In 2 1/2 years, the parental rights group 'Moms For Liberty' has gained mass traction — from starting with two chapters in Florida to now having 300 across 45 states. Their rapid growth has garnered attention from many influential Republican presidential candidates, including former President Donald Trump and Florida Governor Ron DeSantis. Though, with this expansion comes an uptick in criticism from sources like the Southern Poverty Law Center, which recently included the parental rights organization in their annual "Year In Hate & Extremism" report, alleging the group to be an "anti-student inclusion movement." Moms For Liberty co-founder Tina Descovich says this couldn't be farther from the truth.
