"Club Soda" a long running show from 2009, presented by DJ Chef Nguyen is back to celebrate it's 10th season. Originating from 3 seasons on the radio and currently via podcast since season 4, Chef Nguyen goes all out to deliver the best mixes of Top 40 hits as well as EDM. For the 10th series, previ…
Back in 2010, notable artists were on the rise, such as Lady Gaga, Katy Perry and Rihanna, while David Guetta found a way to creep up the Billboard charts by featuring vocal artists. In this episode, I'll be serving a fresh mix of tracks strictly from Club Soda -Season 5- at a flat tempo of 132 BPM. The content and mixing technique was an improvement from the previous seasons when I started podcasting. I hope you all enjoy this for the summer! In this episode, we will take a trip back to 2009, which was when Club Soda: Season 4 premiered as a podcast. Drifting away from the 2-hour radio format in seasons 1 through 3, each episode in season 4 was a continuous mix. I've selected a handful of tracks I felt truly defined me during that season. Essentially each episode became a mixtape, yet no solid foundation of what I was. Many seasons down the road, improvements were made, and I've returned to season 4 to redeem myself. This episode is mixture of EDM (which wasn't really known as EDM at the time) and Top 40 remixes. "Insomnia (Monster Mix) (Chef's Edit)" by Faithless "I Remember (Chef's Edit)" by deadmau5 & Kaskade "Infinity 2008 (Chef's Quick Edit)" by Guru Josh Project "Let It Go (Axwell Remix)" by Dirty South f./ Rudy "When Love Takes Over (Norman Doray and Arno Cost Mix)" by David Guetta f./ Kelly Rowland "Give It 2 Me (Eddie Amador Houselover Remix)" by Madonna "SexyBack (Dean Coleman Silent Sound Beatdown)" by Justin Timberlake "Bills, Bills, Bills (Digital Black-N-Groove Mix)" by Destiny's Child "Waiting For Tonight (Toy Armada Pride Mix)" by Jennifer Lopez "Love At First Sight (Wayne G's Summer In Vauxhall Mix)" by Kylie Minogue "Touch Me (Extended Mix) (Chef's Edit)" by Tom Novy & Jerry Ropero f./ Abigail Bailey

Listener discretion is advised - the following podcast may contain language that the listener may find inappropriate. From the archives, this is part 1 of the season finale from Club Soda 8: Tricoro. In this episode, I wanted to start at a low tempo and gradually increase to where my house or EDM tempos would start, which is picked up in the next episode. You'll find plenty of older hip hop and pop tracks from a few years back. "On My Mind" by Ellie Goulding "Bitch I'm Madonna" by Madonna f./ Nicki Minaj "Where Are Ü Now" by Skrillex and Diplo f./ Justin Bieber "Uma Thurman" by Fall Out Boy "Shake It Off" by Taylor Swift "Magnets" by Disclosure f./ Lorde "Lean On" by Major Lazer & DJ Snake f./ MØ "Worth It" by Fifth Harmony "Talk Dirty" by Jason Derülo f./ 2 Chainz "Stupid Hoe" by Nicki Minaj "Roses" by The Chainsmokers f./ ROZES "Pretty Girls" by Britney Spears f./ Iggy Azalea "Bitch Better Have My Money" by Rihanna "Can't Feel My Face" by The Weeknd "Wasted" by Tiësto f./ Matthew Koma "Fun (DJ Chef's Edit)" by Pitbull f./ Chris Brown
From the archives, this is an episode from Club Soda 8: Tricoro. Here in the Yellow Phase, EDM and house tracks are covered. This episode was inspired by a Kansas City's VDJ duo Synematix. Based on my observations and meeting with them back in Winter 2015, I decided to create this mix in my own style. It's been awhile since a new episode was released so here it is. This is a lengthy 2 hour nonstop mix, making it perfect for your New Years party! The beginning will be a little rocky, flipping back and forth between 70-75 BPM and 140-150 BPM. It's an interesting way to see how doubling tempo works. The max BPM at the end of the mix will be 128, however almost all of the songs in this mixshow are slightly faster than their original. Have a wonderful new year and I'll be back in 2017! "Where Are Ü Now" by Skrillex & Diplo f./ Justin Bieber "Everytime We Touch" by Cascada "Never Forget You" by Zara Larsson & MNEK "Listen To Your Heart (Furious F. A fantastic megamix runs at a constant 130 BPM, even though it is slightly slower than my ideal club mixing speed. This episode is heavily based on subgenres UK garage, Detroit, and tribal house using club and mainstream remixes. "Pray To God (Calvin Harris vs. Mike Pickering Hacienda Remix)" by Calvin Harris f./ HAIM "Never Say Never (Mark Knight Remix)" by Basement Jaxx f./ ETML "Won't Look Back" by Duke Dumont f./ Yolanda Quartey "Too Cool To Dance (Wayne G Remix)" by Eden XO "Bang Bang (Jad Desenchanntee vs. Wayne G Remix)" by Jessie J, Ariana Grande, and Nicki Minaj "Hustlin' (Slideback vs. Dave Aude Vocal Remix)" by Vassy, Crazibiza, and Dave Aude "Toxic (Division 4 Remix)" by Britney Spears "Big Fun" by D.O.N.S. and Terri B! This nonstop episode is entirely based on mainstream hits you've heard on the radio in 2014, starting at 69.5 BPM and gradually increasing to 125 BPM over the course of 60 minutes. This mix is designed for those who enjoy songs in their original forms. Some older songs from previous seasons have been revived, such as KE$HA's "Tik Tok" and Katy Perry's "California Gurls". "Lips Are Movin'" by Meghan Trainor "Masterpiece" by Jessie J "Tennis Court" by Lorde "Chandelier" by Sia "Boom Clap" by Charli XCX "Fancy" by Iggy Azalea f./ Charli XCX "Jealous" by Nick Jonas "Style" by Taylor Swift "L.A. A sequel to the previous episode is released to you all and this is probably one of my favorite mixes I've done so far. This episode contains new songs for the summer 2013 as well as hits from a several years ago. A variety of artists can be heard from Katy Perry to Yoko Ono! The tempo has been standardized to 132BPM.
Within this episode, various songs (and their respective remixes) were included in this hour-long mix. This mix contains top 40 remixes as well as EDM (Electronic Dance Music), so it's a well-rounded episode. I've personally stated before that it is impossible to solely define my DJ style with one podcast. In the 8th season, you should expect a variety of styles that I can handle and it has been demonstrated thus far via episodes 8-1 thru 8-5. "Drunk In Love (CJay Swayne All Night Club Mix)" by Beyonce f./ Jay Z "Replay (Ralphi Rosario Club Mix) (Chef's Edit)" by Zendaya "Neon Lights (Mike Cruz Remix)" by Demi Lovato "Mmm Yeah" by Austin Mahone f./ Pitbull "Talk Dirty (TAITO Bootleg) (Chef's Edit)" by Jason Derulo f./ 2 Chainz "Dark Horse (Goldhouse Club Mix) (Chef's Edit)" by Katy Perry "Burn (Toy Armada & DJ GRIND Flaming Anthem Mix)" by Ellie Goulding "G.U.Y. (Nylson Wash Mix)" by Lady GaGa "Animals" by Martin Garrix "#SELFIE" by The Chainsmokers "Let's Get Ridiculous" by Red Foo "Shot Me Down" by David Guetta f./ Skylar Grey "Timber" by Pitbull f./ Ke$ha
Back on December 3rd, 2013, I've had requests from fans wanting to hear a mix from Thanksgiving Eve, but in it's mastered form. I was able to replicate that mix at home, with some minor adjustments. The reason I'm naming this "Crock Pot Throwback" is because the tempo is much slower than all of my other mixes (including Ep. 7-7A) and it contains a lot of songs from up to 20 years ago. I still maintain current hits in here, such as Roar, Blurred Lines, and Royals, and all songs are in their original or extended forms. I started the this episode at 85 BPM and I gradually increase up to 125 BPM. Also, this podcast is slightly longer than expected at 90 minutes. "We Can't Stop" by Miley Cyrus "Royals" by Lorde "Umbrella" by Rihanna f./ JAY-Z "Roar" by Katy Perry "No Scrubs" by TLC "Thrift Shop" by Macklemore and Ryan Lewis f./ Wanz "Mambo No. 5" by Lou Bega "Single Ladies" by Beyoncé "The Sign" by Ace of Base "Fly (Chef's Edit)" by Sugar Ray "As Long As You Love Me" by Backstreet Boys "Dirrty" by Christina Aguilera f./ Redman "This Is How We Do It (Chef's Edit)" by Montell Jordan "(You Drive Me) Crazy" by Britney Spears "Hollaback Girl (Chef's Edit)" by Gwen Stefani "1, 2 Step" by Ciara f./ Missy Elliot "Feedback" by Janet Jackson "Sexyback" by Justin Timberlake "The Way I Are" by Timbaland f./ Keri Hilson, D.O.E. & Sebastian "When I Grow Up" by The Pussycat Dolls "Blurred Lines" by Robin Thicke f./ T.I. and Pharrell Williams "Just Dance" by Lady Gaga f./ Colby O'Donis "Pop" by 'N Sync "My Humps" by The Black Eyed Peas "Lose Control" by Missy Elliott f./ Ciara and Fatman Scoop
Episode 8-3 is another mainstream Top 40 episode featuring new songs at the time, such as "Work Bitch" by Britney Spears and "Applause" by Lady GaGa. Another cross is made between OLD and NEW with certain songs, which should be familiar to all of you! "Sexy People (The Fiat Song)" by Arianna f./ Pitbull "Exotic (Cahill Remix)" by Priyanka Chopra f./ Pitbull "Buttons (Dave Aude Button Fly Club Mix)" by The Pussycat Dolls "Wrecking Ball (Craig Welsh 'Wreck Me' Mix)" by Miley Cyrus "Roar (Craig Welsh Pop Bootleg)" by Katy Perry "Can't Believe It (Craig Welsh Pop Bootleg)" by Flo-Rida f./ Pitbull "Got To Give It Up (Chef Nguyen's OLD x NEW Crossover)" by Marvin Gaye "Blurred Lines (Chef Nguyen's NEW x OLD Crossover)" by Robin Thicke f./ T.I. and Pharrell "Turn The Night Up" by Enrique Iglesias "Applause (Extended)" by Lady GaGa "Woman's World" by Cher "Work Bitch (DJ Kill Juice Is Good Mix)" by Britney Spears "Wake Me Up!" by Avicii f./ Aloe Blacc "Burn (Funk3D Radio Edit)" by Ellie Goulding "Slow Down (Jason Nevins Radio Edit)" by Selena Gomez
The other half of episode 2, also consisting of high energy sounds that will blow you away! "World In Our Hands (DJ Scene Daydream Edit)" by Quintino and Alvaro "Alive (Hardwell Remix)" by Krewella "Thrift Shop (Aitor Galan Remix)" by Macklemore and Ryan Lewis f./ Wanz "Danza Kuduro (Anthem Kingz Remix)" by Don Omar f./ Lucenzo "Hot Hot Hot" by Vengaboys "Slow Down Or Jump Around" by Showtek vs. House Of Pain "Harlem Shake (Aitor Galan Remix)" by Baauer "Million Voices To Apologize (Thomas Gold Mashup)" by Otto Knows vs. One Republic
A 30 minute nonstop mix of high energy electro house set. This is one of two sets inspired by DJ Mitch Marku, a Club DJ I met in St. Louis, MO. He delivered a set that I never thought would be so successful in a club setting. So now I take that sound and serve it to my audience! "I Could Be The Bass (3LAU Bootleg)" by Synchronice, Avicii & Nicky Romero "Live It Up (Gregor Salto Club Mix)" by Jennifer Lopez "Goodies (Borgeous Remix)" by Ciara "Glowing (Fedde Le Grand Remix)" by Nikki Williams "Still Into You (Riddler Remix)" by Paramore "Aura" by Lady GaGa "Crazy Kids (DJ Tuck Fiyacracka Bootleg)" by KE$HA "I Need Your Love (Jacob Plant Remix)" by Calvin Harris f./ Ellie Goulding "Let's Have A Booty Drop Kiki (DJ Chef Nguyen's Mash)" by TAI & Diplo vs. Scissor Sisters
On August 4th, 2013, the season premiere of Club Soda 8: Tricoro became available. It starts off with the MB countdown mix, which recaps some of the wonderful songs that came out in 2012. Due to much feedback regarding the old format of putting in album covers for navigation, I've brought them back. While you're listening to each continuous episode, the album cover will change according to the song. I hope you enjoy this, and please spread the word!!! "2013 Countdown" by Masterbeat "Live It Up" by Jennifer Lopez f./ Pitbull "Blurred Lines (Liam Keegan & Anton Powers Remix)" by Robin Thicke f./ Pharrell Williams & T.I. This episode is dedicated to the 3rd season, which was the final season to be aired on the radio. 7 years ago, a trio of songs were transitioned back-to-back, followed by PSAs and promos from the radio station. It was a two hour show from 8-10PM on Friday nights, a primetime slot for easy access to club music for house parties to call and request. This mix mostly focuses on top-charting tracks played on the radio from 1999-2009, a 10-year overview. "Lose My Breath" by Destiny's Child "Don't Cha" by The Pussycat Dolls f./ Busta Rhymes "My Humps" by The Black Eyed Peas "We Like To Party (Original Extended)" by Vengaboys "S.O.S." by Rihanna "Rhythm Is a Dancer 2003 (CJ Stone Club Mix)" by Snap! "Took The Night" by Chelley "I Know You Want Me (Calle Ocho)" by Pitbull "Show Me Love" by Steve Angello and Laidback Luke featuring Robin S. "Hollaback Girl" by Gwen Stefani "1, 2 Step" by Ciara f./ Missy Elliot "Milkshake" by Kelis "She Wolf" by Shakira "Sweet Dreams" by Beyonce "Fire Burning" by Sean Kingston "DJ Got Us Fallin' In Love" by Usher f./ Pitbull "Dynamite" by Taio Cruz "Like A G6" by Far East Movement f./ The Cataracs and Dev
Seasons 1 and 2 are consolidated in this episode to observe the birth and progression of this special program. When "Club Soda" first aired on the KJHK 90.7FM, there wasn't much continuous mixing applied. As a radio DJ, I had not discovered within myself to mix songs in a club style until later on. 10 years later, a retro set was crafted to take a look at history in a nonstop mix. A short 30 minutes full of glorious club classics from the 70s and 80s come together to provide a groove that will set you on a stroll down through memory lane. It just seems like the newer generation of music listeners do not recognize the significance of music from those decades anymore. Although it's a short episode, this won't be the last time you'll hear of this. Kicking off with a powerful anthem from Gloria Gaynor to meeting up with Barry Manilow at "Copacabana", we will start at a steady tempo and gradually increase as the mix moves forward. "I Will Survive" by Gloria Gaynor "Copacabana" by Barry Manilow "September" by Earth, Wind & Fire "Girls Just Wanna Have Fun" by Cyndi Lauper "Hot Stuff" by Donna Summer "Shake Your Body (Down To The Ground)" by The Jacksons "Let's Groove" by Earth, Wind & Fire "Superfreak" by Rick James "Disco Inferno" by The Trammps "You're the First, the Last, My Everything" by Barry White "So Many Men, So Little Time" by Miquel Brown "It's Raining Men" by The Weather Girls "Beat It" by Michael Jackson
DJ Chef Nguyen returns to present "Club Soda 10: Pendual", celebrating 10 seasons of the numerous radio broadcasts and mixshow podcasts. To observe such success for the last 10 years, this episode features 1 selected track from each season and mixed in chronological order. However as a tradition that started in season 5, a recap of the previous season's hits (mixed or missed) is very much needed; a crossover of songs from 2015 - 2016. The theme of this season is "Time comes and goes", leading to the title Pendual. I will discuss more about the format of this title in the next episode. Here is your tracklist for episode 1 of Club Soda 10: Pendual. "2016 Countdown" by Masterbeat "It's My Life (Dave Aude Remix)" by No Doubt (from CS) "Let Me Think About It (Chef Nguyen's Edit)" by Ida Corr vs. Fedde le Grand (from CS2) "Who The Hell Are You (Illicit Remix)" by Madison Avenue (from CS3) "Happiness" by Alexis Jordan (from CS4) "When Love Takes Over" by David Guetta f./ Kelly Rowland (from CS5) "Love You Like A Stereo Love Song (Chef Nguyen's Edit)" by Edward Maya and Vika Jigulina vs. Selena Gomez (from CS6) "Dark Side (Gustavo Scorpio Remix)" by Kelly Clarkson (from CS7: Resort Anthem) "Something Better (Alyson Calagna & Chef Nguyen Edit)" by Audien f./ Lady Antebellum (from CS8: Tricoro) "Rolling In the Deep (Rosario & Cappo House Mix)" by Aretha Franklin (missed in CS9: Spada) "I'm Every Woman / Respect (Eric Kupper Club Mix) by Aretha Franklin (from CS9: Spada) "Took The Night vs. Gonna Make You Sweat" by Chelley vs. C+C Music Factory (debut CS10)
I’m presenting you a special nonstop mix I’d like to dedicate to Barry Harris, one of my favorite DJs. He’s a well-known DJ who created many remixes at least 15 years ago under the name Thunderpuss. He’s created remixes for big-hit artists, such as Britney Spears, Christina Aguilera, Spice Girls, and even Madonna. Currently he’s been solo, creating remixes for more current artists, which is where I come to compile a selection of his works into this mix. I will guarantee that all of these songs that he’s worked on will NOT disappoint you! I hope you all enjoy this, especially one of my idols, Barry Harris. “Hello (We Could’ve Had It All) (Barry Harris Remix)” by Adele “Booty (Barry Harris & Division 4 Remix)” by Jennifer Lopez f./ Iggy Azalea “What Makes Your Heartbeat Faster (Defibrillator Remix)” by Barry Harris “High Off My Love (Barry Harris Tropical Club Mix)” by Paris Hilton “How Deep Is Your Love (Barry Harris Remix)” by Calvin Harris & Disciples “Stranger In My House (Barry Harris 2k14 Remix)” by Tamia “Vogue (Barry Harris Rebel Heart Remix)” by Madonna “Dive In The Pool (f./ Pepper Mashay)” by Barry Harris “Total Eclipse Of The Heart (Barry Harris Extra Drama 2k15 Tribal Anthem Remix)” by Bonnie Tyler “Hideaway (Barry Harris Remix)” by Kiesza “What Do You Mean (Barry Harris Remix)” by Justin Bieber
Part 2 of the 9th season finale is here! I'm concluding this season with house remixes of top charting songs. Picking up from where the episode 9 left off, the BPM begins at 125 and slowly increases to a dubby 160 BPM. Starting off with my favorite cover of "Hotline Bling" by Disclosure f./ Sam Smith and bringing in the revivals, such as Aretha Franklin's "Deeper Love" and "Sugar" by Robin Schulz. The episode ends at an unusual spot for me, since I'm not well versed in dubstep. Also, this is the first time I've ever had Zac Brown in my seasons of Club Soda, which is pretty awesome. I'd like to thank all of my fans for spending their time with me on this wonderful journey so far this year. It's been a great 6 months in finishing this season of Club Soda 9: Spada. I will be back next season and it will be another unforgettable season. Please continue following me on iTunes, Facebook, and PodOMatic for the latest updates! "Hotline Bling" by Disclosure f./ Sam Smith "Love Runs Out" by One Republic "Pray To God" by Calvin Harris f./ HAIM "Rather Be" by Clean Bandit f./ Jess Glynne "Deeper Love" by Aretha Franklin "How Deep Is Your Love" by Calvin Harris and Disciples "Sugar" by Robin Schulz f./ Francesco Yates "Street Player On My Mind" by Ellie Goulding f./ Chicago "Powerful (Michael Calfan Remix)" by Major Lazer f./ Ellie Goulding "Ocean Drive (Michael Calfan Remix)" by Duke Dumont f./ Boy Matthews "Broken Arrows (M-22 Remix)" by Avicii f./ Zac Brown "All Of Me" by John Legend "Be Right There" by Diplo and Sleepy Tom f./ Priscilla Renea "Falling Away" by Seven Lions f./ Lights "Never Forget You" by Zara Larsson & MNEK "To Ü" by Skrillex And Diplo f./ AlunaGeorge
This is episode is part 1 of the finale this season of Club Soda, featuring the slower Mainstream songs. Starting with a steady 95 BPM, the mix gradually progresses to end with 120 BPM. There are some revival songs from the previous seasons, such as "Fancy" by Iggy Azalea and "Ghost" by Ella Henderson. The format is the same as my club DJing style at the club when I'm in need of building my crowd up. I hope you all enjoy the first half of this finale; I had a great time mixing all of these songs together! "Renegade" by X Ambassadors "Hide Away" by Daya "Work" by Rihanna f./ Drake "No" by Meghan Trainor "Out Of The Woods" by Taylor Swift "Fancy" by Iggy Azalea f./ Charlie XCX "Lean On" by Major Lazer & DJ Snake f./ MØ "Ghost" by Ella Henderson "Pretty Girls" by Britney Spears and Iggy Azalea "Work From Home" by Fifth Harmony "Middle" by DJ Snake f./ Bipolar Sunshine "Bang My Head" by David Guetta f./ Sia and Fetty Wap "Get Ugly" by Jason Derulo "Hands To Myself" by Selena Gomez "Uptown Funk" by Mark Ronson f./ Bruno Mars "Cake By The Ocean" by DNCE
There were some songs that were missed in the previous seasons that I forgot to cover and I figured now is the time to pick them up and throw them into this mix. These songs are mixed in with songs used in other episodes, so it adds a bit of variety to maintain freshness, and make you say "Oh Mylanta!". This episode starts with a slow hip-hop mix in the first half, but gradually increases, which is a signature club DJing style I work with. The second half is slightly faster, but the tempo settles around the 120s. One question I've gotten a lot was "Why do I include the song "Roses" so much in my episodes?" My mom passed away 3 years ago and her name translated from Vietnamese to English is Rose. I will always be thinking about her, and I will apologize ahead for drilling the song in your heads! "Stressed Out" by Twenty One Pilots "Hello" by Adele "Where My Girls At" by 702 "My House" by Flo Rida "Hide Away" by Daya "What's Luv" by Fat Joe f./ Ashanti "Sorry" by Justin Bieber "Roses" by Chainsmokers f./ Rozes "Mo Money Mo Problems" by The Notorious B.I.G. f./ Puff Daddy and Mase "Somebody" by Natalie La Rose f./ Jeremih "Something In The Way You Move" by Ellie Goulding "Wannabe" by Spice Girls "Stay The Night" by Zedd f./ Hayley Williams "Downtown" by Macklemore & Ryan Lewis "Cheerleader" by OMI "Wildest Dreams" by Taylor Swift "Time Of Our Lives" by Pitbull f./ Ne-Yo "Roses (Remix)" by Chainsmokers f./ Rozes "Blurred Lines" by Robin Thicke featuring T.I. and Pharrell "Photograph" by Ed Sheeran "Shower" by Becky G "Wild Wild Love" by Pitbull f./ G.R.L.
Barry Harris is back with another set of remixes, and I’ve taken them in my hands, mixed them up to create this fabulous episode that you’re gonna love. This episode contains two powerful tracks, “Let The Joy Rise” by Abigail and “Rise Up” by Andra Day, and then dives directly into Top 40 Mainstream hits with new Rihanna, Kesha, Drake, and much more. Barry’s remixes for this nonstop journey can be classified as circuit tribal and house, leaving your body and mind wanting more to groove to. His skills in crafting these remixes are to cater to the crowd of today through slowing down the tempo within his tracks, and then bringing it back up to remixed tempo of origin. However, I’ve thrown my twist in there by starting off with classic Thunderpuss, as well as standardizing the BPM to a speeding 133. “Let The Joy Rise (Thunderpuss 2000 Club Mix)” by Abigail “Rise Up (Barry Harris Club Mix)” by Andra Day “This Is What You Came For (Barry Harris Mix)” by Calvin Harris f./ Rihanna “Can’t Stop The Feeling (Barry Harris Club Mix)” by Justin Timberlake “True Colors (Barry Harris Club Mix)” by Zedd f./ Kesha “Dangerous Woman (Barry Harris Remix)” by Ariana Grande “Company (Barry Harris Remix)” by Justin Bieber “Formation (Barry Harris Remix)” by Beyonce “No (Barry Harris Remix)” by Meghan Trainor “Work (Barry Harris Club Mix)” by Rihanna f./ Drake “One Dance (Barry Harris Club Mix)” by Drake f./ Wizkid and Kyla “Let The Joy Rise (Barry Harris Remix)” by Abigail f./ DJ Toy Armada & DJ Grind
I’ve crafted this episode to start at an easy tempo with “Cool For The Summer” by Demi Lovato, and as you progress through this mix, the tempo will increase gradually after every song. There is an exception with “I Took A Pill in Ibiza”, where I cock the tempo back once more. This episode is implicitly split into two phases: the 1st half filled with mainstream top 40 hits and the 2nd half stuffed with EDM tracks. Most songs are cut in half to include as much as I can, however not like a previous episode, 9-3: Party Platter. I hope you all enjoy this wonderful 1-hour long journey. “Cool For The Summer” by Demi Lovato “Ain’t Nobody (Loves Me Better)” by Felix Jaehn f./ Jasmine Thompson “I Took A Pill In Ibiza (Seeb Remix)” by Mike Posner “The Girl Is Mine” by 99 Souls f./ Destiny's Child and Brandy “How Deep Is Your Love” by Calvin Harris & Disciples “You Know You Like It (Tchami Remix)” by DJ Snake & AlunaGeorge “Love Myself” by Hailee Steinfeld “Sugar” by Robin Schulz f./ Francesco Yates “Hold My Hand” by Jess Glynne “Where Are Ü Now (Alex Preston Bootleg)” by Jack Ü with Justin Bieber “Powerful (Michael Calfan Remix)” by Major Lazer f./ Ellie Goulding & Tarrus Riley “Something Better” by Audien f./ Lady Antebellum “Sweet Escape” by Alesso f./ SIRENA “Secrets” by Tiësto & KSHMR f./ Vassy “Disarm You” by Kaskade f./ Ilsey Juber “Break Through The Silence” by Martin Garrix vs Matisse & Sadko “Open Heart” by Morgan Page f./ Lissie “Untouchable” by Tritonal “I Want You To Know” by Zedd f./ Selena Gomez “Peanut Butter Jelly (GTA Remix)” by Galantis “Zero Gravity” by Borgeous f./ Lights “Sun Is Shining” by Axwell Λ Ingrosso “For A Better Day” by Avicii f./ Alex Ebert “Diamonds” by Giorgio Moroder f./ Charli XCX
Here’s another episode to mark the halfway point of this season. In this episode, you will hear newer songs as well as older. Hard-hitting tracks are abundant in this hour, making this mix the roughest in Club Soda history. It can be compared to Episodes 6-10: Season Finale, 8-2A: Sector A, and 8-2B: Sector B. There are some songs that are Top 40, but remixed in this style, such as “Can’t Feel My Face” and “Latch”. There are also older songs mixed in too, like “Sweet Dreams” by La Bouche and “All I Wanna Do” by Sheryl Crow. Revivals are spotted here too (from Season 1, 2, and 6), which is actually something I’m hinting towards the future of the Club Soda podcast series. I hope you all enjoy this rigid, edgy episode! “Bounce (Extended Mix)” by Calvin Harris f./ Kelis “Bounce (Extended Mix)” by Iggy Azalea “On The Floor (Marc & Svejda Club Mix)” by Jennifer Lopez f./ Pitbull “Someone Who Can Dance” by Icona Pop “Can’t Feel My Face (Bounce Bootleg)” by The Weeknd “This Summer’s Gonna Hurt Like A... (Bounce Hype Edit)” by Maroon 5 “How Ya Feelin’” by TJR “Summer Freaks” by Calvin Harris vs Timmy Trumpet “Livin’ On A Prayer (Bounce Bootleg)” by Bon Jovi “Off The Hook (Extended Mix)” by Hardwell & Armin van Buuren “Latch C.U.B.A.” by Calvin Harris vs. Disclosure f./ Sam Smith “L’amour Toujours Titanium” by Dzeko & Torres (Tiesto edit) vs. Sia “Sweet Dreams 2k15 (Starjack X Collini Melbounce Edit)” by La Bouche “All I Wanna Do 2016 (Slice N Dice Bootleg)” by Sheryl Crow “Tsunami (Original Mix)” by DVBBS & Borgeous “In The Dark (Static Revenger Remix)” by Dev “Rated R (Jump Smokers Remix)” by Kim Sozzi f./ Izreal Medina “Drop It Low (Disco Fries Remix)” by Kat DeLuna
Here’s an episode featuring deep house, piano grooves, and soul. You’ll hear that classic 90s house sound and melody that’ll make you think of the good times. However the twist here is that some of the new mainstream songs are remixed into this style (or somewhat similar). Other songs have been revived from previous episodes, such as “Lean On” from season 8 and “Don’t Stop!” from season 2. Within this mix, the tempo has been standardized to 130 BPM, resulting in most songs to be increased by almost 9% (in contrast to the typical 3-4%). I hope you all enjoy this episode as much as I do. “Show Me (f./ Sneaky Sound System)” by Zinc “Deeper Love (f./ Aretha Franklin)” by Jauz “Go All Night (f./ Jennifer Hudson)” by Gorgon City “The Girl Is Mine (f./ Destiny's Child and Brandy)” by 99 Souls “Something In The Way You Move (The Scene Kings Club Mix)” by Ellie Goulding “Love Yourself (Division 4 Remix)” by Justin Bieber “Nasty (Division 4 Remix)” by Janet Jackson “The Party f./ Montell Jordan (Barry Harris vs Firebeatz Re-Edit)” by Joe Stone “Another You f./ Mr. Probz (CID Remix)” by Armin Van Burren “Lean On f./ MØ (eSquire Houselife Remix)” by Major Lazer & DJ Snake “Don't Stop! f./ JP Miles (AMD 2nd Mix)” by Dr. Vibe “Rumour Mill (f./ Anne-Marie & Will Heard)” by Rudimental “F For You f./ Mary J Blige (Club Mix)” by Disclosure “I'm Every Woman / Respect (Eric Kupper Club Mix)” by Aretha Franklin
