The passage for today is Proverbs 12:15. It says, "The way of a fool is right in his own eyes, but a wise man listens to advice." This verse tells us that we should not be too sure of our own opinions. We should be open to listening to advice from others, even if it is not what we want to hear. When we are open to correction, we are more likely to make good decisions and avoid making mistakes. We are also more likely to be successful in our relationships with others. Let's all remember that we are not always right. Let's be open to listening to advice from others and let's be willing to change our minds when we are presented with new information. Let's also remember that we are all works in progress. We are all learning and growing. Let's not be afraid to ask for help when we need it. https://www.facebook.com/followerofone https://instagram.com/followerofone1 https://twitter.com/followerofone1 https://www.linkedin.com/company/follower-of-one

Osceola football analyst Mark Salva takes a second look at FSU-BC with host Bob Ferrante. We discuss struggles in the run game, any concerns about the OL after two injuries, third-and-long was manageable for the Eagles and we look at what is correctable from a win that feels like a setback. And now it's a learning lesson for FSU, which has an opportunity to open 4-0 with a win up at Clemson on Saturday. For more on FSU football, go to theOsceola.com.
Ohio State head coach Ryan Day met with the media on Tuesday afternoon to discuss his team's 23-3 win over the Indiana Hoosiers to open the season. In his 52 games coaching the Buckeyes, it was only the fourth time they were held under 30 points in a game. The other three times came against an elite Iowa defense last year, against Northwestern last year in miserable weather, and in the 2021 National Championship Game against Alabama when the Buckeyes were missing several key players because of CoVID-19. There were clearly issues on the left side of the offensive line in Week 1. Day claims everything they saw on tape is fixable, he shared which linemen graded out as a champion on Saturday, said they aren't going to be a team that solely relies on throwing the ball and shared Kyle McCord's reaction to watching the film together. Brendan Gulick and Anthony Moeglin break down their reaction to Day's comments, as well as whether or not we got any clarity on the QB situation moving forward on Wednesday morning's episode of the Buckeye Breakdown podcast! Are you teachable? Correctable? Whether caught in, confronted with, captured by, or convicted of sin, our response is crucial! Are we sorry…like truly sorry enough to do something positive about it (repent, turn to God, choose life) after we've failed? Or are we sorry only to the point of hopelessness—circling the mental/emotional drain, buying the lie that we've gone too far this time? There are two sorrows—godly sorrow and worldly sorrow. The former will save your life; the latter may kill you. How we respond is crucial and largely dependent on our relationship to God in Christ (or lack thereof).

Being wrong is hard to admit and even tougher to stomach when lots of people point it out. We can learn to be correctable and embrace our vulnerability.
Essential to being a wise man is teachability, correctability and humility. He is a life-long learner. A lone ranger he is not, because he understands and is humble enough to recognize that he does not know everything… he doesn't see everything… he doesn't hear everything… he doesn't discern everything. Another distinguishing characteristic of his is that he has the reigns of his tongue and exhibits self-control. He accepts that wisdom is the principal thing and when he hears the Word, he does it.Support the showWebsite: ourfathersheart.orgPodcast: https://www.ourfathersheart.org/podcast or https://ourfathersheart.buzzsprout.com/shareYouTube Channel: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC_4PEL5CenmViSz2zjH3M6wRumble Channel: https://rumble.com/c/c-877845

Your attitude towards correction would determine the level of grace and anointing you can walk in. This podcast will show you how. Be blessed.
You and I have been invited into a relationship with the One who created heaven and earth (Ps 8), with the One who formed us in our mother's womb and knows our thoughts before there is a word on our tongue (Ps 139), with the One who understands the deepest groanings in the human heart (Ro 8:26-27). We've been offered the opportunity to consult with Him before we make decisions, to heed His warnings that there is danger ahead, and to be given wisdom to solve the most difficult problem or heal the most troubled relationship. The problem is that the right answer, His answer, is often different from our answer. What we would do, what we think is right, whom we would trust is often very different from what He would do, what He thinks is right and whom He would trust in that particular situation. And that difference of opinion creates a real tension inside us. Time and again we're forced to choose between what seems right, or at least necessary to us, and what seems right to Him. Now you would think that choice would be easy. Of course He knows the better way! But oddly, in the moment when the choice must be made it is usually not easy at all. It requires us to accept the fact that He knows something we don't and to trust that He is telling us to do this because He loves us, that it's for our good or at least for the good of someone else. There's no escaping this reality. Ongoing submission is the very essence of our walk with God, and it will be forever. We must be correctable.

Are you always right? Do you often think everyone else is wrong? This passage says if we hate correction, we're stupid. From whom do you learn? Are there people who influence you? Does the Bible inform your actions? Do you listen to anyone other than yourself and the Holy Spirit? If you're truly willing to be corrected, to learn from your mistakes, then you can avoid stupidity. Ask God to show you his correction for you, even when you learn it from coworkers or your boss, too!
