En este episodio te hablo acerca de los temas más apasionantes para un profesional de la calidad, que es cómo mejorar; cómo mejorar los procesos, los productos y servicios, los resultados en general, forma permanente, de forma continua, específicamente del ciclo Deming. Este episodio está basado en el artículo de Noviembre de 2010, Circling Back o Dando vueltas de Ronald D. Moen y Clifford L. Norman publicado por la revista Quality Progress de la Sociedad Americana de la Calidad o ASQ. Y escogí este artículo para comentarlo aquí contigo porque cualquiera que participe en un SGC, seguramente escuchará y aplicará el ciclo PHVA (que son las iniciales de las palabras Planear, Hacer, Verificar, y Actuar) o el ciclo PHEA (que sustituye el Hacer por el Estudiar). En mi experiencia, siempre es bueno conocer el origen de las herramientas que ocupamos en nuestro trabajo diario porque entonces al exponernos a los principios en los que se basa y entenderlos, puedes comprender mejor la teoría y saber cómo aplicarla y eso es lo que deseo exponer aquí: los principios sobre los que se basan los ciclos de mejora. Escucharás acerca del desarrollo del ciclo Deming y te mencionaré los motivos por los cuales yo prefiero el ciclo PHEA sobre el ciclo PHVA en el que está basada la norma ISO 9001. Aunque lo que realmente busco, es que tú mismo conozcas analices ambos ciclos y llegues a tus propias conclusiones.   Sé parte de la gente de calidad.
