Happy New Year Listeners! I know we're a whole month behind but we made it through the holidays and what's more is the holidays (Thanksgiving) provided an opportunity for your host to meet IRL a friend that up until then, had only been remote relationship. Linette Ramos de Soto has been a friend for around 5 years and some change. We finally met and got to experience each other in the flesh. I was welcomed into Linette's family. When consulted last week by a childhood buddy of mine, I was chosen as acting consigliere for his line of inquiry concerning the beginnings of a record collection and turntable area for his home. My response was to show him my setup on FaceTime and proceed to flip through examples that would pull the heart strings. The Mike Jones clean album sampler, Paul Wall People's Champ, Dem Franchise Boys promo album. Things of this nature. Which looking back now, I really wish I featured those and some others on this installment. I did manage to find Chamillionaire's album for $20 recently, worth a lot more on online, and it sounds great. I might just have to blast a 2000's Hip Hop eppy for next install. This buddy of mine that called isn't just anybody. He is the most reliable point guard that I ever played organized basketball with and he is the person that showed me BTSTU by Jai Paul for the first time while playing Halo 3 at my first apartment when I was 18. Super sick inside baseball. Yoshinobu Yamamocheese. I am a middle aged man that went to a Pokemon card show TWO times in one weekend. My love life is in complete shambles and boring me to tears. I did manage to flip $80 into a $600 collection in two days so oooooweeeeee I'm on fire and we don't need no wata. I may bust out an episode next week or I may slow roll it and go into a cocoon until the spring. Who knows and who gives a flying rip besides Keisha. That Scarface '83 Promo cost $100 that could've gone to my Pokemon collection so I hope somebody enjoyed it. It was cold when I bought the album, I got home, put it on and I smiled so hard that my lips split really bad and cracked in multiple places. So what. It was a common theme, throughout this entire time between Swasthik Iyengar and me, that it's very hard to keep things simple. Simplicity often gets misappropriated with ease or easy, but this couldn't be further from the truth  Hat's off to Swazzy however, for she's managed the task of changing continents, within her journey, thus far. Well, we certainly can talk! It's probably because Ken Madden and I don't see each other often, that we are bursting by the time we finally get together? I pray we don't wait so long next time.   However, in this 3 part Diary Entry, there was a reoccurring theme of God and the gifts we are given to express God's love in this life. Early today (12:20am), this Diary Entry was recorded. It's been a full week and full day. This is just another personal share, but within the week and upon declaring more personal entries, there's been many beautiful people who've offered to record and share their stories. It's like God telling me that this show must be more than just a relationship between me and him... It must expand and continue to gather.  What glorious things to look forward to ahead! In early Jamuary, the United States Fish and Wildlife Service issued a proposed rule that denied Montana and Wyoming's petition to delist grizzly bears in the Northern Continental Divide and Greater Yellowstone Ecosystems. The reasons behind the decision are complicated. Dave and Nephi explain what happened, and what the decision could mean for grizzlies going forward.

This is something a bit new. I'm (Amy) amazed how long I was able to speak and how much more I could have concerning the happenings this week. This is my first attempt to chronicle how God moves and speaks, in my life. I'm leaning into this being both a Diary and a work dedicated to the glory of God. This was pure and mostly freeform. As I admit, it's not concise, but if nothing else, I pray it will be entertaining. Above all, I want to share my life as a perspective and my walk with God as an invitation to others to explore with me. Worse case, I'm in the world and not of the world... In this last third of his Diary Entry, we talk about wisdom with Kevin Kline of Tattoo Icons (Perryville, MD); How important wisdom is and all the different ways to acquire wisdom (the funny and stupid ways).
