Is This Your King? 4-13 by Emmanuel Baptist Church, San Jose, CA
Welcome to All Nations Aurora! In this powerful message titled "Is This Your King?" Pastor Talaat McNeely encourages us to avoid the trap of developing a messiah complex. As Christians, it's easy to fall into the mindset that we need to save others and be their saviors. But the truth is that Jesus is the only true Savior, and we are called to simply be a reflection of His goodness and love for others. In this timely message, Pastor Talaat challenges us to examine our hearts and motives as we seek to share the Gospel with those around us. He reminds us that offense can easily come when we try to take on the role of Savior instead of pointing people to the one true Savior, Jesus Christ. We invite you to watch this powerful message and be inspired to live a life that points others to Jesus. Let's be good examples of His love and grace, without trying to place ourselves as the Savior of others. Please share this message with others who may need to hear this important reminder. Thanks for tuning in, and God bless!-----Our vision at All Nations Aurora is simple: we want to help you Find Family, Discover Purpose, and Change the World. All Nations Aurora is led by Pastors Talaat & Tai McNeely and is based in Aurora, IL. Come join us Sundays at 10:30 am in-person at 1801 N. Eola Rd, Aurora, IL 60502. We hope to see you there!

On this episode, the fellas return to break down all things Robert Sarver investigation including Adam Silver press conference explaining the punishment. The glorious return of Austin Brezina means the OG crew is back in the saddle to talk about Cole Beasley leading the charge agaisnt COVID-19 vaccinations in the NFL and where the league goes from here after clarifying its penalties for teams who cause outbreaks. Then, Is This Your King breaks down into a holy mess centered around Dabo Swinney and Texas A&M.
Kalahnya Karrion Kross di RAW debutnya seolah menegaskan satu hal: Vince McMahon gives zero f*ck about NXT. Doi seakan pengen mempermaluin jawara brand menantunya dan berteriak: IS THIS YOUR KING?!
Julien Owens of the King Julien Podcast joins the gang for a second-straight week to talk about the battle between the students and the University of Texas over the Eyes of Texas fight song before talking about the NBA Finals on "Lighten the Fuck Up" and Space Jam 2 critics during Is This Your King? Then they end the show with a SERIOUSLY heated debate about Will Smith.
With Austin Brezina and Daniel Davidson out this week, D.R. and Terrell are joined by Julien Owens and Mariana Ovalle to discuss the details behind Rachel Nichols' racist remarks towards ESPN colleague Maria Taylor and the culture at ESPN which fostered them. Then Terrell goes on an extended rant against Stephen A. Smith during "Is This Your King" prompting Julien to declare it the greatest Is This Your King ever? And if you think that's fire, we're not even telling you about all the smoke Mariana brought with her in return to the pod. Don't miss out!
Tre Blanco subs in for Austin Brezina as the fellas discuss the fallout with the Portland Trailblazers hiring former Detroit Pistons star Chauncey Billups as head coach following the resurfacing of the rape allegations against him from 1997. They also briefly touch on Bill Cosby's release, and finally some long-overdue criticism of the Academy Awards and the Olympics during "Is This Your King?"
ft Julien Owens Minus Daniel Davidson and Austin Brezina, the guys discuss what right the fans and media have to professional athletes' time, energy and effort, the state of sports journalism, and NBA crowds getting out of control in the first round on multiple occasions. Then, they switch it up during "Is This Your King" on Kat Williams.
Have you ever wanted something that was not necessarily what God wanted for you? If so, then you understand what the children of Israel were feeling when they asked Samuel to give them a king — so they could be like the other nations. Are you trying to be like other nations, other people? Are you allowing anything to rule and reign alongside God? It's time for a loyalty check. “Is This Your King?!” - Rev. Eleanor L. ft Zip and J.R. We found an extra white man (Zip) and black man (J.R.) to talk about Kyrie Irving trying to end everyone's use of the N-word following being called the term by Los Angeles Lakers guard Dennis Schröder. Then we attack multiple people during Is This Your King before the show goes off the rails as D.R. debuts a new segment called "Lighten the Fuck Up." Editors note: Sorry for the late episode drop. It's hard to plan when family comes into town.
Major League Baseball listened to its Black players and coaches on Georgia's new restrictive voter laws but did they do so at the expense of the Black people in Atlanta to make a point its residents didn't ask them to make on their behalf? With Austin Brezina back in the fold, the fellas dive into the ramifications of the MLB moving its All-Star game from Atlanta to Denver. Then D.R. comes after Golden State Warriors forward Draymond Green's ill-advised comments on equal pay for women in sports during "Is This Your King?"
Without Austin Brezina for the second week in a row, the fellas dive back into the latest developments in the allegations of sexual assault against DeShaun Watson including his first press release since denying the allegations and another accusation not tied to the lawsuits appearing via Sports Illustrated. After that, Michael Rappoport and Kevin Durant both get the verbal hands during Is This Your King!?
New pod, new style takes on a different meaning as the fellas sans Auatin Brezina dive into the various aspects of the relationship between Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson and superstar singer Ciara with her ex-boyfriend, rapper Future including the hate Ciara receives for previously dating the rapper, Wilson's public persona and the differences between Wilson and Future. D.R. teases a special treat for next week and they also dive into Lil Nas X's new song and the controversy therein during "Is This Your King?"

SURPRISE. Bet you didn't see that one coming, last week *Quicksilver voice* Last week, we left you on an epic J&T Charters cliff hanger. Well this episode has it all as we truly finish off this season with a bang. No tricks this time. This is truly the final episode of season one. It features our second topic that was put on hold from last week, everyone flaming someone during "Is This Your King" and of course, Terrell's Second First Take. Come to find out who bought J&T Charters. Stay to hear us break down another important topic in sports.
Is This Your King?
Minus Terrell Huff -- D.R, Daniel and Austin talk about the Miami Marlins historic hire of Kim Ng as their general manager, the ramifications of the first general manager of Asian descent in the MLB and woman in sports, what took so long, and how the sports world can benefit as a whole for this landmark moment. Then, D.R. takes a shot at one of the pod's biggest punching bags during "Is This Your King?" Don't forget Terrell Huff's First Take.
Following a slightly slow week in sports, the gang without interruption from Austin Brezina this week talk about power couple Sue Bird and Megan Rapinoe's thoughts on the differing coverage between professional soccer and professional basketball despite similar accolades and social stances. Then, D.R. yells at the people who allowed Donald Trump's flunkies to stay in office following the 2020 election results during "Is This Your King?" Don't forget Terrell Huff's First Take.
Minus Austin Brezina who is out with a little bit of sickness (non-Covid related), the gang talks about Los Angeles Dodgers third baseman Justin Turner's decision to celebrate sans mask with his teammates following the Dodgers World Series-clinching win in game six versus the Tampa Bay Rays, despite Turner's COVID diagnosis. They discuss the in and outs of both Turner's individual and the MLB's failings before even asking the question -- how does this play out if Turner happened to be Black? Thespian Papi Terrell Huff bookends the show with his First Take and a scathing callout of Lil Wayne during "Is This Your King?" The fire is brought this episode. Put some ears on it!
Austin brings the fire and chaos for his return episode as the fellas talk about the decline in NBA ratings, Commissioner Adam Silver's response to them, and the right-wing's claim that they're tied to player protests and Black Lives Matter. Following that, Austin makes an impassioned plea to third-party voters during "Is This Your King?" Finally, an odd choice for an intro leads to one of the funnier outros in Week-Ended Take history when D.R. fumbles the closing. Don't forget Terrell Huff's First Take. Enjoy!
Back from a week off still without the services of Austin Brezina, the rest of the gang tackles the NFL (pun intended) as they continue to fail to adjust to a new world filled with COVID-19 (8:01). Then, they discuss the return of the Kyrie Irving-LeBron James feud as Daniel unloads on Irving during "Is This Your King?" (1:00:18). Don't forget Terrell Huff's First Take (4:17)
Minus one Austin Brezina, the fellas deep dive into the Los Angels Clippers playoff choke following their collapse up 3-1 in the series against the Denver Nuggets (7:31). Who's to blame -- Kawhi Leonard, Paul George, Doc Rivers, the supporting cast or all of the above. They break it every piece of the historic collapse down before D.R. eviscerates Senator Mitch McConnell during "Is This Your King?" (1:20:35). Finally, the briefly discuss Fox Sports basketball analyst/radio host Doug Gottlieb's misogynistic remarks regarding ESPN host/sideline reporter Maria Taylor's NBA awards ballot (1:27:06). Don't forget Terrell Huff's First Take (5:00).
This week's big picture topic focuses on the WNBA's Atlanta Dream vs one of the sitting U.S. senators from their home state of Georgia (10:22). They not so affectionately refer to her as "Senator Karen" for the majority of the episode. Following that topic, they reverse the segment a bit for "Is This Your King?" and celebrate actor Jon Cryer and even has a surprise bonus "Is This Your King?" (54:20) Don't forget Terrell's First Take (6:00).. Remember Black Lives Matter!
We've entered a brand new era of The Week-Ended Take. The two-pod era of the show has officially begun with episode 30. D.R. will explain what that means in the episode but to summarize -- shorter episodes for you. Speaking of episodes, on today's, the fellas break down the Milwaukee Bucks decision to protest/strike last week, which led to a larger protest throughout sports, in response to the tragic shooting of Jacob Blake and fallout therein (8:47). Following that. Austin takes the wheel to shred NFL legend Brian Urlacher for "Is This Your King?" (57:04) Never forget Terrell's First Take (5:36). Enjoy the new format and email us any questions/concerns at TheWeekEndedTake@yahoo.com.
ft. Mariana Ovalle It's an extremely super duper special welcome back episode of Is This Your King featuring everyone's favorite guest and Terrell Huff's favorite writer Mariana Ovalle. Speaking of Thespian Papi, he returns to the program as everyone involved delves into the conspiracy machinations of the internet's obsession with Wayfair and a never- corroborated trafficking scandal (5:14). After that, they discuss the "scandal" between August Alsina and Will and Jada Smith regarding a relationship years back when Jada and Will were in the middle of a separation. (51:37). It's not the normal film-centric format for the podcast but we delve into a different form of pop culture for the first time. The return is strong and full of hot takes. Put an ear or two to it.
In yet another episode of meaty, heavy discussions on the Week-Ended Take, the guys discuss the anti-Semitic post from Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver DeSean Jackson (4:02) along with the reaction from New England Patriots wide receiver Julian Edelman (35:38) and ex-NBA star Stephen Jackson (56:18) and finally ending that discussion with a comparison to former Eagles wide receiver Riley Cooper's similar saga (1:17:08). Following that, they speak on the NCAA's desperation to play football games in 2020 (1:33:15) before two separate topics during "Is This Your King." For the first, they come for the NFL (2:03:25) but what else is new and then they speak on the military culture of misogyny and the murder of Vanessa Guillen (2:15:50). If you support any -isms, you're gonna hate this show but hit play anyway. Also, they gave themselves literal pats on the backs this episode so.....
No fourth of July break for your favorite quartet with Tre Blanco (Edd White III) returning to fire up his grill. First, D.R. has a Charles Barkley-sized reckoning in the segment debut of "Come to Jesus" (4:25). Next, they tackle Cam Newton and Jameis Winston getting significantly undervalued during free agency based on the deals they ended up with (7:55), then transition to talking about the Washington professional football finally beginning the process of changing their racist name (1:04:20) before an even more sober than usual Is This Your King (1:35:39). And with Mr. Blanco in the building, D.R. takes some people to the grill himself (47:15). Plus a thousand Hamilton references abound. Enjoy.
ft Mariana Ovalle The NFL season may be over but the season produced one last controversy for the gang to tackle with a very special assist from friend-of-the-pod Mariana Ovalle. With the Super Bowl halftime show causing a stir, D.R, Daniel, Austin, and Terrell along with Mariana take a deep dive into what caused the reactions to Jennifer Lopez and Shakira's performance. Also, Daniel hosts for his first time and throws down his first "Is This Your King" while they also discuss the new pay standards in the WNBA and their importance to breaking down barriers.
It's an end of the decade extravaganza that just happens to be about a week and a half too late. But it's truly never too late to celebrate the decade that was the 2010's. So how did our troublesome trio send off the decade that was? They each made their own top-10 list of movies panned by critics and/or the general public that they love. It was a task so hard one of them failed miserably and had to redo their list on the fly. Shenanigans ensue. Ring in the new decade with the first episode of Is This Your King of this decade (ok the second episode sue us).
Oooooooweeeeeee do we have a jam-packed show for you this week on Is This Your King? Not only are the guys joined by not one but two special guests in Mariana Ovalle and Daniel Davidson to roll this episode's cast up to a whopping five-man booth but they're dissecting one of the most polarizing pieces of entertainment in the modern era of pop culture -- Star Wars Episode XIII: The Last Jedi. D.R. tries his best to host and play the background with Terrell but even he gets drawn into the battle. Surprise, surprise -- he can't stop talking. All in all, whatever side you're on in this debate; it's a worthy, fun listen in a galaxy far, far away. Also special shoutout to Austin for powering through sickness to battle alongside Mariana against Daniel.
In the ingrual (thanks Derek) edition of the Is This Your King sideshow podcast, Austin takes on the gargantuan task of defending the Will Smith classic Bright? You're in for a doozy. Derek has some mad hate in store for this movie including a rant about dragons. Enjoy *chef's kiss*
