This week, hosts Jim DeRogatis and Greg Kot pay tribute to the late Cynthia Weil, one half of the songwriting duo Mann & Weil, famous for writing tracks like “We Gotta Get Out of This Place” and “You've Lost that Lovin' Feeling.” Jim and Greg revisit their 2011 conversation. The hosts also talk to Ryan Tedder of One Republic about writing songs for himself, Beyoncé, Adele and more. Plus, a review of the new album from rapper Killer Mike. Part 2 of the 9th season finale is here! I'm concluding this season with house remixes of top charting songs. Picking up from where the episode 9 left off, the BPM begins at 125 and slowly increases to a dubby 160 BPM. Starting off with my favorite cover of "Hotline Bling" by Disclosure f./ Sam Smith and bringing in the revivals, such as Aretha Franklin's "Deeper Love" and "Sugar" by Robin Schulz. The episode ends at an unusual spot for me, since I'm not well versed in dubstep. Also, this is the first time I've ever had Zac Brown in my seasons of Club Soda, which is pretty awesome. I'd like to thank all of my fans for spending their time with me on this wonderful journey so far this year. It's been a great 6 months in finishing this season of Club Soda 9: Spada. I will be back next season and it will be another unforgettable season. Please continue following me on iTunes, Facebook, and PodOMatic for the latest updates! "Hotline Bling" by Disclosure f./ Sam Smith "Love Runs Out" by One Republic "Pray To God" by Calvin Harris f./ HAIM "Rather Be" by Clean Bandit f./ Jess Glynne "Deeper Love" by Aretha Franklin "How Deep Is Your Love" by Calvin Harris and Disciples "Sugar" by Robin Schulz f./ Francesco Yates "Street Player On My Mind" by Ellie Goulding f./ Chicago "Powerful (Michael Calfan Remix)" by Major Lazer f./ Ellie Goulding "Ocean Drive (Michael Calfan Remix)" by Duke Dumont f./ Boy Matthews "Broken Arrows (M-22 Remix)" by Avicii f./ Zac Brown "All Of Me" by John Legend "Be Right There" by Diplo and Sleepy Tom f./ Priscilla Renea "Falling Away" by Seven Lions f./ Lights "Never Forget You" by Zara Larsson & MNEK "To Ü" by Skrillex And Diplo f./ AlunaGeorge
I'm very excited to present my latest deep house podcast – Deep Spring House, Part 1. I think for most DJs, sticking to just one sound can get a bit boring. For me, deep house is what I listen to when I'm not in a club… when I need to think on long car rides… when I'm sitting around a friend's pool on a lazy weekend afternoon. Deep house has increasingly become my passion project and I've been working on this latest set for quite a while… in-between other gigs and projects. The BPM on this one varies from 120 – 124 in sections, but it never gets above. It's a full two hours long and I have a Part 2 almost ready to record that's equally as long – there's just too much great deep house out there not to share it! Please share this podcast on social media if you enjoy it. I'd love to be able to play this sound out live more in the future! Ralphie on Twitter: twitter.com/ralphieaversa "Ralphie Tonight" covered red carpet arrivals at the world premiere for "The Giver," starring Jeff Bridges. OneRepublic penned "Ordinary Human" for the film, and lead singer Ryan Tedder shared a quick word with us outside of the Ziegfeld Theater. We later ran in to Ryan at the after party; of course as the DJ was spinning "Love Runs Out."
Starting this set with the old PVN style - vocal commercial house and some progressive, along with the new Big Room house. TOP 3 tracks for this episode are: 1. Shadow Of The Sun (Mako Remix) 2. Lovers On The Sun Feat. Sam Martin (Stadiumx Remix) 3. OneRepublic - Love Runs Out (Marcus Schossow Remix) Let me know if you like it! Till next time... PLAY IT OUT LOUD.
I love music and i listen to all different genre. Some time i download songs that i never really get a chance to play in a party. So why not just put it in a mix. When i'm riding in my car i tend to have these songs on blast. lol. Screw you and don't judge me. lol. This mix is one that you can play for your kids and have them sing along instead of that nastiness that they be playing on these urban stations. I hope you all enjoy. 1.La La La by Naughty Boy ft Sam Smith 2.Story Of My Life (Acap) by One Direction 3.I Will Never Let You Down by Rita Ora 4.UV Love (Clean) by Clinton Sparks ft.
