We had the pleasure of interviewing Nea Zoom video!Swedish artist & songwriter Nea has released a brand new single, "A Lover Like Me," out now via Milkshake / Sony Music Sweden. Listen to the song now here. Watch the official video here. The new song is the first single to be released from Nea's forthcoming debut album, TRANSPARENT, due out fall 2023.Armed with a fresh sound rooted in the raw undertones of '90s grunge, seamlessly melded with Nea's signature pop sensibility, "A Lover Like Me" is a self-love anthem dripping with magnetic charisma and fearless grit. Written and produced by Nea and Daniel Ledinsky (Tove Lo, Shakira, Rihanna), Nea describes, “'A Lover Like Me' is one of those rare songs that just wrote itself. I had a lyric idea, Daniel played some chords and 2 hours later we had the song! I love the rawness of the vocals and the vibe, that there's an edge to it.”Stepping into 2023 with 800 million+ streams as a solo artist, today's new single marks a bold start to a year destined for massive growth for Nea. With her debut album slated for fall, Nea is also confirmed as an expert panelist alongside Carl Falk & Elias Kapari on Sweden's forthcoming Songland shoot-off, which debuts this spring.First establishing herself as one of Sweden's most prolific songwriters, penning songs for notable artists such as Zara Larsson, Felix Jaehn, Tinie Tempah, Tove Styrke, and Axwell, 2019 marked the beginning of a destined transition for the multifaceted creative. First debuting as an artist with single "Some Say," the track, along with its Felix Jaehn Remix, were certified diamond, platinum or gold in 21 countries, reached #1 on airplay in 7 countries and became the 9th most played track on European radio that year. Since then, Nea has released a debut EP as well as collaborations with artists such as SHY Martin and Sandro Cavazza. With critical acclaim mounting from outlets such as Billboard, ELLE, and Wonderland, Nea has earned a slew of accolades including a slot at Lollapalooza Stockholm, a Swedish Grammy nomination for 'Composer of the Year,' a performance at the Etam Fashion show, a P3 Guld Awards show performance, as well as a music partnership with Samsung. Nea has also seen widespread streaming support with several playlist covers and exclusive features:About NeaWith nearly a billion streams as an artist and several international awards behind her, artist & songwriter Nea (born Linnea Södahl) has established herself a key player in the new generation of artists defining Swedish pop music on a global scale. Growing up in a small village in the Swedish countryside and now residing in Stockholm, Nea first earned recognition as one of the country's most acclaimed songwriters, racking up nearly 2.5 billion streams driven by hits including Zara Larsson's "Lush Life," and "TG4M." Now pursuing her career as a solo artist, Nea is making waves not only in her native Sweden but also internationally, including a performance at Spain's largest music gala LOS40 Awards where she won the Dance of the Year award and a nomination for Breakthrough of the Year. She has also received nominations including 'International Breakthrough of the Year' at France's NRJ Awards and the 'EU Prize' at the Music Moves Europe Awards. We want to hear from you! Please email Hello@BringinitBackwards.com.www.BringinitBackwards.com#podcast #interview #bringinbackpod #Nea #Transparent #ALoverLikeMe #NewMusic #ZoomListen & Subscribe to BiB https://www.bringinitbackwards.com/follow/ Follow our podcast on Instagram and Twitter! https://www.facebook.com/groups/bringinbackpod
Zara Larsson is an international singer song writer, amassing over 18 billion streams across all major streaming platforms. Since she won a national televised talent contest in Sweden aged 10, Zara has always wanted to be "bigger than Elvis" and "more famous than Beyoncé." Saying the goal is ambitious is understating it, but she's single-mindedly pursued it ever since. Outspoken about her beliefs and uncompromising in her art - for Zara, there are no half-measures and no shortcuts. She's in the game to be the best. Zara is promoting her new single, "Can't Tame Her," which is out now. Her new album is nearly ready, too. In one of the most honest conversations we've had with a major public figure, Zara certainly doesn't hold back on how she got to where she is, and where she's headed next... Welcome to the final UP! for 2022. This edition sneaks in just before Xmas and is packed full of funky house and club anthems to see you through to the New Year. The set kicks off with another great track by Jack Wins "Good Love" and slides into "Medicine" by Trucco. Rihanna's massive hit "Lift Me Up" from the Black Panther sequel gets an excellent treatment from Ray Isaac as does "I Just Want Your Touch" by Jolyon Petch. Division 4 has two remixes featured here for Meghan Trainor and Naked Flame respectively. LeAnn Rimes has a great new track "Spaceship" which has an amazing remix from Dave Aude`. Years & Years cover Crystal Waters' classic "100% Pure Love" mixed by Dirty Disco and 7th Heaven do a classic, energy remix of "Drop Dead Gorgeous" by NVS. Probably my favourite track on this set is P!nk's new song "Never Gonna Not Dance Again" remixed by Stephen Jusko & DJ Blacklow. It is such a joyous and uplifting song and all the remixes I have of it are stellar. Guy Scheiman reinvents "Like It Is" as does Big Kid on the amazing "Run" by Becky Hill. I never put Christmas themed songs on my podcasts and I promised my brother I would stick to that again this year. However, I folded and placed Mariah's "All I Want For Christmas" as the closing track as the Lord N' remix is quite uplifting. That's about as festive as I get. Don't hate me Nick. Have A great Xmas and New Year and I'll be back in 2023. EnjoyAnthony1/ "GOOD LOVE" (Original Club Mix) - JACK WINS2/ "MEDICINE" (Moto Blanco Club Mix) - TRUCCO ft. På tredjeplatsen gör First Aid Kit comeback efter en veckas frånvaro med Out Of My Head. Tove Lo är ny på listans sjätteplats med 2 Die 4 liksom Norlie & KKV på niondeplatsen med En Så´n Som Han som är en tolkning av Lasse Stefanz låt En Man Som Han. Olivia Lobato får lämna med Syrener, liksom Smith & Thell med I Feel It In The Wind och Alesso & Zara Larsson med Words.Carolina Norén programledare och producent
