what many now refer to as 'regenerative medicine'. Research being conducted here is becoming more and more profound - with some scientists now confident that aging can not only be slowed but even reversed. What will come of this new emerging field we don't know yet, but it's likely to be especially relevant for aesthetic clinics who until now have only had the tools to 'camouflage' the external signs of aging. We discuss: Nichola's background and training What regenerative medicine is How we age and why evolution is against us What happens to our DNA as the body ages The role of inflammation in aging and disease How to measure aging What external factors affect aging The evidence that aging can be slowed and even reversed The role of NAD+ How to take NAD+ and ensure that it's bioavailable The anti-aging role of other medicines including metformin How to measure your biological age (and not your chronological age) Biohacking your aging by modifying your lifestyle including intermittent fasting IA PATREON: Did you know that we have an online injectable education and business mentoring service called IA Patreon? On this episode of The Accutron Show, Bill, David and Scott meet with an eclectic and fascinating personality, Alex Ott. Biochemist, author, molecular biologist, flavor scientist and healer, Alex has traveled the world and has been consulting and inventing for health science and biotech companies in the fields of phytology, biochemistry, and olfactory neuroscience in food & beverage projects, revolutionizing a whole new field in plant science-based product developments. After surviving a harrowing plane crash that killed 101 people, Alex gained a new sense of life and dedicated himself to multiple professions. Tune in to discover the incredible life journey of Alex Ott.Episode Highlights9:00 Preparing drinks in bars made me the "shrink" of Manhattan, trying to help clients with their problems without having anything to do with mixology. I simply applied flavor chemistry and olfactory neuroscience to drinks and added vitamins to it the natural way. That caught on to people.31:00 I was a lucky guy that switched the ticket with another guy to get on an earlier flight. I was living in Thailand working on storyboarding for a movie; I was dating an actress that was working on that movie. We broke up, so I bought a ticket for the following day, and the flight I was on crashed. That experience changed my life again. 35:36 On May 5th I will be part of the "Once Upon a Kitchen" event in Miami with Chef, Massimo Bottura. In the previous edition, I set up a little rain forest on the rooftop of The New World Symphony in Miami where people were picking herbs that went into special drinks I crafted for them and for their mood. What is up with the precocious nature of ovaries and how could a deeper understanding of this organ help women lead longer, more fun lives? The ovaries age two and a half times faster than any other organ in the body, yet we know nothing about why this happens. We will speak to Daisy about the work Oviva is doing to extend the health span of women by developing novel therapeutics that support and hopefully extend the life and function of the ovaries. If she's successful, it could give women the choice of experiencing menopause. With more context around why menopause happens to humans with ovaries and the culture that stigmatizes women's aging, we can reclaim choice and power in our own lives Dr Daisy Robinton is CEO of Oviva, a biotech company focused on Ovarian health and longevity which aims to address the historical gender bias in biomedical research and healthcare. She is a Molecular Biologist and completed a PhD from Harvard in 2016. In 2016 she was listed on the Forbes 30 under 30 for her scientific discoveries. She's also a TEDx speaker and fitness model. When she's not saving the world and being a badass women's Health Advocate, she's a Mama bear to wee baby Scarlett.

On today's podcast, we're going to talk with Molecular Biologist and Founder of Free to Feed, Dr. Trill Paullin (She/Her), about misconception in infant feeding and infant food reactivity. Dr. Trill is mother to two beautiful daughters who had severe infant food reactions to proteins transferred from her diet to breast milk. After processing the painful fact that she could hurt her children through breastfeeding, she started researching how to produce breast milk they could properly digest. Dr. Trill has discovered that many parents experience the same troubling situation. She has created a place for parents to find answers to their questions about infant food reactivity and empower them to reach their feeding goals. Free to Feed was born to provide the research, resources, and support she wished they had early on. They have started this mission by creating an annual subscription to empower parents through their food allergy journey, a tracking app built specifically for this space, personal consultations, as well as an allergy friendly post-natal multivitamin. Free to Feed's team is working hard towards launching an at-home test strip that will allow parents to analyze their breast milk for allergens. We talk about the misconceptions of allergy versus intolerance, what food reactivity actually looks like and how it occurs, and the common foods infants react to and how to remove them from human milk. Content Warning: fear of a child dying, a description of a serious infant food reaction with bloody diapers, and gendered language related to lactation. We all have certain childhood memories that stick. For parenting coach Klara Sedlacek, one defining moment was when she was 8 and a stranger found her crying with fear since she'd received a grade her mother was sure to rage over. The stranger walked her home and deescalated her mother, and likely planted the seeds of why this molecular biologist focuses her career on helping strengthen mother's bonds with their toddlers. You will learn:1. Our ancestral histories can have a direct link to our own stress levels.2. There are many interventions outside of traditional therapy that may assist in interrupting intergenerational negative patterns.3. Rather than blaming our parents, we may pursue Extra Resources: It Did Not Start With You by Mark Wolyn. Molecular biologist Jerneja Caserta was born in Slovenia and got her Bachelor's degree in Molecular Biology in Italy. In 2002 she received her PhD at the same University studying function of proteins that participate in protein synthesis. However, since 2020 she has had to question much of what was previously taken for granted (and still is by her colleagues). In this informative and entertaining episode Jerneja takes us on her journey and process of awakening, which began primarily when she heard that PCR technology was being misused to diagnose so-called “co(n)vid-19” cases. As it happens, Jerneja has over 25 years of experience working with PCR technology and immediately recognised something was seriously wrong with the Narrative. As she quickly realised, there is no c-19 v!rus, and v!rology is a fraudulent branch of science controlled by Big Ph@rma. She now watches her colleagues for the day they too open their eyes and see the truth. Also discussed: her time as a member of the Left, her dalliance with communism, and her nascent interest in exploring the nature of reality and spirituality free of the fetters of the Roman-Catholic indoctrination of her youth. “My goal is to really know how we can provide something that everyone can benefit from; from the insights, from the technology and services.” Kristi is excited to be joined by Sherry Zhang, Molecular Biologist and Founder of GenoPalate, on this week's episode of The Irresistible Factor. GenoPalate is a leading data-driven personalized nutrition platform that utilizes genetic and non-genetic information factors that are important to an individual's metabolic health. Sherry is paving the way to change the way people approach their own health, by spreading awareness of this new, individualistic approach to nutrition. “...Until several years back, there wasn't a way to link your own genetic code, your personalized nutritional needs, with your health through food. That's kind of the problem we're trying to solve.” Sherry and Kristi talk about why a one size fits all approach to solving an individual's health concerns doesn't work and why personalized nutrition is the way of the future. We also talk about how advanced science and technology differentiates them from other testing services.

Dr. Judy Mikovits speaks with Bishop Michael Petro at General Flynn's and Clay Clark's ReAwaken America Tour in Virginia Beach, VA. In this interview Dr. Judy Mikovits discusses how the covid shot is not a vaccine, but a bioweapon. She shares religious exemptions attest the use of aborted fetal cells which carry snake venom peptides in the vaccines just as Dr. Bryan Ardis showed the world. Dr. Judy goes on to share that it will cause autoimmunity, cancer and sterilization in the most vulnerable. Mikovits stated in 2004, the construction of SARS-CoV-2 and the weaponization to make it a human form was published publicly. “It has been in every polio vaccine since 2004, and every polio vaccine is grown in monkey cells. We all have monkeypox, no one is going to get a disease from it, the infection isn't the disease, as long as you keep your immune system healthy you will never get sick…Never ever get another shot, don't watch that poison on TV, fear is the virus, God is the solution.” Dr. Judy Mikovits Dr. Mikovits earned a BA in Chemistry from University of Virginia in 1980 and a PhD in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from George Washington University in 1992. In her forty-year quest to understand the causes, prevent and treat chronic diseases, she has co-authored seminal papers culminating at least a decade of research in four distinct fields: immunology, natural products chemistry, epigenetics, and HIV/AIDs drug development. Dr. Mikovits is a New York Times Best-selling author of the books, Plague, the Truth About Masks, Plague of Corruption, and Ending Plague – A Scholar's Obligation in an Age of Corruption.
