The sequel to Godzilla Against Mechagodzilla, Japan repairs Mechagodzilla and tinkers with his DNA to keep the soul of the 1954 Godzilla at bay. Eventually, we get another battle between the current Godzilla and Mechagodzilla, but this time they are not alone. Keeping continuity with the original Mothra (1961), old characters return!
Snatching defeat from the jaws of victory, the team presents part 1 of their review of Godzilla Against Mechagodzilla. In this film, Japan does the 1954 Godzilla dirty, playing god with his bones and using them to make an archnemesis for another Godzilla, who has recently been making their life difficult. This film is the 4th movie in Godzilla's Millenium series.
Technical issues resolved, Joe and Adam cover the 2nd half of Godzilla Against Mechagodzilla. Utilizing shady ethics, Japan uses the bones of the original 1954 Godzilla to create the mighty Mechagodzilla. However, upon entering battle with the current Godzilla, things do not go according to plan!

After so much hype for the last movie, I'm surprised I haven't heard alot about this movie. That can either be a good thing or a bad thing. It's Mechagodzilla, so I still have high hope! Fingers crossed!

It's time for a duology of Mechagodzilla- er, Kiryu films, soaked in anime influence, 60s throwbacks, and some pretty good kaiju photography. In this back-to-back bout of three monsters, the winner is undeniably the mecha nerds. We hope you're happy. Guest Sophie Desmond is here to share high school tales of Ryan, gush about fairy babes, and become perhaps the most devoted Godzillavangelist acolyte yet. Meanwhile, Sam see-saws on his opinion and Ryan talks trailer downloads in the dialup days. Our next episode wraps up the Millennium series with that controversial blast of testosterone-fueled mayhem, Final Wars. Dust off your giant leather trenchcoat. And perhaps best showcased in this entry's movie, Godzilla Against MechaGodzilla from 2002. But is Tezuka's mark a positive on the franchise? Join us and special guest Nana Pratt to find out!
