On August 4, 1892, Andrew and Abby Borden were viciously murdered in broad daylight in their home in Fall River, Massachusetts. Their daughter Lizzie was accused of the ax murders and brought to trial. After three weeks, the jury deliberated for just two hours before announcing their verdict – not guilty.
